The plan was a simple one. The path to Obama’s second term requires that enough voters forget that our current economic woes are the fault of a failed President who enjoyed two years of having every single item on his wish-list passed by Congress. And so the idea was to create Occupy in order to give the MSM the cover they desired to spend every single day up until the election talking about greed and income inequality in order to blame both for the stagnant economy.
The hope was that by repeating this message incessantly, enough voters could be convinced that Wall Street, and by extension, evil Republicans, were to blame for our chronic unemployment, record deficits, and stillborn economic growth. President Obama who?

Fortunately for America, this plan has not only failed miserably it has backfired completely. Thanks to the rise of New Media and our unwillingness to let the MSM’s lies, bias, and cover ups stand for even one more day, Occupy is in its death throes and might take the President and Democratic party down with it. First and foremost, we uncovered the lie that Occupy was grassroots and then we exposed every Occupy rape, poop, death, overdose, old woman thrown down the stairs, attack on a police officer, and public act of masturbation. Recently, President Obama said that the Occupiers are just like the Tea Party.
That’s a lie.

One of the secret weapons the corrupt mainstream media uses in their never-ending quest to Palace Guard for the left is context. For example, when it came to the Tea Party, the MSM was notorious for amplifying a single incident (that was usually a lie) and using it to attempt to smear and define an entire movement. This is what you do when you want to quickly take out a political enemy.
The MSM’s contextual game changes, however, when their desire is to strengthen a movement and give it credibility and room to grow. By dutifully reporting individual incidents but not reporting on the growing scope and size of Occupy Wall Street lawlessness, the MSM is willfully covering up the violence, vandalism, and anti-Semitism that truly does define this movement.Moreover, by intentionally keeping the pieces of this story scattered, the MSM is allowed to have their cake and eat it too. No one can accuse them of not reporting these incidents, but by choosing not to bring the pieces together, the MSM ensures the least amount of public relations damage is done to the Occupiers.
What I’ve collected below is far from comprehensive but still shows over 75 incidents of sexual assault, violence, vandalism, anti-Semitism, extortion, perversion, and lawlessness.
The MSM could easily tell the story of how this violence-prone movement is becoming an increasing threat to our society. After all, my research below is the result of nothing more than Twitter and Google. Among others, The New York Times, Washington Post, Politico, and the LA Times have willfully chosen not to use the resources at their disposal to give the public an honest look at this growing menace. In their partisan minds, truth doesn’t trump agenda.
A few notes on the list below. Whenever possible, I traced the incident back to the original news source. I was as careful as possible when it came to duplicate postings, though I would guess there are a few in here. There are also less than five examples that don’t involve what I would qualify as outright lawlessness but do help to expose the Occupiers for who and what they really are. Finally, and this is the most important way in which the list is imperfect, I most certainly wasn’t able to document everything. A perfect list would be much more alarming than the one I slapped together in just a few hours.
What is true is that on October 18, pollster Doug Schoen (a Democrat!) discovered that a full 31% of Occupiers were willing to commit violence in pursuit of their agenda, whatever that is. As a response to this startling and frightening admission, the MSM either outright ignored or dismissed it. What you’ll see below proves that at least when it comes to their willingness to break the law, the Occupiers are keeping their word.
The list is in no particular order. Like the Occupiers themselves, it’s unruly, disorganized, messy and not focused solely on the nation’s media centers. The movement is spreading across America and bringing with it their outrageous and appalling behavior.
On top of everything else, imagine the drain all this lawlessness has on law enforcement resources. My list doesn’t even include the collateral damage. Thanks to Occupy Wall Street’s drain on police personnel, shootings increased 154% in New York alone. What is it in Chicago, Seattle, Boston, Oakland, and Cleveland?
Just last week Vice President Joe Biden was all freaked out about the possibility of crime rates increasing if Congress didn’t pass Obama’s Son of Stimulus. Well, that premise was based on a lie, but the same White House trying to sell that bill of bull isn’t at all concerned with the very real increase in crime caused by the Occupiers they encourage.

But nooooooo………… they just wouldn't listen. And now they are starting to look just a little bit foolish. Plus, their message is just not as clear as when they started out. Hell, I even suggested a new name for the movement, "Occupy Every Street", which would have allowed everyone to sleep in their own bed at night, instead of camping in the cold.

The very fact that we are discussing them now proves that they are still relevant. You can wish that would change as much as you like, but we'll still be having this discussion in ten years if we make it that long.
The problem is one of leverage. Currently, the public has none. They aren't likely to acquire it any time soon, either. The only viable way to solve this problem (and I am not advocating anything here) is to do what the Chinese did with their drug addicts…drag them all out in the public square and shoot them in the back of their heads. Then you can start over from scratch from the ground up. But, if you do that, you'll end up with everything else China has to "offer".
The point is that you're wrong. You're not going to change the way media works or the biases it chooses to display. It will take two generations or more to breed the problem out of existence. America has long ago proven it doesn't have what it takes to follow an issue that long. We let Progressive Socialism have a 100 year free pass. I really wish this were all about banks and the government being too cozy with one another. And to be fair, there are certainly people who are protesting solely for that reason alone. These folks aren't all hippies or revolutionaries.
But the leadership of the movement (and yes there are leaders despite statements to the contrary) want far more than an end to the mingling of Washington and Wall Street. We have their own words as evidence. Their desire is to take the relatively benign complaints about crony capitalism and merge them with a full-blown call to remake our entire economic system into something antithetical to most Americans.
Those people are going to keep pushing to get what they want, and they're hoping they can start to drag along the average protester who's simply upset about bailouts. The madness of crowds can be a powerful motivator to compel people to support causes they wouldn't otherwise support. The people behind the scenes are hoping to exploit that phenomena.
(And it bears repeating that if this were only about collusion between the government and Wall Street, protesters would be occupying the National Mall, too. None of this corruption happens without a far-too-powerful government orchestrating it.)

I still don't buy the "this should be in DC" argument. DC has become a swath of employees, who in too many ways no longer work for the people.
DC, for instance, doesn't even understand what they did when banks went behind their ear and moved along the de-regulation which allowed Credit Default Swaps into the market. Now, we hear the Greek crisis is supposedly over, but just as with the 13bb for AIG, these swaps are going to be tampered with so Goldman gets paid.
I don't know who holds what, with certainty, but the idea is I pay you for a CDS on Greece and if they pay back only 50%, you pay me the rest. I pay you an insurance premium, you make good when Greece defaults. In this case it is alleged that Goldman is the insurer (AIG was the insurer, when taxpayers stepped in and paid Goldman). Here's where it gets interesting. Becuase Goldman sits on the board of the body governing the swaps market, they basically get to re-define what a default is. They are trying to do this under the rubric that lenders who are allowing Greece to reneg on its debts are doing so on a "Voluntary" basis.
I remind everyone that Byron Dorgan's amendment to ban CDS was tabled, in 2009. Now, we see the game played out again. It isn't like the 80's, or 90's anymore. The "BANKS" changed what "WE" already had in place. If you watched how it was Senators on the agriculture committee (including Grassley) who stood up for change, you would have seen how the banks infiltrated everyplace else. SO, WE TAKE IT TO THEM.
The Volcker Rule is another example. This fundamental Glass-Steagall part was DEAD out of the Senate and only brought back in reconciliation between the two bodies of Congress because enough people were outraged. Obama wouldn't have cared because he didn't stand up for it, as it died the first time in the Senate.

However, only a handful of the protesters seem to get that this is possible solely because of the existence of the Federal Reserve (and not coincidentally the central banks of other countries). It enables the crony capitalism, and it enables the incredible growth in government we've experienced since its creation. And since people seem dead set on maintaining or growing the size of government, the primary mechanism by which we are all collectively screwed will remain in place.

Excellent, John. The people behind these protests work the most effectively in the dark, using a variety of seductive names for their organizations to gain the support of the young and brain washed. They have been at work this way for 70 years. They have made only one mistake along the way and they have made that same mistake twice. The election of Barack Obama emboldened them to come out into the light. They had to pull back some. The Occupy protests have emboldened them again and your reporting is exposing them. Exposure means their failure.
The MSM cannot continue their total support indefinitely when you keep reporting the truth. Diminishing returns will kick-in for many of them, but not all.
We will never completely exterminate them. The best we can do is keep them in their bunkers and keep their effectiveness at a minimum. This means they have to fail and fail big. Keep exposing them for what they are……..it's the only way.

Well I think you are wrong. The population at large is like a breeze that blows in the direction of current cultural tendencies. In 2008–after 10 years of hard push by the liberal/progressive culture–we got the epitome of liberal/progressievness, Barrack Obama as President.
Within a couple months of his inauguration, however, in the post-stimulus environment AND through websites such a Breitbart which expose LSM bias, the President's ratings have steadily sank. Why is that? Why did it take 10 years of hard push from the hard left to get a Progressive President, but only months of policy failure by the President to get momentum against hard left ideology?

Hi John Nolte. My name is Matthew Richards, I am a Manchester resident and an organizer in Occupy New Hampshire, and I have a factual correction to make in regards to the first source you posted.
I slept in Victory Park, then Veteran's Park, 24/7 from when the occupation started on Sat October 15th to the date when our encampment got raided on October 19th. There have been a few conflicts among the transient/homeless population of the park, and we peacefully mediated all of them. However, there was no "pimping incident." I've never seen the woman in the article in my life. If she had been there, I would have seen it, because I was literally there 24/7.
Most importanly, the article is dated October 28th, and we haven't been in Victory Park for 2 weeks. There was no rally there, so it's impossible she was associated with Occupy New Hampshire. I've contacted the author of the Union Leader article so he can make a retraction, because clearly he's been misinformed.
The very fact that the OWS people continually discourage, it seems, rape victims from talking to the police so that their own internal "police" force can investigate the crime or threatening them to cow them into silence (several instances of which appear in the list above) makes them lose all credibility and worthy of respect with me. Those are the very things that the leftists and the feminists have lectured us NOT to do time and again for the last 30 years. Interesting that those who claim to be all about protecting the rights and lives of women merely throw them under the bus when the prospect of revolution comes knocking on the door.

First of all, let me say we can agree on the 'whimsical' nature of the American public.
Now, allow me to point out that the subject of politics has zero to do with the behavior of the MSM. The Constitution itself stands as a bulwark between government and the Fourth Estate. That gives the MSM unprecedented freedom. As we all know, freedom means the ability to make an unfettered choice between good and evil. MSM has chosen evil. They have not been whimsical in their choice. They have been methodical and steadfast in their pursuit of Socialism for almost as long as they have existed…certainly as long as I've been alive. Much like (indeed, they are different arms of the same beast) the Progressive movement itself, which has been toiling diligently for 100 years to tear down what our Founding Fathers built.

Yeah. We got some snow. It lasted from 1AM to about 3AM. Never quite covered the grass. The rest that fell didn't stick. Made my first fire today as well. We've still got good color on the trees, but I'm not sure if that will last until your visit though. I'm just hoping for nice weather that day. Plenty of indoors activities if it turns bad though.
