Sarah Palin Steps Into Wisconsin, Points to Left Field, and Hits a Grand Slam
by John NolteUPDATE: Oh look, the MSM’s already making thing’s up. See here.
If Sarah Palin’s not running for president, what a terrible waste that would be of the single best stump speech I’ve heard since, well, Palin’s ’08 convention speech, which just happened to be the single most electrifying political moment of my adult life. A thrill didn’t just run up my leg that night, it ran up everything in me that’s American, and today in Madison, WI, it happened again. Surrounded by an obnoxiously hostile, astro-turfed, pro-union crowd that tried and failed to drown out her message with obnoxiously hostile astro-turfed noise, the former Alaskan Governor took the fight directly to the growing pile of Obama’s failures in the most effective way we’ve heard yet from a potential GOP challenger.
If you want to know why Obama’s Palace Guards in the MSM are determined to destroy this woman and all of popular culture has risen up to help, press PLAY. If you want to know why the GOP Establishment had better start looking over their collective shoulders, press PLAY.
—–
You see what else she did there? Exactly what she did as a reform-minded governor in Alaska. She called the GOP Establishment out for everything they’re doing wrong, appealed to reasonable rank-and-file union members disgusted by their leadership, and reaffirmed her own proud union credentials. Better yet, she also launched the kind of tight, sharp, and articulate attack on President Obama’s failed presidency that likely has the White House — and their media allies — loosening their ties, clearing their throats, and looking for any word she might have mispronounced as an excuse to drown out her appealing message with the furtherance of a cruel “stupid” narrative they’ve been failing at for two-plus years.
I’ll ask again: How can someone so “dumb” be so right about everything?
Who knows how the MSM will try to spin this speech into a negative, but we all know they will. However, that’s the beauty of the Internet age. Today the corrupt media has no say in the matter. We as citizen journalists and activists can spread the word unfiltered through Facebook, Twitter and other forms of social media. Please do.
For my money, what Palin really accomplished here was grabbing hold of and making her own what has made Donald Trump such a breath of fresh air and boosted his poll numbers. What we want first and foremost in our GOP standard-bearer is someone unafraid of the MSM, and who takes the fight directly to Obama. We also want them calling out our friends in DC when they — to paraphrase the Governor — rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic after they’ve promised to stop Obama from hitting icebergs.
On this day, Tea Party tax-day, Sarah Palin walked into the heart of this nation’s battle, stared down a gallery of Leftist union goons with poise and grace, and articulated our message as well as anyone ever could. Let’s hope this is just the beginning.

She is kicking butt and taking names.
She knows her target and has locked on.
I hope she takes no Prisoners.
Let the Left wallow in despair, because for the Liberals in the United States of America, all hope is lost.
Liberals Lose.
Sarah Palin is IT! She is the one we have been waiting for. All during her career she has shown that she has the "Right Stuff". From taking on the Old Boy network in Alaska and even getting some in her own party put behind bars to telling the Big Oil companies where to put it and making deals that were good for the people of Alaska.
I love this woman. She has more spine and conviction than any 10 other potential candidates I can think of combined.
Liberals make the opposites "true". For example, unethical conduct is now ethical (see Bill Clinton), moral conduct is now immoral (see all the Christian haters), right is wrong, wrong is right…
So, you ask, how can anyone so dumb be right so often? Those words have lost all meaning in the lexicon of the left.
Great Article John , Now bring on the Trolls…..
she said it all today John, threw down the gauntlet and let the chips fall where they may….is that a trainwreck I hear from the other side?
The left will do what the left always does.
DEMONIZE AND LIE!
It's working less and less.
Thing about trolls… THEY ALWAYS GET BEAT IN THE END!
No one uses the MSM these days…. except the Liberals.
They no longer have any control of the message.
Americans Win when Liberals Lose.
"When the light shines the darkness flees."
Run Obama, run and hide!
Violent rent-a-mobs!
Corpulent pigfat tuffy-wuffies.
http://bigpeace.com/files/2011/03/obama-fraud1.jp...
Funny to see one lonely pigfat dude waiving his arms and belching his communist chants.
As Sean Hannity said "Keep firing missiles of truth".
No more "go along to get along" Republicans. FIGHT AND WIN! Never give up.
I've been saying from day one Palin/Bachmann.I will even go Bachmann/Palin.
I Agree 110%
Run Sarah Run
If we could just have more than one that was this articulate about voicing the "right" side, the left would have NO representation!!
PALIN / BOLTON 2012
Compared to barry she is Exactly what America will NEED to repair
ALL of the damage wrought by the Dumb-O-cRATs and barry and his UNION masters.
This is ONE MORE REASON America NEED's Sarah Palin NOW more than EVER.
And I can NOT stress this enough,…
Sarah Palin IS ONE of the ONLY women IN the REPUBLICAN PARTY,…
With the "B A L L S" to tell Barry and his UNION masters,…
AND the Dumb-O-cRATs to SHOVE their agenda were the sun does NOT SHINE!!.
PALIN / BOLTON 2012
or
Barack Obama 2012? then “You may want to think about a trade-in.” PALIN / BOLTON 2012
That was awesome.
We're in dire straits, and Governor Palin laid out the blunt truths surrounded by a semi-hostile crowd.
Presidential candidates, you want to play? Take note.
Standing up and cheering! Bless her and all those people for showing up on that cold, windy, rainy day! Thank you all! Keep up the good work Sarah!( but don't run for President)
WOW! Sarah Palin pants Obama right in public! Even if you don't like her, you still can't deny her passion and courage to speak power to the arrogant one in the White House! I don't know when I've ever seen a more courageous woman in the public spotlight. The General Electric MSM idiots are tools (owned by Obama and Immelt) who is now in the White House. Go President Sarah Palin. I have no doubt she could govern better than the community agitator.
Palin is fantastic. She would be a phenom for America and would promote American values without shame. My fear is the media’s relentless smear job against her has made it difficult for her to win a national election. Otherwise she would be my top choice. Unlike Hussein who has openly attacked the half of America that rejected him, Palin tries to explain her positions instead of demagouging the opposition. I would like to see Palin play the role of Kingmaker while flushing out the invertebrates in our Party. There are many fine choices on The Right™ but I think my dream ticket would be Bachmann/West. I’d like to see Trump continue to bloody up Hussein and then step aside for others, having done this nation a favor exposing Hussein for the fraud that he is.
SARAH PALIN / (Fill in the Blank) 2012!!!!!!!!
Something to consider;
Note; this principal ALSO applies to the OLD republican establishment
(Bush’s, etc)
You can tell when the LEFT REALLY IS scared
of a Republican by the amount of vitriol their TROLLS spew.
The MORE they SPEW,…
the MORE terrified they are the of the Republican being able to beat
their Dumb-O-cRAT candidate.
Sarah Palin is the PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THIS,
as is Michele Bachmann.
Sarah Palin SCARES the we-we out of the
Leftwing-Nut, Libratard, Progressive, Dumb-O-cRAT Party,…
Because,..
Wait for it,…
They KNOW Sarah Palin IS electable,…
AND IF she runs against barry in 2012,…
She WILL CRUSH him with indisputable numbers.
(44 or 48 state, LANDSLIDE. Barry will MAYBE get
IL & MI plus possibly MA, Hawaii, NY, & CA)
So they MUST do EVERYTHING possible to DESTROY her
AND her supporters BEFORE this becomes too apparent.
Unfortunately for them, it seems the cats out of the bag,…
and it IS too late.
Thanks for fighting Wisconsin.
Sarah did great as always. She really got to me when she said, "What more can they say about us?" and everything after that. 2012!
Amazing speech – great, clear message and a very direct challenge to the left BUT Sarah Palin needs to get a voice coach ASAP! I know that substance matters more than style, but many potential voters will not listen to what Sarah Palin is saying because her voice is too abrasive, especially when she is really wound up.
She fights ON POINT…WE THE PEOPLE stand with her. Hear the Good News!
meow
Fantastic speech !!!
We need a thousand Sarah Palin's, a thousand Reagan's, millions of Tea Partiers..
Down with Statism.
Proclaim Liberty.
"Never Give up! Never Surrender!"
Seriously we need fighters not fence sitters!
I Agree 110%
Oh my god.
If that woman runs then Barack Obama will think he went through a wood chipper by the time the election rolls around.
She was ferocious.
Unfortunately, too many "conservatives" listen to the propaganda from the MSM and believe the lies. The level of hate and disinformation spewed, is directly proportionate to the candidate's threat to their side. Why else would someone demean that opposing candidate, if they think that candidate has no chance to win?
She put her arms around us in Madison today, lifted us up from the icy cold wet snow and lit a fire like no one else. Her courage is beyond commendable, and without a waiver, throw in a little humor, sincerity, and bolts with a dagger going right to Obama's weaknesses. All I can say is that the Repubs better have a summit and get their house in order and it better include Sarah, or they are not going to know what hit them…the way the left didn't see it coming last Nov and here in WI just a few weeks ago. John, great job describing her impact in Madison today. She was electrifying in the cracken' cold air, snow blowing and whipping her hair….just facing the storm without a flinch. You had to see it to really grasp what went down. The loonies on the perimeter used whistles, cow bells, nasty taunts and in your face conduct trying to pick a fight…she faced them down and more. Our of the belly of the beast, Madison WI, Sarah Palin winner takes all.
The Sass + The Stache = A very good future for America.
Unleash the Grizzly Bears…
Sorry if you don't like my comments but we live in a world where presentation matters! Ronald Reagan was a master at calmly getting his point across, often with humor. JFK "beat" Nixon in the debate because he looked better on television….I love Sarah Palin and strongly support her, but I am only saying what my husband and son have both said, repeatedly – her voice is too grating and they can't stand to listen to her.
She should watch some of Margaret Thatcher's old speeches – The Iron Lady was a master at being strong and decisive without getting "harpy" sounding. Let's face it – the MSM will be looking for ANYTHING they can use to bash Sarah Palin. If she can work on getting her pitch lowered and modulated, it's one less thing they can use against her.
I have to agree, the only minus I ever cite for Palin is her speech. The slight accent itself isn't so bad, but she has a strange, nasal inflection on the wrong syllables. She can subtly fix this with a good elocution coach. Where's Henry Higgens when you need him?
The left must be crapping blood. Sarah is too AMERICAN and it freaks the LSM and progressives out. They have nothing substantial to counter her, so let the attacks begin. This is going to get ugly.
"Learn how to fight like a girl" cooool.
Screw the left. We'll write the lexicon.
I wouldn't mind seeing Palin/West.
Without Hillary running (maybe she still will) where do the PUMAs stand w/Sarah,ya think?
It's time for her to pivot. She must give a coherent foreign policy speech that sets forth the principles of the Palin Doctrine (whatever that is) and then she has to brand it and contrast it to Obama, isolate him and then marginalize his foreign policy and the resulting failures. Then she has to give a coherent domestic policy speech and set forth the Palin Plan for Prosperity that provides a sound domestic strategy that can be backed by everyone who is not drinking the kool-aide. She has to get after it. This was a great speech and I give her credit for giving it but she has to come across now as sagacious or the MSM will just continue sniping.
I'm beginning to think that she could WIN. Now wouldn't THAT be a pie in the face of the anti-American, "progressive" trolls everywhere?
You read my mind.
Just to let you know, the picture that is painted in this blog post is not as rosy at it sounds. The film was very obviously carefully shot and sound-edited. If you notice, there is only a small portion of the crowd shown. That is because the tea party contigent was surrounded by thousands of pro-union wisconsin activists. Palin was pretty much drowned out her entire speech by the incredible boos that were raining down from her by the majority of the crowd. You will notice how nervous looking and discomfited she seems during a large part of her speech. It was a hostile environment and I am sure she is regretting showing up right at this moment., I did not envy any of the speakers today as that was a very difficult environment. The tea party better figure out a way to re-ignite its base, as that was a pathetic showing. It is clear her star power has diminished.
Going to agree with you on this one. Maybe if the PA was turned up a little so she didn't have to talk so loud it wouldn't be so bad. I realize the technique of building up a crowd with increased or exagerated speaking and gestures, but man it can get shrill. A coach would definately help.
I have to reluctantly agree, it has nothing to do with how much I respect her and what she stands for.
But Obama teaches us where style over substance gets us, although I can't stand his style either.
Palin has style and substance, if her voice is a little shrill sometimes it's understandable given what we're dealing with.
OK. I'm with you on the "presentation" thing. And if I were advising her campaign, I'd probably take that approach. BUT, as things are going in America, I would almost rather see an unaltered Sarah Palin take the scepter away for obama, just the way she is. That would drive the "left" over the cliff that they've wanted us to jump over ever since the immaculated one took office.
In short, if Sarah becomes our candidate, I'll support her with everytihng I have.
So, using your formula, the ideal ticket would be PALIN / BACHMANN.
Who knows how things will turn out, but think about it…
- Both women
- Both blunt-talking conservatives
- Both attractive-looking
This combination of things would cause an immediate epidemic of liberal-prog-radicals with exploding heads.
Wish I could have been there.
haha, hopelessly outnumbered, by at least 10-1, TPers whine about "obnoxious" pro-labor protesters.
Yes, such "poise and grace" in having to shriek her nonsensical speech to the few that were there to support her.
Were you there Jeff ?
hehehehehehehe
Little girl….you are just whistling past the grave yard….
Face it sweetie………you lost…
Hey, super magical mind reader. How are you "sure she is regretting showing up right at this moment."?
And I didn't "notice how nervous" she was. My opinion is that she made you so nervous you started seeing things.
But thanks for using your super powers of mind reading so you could give us all advise. We will all go on a fast for weeks to meditate, and contemplate this avalanche of wisdom you poured over us.
Incidentally, this is Jeff Blockhead's very first post on his "brand new" account.
WRONG Jeff. She showed up in the belly of the BEAST. And she never wavered. On a level playing field across the country, she would TROUNCE the little man-child-in-chief. With Ivy-League "nuance?" No. But instead with cold, hard Americanism. The only issue is the "astro-turf" opposition. And for that, we have only ONE solution;
We the People.
And WE will win.
She needs some help with her speech presentation. As with most women – she feels the need to speak loudly and at a high screech pitch despite the fact that there's a mike and PA.
That said I applaud her message!
Wow….game on indeed.
It's become quite clear that this woman has a destiny.
I only hope we have the courage to help her fulfill it.
I don't get it. Talk is cheap. She is in the public eye because of the biggest RINO the GOP has, John McCain. Is she willing to go against John McCain and stop illegal immigration? Is she going to say states do not have to support illegal immigrants?
When she does let me know and I will think about taking her seriously.
It's always incredible to see those who compliment Sarah — the only real conservative who ever takes it to Ebola — then turn around and say, "but I wanna see her as a kingmaker," or "I love her, but hope she doesn't run for president." Trolls, trolls, trolls.
Sure, like she's going to do all the heavy lifting and then hand the crown over to whomever the Beltway Establishment has deemed "his turn." Ha ha ha ha ha! They treat her like dirt, yet she's supposed to grovel to them. You trolls are pathetic. Either Go 'Cuda or Go Home. Palin 2012!
Sure, presentation can always be honed. And Reagan's professional background with delivery was a real asset in his political career. But this was a tough venue with all the crowd noise from hostile union protesters. Most importantly, Sarah Palin has the substance in spades.
Another compliment frequently paid to Reagan was that he was "comfortable in his own skin". That applies to Palin as well. She is genuine.
All substance aside, I sometimes find Obama's presentation grating. In his Oval Office addresses, he waves his hands around too much with unnecessary, awkward gestures. And when he's at the podium, he's got a habit of thumping his hands down in a way that gets picked up by the microphone, almost in a predictable cadence, which is distracting.
Presentation matters, but personally, I'm fed up with style-over-substance politicians.
Sarah has truly been our Joan of Arc….
Although her demise came at the hands of the church in her country, meraphorically speaking that could turn out to be the MSM in this case…Time will tell. By the way Joan was reviled for being a hayseed in France and was opposed by many other established factions in the county at the time as well, such as the King, and most of his generals. In fact she was pretty much supported by only the middle and lower class.
I pray to God she has a far different fate than the Maid of Orleans….
ummm, do i detect a bit of anger here from you guys? I was there , yes. And I was intending to point out some facts for you. I thought that some people here might be interested in what actually happened at the speech.
Let me point out again , there were literally hundreds of people on hand to hear Sarah Palin, and thousands to boo her. You can get angry about that if you like, but that is what actually happened.
I personally am not a democrat(nor a tea partier, for that matter). I was just trying to point out that there are some serious issues with tea party base if someone of her caliber in the movement can only draw a few hundred supporters to listen to her speech.
Choosing to ignore that information will only be a detriment to the movement if you are passionate about it.
And 'SavetheRepublic' – Settle down there – - of course that's my opinion – but believe me – – no one would want to have been on that stage in an environment like that. It was intense!
Hey Dhimmi11,
When you come off your bad acid trip, try to remember what happened last November. Now that's what is called being "hopelessly outnumbered."
Oooopps, somebody brought up reality…How are all those state legislators working out for you?
I know what your thinking. But its not time for thinking. We've got 17 months and we may be facing a Bayh/Clinton ticket before this whole deal is over.
She's doing just fine.
Do you see Mitt Romney at a podium in Wisconsin. In the rain? What he do with his hair?
She went. Thats enough for me.
As will I – my coments were only a suggestion because there are lots of independents who need to be won over by what she says (and I believe she can do it – because what she says just makes sense!) but first people have to be wiiling to listen to her….and right now, her speaking style gets in the way of her message!
"What we want first and foremost in our GOP standard-bearer is someone unafraid of the MSM, and who takes the fight directly to Obama"
Print this on a T shirt and send one to every last person who forms an exploratory committee. Include a note that says these are the minimum job requirements that their bosses (US!) expect. If they don't have the goods, get out of the race.
Ditto.
There are times when Palin's talking style makes me wince but not this time. The GOP for one needs to know that there is fire in the belly of tea party America. Madison has been a war zone and she was surrounded by a loud, foul mouthed rent-a-mob. She was rockin' and like it or not, this is Palin at her best.
We know that there was a loud, foul-mouthed rent-a-mob surrounding the event. Ho hum, what else is new. This speech is about way more than Madison politics and how many showed up on a cold, wet, windy day. I heard the speech just fine and her star power just shot up.
Like I said, if I were advising her campaign, I would make it a point to have her coached on tone, and cadence. But that's just me. I can also see the possibility that it would be her "natural" presentation that could take the stage away from obama's rehearsed repertoire. How the "independents" would vote might be an issue, but then again, they have already turned against obama. If our candidate doesn't "turn them on," it might not make any difference in the election. If just as many of them stay home over Sarah as stay home over obama, we win.
It is a gamble. But if the stakes are set at producing an "honest" candidate, I might just be ready to back a Palin candidacy.
BAM !! JohnAK hits the nail on the head.
"Her star power just shot up." Indeed it has.
Obnoxious *rented* pro-labor protesters.
Yep' all those "rent a mobs" UNION's bused in from around America, even as far away as Cali~ and you still lost! Karma is no one's friend, and it came back in bit you right in the @$$!
Wisconsin lost and Walker won. Sarah speech was spot-on,,,, as alway's"
The only way this could have gone to eleventy with me, after Andrew's kick-ass "go to hell" intro, and this dynamite speech from Palin, is if they had introduced Judge Prosser at the very end. Well done Madison, well done indeed.
P.S. John, your tweets prior to and during the speeches were very entertaining in a funny as hell kind of way. You'll be hard pressed to top your Judge Prosser tweets, but, you made a valiant effort today.
Wisconsin [Unions] lost and Walker won. Sarah speech was spot-on,,,, as alway's"
fixed.
Also, and this is ditected at unpronouncable11, your thousands of protesters would of course outnumber tea party supporters: a) they're the angry losers, so they have the motivation to brave the foul weather to throw their little tantrums, b) Tea party people have jobs and families, so I wouldn't expect to see hordes of them attending an event that didn't get a great deal of advance billing
She is a lot better then the dope pusher and his hooker ole lady making the whitehouse into a pig pen who has been flooding this country with hoods, gang bangers illegals, and rag heads.
Most presidents F up in 4 years where the little pri*ck obama is to the point people already want him and his kind thrown in jail then deported but even kenya does not want the camel humping obama gang.
LOL!
Here is a repost from over two weeks ago little girl…..
There are over five million people in this state….only two million live in Moscow er Madison and Milwaukee….
As your boifriend Mullah Obama said….."Elections have consequences"
Didi you forget November 2 already Beavis? The left had thier asses kicked….wost drubbing since 1938….
Dig it man….you are witnessing the greatest conservative ascendancy since Ronald Ray Gun boi……
Yeah… in spite of all that socialist and communist money, they could not buy a gig with the Wisconsin Supremes for the Bride of Frankenstein, she got stood up at the altar….
And there is more to come……You are about to learn how a republic works, state after state after state…..
I am convinced a majority of voting people here are aware this is truly a class war. This battle will be won through messaging. The battle lines are between the ruling class against the tax payers..
And the message is this; why should the middle class taxpayers of Ohio, Wisconsin or any state have to provide an artificially high and unsustainable lifestyle for government employees?
I live here and God willing we will prevail…
Give us the wealth…….Give us the wealth….
A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.
Thomas Jefferson
I just had to open an account and say that speech was one of the top 5,I have ever watched in politics.Wow that gals on fire and I sure hope those words Game On are on the side of her campain bus in 2012.No doubt in my mind she is running and she will ignite Americans off thier couches, either for or against Obama like no one else I can see out there can.It will truely be a boring 2012 race if she is not in it.Game On Obama gotta love that line! This is going to be one heck of a presidential campain.
This was one awesome speech! Sarah is definately the one candidate who can stick it to Obama and reconstitue the Reagan majority. Palin 2012!
"There were literally hundreds of people on hand to hear Sarah Palin, and thousands to boo her."
Thank you for pointing that out, Jeff. You've just given me one more reason to support her for President in 2012. If she decides to throw her hat in the ring, I was going to make my first-ever political contribution of $100, but now I think I'll make it $200.
You trolls are the best fund-raisers ever!
X
Thankyou CheG.
Pathetic.
That's the best you got? The speech seemed pretty good to me, not a lot of "ummm" and Uhhh"s" like some great orators I can think of.
As to crowd size, you have over 100,000 students and union members within 15 minutes of the square, and it was the first day of Farmers Market, always a big draw down there.
Frankly, I think you should be ashamed by the small crowd considering the resources you have in the area.
You loser hippies in Madison just keep getting your asses kicked and you keep coming back for more, don't you Jeff? You lost BIG in November, your tantrum got you NOTHING with the teachers' union vote, and even with your vile smears against Justice Prosser and an angry, fired up minority you still couldn't pull off a win on an April court election when nobody except anybody who gives a sh!t should show up, YOU STILL LOST!
Now here comes Sarah Palin into Madison, to kick you while your down after you've gotten your asses kicked for months, and you still show up on a nasty day to boo her then come here to preen that the Tea Party crowd wasn't sufficient enough size for you hippie Madison douchebags. How many more times will we have to beat you retards before you begin to figure it out?
You really should work on your lying skills, Jeffy boy. I watched the entire clip, and the camera cut away a few times to SHOW the union opponents. Hey, but don't let the facts get in the way of your narrative, right?
"learn to fight like a girl … and speaking of president obama"
nicely played
"God has shed His grace on thee"
This is greatness!
She has the courage, knowledge and integrity to say it and do it. She pisses the left off like no other, the state run-media hates her, but loves to try to smear her, SHE IS THE TRUTH AND THE REAL DEAL. She is a gift and blessing to ALL Americans, even to the just the left who hates her like no other. Love or hate her, it's people like Sarah Palin that make this country work as it has been working for hundreds of years, it's people like Ms. Palin that separate themselves from the rest of the drones and career politicians. It's her pedigree that declared independence, went to war to build and create this great country, established our Constitution, freed the slaves and made everyone born here equal with the same opportunities. She is truly a blessing! I enjoy the fireworks show during and after her speeches. GOD BLESS HER!
What Alaskans have been saying for years-dont mess with Sarah Barricuda! She DOES kick ass and take names! My bets are for her to win, and shes not bad to look at, either!
Even the libs admit that!
Jeff, for the sake of argument, let's assume for the moment that your description is accurate. So, Governor Palin voluntarily marches in front of a large, jeering crowd of union activists in ground-zero Wisconsin, and delivers a no-holds barred speech full of blunt truths.
That diminishes her "star power" how??
I think you fundamentally misunderstand the appeal of the governor and her message.
Guess I was paying more attention to what she said than how she said it.
Actually Jeff B's report made my opinion of Ms. Palin's delivery go up because she clearly managed to deliver a solid speech to a hostile crowd. Her voice was a bit shrill in spots, but I'd blame that at least in part on how the sound system was set up. So I applaud Ms. Palin for going to Madison. I'm trying to think of a comparable feat for our Teleprompter Reader-in-Chief, but I can't because Republicans tend to be more polite than Democrats.
Palin was wonderful … these twits not so much http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7l-pEBYeLI (Viewer Discretion Advised)
Somebody send you over to reaffirm the lies?
How much is MeDiA mAtTerS paying these days?
Look, i'm sorry your love slave lost to Prosser.
I really am. Quite the looker, thought (…….yack).
So tell me:
Why with all this swelling support didn't your Marxist beat Prosser?
Hmmm……? MeDIa maTerS is paying you what?
You have a good point, but I think most people would rather have a scratchy-voiced prez who obeys the Constitution than a silken-voiced con man who doesn't.
I have goosebumps after that speech. LIBERAL, BE AFRAID. HAAAA!!!
So, there were a lot of boo-birds at the rally. They still couldn't stop Palin from opening a can of whoop-@ss on them! LOL!
I am laughing out loud at some of the responses to my earlier posts. You guys are just hilarious! You know, I thought those lefty liberals were reactionary and hard to have an intelligent conversation, but it appears that the reactionary right-wing crew that posts on this blog forum has them beat. For the sake of the conservative movement, I sure hope that the folks in charge do not descend to the level of sticking-your-fingers-in-your ears-i-can't-hear-u that most of these posts seem to be. Seems to me, that if you really want to convince others that your opinion is correct, try engaging in an intelligent dialogue instead of bashing with ideological fervor. That is not going to win you any converts, certainly isn't doing anything for a middle-of-the-roader such as myself who is willing to be swayed.
Seriously, it is somewhat strange that the main response to my turnout facts is 'I don't care'. It seems that tea party supporters better care if they expect to continue to win elections. It's showing signs of a dying movement when a high profile event like this fails to attract.
Actually, she has been doing much better. You can hardly count the way she sounded at this particular speech since she was standing in the pouring rain, out shouting the union thugs (BTW, some of them joined in cheering her before she was done talking), and speaking into an inexpensive microphone rented by the TEA party group and from a couple of notecards….NO TELEPROMPTER! So let's wait until we hear her under better circumstances before we start whining about her voice, because if her voice alone would stop someone from voting for her…PALIN is not the one with the real problem!
