ACORN–The LA Story, Part II: ‘We knew we were gonna put in Obama.’
by Gary HewsonI was driving to my local OSH hardware store in West L.A. yesterday to buy some tools for the house where I spotted an ACORN rally across the street at some FOX studio. After buying some supplies, I went into my car to get the brand new hand-held HD video camera I had purchased just the night before for an upcoming vacation. With camera in hand, I walked towards the protesters to gather some pictures and video footage of the rally. I also called my friend Andrew Breitbart and suggested he come down. I had a feeling he’d be interested.
But before he could make it to the rally, an ACORN organizer had crossed the street and approached me with an ACORN flyer in her hand. As she started to talk, I clicked the record button of the new camera I had bought on a whim, not knowing what it would capture or how it even worked, for that matter. I heard the same things you will now hear on this recording. Three minutes later I walked away in shock. I started to tremble from what she admitted to me with utter nonchalance. I walked inside a nearby store and found a quiet place to play the tape for myself and realized that I had wintessed something maybe no one was ever supposed to hear:

That second picture of the ACORN organizer almost made me ruin my keyboard when I laughed with a mouthful of coffee. LOL
Maybe I should be shocked, but I'm not. It's no surprise to me that they would do all this. They're a ruthless group with bad intentions preying on people who are hurt. It's like pimps and prostitutes. Get the people who are vulnerable and hurting, convince them you love 'em, then turn 'em out for your own benefit. Sickening.
Is anyone surprised? I'm only surprised that this woman would openly admit these things to a stranger, but she is not the first and from what I'm hearing at BG–not the last. Stay tuned.

What we need is popular support. People need to speak up, demonstrate their support of conservative representatives and support for prosecuting and stopping this "activism". When that happens then the proof will be found when the investigations start.

Watch how they play the game though. This woman is a "volunteer". They like volunteers, and community organizers. That way, they can keep it all at arms length. When trouble brews, they (Acorn) can say: "that is not our official policy, they were volunteers acting alone". It is the ACORN Kabuki dance.
We CAN NOT just sit around and wait for the election in 2012 to boot Obama out. Something MUST be done NOW to get him out of office.

This women really believes what she is doing is for the good of her people. Until there is a mindset change nothing can be done for them. Who will stand up, that they will listen to, and help them see what is really happening to them?
You can hear this very same sort of stuff about a lot of government programs and not-so-secret agendas on any Sunday morning in Black Liberation Theology churches. And you could have heard it for years and years, like Obama did. And politicians can visit such churches to raise funds for their campaigns, and yet the churches can remain tax-exempt. They are a religious front for a political movement. I'd love to see some camera work in these churches. Wouldn't that just be an eye-opener for all the hand-wringing Leftists who think they're loved by their minority voters?
The unions are also merely a front for a political agenda. It's not about the workers and their lot, it's about a few corrupt leaders getting their graft while the getting is good. Might be too late to infiltrate their ranks and learn where the bodies are buried.
And our government agencies do pretty much the same thing now, too. They are a front for a political agenda and will soon be able to openly deny public benefits to non-Party citizens.

I almost died laughing the other day-BO SAYING “HE was the commander in chief of the American people and he deserves respect!” Respect is earned, and the way I see it-he’s a “bag full of lies!”

Might I suggest that every conservative and liberatarian wire themselves up for sound and talk to as many ACORN/SEIU people as possible in public places where they have no right to privacy, you will have to swallow hard and pretend to be one of them.
It's going to take evidence that they have NO chance of spinning becasue as far as ACORN and the media because you know they will just ignore it if they can, or at best brush this off as one non-official womens spin on things, etc, etc
As my Scottish-American grandpa used to say “give em enough rope to hang themselves with”. Other things come to mine “reap what you sow”, “Karma”, “goes around, comes around” etc…What is troubling me so much about all of these ACORN videos coming out is the complete lack of any moral judgement from ACORN reps. Is there no outrage in this community? Are they so lacking in decency that they would willingly overlook the plight of underage prostitutes and the importance of an honest election process? I guess you would have to say yes. When a segment of the population decides to vote for a candidate “because he looks like them” then I guess I’m not surprised that they would be willing to do ANYTHING to achieve their ends. They’re too ignorant to notice that the very person they put into office will bring about their downfall.

Hey RadioPatriot it’s already happened. Look at NY-23. It may well turn out that Hoffman won but the damange is already done by Owens. Hoffman, by conceding the election too soon gave Owens the go-ahead to take the seat and then vote for Obamacare. If Hoffman had held his concession (like Al Gore in 2000) then the seat would have been held up and thus the vote in the house for the HC bill would have been held up. When will our side stop playing by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules? We need to realize that this is a street fight and stop being so gentlemanly about everything. The shenanigans we are finding out about NY-23 are infuriating. Several precincts that have gone for the right in the past were showing 0 votes? 10,000 absentee ballots again which have historically gone for the right have yet to be counted? I mean WTF? Let this be a lesson to the right. If it means a delay in some elections next year our side needs to make sure that all votes have been counted and in the cases of shenanigans court cases filed before conceding defeat. This has been the Dem playbook since 2000 and will continue until/unless we get as many of them thrown out as possible.

Unfortunately, you are wrong. The bottom 50% of income earners in 2007 paid 3% of the collected income taxes. The top 10% paid 70% of the collected income taxes. The top 1% paid more taxes than the bottom 95%. The population is being taxed disproportionately. Those who have and achieve are carrying those who don't. Eventually, the top earners will quit working and our economy will shut down. So what should Conservatives have learned here? Never, ever, ever concede a race until all ballots are counted or our % difference is greater than the % of ballots left to count. On the latter, I might still not concede unless it was a blowout.
Neither shocked not surprised. I know they're breaking the law but I knew that before and I also know Eric Holder's DOJ will do nothing about it. They didn't go after armed Black Panthers intimidating voters on video. They won't go after SEIU thugs beating people up at town hall meetings. And they won't go after ACORN. The best you can hope for is they die a slow death as al their funding sources dry up from bad publicity.

Forget smoking gun, you are going to need high-speed video of the lead coming out of the barrel, into the target and back to the shooter without a frame drop. What this lady is saying, plausibly, is that these are accusations… EMPTY accusations against ACORN brought by Fox and others. Except the admission of being, at root and in fact, a partisan organization by legal definition but that is a thin reed to say the least. There might be an angle to bring their non-profit status under question but there is no standing for anyone disposed to do such a thing so far and from a PR standpoint I think you will find the response to be “Duh”. So, back to the line. ACORN has taken some good shots and Barry was expecting to use them as his phalangists and THAT has come acropper but that ain’t all. Not by a long country mile.

I read the transcript. My reaction is: so? Everyone knows ACORN is front for Obama, and he has allocated hundreds of millions to “stimulate” them. In other words: nothing we haven’t already known, no smoking gun, not even a smoking match.

I understood her to say “…we got X amount of millions [of people] voting for him.” Not money they received (although they received 800 grand for get out the vote), but people they got to vote for Obama.
Other than the fact that she said that everyone knew in the organization that they're campaigning for Obama when they were supposed to be non partisan (and everyone knows that they were an arm of the campaign), there isn't anything new here. Most if it is her explaining what's going on from the ACORN perspective/spin (effectively admitting that what's on the tapes are what happened and that they damaged the reputation of the group).
As others have said, this is a dog bites man story. Unless there is something else here in the recordings such as threats and such, not much to see here in comparison to the more exceptional and great coverage that Breitbart has already covered with the sting videos. The Moonbeam angle is far far more important than a bunch of trained protesters-for-rent.

I think that some of these people do not know that what they are doing is illegal or wrong. I think some of them actually do good work for the people in their community and hook them up with things that may help them. Those people are often poor and all around disadvantaged and do not understand or maybe even care that the people at the top running the show are rotten. They do not understand that what they are being told, what they are instructed to do – that it is bad or illegal. If they do, they are like everyone else that does something they know is not exactly kosher… they justify it.
As shocking as it all is, what the heck will be done about it? Big Governement call scream it from the rooftops, but if people are unwilling to pass the info along or if the people in charge are not willing to mete out justice…

If only Democrats would put this much effort into honest causes, like job growth, decent education, family values, etc. This country would be in better shape. But in order to get something 'for nothing' you must first take from someone else. But that's the plan, isn't it? This makes FOX look even better. The fact that these corrupt groups don't protest the other networks is certainly telling.

The Dems are also known for manipulating voting machines in Dem districts, run by Dems, so that they can resort to a paper ballot. Once the count is known, that's when votes start showing up in the back of cars, in closets, drawers or in safes floating down the river. Remember the Dem in FL2999 who got caught with a voting machine in his car trunk?

She is telling the truth. Some years ago, I worked for them temporarily when I was desparate for work. I didn't know who they were or what they were about. I just needed income. Breitbart has a video of SEIU going to mailboxes for some election going on in CA. These union people were taking absentee ballots of these people's mailboxes and intimidating them to vote how SEIU wanted them to. They threatened them that they would lose their jobs, their homes, and that people knew where they lived. That's the only way Obama won this election. THey just got by with it again in NY23. I think there should be a huge investigation on elections really soon also. Eric Holder needs to resign. He's in way too keep and I just pray that the filth on this guy comes out before they bring those terrorists to NY. They will get off because I bet they weren't given Miranda rights.
