Room 237, I appreciate your point. International diplomacy however is tricky. Picture that oft repeated scene in the movies where the bad guy is cornered, but he holds a gun to the head of a sympathetic figure. Russia is the bad guy. Our missile defense system in Europe is like holding all of the damsels and good guys out of reach of the tyrant.

Ok deadpan227, have you ever heard that line sung by IZ in his version of "Somewhere over the rainbow"? It is in the movie 50 First Dates but not on the soundtrack. Listen to that version while contemplating those imprisoned behind that Wall. Powerful! It is one of my favorite tunes.
