Fistgate VIII: Safe School’s Czar Jennings’ Org Promoted Book Detailing Gay Sex Between First Graders

Scott Baker from Breitbart-TV.com and Co-Host of ‘The B-Cast‘ submitted a shocking report to Gateway Pundit blog back on December 4, 2009. The report detailed the reading list promoted to 7-12 grade students by Kevin Jennings’ GLSEN organization. This material has not been reported in detail at Big Government website. Remember as you read this that Kevin Jennings is today the nation’s Safe Schools Czar.

I was recently approached by a team of independent researchers that I have known for some time and have come to trust. They prepared this report involving ‘Safe Schools Czar’ Kevin Jennings and the organization he founded, GLSEN, and asked that I find a way to help draw attention to what they uncovered. Knowing that Gateway Pundit has followed Kevin Jennings since his appointment, as we have on The B-Cast (here, here, and here), and on Breitbart.tv (here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here), I felt this would be an appropriate place for this report.

Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings was the founder, and for many years, Executive Director of an organization called the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). GLSEN started essentially as Jennings’ personal project and grew to become the culmination of his life’s work. And he was chosen by President Obama to be the nation’s Safe Schools Czar primarily because he had founded and led GLSEN (scroll for bio).
GLSEN’s stated mission is to empower gay youth in the schools and to stop harassment by other students. It encourages the formation of Gay Student Alliances and condemns the use of hateful words. GLSEN also strives to influence the educational curriculum to include materials which the group believes will increase tolerance of gay students and decrease bullying. To that end, GLSEN maintains a recommended reading list of books that it claims “furthers our mission to ensure safe schools for all students.” In other words, these are the books that GLSEN’s directors think all kids should be reading: gay kids should read them to raise their self-esteem, and straight kids should read them in order to become more aware and tolerant and stop bullying gay kids. Through GLSEN’s online ordering system, called “GLSEN BookLink,” featured prominently on their Web site, teachers can buy the books to use as required classroom assignments, or students can buy them to read on their own.
According to GLSEN’s own press releases from the period during which its recommended reading list was developed, the organization’s three areas of focus were creating “educational resources, public policy agenda, [and] student organizing programs”; in other words, the reading list (chief among its “educational resources”) was of prime importance in GLSEN’s efforts to influence the American educational system.
The list is divided into three main categories: books recommended for grades K-6; books recommended for grades 7-12; and books for teachers. (The books on the list span all genres: fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, even poetry.)
Out of curiosity to see exactly what kind of books Kevin Jennings and his organization think American students should be reading in school, our team chose a handful at random from the over 100 titles on GLSEN’s grades 7-12 list, and began reading through.
What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless.
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
We knew that unless we carefully documented what we were reading, the public would have a hard time accepting it. Mere descriptions on our part could not convey the emotional gut reaction one gets when seeing what Kevin Jennings wants kids to read as school assignments. So we began scanning pages from each of the books, and then made exact transcriptions of the relevant passages on each page.
Today we will focus on one of GLSEN’s recommended books for 7 to 12 graders–
Reflections of a Rock Lobster: A Story About Growing up Gay
This book is promoted at the GLSEN website and can be purchased there.
This book covers group sex between first graders and makes it sound completely normal.

My sexual exploits with my neighborhood playmates continued. I lived a busy homosexual childhood, somehow managing to avoid venereal disease through all my toddler years. By first grade I was sexually active with many friends. In fact, a small group of us regularly met in the grammar school lavatory to perform fellatio on one another. A typical week’s schedule would be Aaron and Michael on Monday during lunch; Michael and Johnny on Tuesday after school; Fred and Timmy at noon Wednesday; Aaron and Timmy after school on Thursday. This does not surprise me. I attended a very liberal grade school in the 70s and the "health" education was perverse. In fact, it is the #1 reason my children will walk through the doors of a public school over my dead body. Conservatives need to wake up. We can't expect our children to come out of the goverment run education institutions unscathed.

A book list from GLSEN is not a recommended reading list that is given directly to children in the schools. They would have to seek out the list from GLSEN. And why is it that whenever I waste my time commenting on such sites I, 1) never get my questions answered and 2) always get called a name.

This is a re-post of something I said a few days ago. It is still how I feel.
I have been unable to sleep well. My thoughts by day can be overlaid by the business of everyday actions, but at night they come forth an disrupt my sleep! These thoughts are not fitting for the season, not full of love and good cheer. My thoughts are full of hurt and tears, anger and revulsion. It is not difficult for me to understand why I am disturbed, I don't need to go to counseling to trace the cause. It is clearer than glass.
Much has been going on in the past 11months that I have not agreed with. While trying to understand the other sides point of view, I have expressed my displeasure and disagreement, in what I believe is a mature manner, through letters and conversation.
I now find myself unable to contain and restrain myself fully. My mind is full of a white hot heat and thoughts of retribution constantly surface.
So what has caused this?

The book was part of my required summer reading list, when I was 14, and yes, we were tested, upon our return to school, on all five books.
I hadn't read "BRAVE NEW WORLD" in many decades, when the Clintons were elected, but remembered it fondly. The Sunday N.Y. Times did a full, rather large, with her on the cover, story about Hillary, right after they took the White House and in it, she said that "BRAVE NEW WORLD" was her favorite book, so I decided to reread it. I did and found myself now hating the book and no longer thought that it was well written.
Solme books shouldn't be read until one is an adult; no matter how intelligent a teen is, they won't really understand it, until they are older.
I have a first grader and I can tell you that if she came home with such materials I would have to be issued a restraining order to prevent me from severely injuring (or worse) whomever dispersed such material. I am sickened by the thought that any school age children should be subjected to the act of oral sex or even sex for that matter. Why can't children remain innocent? Would that be so bad? Are you saying that because Jennings was Executive Dir. of GLSEN and they put out a list of reccomended books and a few of those books contain topics that you find distasteful and offensive that Jennings must go and Obama impeached? The comment about whether or not Obama would want his girls to read this really hits home. The thing is, he doesn't have to worry about this crap because he has the ability to choose where his children go to school unlike most people. I can't believe that the teachers unions are not speaking out about this.

This should not surprise anyone who has been paying attention for the past few years. For a long time now, the American Library Association and public schools have been promoting explicit sexualized novels to the age group they call "young adult." "Young Adult" is any child from about age 11 onward. These novels contain explicit sex, descriptions of incest and sexual abuse, homosexuality, and vulgarity and profanity. If anyone dares to complain to the schools or libraries about the matter, the American Library Association goes into high gear fighting them with charges of censorship. The ALA website contains information for schools and libraries in pushing back against anyone who dares to question the propriety of pushing such novels on kids. You better wake up, America. This has been going on under your noses for a couple of decades now.

This appears to be another good reason to get rid of the US Dept of Edumacation (as if we needed one). This is too much power placed with someone who is not directly responsible to the public. Public schools are corrupt and too political and any parent who depends on them to educate their children (in most cases) will be severely dissapointed
