With Scott Brown, America Chose the Pickup Truck Over the Prius
by Jim HoftLater today Scott Brown will be sworn in as the 41st Republican in the United States Senate.
He is on his way to Washington DC right now with certificatation in hand.
One of the many players who contributed to Scott Brown’s victory is Ken Pittman from WBSM in Massachusetts. Ken interviewed Democrat Martha Coakley the week before the Massachusetts election. It was during this interview that Martha told Ken that if you object to abortion and are a devout Catholic then…
“You probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.”
That was the wrong answer.
Ken sent me this article last night that he wrote on this historic Massachusetts election:
America Chose the Pickup Truck Over the Prius
In what has to be the most important non-presidential election race in many decades, Scott Brown won a most unlikely race in the state bluer than Frank Sinatra’s eyes, Massachusetts. So much weighed on the outcome outside of our state that the RNC finally heeded to the desperate cries for help from those of us here who have fought behind the enemy lines, praying for the cavalry for a half century.
On Tuesday night, January 19th 2010 at the Boston Park Plaza, I felt something like what the fictitious shipwrecked character Robinson Crusoe must have felt after seeing a mast come over the horizon for the first time.
To his credit (as a politician) it is clear that Senator Ted Kennedy was the glue that bonded the cohesiveness of this impenetrable synergy of liberal progressiveness in Massachusetts. With his death it appears that many notes were paid off. Allegiances broke and rival camps formed within the same party. Ted never allowed that on his watch.
While all that is true, it cannot alone explain what we witnessed last Tuesday. Governing from the left as Massachusetts has been doing, has built an under the radar, untapped resentment that never worked as a collaborative. The resistance has always been poorly articulated, fragmented and apparently unaware of the alliances that never formulated.
Never, that is until around Christmas of 2009. A little known state senator from the almost forgotten political party called Republican campaigned tirelessly in town after town building support in liberal working class cities as well as bedroom community towns. Scott Brown didn’t fear the 30 point lead his opponent Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley enjoyed and enjoy she did.
Coakley’s abysmal campaign came with as many errors as Brown’s came with momentum.
The week she took off between Christmas and New Year’s Day will be discussed in poli-sci classes for many years to come and I believe there to be a story behind that worthy of investigating. Some will say the Christmas Eve vote on healthcare by the senate caused a backlash. Was it an antagonistic move against the Christian right by secular progressives? Was it the Christmas Day bombing attempt over Detroit by an al Qa’eda pawn? Was this a reminder of how Democrats in the 1990s ignored national security threats made by radicals? I think all of the above may be in the equation.
Martha Coakley antagonizing devout Catholics, if not all those of moral principle, with her remarks about who should and shouldn’t be working in emergency rooms revealed a radical in the candidate that really didn’t plan on showing that side of herself until the 20th of January. Calling an ace pitcher of the Boston Red Sox “another Yankee fan” was a tad unwise. Curt Schilling? Accusing that local hero who helped to deliver the first World Series championship for Boston in 86 years wasn’t classic strategy for most observing pundits.
However, living in Massachusetts broadcasting from Barney Frank’s district on the south coast qualifies me to say that all of the above still doesn’t explain what happened.
The lesson which must be learned is that when the ideological pendulum swings hard, right or left, it also comes back with a lot of momentum. Republicans need to learn this truth as well. If the agenda of those governing isn’t executed and articulated successfully , the governed will eventually turn on the plan and the planners.
The ideological bigotry which plagues this nation is hamstringing progress and prosperity but the corruption and demonization by opponents clouds this problem by filling the room already on fire with thick, choking black smoke.
Scott Brown is a man who naturally migrates toward conservative ideals but is thoughtful enough to be inclusive for those who care about political issues yet disagree with his specific path. This has produced in Massachusetts a man who has designed a truly centrist platform.
He doesn’t shy away from disrobing the radical left’s plans but doesn’t visibly side with the conservatives in any monolithic fashion (the key word was visibly if you are wondering).
As a result we are seeing a dream realized here that only months ago seemed years away.
President Obama’s candy coated promises have produced bitter results and the veil seems to have been lifted. The trance has been broken. The instrument is Scott Brown. The people have decidedly chosen to side with the candidate who calls for sterner treatment of enemy combatants and who is sending the healthcare plans back to the kitchen. Martha Coakley ran on the Obama agenda of nationalized healthcare and climate change.
Democrats have made a potential fatal error politically in not identifying the mainstream movement dubbed “The Tea Parties”. It is nothing close to fringe. They have decided to apply the ‘us against them’ tactic and find themselves on the threshold of obscurity. To this day, they don’t seem able to identify this.
Give Scott Brown credit though. He is a disciplined attorney. A JAG in the Army Reserves with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He has climbed the political ladder one rung at a time and is an experienced legislator. He is also the candidate who redirected the conversation from the clenches of an heir apparent opponent. National security, the economy and healthcare became his issues and not hers. He never got off message like so many can and often do once they get momentum.
Americans in Massachusetts have chosen the guy in his truck who tried to earn their vote and asked for it and they or should I finally say “WE” have shown the door to the Prius driving elitist who felt entitled to their votes with the promise of pushing through Obama’s agenda.

my oldman always told me growing up, "son you can always earn money with a truck! everyone needs a truck!"
you keep your 30,000 toxic battery driven hybrid you need to drive for atleast 10 years to break even on gas in! I'll keep my truck!
god bless America!
Good Luck Senator Brown, do us proud!!!
Maybe now RED Harry Reid will stop trying to push through Bills that can not be read becuase they have not been written. Perhaps not increasing the debt until cuts are approved and a whole raft of other things. We are placing a heavy load on Senator Brown but will send help in November to Remember!! BYE BYE RED
Scott Brown looks and act like an average NORMAL American. We don't need people who drives BMW, Mercedes Benz, wear expensive clothing, go to expensive salons with our money in DC. And there are more like Brown to come.
One day- one day- we will see a Prius with a Palin 'drill baby drill' sticker on it…
Instead of the endless Obama/Biden stickers that weren't factory equipment contrary to popular opinion. Dumb, overpriced cars that have ni/cad batteries that are hugely polluting (silver mining particularly) and cost more to operate over their life than a base Corolla. Cars for self-obseesed liberal twerps.
Scott Brown, on the other hand drives a real car- a pickup. Nice, sturdy frame on construction, don't break, easier on the environment than the hybrids (see above) and manly to boot.
No contest…
by the way this is a really great really objecive fair view of the sitution!
i really like this article and the way it is written if only all journalism is as fair as this maybe one day we can have hope!
im watching news now waiting to see scott seated and for the first time in my life i am truly exitied about politics and it feels like i have rose up from my home the littl person who doesn't have much voice yet everyone has banded like me to right something we see wrong to select another path to achiving sucess!
I'm so excited i hope N.H. or CT get a good canidate maybe I'll travel acroos statelines and volenteer a couple of my days to force a new path back to the foundations to reverse the power flow to be from the bottom to the top like it should be!
he's going to need a bigger truck to haul off all the trash in d.c.
Off topic – anyone just see the close in the market – down 270 points and hitting 10K….pay attention and watch the 401Ks and IRAs everyone.
OK – whew, closed 2 points above 10K, guess we are out of the woods now! /sarc

hehe the libs been usising and playing the race card for a while now its time the republicians fight back with brown / rice 2012! I think condeleeza was the probowl player that went unnoticed during the last administration!
and america needs a humble pie everyones man yet stands with certain beliefs style politician to get behind! go look for any really bad scandals for brown you won't find anything without making a silly spin! he is a great canidate with no skeletons to hide! all they can find is a 22 yr old brown in a cosmo getting complemeted on his looks and he drives a truck lol if this isnt a good canidate i don't know what one is!
Let's not go too far now. Americans guys already have trouble with fashion as it is. No need to encourage it.
And I'm not too sure an average american would have embarrassed his daughters like that. (Well, embarrassed them and lived afterward.) So while I'm glad Brown won, let's not get too carried away here. Otherwise we'll end up with the usual situation: Republicans who say one thing and do another. You know, a bit like Obama has with the Democrats. Conservatives are smarter…. Right?
So true…I've seen you post about your CTS-V………….Best of both worlds with your car, Power and Economy……….Drove an 09 CTS-V for about a week and, when I wasn't trying to push the vertical pedal throught the floor, it managed a very respectable 28 mpg on the highway….Not bad for 500+ horsies….
and……….from what I understand nickel mining is one of the "most enviromently destructive" forms of mining!?
My impression of Scott Brown thus far is that he is quick on his feet with answers. He doesn't seem to carefully guage what he is saying based on how it will be perceived. Regardless of differences of opinion on some issues, one gets the feeling that he speaks his mind without it being ran through some talking points filter. Say what you mean and MEAN what you say.
(Take that truck with you to DC, it could come in handy to deal with the loads of B*ll Sh** there.)
If the Progressives really knew anything about this country and the people in it besides trying to fashion it into some Utopian Shangri-la. They'd know never to knock people who drive pick-up trucks . Those people are called Americans. One would think they might of heard of them. I guess they didn't take that class or maybe they don't teach it in those Ultra- Liberal Ivy League Colleges. That's OK .We the People will take them to school.
The environmentalists I usually ran into always had some sort of piece of junk car that looks like its last smog check was before I was born. There apparently isn't a lot of money for people who's life consists of a "cause".
I love my truck!!
I have seen that truck a few times in our town, Scott lives the next town over from mine. It needs a wash and wax. Other than that, it a hrad working truck.
Damn it, I was opening all my 1099's a couple days ago, occurred to me I ought to sell everything &
take the cap gn hit, just to eliminate another source of aggravation from my life. When you have a
thought, follow through.
Amen! We certainly need someone like Scott Brown out here in California…
wow- an '09- yikes…
the one sittin garound here is an '05 with ONLY 400 ponies. Good for you! Yep, nickle mining require a LOT of water, and it pollutes the groundwater with heavy metals. Toxic, too. And disposing of them is kind of like spent nuclear fuel rods- what to do, what to do…
Someone looked at the environmental impact of a Prius and figured over 10 years a Hummer- not an H2 or H3 but a real live Hummvee has less impact on the environment.
Vanity has it's costs…
Sorry to get off topic but I think Carly Fiorino is taking her clues from Scott with this new attack:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yo7HiQRM7BA
boston: before you get on the Rice bandwagon, read up on her articles & interviews since leaving
office. At this moment I can't recall details, however I have heard something that left a bad taste
for me, as I am also an admirer of hers. I just remember thinking, wow she is a true professional,
to be able to lay aside her personal convictions to work for Bush. I apologize for not being able to
remember specifics.
And it's a damn good thing Sen. Brown doesn't drive a Prius. The accelerator might have gotten stuck and he could ended up getting hurt. Thank God I don't own any Toyota stock.
9 months left of this nightmare. When Clinton was on his Communist run did it feel this bad then?
"God, guns and guts made America free. We need to keep all three".
That's a great old bumber sticker. Of course, for full effect, you'd have to put it on an American made truck.
Any future politicians currently considering being elected, ought run out right now and buy a new truck for a prop. Preferably a Ford………….
And then we have the REAL gomers who drive a hybrid pickup. What the f are they thinking?
Just wait until it hits 5,000……………
Oil got thumped today.
" ~ When Clinton was on his Communist run did it feel this bad then? ~ "
…in a word, NO.
so did gold and all commodities, and the dollars up, go figure.
Actually your '05 is better than the '09 I drove………..I had to give mine back, you still have yours………Bummer……..
Funny thing about those pesky battery packs isn't it. When you ask the enviro-weenies about the enviromental risks of all those dead battery packs, your met with dead silence……They have no answer. Maybe we can put them with all those old fuel rods in Yucca Mountain. Oh wait, enviromentalists are against that too……….I really wish one of the idiots would think something through……
And the irony is the environmentally unfriendly nickel mining takes place in Canada (which has an abundance of Nickel) but the Nickel then has to be shipped all the way to Japan where it is made into the battery packs which are then installed in the Prius which is then shipped back to North America where it it is sold to gullible consumers.
So bottom line is, the amount of energy and pollution expended to mine, ship, manufacture and sell the batteries is exponentially greater than the energy the battery powered (partially anyway) car supposedly saves.
Debating the merits of a pick-up truck versus a Prius is certainly intellectually stimulating…..but……
What of substance? Brown turned his choice of car into a photo-op. I don't see the substance in that. And, it makes me wonder, if someone works so hard to cultivate an image that proportions their electability, values and agenda in alignment with the transportation choice; what are they hiding behind the smoke and mirrors.
That's why I will always respect a guy like Al Gore. While AGW is the battle of our generation, Al recognizes that his position of importance dictates that he have access to forms of transportation that might fly in the face of his agenda and values; but practicality dictates his mode.
You gotta respect that!
Def a Ford! They didn't take government 'handouts' and just posted a nice profit! My hubby is a Ford guy all the way and I can tell you there's nothing like a 'pickup man'!! Yum!!
That is why I mentioned Ford.
No bankruptcy.
No government bailouts.
No government management.
Buy a Ford!
Tell Obama to stick Government Motors where it belongs.
You respect Al Gore? bwaaaahhahahhaahahaa!! This is the 'sham-wow' guy of the 'man-made global warming infomercial' farce . He is making millions perpetuating a myth that he doesn't even subscribe to personally!!! Check out his travels. You could fit a medium-sized Indonesian village in his carbon footprint…..His home in TN has been shown to be wasteful and not even a little green!! I don't respect anyone who talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. I don't care what party or philosophy you ascribe to, conviction shows up in action.
Scott Brown: You're my man! I vote in Florida and live in Honduras. Give them hell in Washington. I might not be from your state but you are the kind of people we need representing all of us. I wish you well and all the luck in the world. You are going to need in in that pit of vipers you have just been dropped into.
I have watched his position for about 10 years now and I don't think he ever read a bill. I am amazed that Nevada (a bright spot borded on 3 sides by idiots) sent this guy for so many years to Washington. He has never held a mainstream view point. He never did anything to entice businesses for California to the state and in many ways hurt these businesses as they came to Nevada.
"Al recognizes that his position of importance dictates that he have access to forms of transportation that might fly in the face of his agenda and values….."
Position of importance?
Nah. If that were the case, that silly sumbitch would be riding a skateboard.
The reality is, your statement should read: Position of IMpotence! Algore is a eunuch. He has been emasculated by his global fraud.
OMG Joseph, who says "That's why I will always respect a guy like Al Gore." You made me spit my green tea all over my monitor. As flyright says it's been proven that his home is far from being environmentally friendly. And his use of private jets? That really shows what the ahole is all about as in "do as I say, not as I do." But thanks for the belly laugh and now I'm off to get something to clean off my monitor.
I see that a lot too……..It's been my experience that most enviromentalists or greenies are the least likely to have there car serviced as soon as a service light comes on, least likely to have the repairs done immediately when it is has been diagnosed, and without a doubt, are "the" worst at doing required maintenance (tune-ups, tire press, oil changes etc)
That's what I've seen, I'm sure someone will disagree………
Today is due to the Euro.
I agree that the stocks may not recover and expect the level well below the 5,000. I think. using my trusty dart board random picking device (aka a dart), the level will slide down between 4,000 to as low as around 3,500 within the next 2 years.
I don't think this is the time but with the Euro about to break up (I would have given it another 10 years, or so) and knowing that Spain (that sunshine of green energy & green jobs) & Greece are about to be bankrupt, it will kill the Euro. This is almost like seeing which countries are farther left can bight the dust first.
This is the year to take as much capital gains as you can. This is the last year of the 15% cap tax rule, next year it goes to 20% with the expiration of the Bush tax cuts or 25% if the new budget gets passed.
Seems like we always get comedians on this blog!….lol
the Feds have told us there is a problem with the Prius braking system; when applied, it aways pulls to the left.
Come on guys! I'm a Registered Republican, TEA partying, AGW denying, Communist hating PRIUS DRIVER! The car gets 45 mpg over a year, I only paid $20K for it brand new and when gas was $4 it was a blessing. It's still fun to drive and the visual feedback on the dash DOES actually change your driving habits by making it a game to see how high the MPG can go. Do I drive 50 in the fast lane? Nope. Do I feel superior because of the Prius? Nope. It's just a great car! You can't tell the politics of the driver from the kind of car!! Put your macho sticks down and grow up. Palin 2012!
On January 19, for the first time in my adult life, I was proud, really proud of Massachusetts.
Is that a Nissan Frontier?
Good reply Dolemite. You can also add to that point that much of the plastics and other materials in those Priuses is made from petroleum. Some will argue that some plastics are being made from crops but all that means is less food for human and animal consumption, driving up the cost of food. This benefits the poor how, I can't figure out.
it may need a wash and wax but i guess that shows where his priority's are not
although because of the unions the cost is to high
but i have always been a ford man myself
LOL, Primer and Mago. I'll address your reply first Primer. I used to sell tires and auto maintenance services and there was no trend that I ever noticed that indicated only greenies didn't maintain their vehicles. There was an apparently liberal couple that came in on a regular basis and no expense was too great when it came to maintaining their vehicles. That is just one example, yes, but that couple stands out in my mind. There were many people that would come in that had no clue how to maintain or "treat" a vehicle. They would let oil get too low or drive on a flat tire for two miles and then want the problem to be fixed cheaply. Again, no trend there, people of all types would do these things.
Mago, your reply brings to mind the trend for liberals here in my area to drive old Volvos. What is ironic about that is that I have a friend in the LA area that drives a Volvo and she is conservative. She claims that Volvos are one of the brands of choice where she lives.
Go figure.
I agree with you Jeff. I sit here in AZ and am continually amazed by that and Californians who fall for the Kool-aid time and again. I think this time a lot of folks are waking up and will be making a major shift in how and who they vote for and basing it on what they have done in the past. No more buying into the charm and slick advertising schtick. The internet has opened up the voting records of all the folks in DC and people are looking thru that now.,
Amen to that Cowboy. Ford rules
GMC Canyon apparently.
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/driveon/p...
I prefer an F150.
Umm, I don't think Al ever said his home was green, did he? And you don't see him taking photo ops with his fleet of SUVs, do you? Exactly! Proactive leadership isn't about posing with your car! TYVM!
POGO stick! No wheels and good exercise for Al Bore.
Hee-Haw ! good one….
So, you hate him because he is being a capitalist and making millions?
What are you, a communist? We don't like commies round this message board!
Who said I hated him??!??! You stated you respected him and I would hope you would only credit your respect to those who walk their convictions, not just make a lot of noise! I actually respect those I disagree with, and can separate a person from their views….oooooo, I must be some sort of alien to the likes of you! I respect many in opposing camps of thought, but someone who basically lives a "do as I say, not as I do" , yeah, they pretty much don't deserve my respect. Step it up and find someone who actually lives what they believe, even it it's a myth.
" Step it up and find someone who actually lives what they believe, even it it's a myth. "
Is that a veiled crack at Christians!
Honduras? Aren't they allies of Chavez? Why does FL let you vote!!??? We don't need Chavez fans voting in FL!!! This is a troubling development.
The fact that Al even has a 'fleet of SUV's' is the whole point!!! The guy makes money by preaching (yes it is a religion to many) about cutting out our 'carbon footprint' and saving planet earth by doing without and he lives a lifestyle diametrically opposed to that……So your saying that you respect him makes us all laugh at you. Not him! Why would you respect him? You're such a silly one, you are!
I wish I coulda given you TWO thumbs-up on THAT one! Fax it to Leno! I heard they pay $50 for any one-liner they use.
Thanks for the laugh!
Right…
And while I'd never wish any thing bad on any person from either side.
I certainly hope Johnny "Mobster" Murtha's health improves enough for him to decide NOT to run.
OK Folks,
I'm gonna come out now. I've been a loyal poster here for quite a few months, but because I grew up in MA (JFK was my hero when I was in the 2nd grade) I have retained my "D" voter status. A Massachusetts Dem.
But yesterday, when I found out that Brown would be sworn-in a week early, I decided that the legacy is finished. Not just for Massachusetts, but for me too.
Today, I went and changed my voter status to "R" — and quite proudly I might add.
I was always an "old school conservative" Dem anyway, voted for Reagan, Bush and donated to Brown. But because Barney is such a lying, creepy elitist, I am very happy to be a full-fledged conservative.
I am in Florida now, and belong to the local Tea Party, FreedomWorks and have signed on as a volunteer for marco Rubio…our president in 2016!!!
I feel great too!
Congratulations to Scott Brown!
(PS: I drive a pick-up too.)
Sir,
I respect what you wrote here. I have read your other posts and agree with you. Judging by what you wrote, you are just a couple years ahead of me. My family was all JFK Democrats. my parents were of JFK's generation. I remember the the day Kennedy was shot, and where I was. I also remember the day Bobby was shot, and MLK. I also remember the day that Teddy killed that girl, and with it, something changed inside me. I was too young to vote at that time, but it changed me. It changed my perspective on power, on our elected officials, and the sham of prestige. I am the only one in my family whos is not a registered Democrat, going clear back to the War of Northern Aggression.
Here is a quote you might like. I wrote it here, on the very first thread when Breitbart launched Big Government back in the fall. it was applicable then, and is moreso now:
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable."
~ John F. Kennedy ~
I sure like that quote. It is powerful!
For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm proud of my state.
Wow,
The typical liberal means of debate. Since you can't make a legitimate refute to the point that flyright made, you choose to twist his words and add your own to try to discredit him. Flyright never said he HATED Al Gore because he is a capitalist; he made a valid point about his behavior being contradictory to what he claims to be his beliefs. He then said he has no respect for someone “who talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.” Comment on the point made or consent to being wrong.
Just an observation FlinderFlynn………..I worked at a GM dealership before I had my own shop, and through the years "I have" seen a pattern, but it doesn't mean it's the rule.
One of the more funny patterns I've seen relates to the cost of the persons car versus how much they will complain about the cost of a repair………….Drive a Ford or Chevy they grumble a little……..Drive a Benz or Jaguar they scream till your ears bleed…………..As I said, just an observation
Too your point about maintaining or treating a vehicle, that's why I tell everyone "read your owners manual". Vehicles and the repairs they need cost to damn much not to take the time to read it……….But sometimes I do forget that not everyone likes cars as much as I do…………
There is nothing wrong with being mindful of energy waste. Just look up the definition or the word conservative.
But God put the damned Oil on the planet for us to burn.
Good input Primer. Many will appreciate your input based upon your experience, including me. My comment was based on my own observations and of course they aren't the rule either. It was my experience that some owners of the really expensive exotic cars or trucks did no research into the cost of maintaining such exotic cars/trucks before they purchased them and that is why they grumbled. A man came in one day back in 2005 driving one of the Dodge pickups with a Vyper V-10 engine and wanted to know what new tires would cost him. I looked it up for him and it was $600 per tire. That was almost 4 years ago. I can't imagine what those tires cost now.
As for the average person like myself, just purchasing a set of average tires for an average vehicle is a fact of life and it is what it is, no use grumbling about it.
What can you tell us all about vehicle maintenance, especially in these woeful economic times?
Classic!! +
Obama stupidly made Brown's truck an election issue (a ridiculous one at that). Here's my response: http://twitpic.com/11g01c
I'm having huge problems with my internet tonight so hopefully I can finish this without losing everything again…….
The Dodge story is very funny and very true. Tires were and are a big issue on the Vettes. You'd see people scrimp and save to buy there dream car then be completely floored when they found out that new tires were going to cost them an arm and a leg plus there first born child…..
Anything that sounds or looks exotic generally has an exotic price tag attached to the repairs.
god bless AMERICAN made trucks
connection crashed………..To your question of vehicle maintenance: There are so many things you can do and shouldn't do. Obviously follow the owners manual. Use the oil life monitor if you have one. They work very well, so don't waste money on un-needed changes….Use fuel injection cleaner every couple months (it does make a difference)
I'm already getting long winded on this, but I think the don't do's are more important….such as don't let a shop talk you into an engine flush as part of normal upkeep. It's a waste of money and manufacturers such as GM actually advices against doing this (yet some GM dealers still promote it.) Don't let a shop talk you into a brake fluid flush. If they really insist that you need it (It's possible) they should have brake fluid test strips on hand to test the fliuds condition. Very simple to do yet doesn't make any money for them.
If you had a specific ? ask away………
You have far too much compassion.
I'd be alright if he never left the hospital.
And I'm from Pennsylvania, so I feel I can express my honest opinion.
What do you think of BG?
"Joseph of Steel"?
I love the little games people play with their screen-names.
You mean, like Joseph Stalin?
Is he another guy you "will always respect"?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Yup! 201,000 Miles.
My Prius Was Not Recalled!
Oh That's Right I Don't Drive A ………..
No they belong to China.
Of course not.
We had the beautiful and sensous Mz. Lewinsky to occupy our time and take our mind off the big picture. Remember the great jokes?
Perhaps thats what this Administration needs: Humor Czar. Perhaps Barney Frank could play the Joker.
Home Of The Free.
We'll See?
Steelheaded Joseph,
To whit: Proactive leadership?
AlGore?
you a funny guy mang!
Thank you, ChileSerrano, for pointing out the fact that this pompous troll, "Joseph of Steel", clearly has a fondness for Stalin that rivals Chris Matthews' fondness for Obama.
And apparently he also has a fondness for Al Gore as well.
Lover of Josef Stalin….also a lover of Al Gore….
Read into that what you will.
OK Massachusetts. You are off to a great start. Now there is the matter of Kerry, and Frank. Make 'em' disappear.
PPFFFFFFFTTT……………….. OMG
that was my good coffee wasted as i almost choked
Good for you! buy a Ford….they make hybrids as well
Nicely done!
and be charged, indicted, convicted, and jailed.
I want a GMC Yukon Hybrid…sorry. They rock.
No it isn't. It hasn't been for a long time. We are living in an oligarchy police-state. We The People need to take it back at all costs. Freedom? I have never known it. I would like to taste it though, and I will fight to the death for it. Our eyes are open now, thanks to Algore's wonderful intertubes. How far will we go to secure our liberty? I hope far enough. More likely we will get stopped by a Republican roadblock, and it's back to the two-party political theater for our entertainment on the road to serfdom.
Pretty good product………I use it.
It's hard to find, but 3M makes excellent automotive products. There stuff is not cheap ($) though. GM and several others actually rebottle 3M's products and sell them as there own. You can't go wrong with either one. A little warning though, be very careful with BG trans additives. They can wreak havoc on some of the asian imports transmissions…..
The c class is less expensive than a prius.

hehe laptop batteries suck you get a year use if your lucky then time to buy a new one. One of my co-workers owns a Prius and loves it. I however require lots of metal between myself and the road. If you want to see something funny watch the prius and other hybrids nearly crash to get out of my way especially today with the snow comming. (Hummer owner lol) And yes I own a Benz too.

lol Yeah I laughed the first time I saw a hybride escalade on the road.
lol Joe you might want to look up climate gate or the fact that washington DC is going to break a snow fall record this year.
