The Russ Carnahan union supporters beat, stomped on and kicked black vendor Kenneth Gladney.
Big Government featured Harris Himes in a report in early November:
Harris Himes is pastor of Big Sky Christian Center in Hamilton, Montana, and was ordained by Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel and his board. He is also a Vietnam vet who commanded a tank platoon of young Marine heroes on the DMZ, 1967-68. Prior to Vietnam, he graduated from Cornell, then, after Vietnam, went to law school nights in California where he practiced for almost twenty years. He is a voluntary attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund and is the author of Stand, a book aimed at galvanizing the church and her pastors and priests and leaders to regain the moral leadership in the public forum which they once held, dating from before the Revolution—to become God’s Watchmen, warning the people, before it’s too late.
Sandra Himes, Harris’s wife, is also a Marine officer. Born in Arkansas, she is a true Southern belle—and speaks like one—graduating from Ouachita Baptist University.
Harris Himes and his wife witnessed the Gladney beatdown. Harris cannot believe that only misdemeanor charges were filed in the case.

Question: What do you think of the charges that were filed this past week?
Harris Himes: Well, I am not only a pastor but I am also a California attorney and I think misdemeanor charges for something that was a blatant assault like that are way too light. And, I think also, just as people have said, it wouldn’t have happened (the charges filed) had there not been as much press and pressure as there was but still I think they’re sliding.

Wake up St. Louis! Your have a politcal hack for a prosecutor and she is dirty! The state AG is dirty as well! Stand up and take back your stae from these people who only want to rule by whim and not by the law! If someone had attacked one their supporters they'd have been arrested immediately and jailed in a big parrade so that the prosecutor could claim justice is being done. But when the the attackers are suporters of the Democratic machine oh no! Obviously the SEIU and Democratic Party have the back of these scumbags and a deal has been cut behind the scenes. The "fix is in" beccause somebody at SEIU gave marching orders to these guys and local politicians want to protect their ideological comrades. The last thing they want is a trial which would involve discovery and cross-examination. I am not a lawyer, but should they not have consulted the victim, Mr. Gladney, regarding what his thoughts on a misdemeanor plea? I know if the situation were reversed and if by accident I touched one of the SEIU "Purple Shirts" with my pinky finger I would be facing a much more aggressive prosecution.

I said this in another post but it is worth saying again. The U.S. A.G. wants to have terrorist trials in NYC, the same office that refuses to investigate ACORN & has actually supported ACORN, has tried to block investigations into Ft. Hood, has dropped charges against Black Panthers for interference with voters. We have Chicago Prosecutors dropping charges on a murder suspect, who was videoed (working that area as a cop, this one doesn't surprise me). We have that joke of an AG in Cali, good old Jerry Brown, well his screw-ups can be seen all over the place. The list of incompetence in our judicial system is over whelming.
He was a threat to the hive, he had to be beaten. Everyone remember this when we have to deal with the Purple Parasites in 2010. There super worried about having to get a, as BBBB…Biden told us, a three letter word “jobs.”

Remember the statements made last year before the elections about anyone saying truthful things about ObaMao would be investigated and or charged with making false statements?

I don't know about Missouri, but in California, SEIU is mostly government employees so what else is to be expected?
Kenneth Gladney deserves better. Conservatives are not calling for "hate crime" level prosecution, only equal protection under the law. Touching someone's sleeve with your uncapped pen is misdemeanor assault. Kicking and stomping someone in a mob and putting him in the hospital is felony assault. You don't need any sort of lawyer to tell you that. What an injustice. America, I cry for thee.

He's surprised that only misdemeanor charges were filed? I'd be surprised if all charges weren't dropped just like the thugs that carried weapons to a voting place for voter intimidation during the elections. This is the most crooked" administration " America has ever had.
The incident sounds like a hate crime. A hate crime against capitalism.
Every day more eyes are opened to the corruption of this administration, the Chicago tactics being employed, and the nefarious ambitions of the liberal progressives. This should be made into a commercial detailing all the facts. Remember how the NAACP used the dragging case in Texas to attack Pres. My friend, your heart may be in the right place but I must take issue with your advocating the use of Hate Crime legislation to further the cause of justice. Is this something Mr. Gladney would want? He is a conservative. What is a hate crime? A hate crime is a thought crime. If the government can put you in jail for what you think. Hate crime legislation therefore is a direct contradiction to the values of a free and just society. We have a right to think and feel and indeed to hate whoever and whatever we want. I hate liberals and this health bill. Could this be criminalized by some administration somewhere down the line? Other countries have done it, so yes, of course.
If Angels were responsible for administering justice fairly and equitably, hate crimes would be a great idea. But when it comes to men with power over other men, we must be disciplined in our pursuit of justice. Assault and battery in this case are a proven fact, we can put these guys in jail for that. Let's not try to prove what they were thinking when they attacked this man, because I promise you, that is not the route we as a nation want to go.
Conspcuously absent from all this are Rev. Sharpten and Ref. Jackson. Wonder why.

Was Gladney attacked by two white men or a black man and a white man. It's interesting that in this video that a minister says that it must be a hate crime because his wife heard- – - – (gap in video) – - – . Question, is it a hate crime if a black man punches a black man while calling him the dreaded "N" word, I personally wouldn't think so, on the other hand if it was the white man who was doing the name calling, perhaps, but you would have to admit that it would seem a bit strange to have your hate crime partner be someone you must hate. If you look at the original video posted on youtube at the 1:21 mark there is Gladney saying that he was attacked by a black man, before that I could not make out any racial slurs at all. Also if you watch the Youtube video it appears that Gladney is walking around, waving his arms and doesn't have the appearanc of a "savagely" beaten man.
