Obama Should Send Sarah Palin to Louisiana
by Jason Killian MeathPresident Barack Obama could use Sarah Palin about right now. With oil gushing into the Gulf and no end in sight, Palin appeared on Fox News Sunday demanding an answer why President Obama is “”taking so doggone long to get in there, to dive in there, and grasp the complexity and the potential tragedy that we are seeing here in the Gulf of Mexico.”

It is no surprise Palin should grasp the BP disaster better than Obama. She was Chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, overseeing the state’s oil and gas fields for safety and ethics. Palin was a whistleblower on the commission, turning in a fellow Republican who was leaking information to oil insiders. As a former governor of Alaska, she presided over 20 percent of America’s domestically produced oil production – big, unforgiving outposts like Prudhoe Bay, North America’s largest oil field. In fact, it is her knowledge of big oil that thrust her into America’s living rooms.
During the summer of 2008, as Americans grappled with record high gas prices, Palin had a practical appeal to John McCain’s Presidential campaign. Palin may not have had international savvy, but she had something to say about energy and how to handle the big oil companies.
Scan the skyline of downtown Anchorage and nearly every tall building reads like an interstate pit stop – Shell, Exxon, BP. A governor here must learn the oil business, while being mindful not to become a shill for the international conglomerates who play high stakes. What’s more, the Exxon Valdez was a hard learned lesson in Alaska that taught generations of Alaskans a hard lesson about co-existing with oil in your backyard.
So, when Sarah Palin was governor, she was no pushover.
She earned a reputation for not bending to the oil companies’ will, sometimes at great political risk. When she was thrust on the national stage, Palin brought moxie – and much-added ‘mojo’ – to John McCain’s foundering campaign. The strategy seemed simple, almost elegant: let Palin talk tough about America’s energy independence and the war hero handles national security. McCain and Palin were a dynamic duo for a few weeks, until the Lehman Brothers crisis and talk of bailouts ended their appeal.
But now, it seems Sarah Palin deserves yet another look. She’s the energizer bunny of politicians – a hockey mom from Wasilla who looks just as comfortable in a hard hat as she does in a red leather jacket. One can easily picture her in a room full of brainy engineers declaring, ‘This is a time to grab the grizzly by the ear and cap this gusher.’ The White House is already spending time they clearly don’t have in the midst of this crisis belittling Palin’s take-charge approach. And there will be those who will chastise her for her ‘Drill Baby Drill’ position — and they will conveniently forget this is Obama’s exact position. But in a crisis, Palin’s leadership style stands in sharp contrast to Obama’s community leader approach.
The President is disturbingly comfortable waiting and watching to see how others handle a problem, while watching the Gulf of Mexico become the world’s largest pool of gelatinous goo.

Palin's experience, she saw this coming……..Obama zero experience.
April 18, 2007, Juneau, Alaska – Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today announced the “Petroleum Systems Integrity Office” (PSIO), her initiative to ensure Alaska’s oil and gas infrastructure will get the maintenance and inspection it needs to operate safely for decades to come.
Governor Palin’s Administrative Order 234, signed April 18, 2007, creates the PSIO as an independent office inside the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Division of Oil and Gas, with specific responsibilities and authorities to coordinate the state’s permitting, oversight and compliance functions with all other responsible agencies.
PSIO addresses lax maintenance practices on the North Slope that came to light last year after corroded pipelines spilled 200,000 gallons of oil, leading to production shut-downs at Prudhoe Bay and interruption in the flow of oil revenue to the state, she said.
PSIO requires industry to establish and maintain quality assurance programs, and requires the state to inspect facilities to ensure operators comply with those programs. PSIO will also search for any gaps in laws, regulations or industry practices that threaten the integrity of the state’s oil and gas infrastructure. If necessary, the office will step in and exert the state’s authority as issuer of development leases to ensure the system and the state’s interests are protected.
Under PSIO, state and federal agencies will retain their own responsibilities: Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation for environmental protection; Alaska Department of Natural Resources for land and water use, habitat protection, unit and lease management, and coastal zone management; and the U.S. Department of Transportation for the trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). But their efforts will be better coordinated, and any gaps in oversight will be better filled, through PSIO, the governor said.
“No other state has taken such bold steps to make sure the operators of oil and gas facilities are properly maintaining their own equipment,” Palin said. “Alaska is the first state to make operators share their maintenance and quality assurance programs with the state. We’re the first state to make operators document that they are complying with those programs. We’re the first state to conduct inspections to verify they are complying with those programs.
The half term governor was there during the good economic times and then bailed when the going got tough. And now she wants to criticize the president for his handling of the mess. Drill baby drill…
Another instance in which Sara Palin is infinitely more qualified to be president, than our Community Organizer in Chief, BHObama.
I love Palin! She's been ahead of the curve on a lot of issues, and I think the White House's obsession with targeting her is the biggest indication that she is on the right track on a multitude of policy points.
If Palin has an idea on how to cap the well let her offer it. Otherwise any Monday morning quarterbacking is just BS.
Wait a minute.
Isn't Palin against big government standing in the way of private industry?
Which way is it for you jackasses?
And Palin wouldn't know the difference between sea water and oil. She is a moron. And you know it.
anon is a moron.
fixed that for you.
(deleted everything else since it didn't make sense).
Another dickweed going by anon can this be…
For anyone who wants to attack Sarah Palin, please start by defending the "wonderful" job obama is doing. Not sure he could be doing any worse than he is.
Yes, here come all the ex-BDS Libs, who've morphed that into Palin Derangement Syndrome.
I don't find any evidence of leadership from the current president. He is big on mouth and propaganda and damned thin on competence and knowledge!
Should Sarah Palin get a request for help from America's big mouthed golfer I would hope she would respond that she would be willing to assist the American people after they have cleaned house and gotten rid of all the anti-capitalist socialists and communists in the administration.
NO MO BO!
With all the propaganda engagements, golf dates and basket ball commentary that Bo faces every day, don't expect him to be able to find time to do much more than appoint a couple more commissions or Czar's. BO still spends a lot of time worshiping at the shrine of Hugo, Fidel, Daniel, Che and his old communist mentors like Frank Marshal Davis.
Bet BO still finds time to shop for new Che 'jammies' when he's zipping around in AF1.
Palin has nothing. She's neither a geologist, nor an engineer, nor knows the first thing about capping the leak.
And the only people dumber than her are the ones that think she does.
She's a journalist for God's sake! And a 1/2 term governor from a redneck state.
God you people are stupid.
Sara could also teach Obama how to spread the wealth around, Alaska has no personal or state income tax…
Personal income tax
Alaska is the only state that does not collect state sales tax or levy an individual income tax on any type of personal income, either earned or unearned.
Instead, every Alaskan, children as well as adults, receives a payment each year from the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation. Residents can apply online for this money, known as the Permanent Fund Dividend or PFD, via the myAlaska program.
To finance state government operations, Alaska depends primarily on petroleum revenues. The Department of Revenue Tax Division reports regularly on the state's revenue sources.
The Department also issues an annual overview of its operations, including new state laws that directly affect the tax division. You can select from various reports at the Tax Division's search page.
I agree. This nitwit offers no solutions, just riles up the base.
Sarah Palin: Accidental Politician Turned Professional Sloganeer!
She abhors government regulation, babbles on about "freedom" and "too much government in our lives," then suggests government must step in to fix oil spills and regulate women's reproductive decisions. Does she have a solution? Nah. She's a hater, racist, fear-mongering idiot. Which is it, Sarah Bear? Can't keep it all straight in that little pea brain of yours? Sick to death of her — can't wait for 2012 when the Repug machine self implodes under the weight of its own insanity.
What are you talking about… no one cares about her baby. I'm addressing a real political issue. You should try and do the same.
Ah come on, give the guy a break. You know he's just a kid and how these college freshmen are when they first get "clued in" on the way the world really works by the hip and cool college professors. When he gets to the real world we will see some changes in his attitude.
Arizona passes a anti-illegal immigration law- Obama attacks it within hours
His professor friend is arrested -Obama attacks the police officers within hours
Obama says congress must pass his "emergency" stimulus package
Obama says congress must pass his health care bill to save millions of lives
Now:
Biggest oil leak in the history of the world – Obama is strangely quite, does nothing to help Louisiana or BP to stop the leak and blames everyone except his administration. The same administration that was about to award the deep water discovery a safety award.
Why his approval rating isn't in the single digits is a mystery.
And your hero BoBo is…..????
God anon you are stupid.
British Petroleum (BP) has even refused to use their own oil tankers, lying in the Gulf, to suck up most of the runaway oil, and possibly salvage it for sale later, as was done after a Saudi spill in the ‘90’s. That method was so successful, it vacuumed up about 85 percent of that renegade oil.
Nick Pozzi, a former oil pipeline engineering and operations project manager is puzzled why BP did not salvage perfectly good crude oil for later sale, and to thereby protect marine and wildlife.
What Mr. Pozzi does not know is the oil companies are owned by the world’s only legal counterfeiters – the International Monetary/Banking Cartel – who can “print” all the money they want, so making money on Gulf oil was not important to them. Killing the Gulf of Mexico is, apparently, important to them, for their own cryptic and esoteric reasons.
continued below
If the Cartel had wanted to save marine life, any oil they had not vacuumed up could have been mulched with any number of non-toxic materials, such as “Oil Sponge,” a name trademarked by Phase III, Inc.
Rated as the “best performing” absorbent by the US Army Corp of Engineers, Oil Sponge is 100% organic, and is made from renewable resources.
http://dprogram.net/2010/05/17/they-are-purposely...
Let's see, BP has the worst oil spill on land in the history of Alaska when palin was governor. BP found to be criminally negligent for the spill by deferring required maintenance. Meanwhile, todd palin is in the midst of his 18 year career working for BP. Yeah, sounds like the right person for the job. I am sure BP wished they had their former hired hand working for them down in the gulf. I am sure she ranks right up there behind dick cheney, and george bush as BP's preferred politicians. BP would not have to suffer those "boot on neck" nonsense. They could get the palin/rand paul teabagger reach around love.
Simply put… anon, you (and those like you) are afraid of Sarah Palin. She's got Obama's number and you all know it!
Go Sarah Go!!! Give em hell! She rocks it, and you all are peeing in your pull-ups. Crying like babies. I love it!
—-One can easily picture her in a room full of brainy engineers declaring, ‘This is a time to grab the grizzly by the ear and cap this gusher.’ —-
So THIS is what would make her a good president? A knack for homespun rhetoric? This is her "better than Obama is doing" solution?? What? You don't think Obama has suggested that the gusher needs to be capped? Or is it snappy oneliners that would make people get off their asses and do it? Give me a freakin' break. No wonder the country's in such bad shape.
Obumble would never do that because all he cares about is amassing wealth for his Communist-Fascist funders through our taxes. Corruption, sedition and treasonous behavior in it's highest form.
What's needed is not someone who knows how to cap the leak; BP has all the technology required in that respect. What's needed is someone who can light a fire under BP and get them to move at warp speed instead of the snail's pace they have been for more than a month now.
Why not give her or someone a shot? The feds haven't been able to increase BP's pace. All the feds have done is tie local governments hands trying to prevent the oil from getting into the marsh and estuaries that are the breeding grounds for Louisiana's billions of dollars of seafood industry. More than 2 weeks ago local officials asked the feds for permission to dredge sand berms in front of the barrier islands along the coast to close off access of Gulf water to the marsh. They're still waiting for an answer. And as for any long tern adverse impact these sand berms may be found to cause, if that's found to be the case, take them down after the oil has been cleaned up in the Gulf. In the long run it's likely these sand berms will be found to be additional hurricane protection, which could be a rare 2 for one benefit from a government project.
There are at least seven states that have no personal income tax: Alaska, Florida, Texas, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nevada. Learn to use the google.
The only thing the half term governess could teach Obama is how to quit when the easy money dries up.
Mikatolla, wes and anon;
How do you know she has no solutions? Just because she berates Obama for his lack of leadship doesn't mean she's required to include what her solution would be.
In fact, she may not have a solution but I'd bet she knows who to call up to find out what solutions are available or who knows who can come up with solutions. That's what leaders do, they don't necessarily provide the solution, they delegate or network among those who do have the expertise and persuade them to take a hand or provide them with the resources to put their solutions into action.
Dirty little secret the MFM isn't talking about: Obama knew before the rest of us what was happening in the gulf. BP assured him they had it under control and he, like the lazy, empty suit that he is, didn't try to find out if they actually did have the answers. He's also not made this a priority and demanded that the agencies involved start moving faster and smarter or they would lose their jobs. (janet goes first, imho).
Get over your PDS cause it's gonna be a loooonnng decade for you otherwise.
Character is revealed in how someone responds to a crisis.
Obama's character, much like his budget, relies heavily on deficit spending.
Isn't this just hilarious. Our world is going to Hell and everyone just wants to argue about Sarah Palin and Barack Obama's intelligence. He runs really short on substance but is a perfect politician and can put a spin on anything. She isn't nearly as polished on that front but truely has knowledge of Oil even if only from Osmosis. He sits back waiting for somebody to fix the problem so he can take credit for it and blame the initial problem on Bush. We're all screwed. At least the liberals are so out of touch with reality that they haven't figured that out yet.
You can't stand it that she knows a thousand times more than Obambi, and that if she was in charge she wouldn't be blaming BP and would've had the government and BP tap the hole already instead of playing golf the the 40th time or so. Get a clue that Obambi is the biggest fraud to be in office in our lifetime. God only hopes for the remainder of his first and last term we don't get attacked for the fifth time.
Yeah, good thing we elected Barack "One-Term Back-Bench Senator From Corruptocrat Chi-Town" Obama as president. We wouldn't want an inexperienced greenhorn like Sarah Palin in the executive branch waffling about and failing to lead the nation.
[sarc/]
The truth of the matter is that Obama is just as gung-ho about oil as any petroleum conglomerate shill. The only difference between him and Palin is that Obambi likes to play footsie with the eco-dweebs and pretend like he's not in bed with the oil companies.
Which means he's a coward when it comes to actually taking a stand on the issues.
Right on mozey.
"What's needed is not someone who knows how to cap the leak; BP has all the technology required in that respect. What's needed is someone who can light a fire under BP and get them to move at warp speed instead of the snail's pace they have been for more than a month now."
You are a moron. Do you honestly believe that BP can stop the leak but chooses to take their time.
This in spite of the fact that BP is responsible for ALL of the clean up costs. I suppose you think the more oil that leaks out the easier it is to clean it up.
Good God you people are stupid.
Silly comment.
Palin didn't bail "when the going got tough" – it wasn't the job of Governor that was the problem.
"Hoist on her own petard" might be a better retort – she championed an ethics bill which a) made it extraordinarily easy for people of bad faith to swamp a government official with ethics complaints, while b) generally prohibiting the embattled government official from defending him or herself against the allegations with anything but personal funds.
The premise of this architecture was, of course, that NO ONE would EVER file an ethics complaint just to harass a public official for political reasons. Alaska has shown that premise to be demonstrably false.
Public service ought not make one bankrupt.
Sarah does more to attract the trolls out of the woodwork than any other topic.
This tells me ONE THING!
The more they pour hate on her, the more I like her.
At this rate, an untrained monkey can do a better job than Obama and get it done in a shorter timeframe to.
Besides, unlike our dimwit in office now, atleast Palin knows how to handle these issues with oil companies and she is one that will atleast get the job done.
My idea is to suspend the Wookie naked in a harness from a Heavy, Very Heavy lift helicopter in front of the spill and it will retreat all the way to Cuba.
Right on King, Why else would he have voted 'present' so many times?
You need to quit bringing facts into this debate, you'll scare away the trolls. And I still have three more boring hours at work, so I need their comedy!
Oh, lookey here! It's mikaTROLL, the clueless obamababy coming back to get attention.
Heard you got your butt whupped badly on one story, mikatroll–so badly, in fact, that a quarter page of your comments had to be deleted because of your meltdown. The posters were hilarious at your whiny behavior–I was, too.
Lonely again, little boy?
Double dumb with 'anon' AND 'mikatroll.'
Do you really believe she wouldn't know the difference, brainiac? I think she would–and you know it.
Why Obama hasn't called up every major-league oil engineer and technical expert and asked them to get to the Gulf in a big hurry and get started ASAP, is totally beyond me. One would think Obama would at least know how to delegate fixing a crisis to those with the most technical knowledge. DUH.
Meanwhile, Jindal is coordinating berm-building efforts. There's a couple guys out there who've proposed using hay (yes, hay!) to collect the oil, then scoop it all up when it gets to the beach using standard beach-combing equipment, or out on the ocean using commercial fishnets. Another poster on this thread mentioned an "oil sponge" product that works but isn't being used.
The absolute, very LEAST Obama can do is to stay the hell out of the way and don't roadblock the cleanup. Let American ingenuity and regular Americans' pride in their land and water, and desire to continue their Gulf-based livelihoods, drive the cleanup.
Don't encourage the clueless troll, jake. You'll only be disappointed.
Having a 100% solution to the oil gusher problem and NOT giving it up?! Knowing someone who does have a solution and not giving that persons name?! Do you want her to wait until 2012 and THEN come up with a brilliant plan?! Get real.
You really know NOTHING about oil drilling.
BP is trying FIRST, ways to cap the leak AND still keep the well producing, without having to drill an entire NEW hole. They won't try the drastic measure that would ruin the well until they "have" to, and exhausted all the other means (of which one might still work). Right now the expected profits from a working well STILL outweighs any costs of the spill.
Remember, this still isn't even the spill the Valdez was, and that one is like 29th on the spill lists.
God anon is stupid.
I don't know what you are talking about…
Don't forget their motto " don't let a good crisis go to waste" and having said that I bet they are drafting a bill restricting ALL drilling ad infinitum. Wasn't that the original NWO directive to bankrupt us with $10 gas prices and make Alwhore and company very rich with windmills?
Actually she's on an equal par with Pamela Geller and Andrew Breitbart when it comes to trolling thugs.
I don't see what Palin could do differently. She is far more of a friend to big oil than Obama.
*PALIN* should send Palin into Louisiana!
Let's see Republicans upstage the incompetent, inactive Democrat Administration.
*Shame*, *embarass* them by highlighting what the current state of affairs is, and what is yet needed.
*Show* some initiative without waiting to "react" time after time (*if* they react at all…sigh!).
Kneecap the destructiveness of Democrats by putting a spotlight on it and simultaneously indicating a *positive* and *active* side of Republicans.
I'll admit she scared me. To think she could have been a heartbeat away from the Presidency….Now, thank goodness, she can act like a pundit and collect her millions. She no longer scares me.
Personal or state, Learn to READ.
Alaskan citizens also collect money from the oil companies,,,,google that and then ask yourselves why we are not drilling on federal land and collecting our share, like Alaska does.
Why don't the oil companies pay for the MMS themselves?? The oil company's pay in Alaska.
Louisiana does not need some drop-out governor from Alaska to tell them how to run the state. Bobby Jindal has all the talent he needs and will represent the interests of Acadiana without grandstanding camera op folks. As it is, he is already having to get the federal government out of the way so Louisiana can preserve their interests. For now, Palin seems more like a gadfly and opportunist trading on not much more than common sense and decent appearance. Yeah, I know, a female politician who actually looks good, it's rare and that is probably why those nasty looking liberal wimmins hate her! <lol>
Now there's one I've never read before….'dickweed.' It works: troll, dickweed–but I repeat myself!
Yeah, if I were governor and subject to slew of frivolous lawsuits that I had to fight MYSELF.. I'd have bailed, too. Get a life you idiot. She couldn't rely on state funds to defend herself. You can mock her all you want, she's still a heck of lot smarter than most of the guys in the room.
I don't care what your political affiliation is, I don't care who you supported in the 2010 election. I would venture to say that the people of the Louisiana gulf coast don't much care either. They care about a solution. Obama's wait and see approach is a dismal failure, and yet, where is the outrage from the media? The were awfully quick to blame Bush following Katrina, yet Nagin and Blanco both got passes. I am sick and tired of people making political hay out of this. It's long past time for action, and time to solve the crisis.
Oh please, troll. As if you could identify 'a real political issue.' What weanies you all are, so desperate to sound relevant.
We'll bring up whatever topics we want, where ever we feel like bringing them up–who cares that you started the thread–we'll address whatever we want to here, genius.
Do you think what you have to say is of import to anyone here but yourself? Please.
Obama is neither a geologist, nor an engineer, nor knows the first thing about capping the leak.
And he only thinks the people dumber than him are the ones that disagree with him.
Obama is a community agitator, with no experience running so much as a lawn mowing business, which most kids have.
So where exactly is Obama more qualified at anything other than race hustling and influence peddling?
Well, if Obama were to appoint her to this position, she would be likely to quit halfway through, if we go by her record as Alaska Governor.
If snarky, condescening speeches can stop the leak and clean up the Gulf, then Sarah's just the person for the job.
We'll take a free moron over a Soros Collective drone every time. That would be you, jerk. The HuffinGlue Post echo chamber you inhabit is scared to death of an independent woman who does not adhere to Regressive dogma about feminism. Neither you nor any of your fellow travelers can bear the thought of a woman you'll never be able to control — not that she'd give any of you zitty, callow little twerps the time of day in the first place, much less a second look — so you attack mercilessly and endlessly.
God, your Regressive motives are painfully obvious, dullard.
And how much in contributions, exactly, did Obama recieve from BP……..?
"During his time in the Senate and while running for president, Obama received a total of $77,051 from the oil giant and is the top recipient of BP PAC and individual money over the past 20 years, according to financial disclosure records."
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0510/36783.h...
Since the government already took the money to finance a federal effort to control and clean up spills, they had an obligation to do so.
Strangely enough, for all the money they took in via taxes, and spent on preparing a disaster response, all they had was a plan, and no fireboom, and waited a week even to implement that.
Seems you hold more hate than palin does, judging by your denigration of her as a person……. and crying 'racist' to silence dissent does NOT work anymore.
Is that so? And perchance, who gave you the keys to the kindgom of knowledge?
Just because the state of Alaska doesn't collect the sales tax doesn't mean Alaskans don't pay one. State law allows the counties to collect up to 7 % in sales taxes, so it is a distinction without a difference to Alaskan taxpayers. It's more than the state of Texas collects from us.
One of the reasons Palin cut and ran was the budget shortfalls created by the faltering oil economy that is not immune to the weakness in the overall economy.
I do mock her… all I want. She's an idiot.
There you go sorebird with facts and solutions, you must remember we are in the time of Barry…unicorns and lollipops, tied together with utter inexperience in anything, except bumming money, and bellyaching.
Thanks, MSMediacritic. I know it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.
So you want to talk about Palin's baby? Well ok, but it seems a bit strange to me.
I think Sarah Palin would recommend to send Obama to Europe.
Oil companies give money to all candidates. Let's see who works the hardest for that money, because right now it looks like Republicans in the Congress who oppose the regulation of off shore drilling.
So if Palin were to succeed Obama would take credit for having the knowledge in sending the right person.
You gotta love the Donks , everything spins to their frequency.
Heres one success that didn't. Saddam Hussein problem -Send in Us military ,solve problem. Ooops ,Donks say it'll be failure. Bush send in Petraeus . Donks still say failure. US Military succeeds , Saddam gone. Donks never say anything and the MSM still says Donks right.
The problem is that big government who knows nothing more than political ideology is IN the way.
Where's the President?
Well, apparently he has time to do this–
“We are very appreciative the President of the United States took time during the NBA’s Conference Finals to sit with Marv to discuss a variety of topics that relate to basketball, as well as national issues that have recently crossed into the sports landscape,” said David Levy, president of sales, distribution and sports, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.
I'm sure Mr Levy didn't realize how stupid he made the prez sound. " the President of the United States took time during the NBA’s Conference Finals" WTF? Shouldn't he be meeting folks and trying to figure out what the hell to do with the Gulf? How about a visit to Nashville?
I'm surprised he had time from his golf game to meet with old Marv.
speaking of who is talking about what,…………………….there Mickey
why is her half term such a torn in all you lib sides,……………….
did she or did she not produce a very healthy government entity in the creation PSIO
"………And now she wants to criticize the president for his handling of the mes………."
Oh if only she were,…."handling this mess,………"
So far it is not the biggest in the history of the world.
the Transocean "Deepwater Horizon" very much earned that award from its safety record.
There really is not much the O'Zero Admin can do except get out of the way. It has been in the way and Louisiana is shoving it out of the way via state and local government.
Palin stupid? …this is as opposed to Barry the inexperienced Boy Wonder! …Duh-One that was going to lower the sea level, and he can’t get a little oil leak fixed…great use of liberal projection there Mik.
what about the kitchen sink,………?????
The wetlands and marsh's are Federally protected. They have had the power to react at any moment, and did not. It is not rocket science. They are talking out of both sides of their mouths. Remember in November, and let us oust these incapable fools.
End the Fed,
Restore the Republic,
Get the facts from somewhere other than ANY media source NONE of them have been credible thus far.
What do you know about such "negligence" and any criminality other than your crack use?
Really, does it seem strange to you? Not nearly as strange as choosing to be a liberal troll 'seems' to the rest of us.
What difference does it make what we 'want to talk about?' You'll have little to nothing of any relevance to offer to the subject anyway.
Salad Tosser!
Okay, in wading through of all the posts I must say I had to laugh out loud at the sheer idiocy of the leftist trolls on here. Do Democrats have a sign up at their headquarters that say "No brains allowed!"? Every time you fools run off the rails SP wins. EVERY-SINGLE-TIME!
The locals and Jindal are already showing how incompetent they are. It is just that the media only puts out BS non-factual reporting.
Change your moniker fat head because you neither know reason nor espouse it.
Thank you at last someone who has been following local action which NONE of the media is reporting. I am shocked that the Right hasn't been plastering the ineptitude of the Feds all over the internet.
Quitters never win Ralph. The half term governess sacrificed any chance she might have had at higher office when she quit the people of Alaska. Personally, I wish she would run because I don't believe she can win. She can't even talk to the press without her handlers nearby to tell us "what the governor meant to say…"
No worries we have “Duh-One” in charge…he’s so smart, in a third world kind of way.
If they don't call Palin they are not doing what the people want. They are doing what they want. They love a crisis so that we have to ask Govt. for help. By them sitting there doing nothing is like letting America fail. It looks like their taking a dive in the boxing ring.
SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST THING FOR AMERICA'S INDEPENDENCE IN OIL.
This bunch wants to head up a new world, mike. There is no 'real world' for them.
Obama is the president now, and Palin is the queen of Twitter. See the difference?
Don’t worry about it Barry has appointed a bipartisan commission to review what happened, that’s useful, he read it in a book!
What are you talking about?
500-year flood in Tennessee- Obama is silent and motionless.
Poor whiny libs so afraid of Sarah.
Look at the common theme to ALL the lib psost here.
Insulting, factually devoid, short, no logic or reasoning, AND half still refer to Bush.
How bitter and angry can a group collectively be? That's ALL libs have to offer, piss and hate. It's their frigging platform people!
Why? Because Obammy is the "Great Destroyer"! He is damned determined to destroy the USA and what better way to do it than let someone else do it (BP)!
"BP found to be criminally negligent for the spill by deferring required maintenance"
By whom? Why, by the Alaska state government>
Petard.
Hoist.
Because you are threatened by opinions that challenge your simple world view. If you don't like my posts then ignore them.
If snarky, condescening speeches can stop the leak and clean up the Gulf, then Obama would have had the job done by now.
"BP is trying FIRST, ways to cap the leak AND still keep the well producing, without having to drill an entire NEW hole. They won't try the drastic measure that would ruin the well until they "have" to, and exhausted all the other means (of which one might still work). Right now the expected profits from a working well STILL outweighs any costs of the spill."
You are a complete moron. BP has made it clear they are going to abandon the site as this isn't the first time they've had a problem here.
If you don't think they are doing everything humanly possible to end the leaking you are an unbelievably stupid idiot.
Do you have no idea of the cleanup costs? Are you aware it is expected the oil could lay on the sea floor for a hundred years. Just waiting to be washed ashore?
God you people are stupid.
Even a 'half-term' of something makes her more experienced than his seven years of nothing.
"Quitters never win.."
And liberals are still losers even when they win, troll. Your loser in the WH quit the US and the US Constitution rather hastily now didn't he? And right after he took the Oath of Office, too. But then, that's not his first lie, is it? At least the rest of us can recognize a lying sack of incompetence when we see one. Yet, you actually defend him even while he's screwing you over–that's quitting, too.
And at least the Governor has the grit to talk on her own at all–and I'm not even a fan of hers, but I respect her more than that sorry spectacle you geniuses put in Office. No teleprompter tot is she.
