This week, the Restore America’s Voice Foundation delivered 1.6 million petitions from Americans demanding the repeal of Obamacare to Congress. The Heritage Foundation attended the press conference and spoke to some legislators afterwards about the problems with Obamacare, the progress of the repeal effort, and the sorts of conservative solutions they would like to see introduced.

How about we just appeal obama?
Never retreat, never give up, never surrender.
Look at his poll numbers, look at the radicals assaulting Wall Street and the "spontaneous" groups sprouting up over the entire country. Dear Leader and his powerful supporters like Soros are calling out their storm troops….their thugs, bullies and street fighters. The drop in the polls and resorting to the use of thugs shows that Dear Leader and his senior henchmen know that he will be booted out of the White House and the Dems will loose control over the Senate.

I'm a thinking that a storm is brewing.
This is going to be a rough one.
I have been waiting for it since the mid-60's and the massive "peace protests." I was only in high school at the time but I could see that they were co-ordinated and that simple college students could not do that on their own. That is why I joined the John Birch Society. They were the only ones talking about the massive conspiracy being orchestrated by Moscow.
What you see today is the openings scenes of the battle for America. The commies of the 1930's, 40's and 50's, plus the SDS'ers from the '60's have all had kids and even grand kids. They have passed their hatred of America and capitalism on to those new generations. In other words, they have multiplied like a a virus. Before that virus destroys the America you and I were born into we need to route out and eradicate every bit of that disease.
This Congress is no longer fighting.
Time to change em out again until they finally get it…………………………………………

10 years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash. Now we have no jobs, no hope and no cash. All the moonbats are coming outta the woodwork now, I read on drudge they want to recapitalize Euro banks… hold on to your wallets boys and girls I think this one is gonna be on us…. This country really is ripe for revolution.
It will be interesting to see the gamesmanship they have to play in the supreme court. That is why they are out to hang Clarence Thomas. They need to tilt the court their way. It will just end up being another scam on america. When is somebody in Washington going to grow a pair and put out the impeachment call? It seems the GOP has no spine.

We need to keep up a consistent aggressive investigation on this nefarious Admin. We need to pour it on them from all sides constantly from now on! Multi-pronged approach, including City, State & Fed actions toward this Admin and their unacceptable activities.
I'd call it Project Restore! as in Restore America to itself before this treasonous marxist Admin came in and reminded US of the many Anti-Americans we have around, lurking in the wings.

I've been shot, stabbed, kidnapped, blown up and left for dead on several occasions. I never even got a free tee shirt, just a boatload of demons that followed me around for a long time, and who came to visit regularly in the wee, dark hours of the night. They are gone now, but I'm still here. Never retreat, never give up, never surrender has been my life's motto.
My participating at Breitbarts websites, happened only by a fluke, as it is totally out of character for me. By chance, I heard about this, the day before it was launched in 2009. I was here on the first thread, on day one, and have been here ever since. I like it, although I really do not know if what we do will make a difference in the scheme of things.
Why am I active?
Throughout the summer of 2009, I went to several Tea Party meetings, in several western, and central states. I got active because I have children, and grandchildren, and I want them to enjoy a part of America that I have lived, and seen. I attended numerous Town Halls, put on by several Congressmen and Senators. I was infuriated by the direction Washington was taking this Country.
On the very first thread here, on the very first day, I wrote that I want my country back.
I will give my life, to get it.
The issue is simple. You will KILL oCARE, or else you will be voted out of your cushy job as our
CONgressmen.

Death panels already exist in Medicare. When my dad was diagnosed w/esophageal cancer, Medicare refused to pay for his treatment because that cancer has a low survival rate. He'd have died an agonizing death in 6 months. What did Medicare offer instead of treatment? Hospice care. Was my dad over 90 and suffering multiple illnesses? No–he was only 66!
He did get treatment and lived three good YEARS. Every extra minute he got to spend w/his family was priceless.
Obamacare will be 100 times worse than Medicare. That's why we have to get rid of Obamacare and fix Medicare so other seniors won't go through the hell my dad did. SCOTUS had better make the right call.

I have not yet read it, but it addresses the very issues in your post. It is meticulously researched and well written, or so I understand.

It's kind of hard for this Congress to fight when the Senate is controlled by 53 brain dead Democrats. Fortunately in 2012 we not only get rid of the President who has no clue how to run the country we can hopefully kick at least 13 of those brain dead senators out of office. And if we do our job right the new Senate leadership is Rubio (assuming he doesn't become VP) and Rand Paul. Then you'll see some kick ass bills being done!

Obama care IS crony capitalism yet the left refuses to see this. Why? Because they will benefit from cronyism. If the gov monopolizes health care then we all have to do business with a select monopoly of corporations.

If Obamacare is repealed, there will never be a precedent on the court records declaring it unconstitutional from SCOTUS, which is a more powerful message.
If Congress manages to put it on hold AND somehow Obama signs it (fat chance) then in the future, they can come back and do another individual mandate on something else. After all, they don't have a SCOTUS ruling saying not to.
The difference it makes is that people like me can learn from people like you. I have not been anywhere near where you have been (–except the ranch). I need to know that people who think like my father still exist. (you are not old enough to be him, though)

Too few people are willing to say it. I think there are a lot of us who know something isn't right. Some folks can't name it. If Cain keeps talking, this is going to get VERY ugly for him. He HAS to be scaring the scheiss out of Jackson and his ilk, let alone the NBP and the rest of the Democratic Party's bludgeoning power. If Cain gets in and sweeps enough conservatives of either party along with him…the Left is toast for another 50-100 years.

The progressives have been at it for about 120 years or so. I kind of look at 1885 to 1890 as when they first got started.
I read something interesting on Friday, Until about 1890 the curriculum of Harvard was centered on the Bible. The whole idea was to educate Christian gentlemen. With that as a founding they could deal in a moral way with anything life might toss at them. All that changed when the Bible was supplanted by science and realism.
The SCOTUS will dump this communistic law. Then we the people will dump Obama's Marxist self.

The irony of my dad's story is that his private insurer, which Medicare had forced him from, picked up the tab–all $1 million-plus of it. No questions asked. He got the best treatment at the best hospital from the best oncologists in the country. He was just one of many customers of that insurer. I will always be grateful for mean, evil private insurers.
One thing for absolutely sure, Obamacare entrenches the insurance companies AND the healthcare systems. So we must get rid of it to make sure not-for-profits, like BCBS, don't benefit. You know what I'm saying?
CL, I am with you and so are a lot of others. We want our country back. My wife is from Japan and does not understand the passion behind my feelings toward the SOBs who are destroying America…the America you and I knew as kids. Her comment was that the "protestors" just had a different point of view. I told her on that was not the situation. It is not a matter of point of view. It is the basic concept of what America is and means. Is it the land of the free and the home of the brave or is it a land of slaves who are too timid to stand up for their freedom.
CL, what you did in those other countries and what I did in South America dealing with money launders means nothing. The real fight is here. You and I have to follow the rules….at this point lets call them the rules of engagement. We write, we talk to those who will listen, we get involved in the Tea Party and politicians…for me it is Herman Cain….and we wait for the balloon to go up. I'm all stocked and have been for years. Obamacare is the Dem’s fix to Social Security, rationed healthcare will remove people from the SS rolls in an efficient manner. The irony is government directly caused healthcare and insurance costs to skyrocket through regulations and taxes, now some are asking government to fix it. What happened to the outrage over the condition of VA hospitals? If the Dem’s would have made VA hospitals state of the art I might believe they could fix it for everybody.

Bush's greatest presidential legacy are the appointments he made to federal judgeships and on the SCOTUS. Obama has appointed two judical communists who'll ignore the constitution in favor of what the committed communist and chief wants. Also, just as a point of information, it was Kagan who helped craft (if you can call it that) Obamacare. She should recuse herself from reviewing the case, as it would be as if a lawyer for the defense of a guilty criminal was suddenly elevated to the judge of the case, with final say. That doesn't bother communists much, but it should bother every American who understands the constitution is not to be messed due to judicial fiat.
