The Science Behind the ACORN Sting
by Hannah GilesAfter going undercover on the east coast, James and I headed to the west coast. We knew it was a risky endeavor but the results on the east coast were too good to ignore. We had to test our scenario in an opposite region. It is like a science experiment:
1) Ask A Question: What if a “prostitute” and her alleged law school boyfriend walk into ACORN seeking housing for an underage brothel to fund his future congressional campaign?
2) Do Background Research:
- Learn as much about ACORN housing procedures and protocol as possible.
- History of ACORN and their effect on the United States
3) Construct a Hypothesis: ACORN is corrupt and it is in their nature to promote and disguise illegal behavior.
4) Experiment: Baltimore, DC, Brooklyn, San Bernardino, and…
5) Analyze and draw a conclusion.
America-
James O’Keefe and I posed a question and gathered the evidence. We’ve run around this nation on a quest for truth unraveling the mystery of organized corruption.

It's fascinating to watch the two of you conduct your independent stings, which the MSM used to do when I was younger. Now they only go after the "safe," politically correct targets. Perhaps we really are in a new evolution of journalism and you two are the pioneers. The only downside is that people will be looking for something to attack you on, so make sure your personal lives are in order. An Obama fan in Ohio actually used her government job to investigate Joe Wurzelbacher's past to see if she could dig up any dirt. The funny (sad) thing about Liberals is that when they are angry, they are the first to attack people for their personal lives….especially women and minorities.

Freakin' genius this girl, I did undercover and investigation at the Fed level and believe me they need to ship her in to give training sessions. The entertainment level, if possible, nearly equals the impact and meaningful nature of the work. All around screaming success for these kids. Could these kids singlehandedly bring down ACORN? Given that these stories would be a boon to ratings, and hence would increase advertising rates/revenues, the shareholders of the various news outlets ought to file a class action lawsuit against the outlets for failing to maximize shareholder value.

My guess is that's when the camera's firmware was originally written. Buy any camera and see what the default date is. Most people don't bother correcting that either.

Fortunately the form letter included a self addressed return envelope with paid postage. I obliged them with my own message to SEIU and Acorn and sealed the envelope and mailed my short missive.

On Rush today, he had a radio interview of Charlie Gibson being asked by the WLS interviewer when asked about why they haven't covered ACORN, he had a nervous laugh and claimed he knew nothing of this story, the census bureau firing them or the senate voting to cut some of their funding. I heard Charlie Gibson of ABC nightly news being interviewed today and when asked what he thought of the acorn tapes he said he had never heard anything about that. OMG! I'm glad to see the left doesn't have a monopoly on the younger generation. This should be a lesson to some of us pessimists: you can always be surprised and encouraged when you least expect it. The fact that the mainstream media refuses to cover this is actually a good thing…. because their silence is literally deafening. This doesn't just affect ACORN.. the mainstream media is being equally wounded by this.

As a former citizen and cop in Maryland, working narcotics, I am well aware of the laws set up in Maryland for Title III violations or illegal recording/wiretaps. But I am really taken back that they would actually investigate Hannah and James, before they would open an investigation into the Fraud and Criminal Conspiracy Activity displayed in these tapes. I fought against drug dealers roughly my whole career, became an expert in court in narcotics and the investigation of narcotics. I just wonder how many drug dealers were able to obtain houses as a Pharmacist or Medical professional, because thats what they are really doing. I mean Marijuana is used for medicinal purposes isn't it?

Charlie Gibson must be living under a rock. Just another Liberal journalist fighting his own war. A war against the truth. Bias journalism is the rule of ABC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN. When I heard about ACORN on FOX, I was willing to tune in to the other networks to see what they had to say about ACORN to be fair and balanced. Nothing. I really wanted to make sure I did not judge ACORN based on only one network. Finally, CNN was called out by FOX, and they reported the story. Why did it have to be FOX asking the other networks to investigate ACORN? I kept giving the other networks a chance to tell the story and nothing. If a story hurts their party, it seems that the other networks will not cover the story no matter how important it is for the public to know. If the American public is tuning them off and the ratings of FOX is climbing higher and higher, it is because that is the only place where America can know the full story. So America have we now gotten to a point where FOX News is becoming the only network that is willing to inform us on the good, bad, and the ugly? I hope not. I do like to be able to have choices, but it is not looking good. It’s no wonder I watch FOX. How could anyone know where our tax money is going if no one is reporting these scams. Maybe Charlie does not mind where he hard earned tax money goes, but I do. So does millions of Americians. Does it really matter what party you belong to when your tax money is being given to corruption? I don’t think so. Good work by Hannah and James. I heard someone say today on O'Reilly that you guys went to dozens or even hundreds of ACORN offices in order to get the video we've seen. Of course, O'Reilly didn't challenge him about where he was getting those numbers, but it would be helpful to know how many offices you did visit in order to keep this type of misleading information from gaining a foothold.

Acorn claims that its employee ( Tresa Kaelke) knew she was being played by James and Hannah. Kaelke claims that her responses were all "acting" on her part to match the acting by J&H. Here is part of Kaelke's story:

You guys rock! I only hope that you guys stay safe. I know how bad ACORN is just from dealing with them on the mortgage front. I work for a Mortgage Co and we were approached by them to "partner" a product offering. They wanted us to provide 100% financing, with no mortgage insurance, low rates and provide closing cost assistance of $8000. What would we get in return?? No bad publicity. If we refused they said they would provide a PR nightmare for us. Needless to say – we never "got into bed" with them – thank God.

I hope you guys have 20 more examples ready to go. I don't know if you realize it, but what you have done is not unlike driving a stake through the heart of Dracula. The Democratic Party has relied on ACORN and they are a key element to their electoral strategy. If ACORN can be exposed for what it is, a criminal operation, they will be rendered useless to Democrats and even a burden. It has the potential of going a long way toward making elections fairer in districts where ACORN is strong and this could dramatically swing the balance of power in Congress. That means these two brave patriots could be in physical danger and I hope they are taking steps to protect themselves.
