After Harry Reid Supporters Attacked the Tea Party Bus
Searchlight, Nevada
Andrew Breitbart witnessed first hand today the cunning manipulation and violence of the unhinged left. Harry Reid supporters stood on Highway 95 outside of Searchlight, Nevada and held signs steering tea party protesters heading to the Tea Party Express Showdown in Searchlight Rally in the wrong direction. Andrew also witnessed these violent leftists attacking the Tea Party Express bus with eggs as it drove by. The Harry Reid supporters then swarmed him, harassed him, threatened him and made false statements to the police.
And, yet the state-run media wants you to believe that the tea party protesters are the violent ones. Don’t look for this protest story to make the front page of The New York Times or be the lead story on CNN like other bogus protest reports.

While they covered Palin's appearance, with prominent mention of the Teaparty protestors, the only mention of threats or violence was yet another reference to the mythical events which DID NOT HAPPEN almost a week earlier. Gee, I can't imagine why their credibility continues to fade….

As to the coverage: what does anybody expect from the MSM? If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. If you want honest coverage of an event, film it and put it up on the internet. Hire some professional photographers and producers to follow these events and put them up for everybody to see. We can see how far complaining about this has gotten us.

I was at Searchlight yesterday and it was a totally peaceful event. At least it was peaceful at the Tea Party. Maybe in town where the Reid supporters were it was different. I was there but not until about 11am on Saturday morning. There were a lot of signs in support of Harry Reid most of them sticking in the ground. I got some photos of a 'reid supporter' being told to remove his signs from someone's property, I will post them on my blog later today (it's been a long 48 hours). It was so pathetic to see a handful of people, probably being paid $10 an hour cash to hold up signs saying they support Harry Reid. As we go closer there was a sign that said, oh crumbs what did it say? I have a picture of it, I'll put that up later as well. Something about the Tea Party forcing a Socialist Republic. It was an oxymoron of some sort. Searchlight looks like a Hoovervillem, if you don't know what that is, google it.

Both of the environments were essentially frat house politics. Slightly more virtuous than drawing a paycheck paid by forced taxes? true – virtuous? No, no they do not get it. I have spent far too much time trying to get into the heads of these loons. What part of 'our debt is unsustainable' do they not get? Even some of the people I was with on our side of the cause did not seem to understand that if the system collapses, which it will ($20 trillion in 10 years is NOT sustainable by anyone's lineage) and when it collapses we will either need to recapture the Republic or surrender it to the Socialists. Some of our 'own kind' could not fathom this, they assume that once we vote out the Dems life will return to normal. No, we need to stop spending yesterday.
