In light of recent investigative reports from the Daily Caller that reveal close coordination between Media Matters for America and the White House, BigJournalism and BigGovernment have undertaken the task of revisiting some of our prior reporting on the media watchdog group and our list of its donors. It's all BS and smoke n mirrors. These A holes will say and do anything to get their way and stay in power. Look out, it is going to be a bumpy ride.
Gosh, those ears !
Great effort HUD…We really don't care what this joker calls them, just do them
But know, Obama, they will not help you now…
We've all heard you for years, now our eyes have seen you…
Not a pretty picture…A thin-skinned, intellectually lazy man, in way over his head…
Oh, and really big tone-deaf ears…
These people in the WH haven't figured it out yet….we aren't buying what they are selling…"The jig is up"
Obfuscator In Chief.
Great toon! I think he needs to build a higher fence?
Good job Gentlemen;
….as all history informs us, there has been in every State & Kingdom a constant kind of warfare between the governing & governed: the one striving to obtain more for its support, and the other to pay less. And this has alone occasioned great convulsions, actual civil wars, ending either in dethroning of the Princes, or enslaving of the people. Generally indeed the ruling power carries its point, the revenues of princes constantly increasing, and we see that they are never satisfied, but always in want of more. The more the people are discontented with the oppression of taxes; the greater need the prince has of money to distribute among his partisans and pay the troops that are to suppress all resistance, and enable him to plunder at pleasure. There is scarce a king in a hundred who would not, if he could, follow the example of Pharaoh, get first all the peoples money, then all their lands, and then make them and their children servants for ever … "

God Bless The TPM
Or a moat.
Not to keep US out, but to keep them IN.
bil,
Go over to Big Journalism, and take a peek at the DNC logo thread, page two.
It is hilarious.
The DNC stole their logo from a pizzeria.
We already have them surrounded.
HOW TO ANGER THE MARXIST MSM AND FORM A RACIST HATE GROUP:
1 – Gather Americans who know their rights and love their country.
2 – Pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America (one nation under God).
3 – Affirm that the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law.
4 – Demand that our elected representatives follow the rule of law.
5 – Demand that our elected representatives honor their Oath of Office.
6 – Demand that our elected representatives protect Americans and secure our borders!
7 – Demand smaller government.
8 – Demand lower taxes.

Has anyone else noticed that the LSM is not touting BO's "high" IQ, and harvard graduate credentials anymore as proof of ability to lead the country?
Socialist and thief.
Yep.
They sure quit singing that song.
Yeah I read your post…^
Kane is just whistling past the grave yard, he knows it…Chrissy Mathews is already admitting they are toast….
Obama's dream is to "Fundamentally Transform us from FREE American 'Citizens' to 'Subjects' of the State".
True that, I dunno maybe the 'corpseman' thing and the 57 states comments?
Crony Capitalism
What Does Crony Capitalism Mean?
A description of capitalist society as being based on the close relationships between businessmen and the state. Instead of success being determined by a free market and the rule of law, the success of a business is dependent on the favoritism that is shown to it by the ruling government in the form of tax breaks, government grants and other incentives.
"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed".
Martin Luther King, Jr
……."True that, I dunno maybe the 'corpseman' thing and the 57 states comments? "
Everyone thinks it was just a mistake and joke about it all the time
But the real story is……….
It was a Freudian slip ! http://www.answers.com/topic/freudian-slip http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organisation_of_the_...
/Obama's True Colors
Good Post Washington to which may I add…the job of eliminating Crony Capitalism will not begin until the lobbyist whores on K Street are closed down….
CB, thanks for posting that….it's hilarious is right.
Proves one thing though, the Dumbocrats do not have any ideas of their own, they steal everything.
Maybe Dewys Pizza should sue the pants off the DNC and everyone who markets that logo.
Pretty bad, isn't it?
Stealing from a small businessman.
That "D" emblem, is emblematic of the DNC's true cultural mindset. Steal from the little man, and enrich themselves.
AMEN !
I still feel like a broken record but, if the parasite lobbyists are only allowed to have contact of any kind with members of Congress in open, public and televised committee meetings, then problem solved. No more backroom deals. No more junkets. No more behind closed doors deals for "donations".
Mr. President……you have let us down by placing your own ideology above the Constitution of the United States. For this violation, you will not be re-elected and will go down in history as the worst President ever.

If his lips are moving, he's a lying marxist. We've got your number Barry, and it's a ZERO! you and your slimy henchmen are gone, baby, gone from the majority in November, no matter what kind of BS you try to sell us.
Tell it to the Venezuelans, maybe they'll still fall for Hugo Chavez II!
Thomas Jefferson, in his Autobiography of 1821, described the federal judiciary as:
[T]he corps of sappers and miners, steadily working to undermine the independent rights of the States and to consolidate all power in the hands of that government in which they have so important a freehold estate.
Truer words were never spoken, and that description also fits perfectly the political, academic, corporate, and banking elites of both major parties who have joined the judiciary in the steady, relentless undermining, consolidation of power, and theft of the very sweat of our brows that began before the ink was barely dry.
As for the banking elites, Jefferson had this to say:
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
We are now very near that point, with our currency on the verge of being completely devalued and what is left of our wealth sucked out of us, and our children already born into monstrous debt as indentured servants of the government supremacist elites – both Democrats and Republicans – who lord over us with increasingly brazen disdain and treat us like so many heads of cattle, as Angelo Codevilla so clearly spelled out in his recent essay,
America's Ruling Class – and the Perils of Revolution
http://spectator.org/archives/2010/07/16/americas... Codevilla's essay is highly recommended reading, by the way.
"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed."

Great cartoon, should of also had first lady in background sweating it out at the job that "Hell Would not Have".
You gotta love these hapless fools on the left!
How can anyone with an ounce of intelligence think that leaving a particular "existing" tax rate in place is the same thing as a 'tax-cut'?
Oop's my bad, this is only a rhetorical question for people on this thread,,,,,,for the prog/left/libs, this is something worth considering since they all truely believe that the government actually owns everything and to not give it your all, then you are somehow cheating the public. After all the leftist powers that be know far better than we the working, taxpaying public could ever know.
Now everybody just shut up and quit complaining, sign your union card and pay your dues, your union leaders know how to work this white house and we union leaders know that for every dollar we give obamapelosireid comes back ten fold.
Just remember………………they will not go quietly.
We may have to drag them, kicking and screaming like little children, from their exalted thrones.
I can't wait.
If we have no fence on the border and this White House wants to keep the borders open for all those honest, hard working drug cartels, then by all rights,,,,,there should be no fence around the White House and all open border libs should remove the locks on their front doors and allow every one of these illegals to come and go at will.
I mean Fair is Fair,,,,,is it not?
How about Obama's Bedtime Story…

The new Demcrat logo looks like a 'letter grade' in school,,,and it is appropriate. On a related note, Drake University recently poll tested their new logo which like the Democrat new logo is the letter D+ incribed within a circle. The polling results were quite revealing as to where this nation is going.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Plouffe the Magic Campaign Manager is going to replace Axelrod in 2011?
If so, look for a steady stream of slick but vague messages on the cell phones of all liberals nation-wide. It will be talking points in real time. If you thought talking with a progressive is a burden now, just wait.
Time spent talking with a real "progressive" isn't just a burden, it is wasted. Fortunately, there isn't a sufficient number of those ideologically pure "progressives" to carry the day for the current regime. Independents got them where they are and that support has already fallen away dramatically. Likewise, many traditional Democrat voters, who never were extreme left ideologues, have been waked up and frightened by the failure of the regime's policies and the growing debt and joblessness. Let the slick phone messages go out. Buyer's remorse is everywhere. More than you may think who receive those messages will respond with the old adage, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!" Spend your time listening to and talking with those "moderates" who may still need a little help admitting that they were duped and deciding to join us in putting a stop to the destructive policies of this regime.
If getting obummer to listen to we, the people were only that easy……..

The second frame is spot on. He looks like a frightened little boy. Excellent portrayal, Hud and Lash.
Just like Charlie Christ , Michael Castle and Lisa Murkowski will say or do anything to try and stay in power.
Government is BO's god http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2010/09/presi...
This November lets vote and party like it is 1776. Let Us show the political elites who is the boss, because we are the ones who do the consenting. We will have our voices heard at the ballot box. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
What’s the point of this? Nobody will stand up and do that one single necessary thing that is needed to put a stop to this! We all just talk and chit chat and complain all the while our Constitutional freedoms are under attack and we slip further and further into being slaves to the government! There’s one hundred million of us voters to what… let’s say about a thousand of them and we can’t do our Constitutional duty of ousting them for their deliberate betrayals to you, me and the U.S. Constitution! The Founding Fathers gave to us a tool to use in cases such as this and nobody wants to pick it up! If you care about your freedoms and your future you have a choice….pick up that tool or be their slave, it’s your decision!
these two have (hudnall/lash) have been standing too close to the bong…it's funny but ain't gonna happen…

I accept your observation, and conclusion.
Pinocchio ears…
Cute toon guys, especially like the grey skies. ;-D
.
Question, did you read the attached link? It is a very interesting view, and observation along with informative.
The grey skies are rather…apt.
yep I thought that fit right in, these guys don't miss a thing.
.
It is from The American Spectator. It is a great article, and well written.
July 2010 – August 2010 issue I assure you it is not dribble.
Conservatives and the people of this country can do anything. I know the party from the left has taken US from a ditch, and are headed for the end of the cliff. What if everybody just gave up? We as a nation have never been that way. I will never give up my God given rights.
I'm diggin it guys. Good piece. Timely and fitting.
Were you aware that when Reagan took office there were only 300 lobbyist, now there are over 30,000!! Reagan blew the doors off lobby regulations! Thanks again Ronnie!!
Actually the Democrats are talking about this now.
What a cute catroon hih pix,,, these two work well together. I wish we had one from them every
morning on the open thread. I'd love a laugh to start off my day each morning,
The ENTIRE OBABA ADMINISTRATION has NO credibility!
We see them for the socialists that they are. I'm ready for trial!
When he's not bowing to the wrong people.
There is nothing as beautiful to him as the sound of morning prayers.
Did he? Or was it during Clinton years? We do know Linda Daeschle made a chunk of change as a lobbiest, and I can't imagine her husband being in charge of the senate hurt her hourly rates.
I bet hockeynation even has an authoritative link which demonstrates the growth in the number of lobbyists.
"As of 2007 there are over 17,000 federal lobbyists based in Washington, DC."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobbying_in_the_Unit....
Keep in mind that a Republican Congress attempted to bring lobbying under control:
"In 1995, the 104th Congress sought to reform Lobbying by passing the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 (LDA) which defines and requires lobbyists who are compensated for their actions to register with the Clerk of the House and the Secretary of the Senate semiannual reports of activities."
Also consider the actions of another Republican Congress:
"In January 2004, the U.S. Senate considered S. 1, an omnibus "ethics reform" bill. This bill contained a provision (Section 220) to establish federal regulation, for the first time, of certain efforts to encourage "grassroots lobbying.""
Note that grassroots lobbying is a far cry from professional lobbying for major special interest groups like labor unions and corporations. Thus, the increase in lobbyists may actually represent a shift which gives MORE power "to the people."
Also note that Bush signed the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007.
Above quotes from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobbying_in_the_Unit...
Finally, note:
Lobbyists thriving in Obama's Washington
"…in the months since Obama was sworn in as president, the number of lobbyists in Washington has grown."
Cartoon could be renamed 'Modern Day March on the Bastille.'
We the People are getting restless.
Will November elections results reflect the will of the people or the will of the counters???
We will soon see.
See response below
Facts are not their friends.
We couldn't even get the health care discussions televised.
I'm not holding my breath to see thousands of lobbyist interactions televised every day. And I don't think anyone would watch.
One of my favorite facts in the below:
"…in the months since Obama was sworn in as president, the number of lobbyists in Washington has grown."
I think the reason for the growth in lobbyists is threefold:
The federal government is becoming far more intrusive into the lives of people and groups. Companies and organizations have a right to protect themselves from the federal government.
The federal government is doling out lots of cash. People want to get as much of that as they can.
The Democrats are quite unethical and very susceptible to bribery and influence by lobbyists. If lobbyists knew their efforts would go unrewarded, they wouldn't bother.
Seemed to me the last time I dug up a cess pool, that all the big turds were on top.
I hope we remember that when we vote this november. Someone said we need to vote like it's 1776. I like that on so many levels!
Dear Leader says there are 60 states.
Dear Leader said he visited 57 states, that he had one more to go, and that he missed two (Alaska & Hawaii) due to time constraints.
Obama akbar!
You miss the point. Limiting access to the same access that a citizen has and forcing their arguements to be part of the public record is the point. Light is the best disinfectant.
"Has anyone else noticed that the LSM is not touting BO's "high" IQ, "
Now they're just admitting that he used to get high.
I understand your concern but I think the approach of recording and airing every single interaction between lobbyists and politicians it is both impractical and counterproductive.
Could you maintain a meaningful relationship with another person if you thought that every word you said was recorded?
Not everything done by lobbyists is evil.
To the first line of your response- No matter how difficult public airing and recording of interaction between lobbyists and pols may be, it is inparative to know that no backroom deals are being created.
To the second line I would say, Their right to the same privacy we enjoy went out the window as soon as they stepped into the PUBLIC arena.
Finally, I do agree that not all things "lobbyist" are evil, but lets make them public for all to see. Then we can decide for ourselves. If we still disagree, so be it. Public debate is a good thing. Look at our interreactions. : -)
You conservative cartoonist are all alike. Big ears on the president? That will hurt his feelings! And don't come back to me and say that you all did the same to GWB. He deserved it! And the Ax man as a portly, no obese, shorty? More hurt feelings. You should have stuck to Rove the Rapper….
Let me see if I have this straight: Bush cuts the taxes for
America's wealthiest, triples the deficit, and wrecks the
economy. Not a peep out of Republicans.
Obama comes in at the tail end of this Republican disaster
and on top of not letting this recession metamorph into a
depression signs into law HealthCare, Financial, and
Educational reform which over the long term will make
this Country stronger.
So, what do you the Republicans do: they institute a
modern day Kristallnacht against the American people
in the form of racism, xenophobia, and the funniest slate of
Congressional and Senate candidates since the premier
of the Marx Brothers film Duck Soup. And as if this weren't
funny enough they now tell us Sarah Palin should be our
President!
The Republican Party – Keeping the World Laughing
Since 1981!
"Backroom deals" are a fact of life in all aspects of our existence.
On the issues of right to privacy, my point is that it's impossible to have a normal relationship when everything you say is subject to scrutiny.
I'm sorry. We'll have to disagree on both those points. If backroom deals are a fact of life, it doesn't mean that it's right. In a normal relationship, if it is based on truth, it will withstand scrutiny.
Hey agent ppk… responding here as we need a new thread. That other one is threadbare.
Yep, I was hoping it was buried this morning, but -17 and holding isn't too bad, hehehe.
When ya walk up and slap the scum up side the head there WILL be retaliation, wudevah.
Notice how brave most of our BG conservatives are in speaking out?
I did notice that ; ) But look at you, Miss BraveMouth LMAO I love it!
I learn a lot from you- in so many ways ; )
" I learn a lot from you in many ways."
…and hopefully one of those lessons is to understand what you are risking by being out-
spoken. I probably lost some friends by taking that position. I say tuff shit, I don't need friends
who won't show up to the fight. I dang sure have showed up to support them when they led
the charge. I've been in this position before, they will be 'cool' toward me for a while, won't give
me TU… but gradually they forget (perhaps drug induced memory loss) and most will forgive
me for being 'too' bold for their tastes. good nite, again pix.
Its like this- I admire you for *taking* a stand, and not kowtowing to peer pressure. That's ballsy, my Texan Corn Bread Dish, and ballsy, I can admire. Whether or not I agree with the stance itself is immaterial.
The sign of sincere, good people is that they can debate a subject, pro or con, not take it personally, and walk away just as friendly as they were before the debate began.
I've always been outspoken. Mr. Pix loves to introduce me as "Hello, this is my wife, Mrs. Pixie-I-Have-No-Filter-Last-Name-Goes-Here"…if I think it, dollars to donuts, I'm gonna say it. I can be diplomatic in my speech, but sometimes….well….yeah. My inner court jester wins ; )
Now get your Texan sleepy behind to bed, wench. And stop blaming me for you staying up. ; P
I am not an apologist for the Democrats!!!
Of course but I also notice you didn't point out which administrations had the largest increase in those who lobby since Reagan.
Public scrutiny for public deals, privacy for all others.
I am reminded of the democrats wanting the minutes of the energy meetings Cheney had.
There are times private people want to speak privately. If we only had journalists that actually reported this wouldn't be such an important issue!
Still waiting for your response to my rebuttal below to your lobbyist post.
"Public scrutiny for public deals"
I think this would make good government impossible.
First, consider the military perspective. I don't believe we should make public all discussions of military procurement and development.
Second, consider competition. Companies would not be able to discuss ANYTHING relating to their developments or strategies because it would go straight to their competitors.
Third, consider the perspective from Congress. They would not be able to discuss anything meaningful because it would be leaked. They would not be able to ask any "what if" questions or to ask any questions which might make them look stupid.
I'm not as down on lobbying as others are. I believe that it can be adequately managed without requiring that all discussions be made public.
It sounds like an idea democrats would float under republican majorities to tie up their hands and keep them from getting things done.
But I don't see this transparent administration doing anything of the sort!
We are on the same page!! I would NEVER suggest that it is only one party that is abusive and corrupt, to do that shows complete ignorance!!!
