On Sunday Barack Obama slammed Scott Brown and his truck several times in his Bush-bashing campaign speech for Martha Coakley.
Maybe Barack Obama didn’t notice that Scott Brown’s truck is a GM truck.

I would like to buy a new truck. But I can't. Mine is wrecked, needs frames work, suspension work, brake work and tires. A nice new truck would be great. But I can't afford $500 a month payments. But why was Obama saying "Forget about the truck…"? This is taken out of context and doesn't appear to be saying anything about GM, or the origin of the truck or buying American. Obama seems to be saying, 'don't be swayed by the appearance of a truck in this ad.' And look what you'all've done, exactly that. You're swayed only by the image of the truck and missed the message.

Geez! It was in no way a slam against trucks. The ad in reference uses a truck as a metaphor for image versus substance, as in " Don't judge a book by its cover'. The ad says to "look under the hood", as in the the image that Brown wants to project by choosing to drive a truck(as effort to get working class voters to think he's one of them) may not accurately represent who's interests he's really supporting.
People have died for us to have the right to vote. Take the time to read a newspaper. Take the time to research the issues. This isn't a college football game. I hear all the "smarter, wiser" liberals telling me how I don't really understand the way the world works and I need to have more "culture". I own a truck, and am told that trucks are evil, of course until they need me to help them move or pick-up an appliance. They tell me that guns should be outlawed, until their home is burglarized, then they rush to go buy one. They tell me many things. What is laughable is that my income is almost 5 times greater than theirs, and I am successful, but somehow Liberal=Higher Intelligence. It's always OK until it affects them…then the rules need to change.

Majority of the reform that has been passed (even though certain members of congress haven't read it) was approved by the Senate and House of Reps while Obama has been in office. This will be the first bill (health care bill) that Obama wanted to pass through Congress that MIGHT not be passed. As far as it bringing justice to 34 million Americans, which is a little absurd, I seriously doubt you know that it will bring them justice when you have no idea what is in the health care bill. Nobody does, except a few government officials. That is why America is upset, and I think Massachusetts might reflect how America’s feel towards Obama. Obama has yet to come through on his word and have an open debate on c-span. America doesn't want a health care plan that will cost billions of dollars and they have no idea what it entails. Only a little over 30% of the population want health care, and I seriously doubt they know anything about it.
