NAACP Looks for Relevance In Wrong Place…Race

My reaction to the idea of the NAACP declaring the citizen movement known as the Tea Party as racist is ridiculous. I am Black. I have spoken at over twenty rallies and conferences. I have talked directly with hundreds of tea party activists, and have received hundreds of calls from activists to my nightly radio show. Tea Party people are patriots, who want the federal government to stop the spending, stop the legislative abuse, stop the tax increases and start adhering to the Constitution.
It is unfortunate that a once relevant and impactful organization is looking for relevance in the wrong place, namely, race. It should be about unity instead of divisiveness.
I have been called a sell-out, an Uncle Tom and shameless because I disagree with this President’s policies. Those who are calling me those names have probably never been to a Tea Party event, and I doubt officials of the NAACP have attended an event either. Those that would like to join the name calling parade should save themselves some time. In my grandfather’s vernacular, “I does not care!”
This President ran on a campaign of hope and change, but his change is not working … over 4 million Americans lost jobs in 2009, the unemployment rate has gone from 7.6% in January 2009 to 9.5% in June 2010, the unemployment rate for Black Americans is over 15% and not getting better, and the national debt has increased exponentially to over $13 trillion since January 2009.
Tea Party people are not racist…they are Patriotic Americans who want the greatest country in the world to remain the greatest, by exercising their right to make their voices heard.
This isn’t about race. This is about results, and the results by this administration are missing in action.

I condemn the NAACP for discontinuation of Quisp, Frankenberry, Count Chocula, and Banana Frosted Flakes. In each case, someone involved in the decision making process had a third cousin whose neighbor once sat next to an NAACP member on a Southbound bus after 4:00 in the afternoon on an odd-numbered day. Coincidence? I think not!
And I also condemn the NAACP for Joanie Loves Chachi.

Persistance is key to any movement and the TEA Party cannot allow itself to get dragged into these spurious side issues. Our message is pure: stop the waste and abuse of power in Washington DC.
Social Justice is merely cover for maintaining inequality in our pubic lives. MLK cared about injustice and spoke out for EQUALITY. NAACP has strayed too far from its mission.

These people understand that this is about results. The results they are looking for are the ones that keep them in power. Get your friends to vote, and their friends as well. Together we can pull ourselves out of the spiral of economic malaise and joblessness. As Herman Cain said, "This isn’t about race. This is about results," and the results certainly have not lived up to anyone's expectations, especially those that were built up by the main stream media. In a perfect world, it is always good strategy to sow despair and chaos on ones adversaries. Imagine the MSM, the NAACP, the New Black Panther Party, the Nation of Islam, AND the Democratic Party's collective despair, if there would be a Herman Cain/Sarah Palin ticket in 2012. There would be such a collective explosion, and implosion on the left, that it would register as a seismic event. They would be speechless………..

I am an American citizen and I stand for what this country was founded upon and I absolutely love my country first but I do not speak for the sake or to the benefit of expanded government or political gain. As an American I define myself by my love for liberty first and foremost, the founding "fathers" and for the vision they so clearly set forth so many long years ago.
Many would have us believe that their vision is no longer relevant to the struggle for equal justice under the law but instead seek to replace that beautiful aspiration with an insane perversion of justice. The perversion is "social justice" for the sake of political ends and it is the most insidious abomination of actual justice in the history of this good Earth.
Institutions and societies have been convened in order to propagate its fruition, world bodies have been empower to provide for their preeminence above the rule of law and to the detriment of the American people. The power brokers have long been working to provide for its provenance and their goals are near completion central to which is the dissolution of the American society which I gladly give my loyalty to above their desires.
My loyalty to my wholly beloved "REBUBLIC" stands in service of God and just behind my love of family as the foundation of original self governance and justice.
Whether you are a believe in Jesus Christ, Allah, Buddha or deity at all the ultimate goals of American exceptionalism are grounded in the "equal justice for all citizens" not social justice for some. I firmly believe in my savior and lord my God and his only begotten son is Jesus Christ, if you do not follow this belief I still hold your differing belief in the highest regard and respect.
I choose the path of Christianity because it is the first entitlement to liberty mentioned first and foremost in the Constitution and wisely bestowed upon all of the peoples of the Earth in 1789.
The ratification of the US constitution is still regarded as the greatest document of inalienable rights in the history of mankind and rightly so.
Some believe that thse original documents "live and breathe" so allow me to be absolutely clear, they do not in any terms stand as a "living entity", they stand as a monument to the unbreakable spirit of mankind. The concept of a "living document" is in and of itself a perversion of its original intent as the foundation of human liberty, any suggestion that it is anything other than a monument to liberty is an absolute lie.
My liberties comes from my God and nature as clearly reiterated in the Constitution as an immutable self evident truth, the left twould like to undermine and destroy this concept. They believe that they can redefine what belief in and adherence to God means for the sake of "social justice" above "equal justice under the law" for greatly expanded power over the minds of men. The central organizing concept of government is our family above all, God guides that first principle of government and our constitution simply reinforces those foundations for the liberty of all mankind.
I am an American, I love my God and my family is my strength, I am different as an American for the fact that I am "trans gendered" but I stand in unity with my fellow man and my family as a creature of God above all.
Many have attempted to co opt my foundation in God and for my love of country to their own political ends, I defy them to challenge my sincerity or to topple my heart's beliefs.
I am a proud person, not for or of my personal choice of sexual identity but my for love and pride in God and country above all.
God placed me on this Earth for a reason and it was not to force my knee to bow before any man or king, he placed me here to face the challenge of my life in his grace with dignity.
Let me be perfectly clear my rights are already guaranteed by God and my liberties come from him I do not require any other liberties than already exist in nature or God's love.
I do not desire or wish for right or privilege above my fellow man, my life is my own and no person should ever be held responsible for those decisions, nobody "owes me" one damned thing on this Earth. My decision to face my demons and to live up to God's challenge to me did not come lightly or without strife and I firmly believe he is more concerned with my self governance than my political loyalties.
I stand here today and reveal myself to you in honor of the struggle for human liberty over all of God's creation and in spite of those that seek to rule me or corrupt my convictions for their "collective" political gain.
I honor America and I love America and may her promise and struggle for equal justice forever continue to shine as a beacon for the love of our brothers and sisters yearning to be free in the eyes of God.

Herman-Ive heard you many times on the radio, most recently as a sub for Sean Hannity. One of the differences between conservatives and leftist commies is that conservatives will respect you now matter what your skin color is. All we ask is that you be a solid law-abiding citizen. Unlike the statist commies, who hate everything , especially themselves, so they must project there misery and failures onto everyone else. Same with Islam, which hates everything not moslem and even moslems not considered moslem enough. Easy to see why Malik Booboo Shabbyass and Queeranal X from Houston take on moslem names(Paris Lewis , there Malik?), since Islam hates everything and blames everythign except there own stupidity and incompetence. On the other hand, conservatives universally espect Herman Cain and Lt Col Alan West, because these men have a great content of character, something lost in both statist communism and Islamic Supremacy ideologies.

I want to urge all patriots to remember one thing. When the economy actually turns the corner it will in-effect trigger massive inflation. With the Fed printing and borrowing money on steroids, there is allot more pain to come. I am no economist, but history tells me we our in for allot more pain to come. Just remember who is truly responsible. It will happen. Jimmy Carter, is a perfect example of these failed polices of the past, he gave us double digit unemployment, and double digit inflation. Hey ,sorebird. I worked for the Feds for 10 yrs. At the time, (1970's) the payroll deduction for the federal employees version of SS was twice that of the private sector SS. BIG difference was and still is, is that congress can't dip their grubby fingers in it and spend it on other crap…..then just promise to pay it back. The Feds program really IS in a Lockbox. This never gets talked about when the subject of SS comes up. And NO congressman wants to change it.
When I quit, they wrote me a check for the money, a big one, then I could do what I wanted with it.
They don't want to contribute under SS, cause it sucks. And they don't want to lockbox SS, because then they couldn't spend it .

It doesn't matter if you're talking about a race relations organization or a poverty program……………….The immediate and ultimate goal of the program should be to make themselves IRRELEVANT. Every poverty program is set up to help people in poverty. But the only way for the program to "grow" is for more people to live in poverty. Most race relations organizations were set up to eliminate racial inequalities. But the only way for the organizations to "grow" is if there is MORE racial inequality.
I'd say if any of these organizations are not working their way towards irrelevance, then they are not part of the solution. They are part of the problem.

I think it is important to remember that MLK stood for equality OF OPPORTUNITY and not equality OF OUTCOME. I know that is what you meant, but I felt it was prudent to stipulate that point just the same. I'm sure that MLK would also be revolted by the proglib notion of "social justice" and collective salvation. That was never his dream. Too many within the NAACP have perverted his work and his message. I'm glad to see that many others have not forgotten what it was really all about.

I love that guy. He's a little louder than I like my pastors to be but I believe his statements are a result of his faith and his love for this country. He is so right about Obama and those who voted for him. I've always considered myself anti-establishment but that was only because the corruption was so evident even when I was growing up. Today it's even worse.
It would seem that FOX news, among others, has been lax in their effort , till now, to frequently show footage of Black Tea Party members, leaders and speakers. To overcome these malicious claims I think it's more important now than ever that we put a spotlight on the black members for the sake of all who may have doubts about the motives and convictions of the movement and it's membership.
Obama is nothing more than "Bush III" in hyperdrive. And it's not wise to tout Clinton's record since it was abysmal for the first two years with a Dem Congress and successful with the following 6 years of a Repub Congress.
As for "green technologies," I recommend supporters of the fake environmental movement put more focus on technologies (industrial hemp, slow electron bombardment of nuclear waste, helium-3) being sidelined in the name of taxes, solar, biomass, and wind which are all mediocre at best in their benefits.

Very eloquently put! I find it incredulous when the progressives/liberals try to bend the meaning of the Constitution to justify their agendas. Case in point: the 2nd Amendment clearly states that the right to own Arms "shall not be infringed", yet they keep trying to dilute what this right really means. This President has abused the Constitution and the powers given to his office more than any other. The innumerable "Czars" and the recess appointments are a clear example of him avoiding proper vetting and approval of his appointees. The leaders in Congress are just as bad. The deals being made even carry the corruption across party lines. The good people of this country owe it to themselves and their county to vote out all of those who would corrupt our ways and laws during the next elections. If we do not stand up now we will forever be transformed into a disastrous future as a third world socialist country.
