This seems to be bait and switch. James doesn't identify himself as a pimp. He identifies himself as a guy with a girlfriend who has been working as a prostitute that he wants to help get on the straight and narrow by getting her away from an abusive pimp and into a house. He says he's a law student running for a local election. This seems to be clearly different from the edited version of the tapes. The ACORN employees should have drawn the line and stopped helping when James mentioned the El Salvadorians moving in to turn tricks with his girlfriend, there's no doubt about that, but at that point they had already made it clear that they don't care what he's using the house for, they're just trying to help and young man and woman get out of a bad situation. They seem to still be on that page of the story long after James and Hannah have clearly attempted to change the narrative. This is really misleading, and while it may be good political sabotage, it's despicable to call it journalism.
