On Sunday Barack Obama slammed Scott Brown and his truck several times in his Bush-bashing campaign speech for Martha Coakley.
Maybe Barack Obama didn’t notice that Scott Brown’s truck is a GM truck.

GM trucks are discontinuing the compact line. With fuel standards choking big v-8's that make sense? Canyon and Colorado are history and they keep the big heavy duty line.

I would like to buy a new truck. But I can't. Mine is wrecked, needs frames work, suspension work, brake work and tires. A nice new truck would be great. But I can't afford $500 a month payments. Business is too slow and taxes are getting higher. We need real change in politics. None of this Hopey Changey crap.

Well there goes GM's regular fuel MPG champ int he truck division. That inline 5 does a great job. I had an 06 Crew Cab LT when I gave a damn about gas mileage.

They are also the choice of "dear leader's" kin–when the beds of said trucks are packed with diesel and fertilizer… I think Maobama's lost it. But why was Obama saying "Forget about the truck…"? This is taken out of context and doesn't appear to be saying anything about GM, or the origin of the truck or buying American. Obama seems to be saying, 'don't be swayed by the appearance of a truck in this ad.' And look what you'all've done, exactly that. You're swayed only by the image of the truck and missed the message.

Scott Brown didn't miss the message. Obama said that anybody could buy a truck, and Brown observed that this was no longer true. He nailed the message and nailed Obama!
