Obama Sniper Teams Ordered to Rooftops To Quash Radical Tea Party Protest (Video)

On Wednesday Team Obama called in the riot squad to deal with the Quincy Tea Party patriots outside the the Oakley-Lindsey/Quincy Community Center.
Team Obama ordered the riot police to march in and contain the violent tea party protesters.
They didn’t want any violence from these mobsters and radicals.
The police were in full riot gear when they marched in to deal with the protesters.
But, that’s not all.
They also called the riot police to the rooftops to quash the tea party mob.

They were packing heat, just in case the grandmothers started throwing bingo chips at the building.

Yet another attempt to paint the tea parties in the negative.
Truly chilling. There is also a Army Brigade at Ft. Stewart, GA. who are training in preparation, the 1/3, for responding to social unrest in America in the fall. I feel there is something afoot, and I have never felt fear of my government before. But the way Obama and the Progressive/Socialist are following the Revolutionary playbook, I can see it conceivable that an incident would be staged and unleash the troops. I asked a soldier the other day how many soldiers would fire on citizens, he answered "about 50%". Scary stuff, dudes.
This is just flat out an abuse of power. It reeks of turning the tanks on your own people.

Obama is going on the presumption that all protestors are like him and would use violence if necessary to achieve a goal.

Sniper teams or counter sniper teams follow the President pretty much everywhere. I lived in Kissimmee, FL when Clinton was in office. He landed across the street from my school to tour some tornado damage and there were sniper teams on the roof of the community college where his helicopter touched down. It's standard practice.
The riot gear parade isn't but that's another issue entirely.
Move these troops down to the Arizona border.

It's not the fault of the police. It's the fault of 52% of American voters who backed the wrong horse out of a misplaced sense of racial justice or just plain ignorance.
I couldn't imagine being a police officer and being put in the position to keep an eye on this "mob." Some security is certainly warranted, but a presence so visible and heavy handed? The balance between the potential threat and the appropriate security measures is way out of whack.

Sniper teams are part of the Secret Service detail – the Obama team called in the locals for a horse-and-pony show on this one.

I will admit to being totally afraid of Grandma, on occasion. However, THIS was not the look she had on her face at those times.
And, there were times that I had to dodge out of Dad's way when he was on a tear, on his motorized "wheelchair". But, I guarantee, that while he was in top vocal form, he wasn't singing "God Bless America".
Really? Did they think that calling in the "riot police" would incite the violence that has heretofore been absent from Tea Party rallies? Yeah…they probably did- since that is what happens during lefty rallies when the riot gear is donned.

One normally doesn't take video of presidential security. That type of thing could get one arrested, at least during the Bush years. When Bush came to the Republican convention in New York city a few years ago — there was a heck of a lot more security than this, much of Penn Station was closed for several days.
To Axion, it was also police who protected the killing of Terry Schiavo. It is their fault-I wouldn't do it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the November 2010 elections aren't going to happen. There will be a "crisis" manufactured by the White House and the nation will have to "delay" the elections "indefinately" until the "situation" is resolved.

These are just USSS observers (even if you did see them with long rifles), probably there for a laugh at the "riot" or to see what the Tea Party's reaction would be to the increased police presents. The snipes were positioned long before you all got there and I doubt you saw them (if you did then they need to go back to training).

I was on Capital Hill on March 20 & 21, the night freedom died and the Health Care Bill was passed over the will of the people by bribes and deals.
The Tea Party was very well behaved. The issue of race never came up. We did not want a government controlled healthcare system like that tried and found wanting in so many countries. We did not want our country saddled with ever increasing debt. We did not like our representatives being unresponsive to the expresses will of those who they are supposed to represent.
Soon after word came that there were charges that some had hurled racial slurs, charges that later were shown to be false, a new sign appeared, asking that any such people be photographed and their pictures be posted on line to shame them. We would have done it too had we seen such behavior. We did not.

One of the capital police was rude in harshly ordering people off the steps. We obeyed and no one reacted in kind. All other capital police were polite. Some young pro-bill protesters marched back and forth thru our group followed by one with a camera. No one took the bait. The Tea Party didn’t even litter.
I did see one sign with a crude word at another rally. He was asked not to use that sign and he complied.
That’s our way. We express our beliefs but do not tolerate rudeness or violence. We obey the rules. We leave the place clean and litter free. It’s our nation’s capital. We treat the grounds with respect.

I respectfully disagree. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! He already knows he's unpopular, so no harm done there. What he accomplished was two fold (as is usually the case with conniving schemers):
1.) He got this image of intimidation in front of the entire world. It says "Don't test me. I'll go there."
2.) It paves the way for future scenes like this to be more readily accepted by the public when the real order comes down.
It also served as a loyalty test for the troops. Additionally, it plants the subliminal message in people's minds that there "must be something wrong with these Tea Party People". Why else would something like this be necessary?

That's funny. I saw President Clinton speak in Seattle and there were armed guards around the stage, not outside the venue, way across the parking lot, and a block or two up the street. But you learn something new every day, I guess.
Maybe POTUS called them in to help deal with the bus load of SEIU he knew were coming at his behest but in the end didn't need them as the bus broke down and none would lend a hand as that wasn't in their job description? Better that than he merely staged another photo op.

The TEA party protests (the astroturf ones, not he genuine ones started by Ron Paul supporters) are a recent thing, a political thing orchestrated by Freedomworks lobbying group and Fox News hacks in the last year. Notwithstanding your lack of reference, protests by your broad and nebulous term "American left" (I'm guessing antiwar) have been going on much longer and were much bigger than the current TEA party astroturf.

*Shrugs* The riot gear was clearly excessive (given the peaceful history of tea party protests, I don't see why anyone thought it would be needed), but contrary to the claims of the writer of the article, it doesn't look like the police tried to quash the protests. Also, I didn't see the sniper team the author mentioned in the photos or the footage.
The photos themselves are alarming, there was no need for the writer to indulge in sensationalism.
Your current POTUS is all about the theatre. This was just one more piece of it. You're luck he didn't toss in another child play the part of a victim being assaulted by grannies. I'm still in shock those instances were allowed to fall by the way side rather than being followed up on by your media. In Canada that would have spelled the end of things for the Prime Minister.
