Bill O’Reilly: We Demand a Statement From FBI on WeinerGate By Tomorrow (Video)
by Jim HoftBill O’Reilly told his viewers tonight that he will demand that the FBI offer a statement to his show tomorrow on the Weinergate “hacking” incident.
His panel tonight did not believe Weiner’s claim that his twitter account was hacked.
Bill O’Reilly:
If a hacker is coming in and able to breach security of a sitting Congress person, it’s a big deal. I don’t care what picture’s involved… I want the FBI to tell the American public, and tomorrow I’m going to insist, what they’re doing about this… Even if he doesn’t file, it’s at the level now that the FBI has to come in and clarify. Tomorrow with all due respect Mr Muller, the head of the FBI, we want a statement from you. With all due respect.

Run or not run, Governor Palin is a force, she is shrewd, and she is genuine.
A dilemma for any sober presidential candidate is that part of any genuine solution is letting certain things get worse — much worse– so they can get better. It is necessary. And it is impossible to sell. Our markets have ingested so much financial dreck, the toxins need to be allowed to get projectile-puked out to accelerate healing. A little bit like Volker taking interest rates up to 20% and the economy into deep recession under Reagan in the early 80s, to kill inflation and set the stage for prolonged growth.

That was the most refreshingly candid statement I have heard from any actual or potential presidential candidate.

Almost every day of the week Weiner is on TV with righteous indignation about one thing or another, whether it's Gold Line or Justice Thomas or whatever else. He's one of the most despicable individuals in D.C., and he's slowely passing Chuck Schumer for that title in NY. He deserves everything he gets, and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Bill O'Reilly is right on target on this one. Weiner needs to learn that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. You simply cannot go around claiming that you have been hacked on Twitter and that has resulted in a lewd photo being sent to an unsuspecting woman in a case that is vital to "national security" as a cover for his actions. It is a blatant abuse of power and is unfair to his constituents, who have every right to ask questions.

O'Reilly was terrified of getting assigned a tin foil hat, so he wouldn't seriously investigate Obama's two forged birth certificates, falsifying documents, skirting the Constitutional requirements and perpetrating fraud on the American people, but….. Weinergate – he'll INSIST the FBI do something, on "coincidences" involving Weiner's hacked Twitter.
Weiner has to file a complaint before the FBI can take action. He is the (alleged) crime victim. If he chooses not to file, everyone in the world can demand the FBI do something and they don't have to.
Totally agree– she's running a 21st century campaign (at least, I hope it is?) and the rest have been left in the dust this week. Even better, I can guarantee that every MSM outlet REALLY wants to get on that bus and they now have to play nice to do so.

I'm surprised that "Twitter" folks are not up in arms defending their security measures, policies, etc. With celebrities, congressmen, etc. using Twitter this could directly impact confidence in their product offering and use.
I agree with you on one point. This is a distraction that is taking away from the real issues that should be covered. This administration loves distractions like birth certificates, etc. because then people aren't talking about the continued unemployment and economic issues facing the nation.
However, if a sitting Congressmen is proven to be lying to the press and people…. er…. Did I just describe 90% of all the politicians in Washington?

I don't think it's petty at all. While there are bigger issues than this louse doing what he did, it doesn't mean that we should move on without dealing with what he did. Furthermore, since he is one of the 536 people (435 reps, 100 senators, 1 president) charged by the people with dealing with the problems. That makes his actions more significant than if you or I sent the photo to a 21-y.o. student in Seattle.
Not really. The Weiner issue didn't start poking up until Friday night, and Monday was a Bill O repeat "best of" show because of the Holiday. So Tuesday night was his first chance to go hard on the story and give it the stroke it deserved.

What I look forward to the most is her wiping the floor with him in direct debates. John McCain may not have wanted to bring up guns or illegal immigration (much less OIL) but Sarah will talk about all three even if media tries to dodge those questions, especially the first two topics, as it did last Presidential election cycle.

Of course, you know my concern. It's the media and pop culture that knows how to marginalize and destroy the best people among us.
The truth is, we CANNOT lose this election. So, can we overcome the "negatives" the media will throw at Sarah? It's a serious question. Personally, I think we can. But we'd better be sure before we go down that road.

I'm pretty sure that is wrong. Hacking a communication account of a politician has the potential to affect nationaly security. It is the FBI's responsility to look into this whether the offended requests it or not.
