The far left absolutely freaked over this non-issue rather than focus on her brilliant speech knocking the Obama Administration’s horrid record on economics and national defense.
Today Sarah fired back…
She wrote “Hi Mom!” on her palm during her campaign stop with Governor Rick Perry of Texas.

I'm going to have to tilt and agree with you. There are tons of executive orders and stuff going on behind the scenes that don't even go through the house or senate. All this fundamental changing is happening right before our eyes… and yet most Americans are too busy to notice? In 8 years i'll be 30, and God knows life will be different for me then. People have to stand up now while there is still time. Blah blah most of you guys chant this stuff already.

I was at the Berry Center today. Perry was saying that Texas is doing just fine and he will continue to do the same. Unfortunately for me, the same ain't good enough. I have been unemployed for 9 months now and jobs in the oil industry are a joke. Companies are doing better though, they're now paying you half what you got before the depression. I also see something missing from the border and my taxes are going up in the near future. I love Sarah, wish she didn't stand by these men (Perry / McCain), it lowers her stature and creates questions about her motives. I am going to take a chance on Medina – she is Palin before Perry. Perry is a Democrat, he just calls himself a Republican. I have lived in Texas for over twenty years and he has done a lot of damage to the state. I had to write a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to get someone who spoke English well enough to answer my question. Like a lot of the school boards in Texas the TWC is importing Mexican workers to handle the phone lines because the Hispanics here speak American Spanish not Mexican Spanish.
He is a big supporter for illegal immigration because those are his voters.

I think you're referring to the speech on Saturday where she was explaining her policies and glanced down at her hand which was to view her "notes". As a person known for doing the same I do it for things that I needed to jot down in a hurry without any available paper to be found; however, what bothers me the most about the note on the hand issue is that it's clear the incident on Saturday was done in reference to her viewpoints, something she should know in her heart and not need "notes" on.
What this *could* be a sign of is that she's letting herself be influenced by a more populist movement to which would explain why she had the "crib notes" as rightbrian claims thus Sara had to note down what responses would gain the most influence with the crowd on Saturday.

I claimed nothing, I used quotations around crib notes because that's how "Dave" referred to them.
Personally, I don't think "crib notes" is accurate, hence I used quotation marks to indicate I didn't agree with that characterization.
Instead, I think they were last minute ideas she scribbled on her hand.
Note the difference in legibility between the "Hi Mom!" and the "crib notes", it's telling and I think it supports my thoughts.
As far as being concerned about why she "needed" them, I thnk you're reading too much into it.

Kerry did not release his transcript either, though I believe that he did release his grade point average after the campaign. Neither did Clinton or Bush1 or Reagan.

It is very possible for a woman that barely graduated community college to be more intelligent than someone who graduated from Harvard Law School. My brother does horribly in college because he just doesn't stay focused or apply himself. However he is extremely intelligent. I also am very intelligent and didn't get the best grades because I just didn't do as much work as I should have on assignments. Honestly their are all sorts of intelligence and many different reasons people do or do not do well in school. To attribute this to just intelligence or lack there of is oversimplifying things.
I don't know whether or not she is more intelligent, but I wouldn't conclude one way or another based simply on school attended and grades earned while there. And do you know what grades Obama recieved in school? Because I certainly haven't heard one way or another what his GPA was.
I used to write random things on my hand to help me remember certain things when speaking or that I had to do later. What one writes does not always directly indicated what he/she meant to say. It could just be a phrase that would trigger a specific though, or words to help keep her on topic. Who knows? And I don't know why it matters anyway. I don't have a problem with Obama using the teleprompter either, although he does overuse it. Why is one so much more allowable than the other?
I do believe that Sarah Palin will be far more important and have more influence on the political dialogue if SHE DOES NOT SEEK THE PRESIDENCY, even though she has the potential to be a super one who will articulate the real issues for the people. However, the media would never, ever give her a break. What they did to "W" would be hands off compared to what they would do to her. I would suggest you look more closely at why she gave up her Governorship. She was bombarded with lawsuits. They were taking all her time and costing millions of dollars. She simply could not afford to stay. So she left the state in good hands, wrote a book to get out of debt and has set about doing what shr thinks is good for America.
Obama has posted the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and the facts on it were confirmed twice by the two top officials of the DoH of Hawaii, who are members of a Republican governor's administration.
Re the money spent. There has never been a case against Obama just for his birth certificate or just for documents. All the lawsuits before the election (the vast majority of them) were to stop the election. Most of the lawsuits after the election were to stop the Electoral College from voting, stop the confirmation of the election by Congress or stop the Inauguration.
As for his LSATs, law school grades, etc. They would be nice to have, but there is no law that says that a president has to reveal them, and most presidents do not. The Rezko issue was raised during the campaign, and we voted for Obama anyway/
