That Didn’t Take Long… ABC Reporter Attacks National Tea Party Convention Leaders During Press Conference

The presss conference was packed today at the National Tea Party Convention but not everyone acted like they were glad to be there.
The media elites could only sit on their hands for so long. After biting his lip for twenty minutes New York-based ABC reporter John Berman ripped into the National Tea Party Convention leaders at their press conference today.
John was visibly upset after attending former Rep. Tom Tancredo’s speech last night at the conference. Instead of confronting Tancredo, Berman attacked the organizers of the event and demanded they speak for the former representative. Berman also attacked organizer Mark Skoda for not listing the names of the board members of a newly formed organization after Skoda said he would have the names listed by the end of the week… Funny, Berman’s never been this hard on Team Obama?

Time to start going after these people. After all of the vicious and unfounded attacks we've endured recently, I'd hardly call this an attack. We all know going in to these events that the MSM is not going to give us a fair shake. When the MSM is truly unfair, like how they treated James O'Keefe, then let's call them on it. However, when a reporter acts like a reporter, answer the questions and move on. Mark, the speaker, should have just said, "I don't speak for Tom. He's free to state his opinions and I support his right to do so. Next question?" If we cry "Wolf!" too many times, then nobody will listen to us or take us seriously.

I think America is not like the Liberal Left OR the Fervent Right. I think most people are simply curious as to why there is no progress in Washington by either side. Unfortunately, Republicans cannot allow the Democrats to accomplish anything for fear of it succeeding in any way, and Democrats cannot shore up nervous purple state candidates in advance of midterms. It is shameful protectionism by both parties. The country can rot as long as the scenario sets your party up for a good election cycle. Perhaps a third party would put pressure on the other two to re-examine their relationship with the voting public.

I watched the News Conference on PJTV.COM. We can expect the MSM to attack the Tea Party as they have all year. the next year or so for this movement will be very telling. it's likely that there will be a centralization of 'control' for the movement, which will give a central target for the fringe media to aim at. this is a very real movement – very powerful and those the smart politician will simply marvel at it, and make no attempt to make it their own.

Tom Tancredo’s comment about the civic literacy of Obama voters, and that Obama is a Socialist is true. He presented a seemingly blank slate with an amorphous style, allowing the gullible among us to believe 'hope and change' meant what ever they wanted it to mean.(There were as many interpretations of those two words, as there were people hearing them.) We now see what that wrought us.

When you completely vilify the other side – "liberal socialist pigs" or "moron conservative racists" – there can be no intelligent debate. We must accept the fact that nobody is right 100% of the time. Different viewpoints are a good thing, it's what makes life interesting. If your idea can withstand rigorous, well thought out debate with the most skeptical of opponents, then maybe you are on to something. But if you have to resort to calling the other side names, then we all lose.
I think you should have some kind of proof that you're at least rudimentally informed…..and that you have a stake in our government (as in – pay taxes!!!)…..in order to have the privelidge to vote.
