Obama’s Economy: Stop the Madness
by Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA)The Democrats’ disconnect with kitchen table issues and the reality faced by families, workers, and small businesses is growing more evident by the minute. The reckless agenda being pushed by Speaker Pelosi, President Obama, and many Democrats on Capitol Hill is not helping struggling Americans and small business job creators – but it is hurting our country. Their agenda continues to expand the reach of government, increase the deficit to alarming levels, and require even more money from foreign countries. On everything from spending to cap-and-trade to card check, jobs and fiscal responsibility have taken a back seat.

This disconnect will reach new heights next week as the President and Speaker Pelosi prepare to fly to Copenhagen to promote job killing cap & trade legislation as unemployment continues to rise and the deficit continues to soar here at home. Cap and Trade is a tax raising scheme that some wrongly believe can reduce carbon emissions. It starts with the misguided belief that Washington can identify a commodity, assess its value and charge people for its use. That is contrary to the America many of us believe in, and contrary to the reality that free markets should determine the price of commodities.
Small businesses, families, and young workers would have to pay an additional charge to turn on the light switch, to fill up the gas tank, or do whatever it is that Washington regulates. Has the President or the Speaker considered the impact of these tax increases? I don’t think the American people, especially during these tough times, want Washington to tell us what kind of fuel to use, what kind of car to drive, when we can turn on our lights – and then taxing us to do so.
It’s time to stop the madness. Putting aside, for the moment, the recent global warming scandal, the resignation of Phil Jones, and the serious questions surrounding his research, the President and the Speaker have far more pressing problems to worry about here at home – namely stopping runaway spending, getting our fiscal house back in order, and working on some common-sense solutions that get Americans back to work.

Congressman Canter now that there are clear questions to the methodology used for global warming research (there actually has been for a long time) could you and your fellow republicans please tell Senator Lindsey Graham that he is a Dumb@SS
Happy to oblige… Lindsay Grahamnesty is a total Dumb@ss
Rep Cantor,
Ok, great article, but what are YOU doing to try to stop it? You and people like John "the hair" Boehner write these nice fluff pieces, but I don't see anything happening to intervene, or see any alternate solutions from you guys. If you guys really want us to believe your intentions are sincere you have to give up your special interests, your re-election ambitions, and all of your lobbyists, and then maybe the American people will actually believe what you are preaching.
"Wherever there is interest and power to do wrong, wrong will generally be done."……… James Madison
"Has the President or the Speaker considered the impact of these tax increases? " I'm sure they have and they like wha they see. More money and power for pols.
.
It’s time to stop the madness.
Short of putting 'em down like rabid dogs, what would you suggest? It's obvious that reason has taken a long walk on the short pier of politics, money talks louder than any moral obligation, and the two-edged sword of class-and race-mongering has been honed to a killing edge that defies hyperbole to top its outrageous manifestations against innocent citizens. And votes are meaningless if the vote-counters are also corrupt.
How shall we answer, without sounding like a madman?
.
Umm, tell me something I don't know.
A new course of action is called for.
Below is link to a note I wrote in February 2009 on the eve of passage of the stimulus bill. As discussions grow about another round of Keynesian trapdoor, I will leave it to you to decide if my comments proved right, or wrong. I titled it "It May Be a C#$@ Sandwich, But I Tell Myself it is Liverwurst."
Excerpt:
On Friday, during our company meeting, as I was girding our team for a long pull, one gentleman way in the back tentatively raised his had during the question and answer period. His question was simple and powerful: Does the stimulus mean anything for us and our jobs?
I will leave it to your prejudices to guess whether the question came from an engineer, a customer service professional, a machinist, a welder, an assembler, an IT professional, an accounting staffer, a manager, a warehouse person, a sales person, or an executive. Suffice it to say the question was poignant, appropriate, brilliant, and the answer; not so much.

Rep. Cantor,
Why don't you grow a set, stand up like a man and do something, other than paying lip service. It appears Madame Pelosi has emasculated you, Boehner and the rest of HER CON-gress……….
Ha! The comments are scrolling upward. Bad news for Cowboy Logic!!
)
Barbara couldn't have said it better myself
They have to have the votes to stop it , and they don't. Unfortunately, elections have consequences…
Both teams suck
Much like Congress, the comments section here is eff'd up backwards. Ah, well. The last shall be first!
Although I agree with the second part of your post, I disagree that Republicans have no alternate solutions. They just can't get them past committee or Pelosi to a vote.
However, if the Repubs had done their job the past 15 years and actually fixed things instead of doing nothing, we wouldn't even be having this discussion, and Democrats would not have Super-majorities.
Blame yourself Cantor. There's nobody else to blame.
Joan top left of comments use the sort by option
Cap and tirade will cost several million jobs. To prevent jail for not buying health insurance, many will have heat turned off. The tax will also punish those that are near starvation with food price increases.
It starts with the misguided belief that Washington can identify a commodity, assess its value and charge people for its use. That is contrary to the America many of us believe in, and contrary to the reality that free markets should determine the price of commodities.
… it's also UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
Now when did I ever hit that option??! LOL!! Pay no attention to the idiot behind the keyboard. I was gonna bust Cowboy Logic for being last for once.
)
The GOP, if they had balls, would WALK OUT of the Congress in protest.

Rep Cantor,
Living in Virginia myself in your district (7th) I've written you NUMEROUS times and have received "canned" responses each time.
As stated above, I want to know what you are going to do! I WANT YOU to TAKE ACTION! STAND UP! You talk a GREAT game, but you need to DO SOMETHING. NObama is the worst thing that EVER happened to this country, He is the MOST CORRUPT President EVER. He has VIOLATED LAW and the CONSTITUTION! He is DESTROYING our WAY OF LIFE!
If any President needs to be IMPEACHED he DOES. He should be tried for TREASON!
Why have you not pursued his real BIRTH CERTIFICATE? Did NObama give up his citizenship when his family took him overseas?
HELP US!
It would be a thing of amazing candor for Cantor himself to join the discussion. Or even read the comments.
I want a pony, too, as long as I'm wishing . . .
Eric Cantor is ANOTHER big gov’t Statist NeoCon RINO just like Graham.
He voted for TARP1 and HATES the 10th Amendment limitations on Federal power just as much as Nancy Pelosi. He’s in my district and he’s one of the egocentric, self-centered, Warmongering, Interventionalist, lock-stepping, Statist NeoCon JERKS who helped KILL the Republican party by making it ACT like the Democratic party.
Eric’s words mean NOTHING, but his actions tell us EVERYTHING!
In order to save our Republican, FREE market Capitalist (not Corporatist) form of gov’t, we can and MUST do better than Eric Cantor!! The Republicans are being lead by the SAME NeoCon Statists who brought us the un-Patriotic Act and doubled the national debt!
Anybody BUT Cantor who is nothing but a poisoned apple!
great comments above, and as you can see Nr. Cantor…..many of us are very frustrated. Why will CONgress conduct hearings on two party crashers at WH, but not investigate Rangel?? Dodd?? audit the FED??? Stop spending money we don't have??? Cut up the US govt. credit cards and Just say NO!
I am very discouraged by the corruption, pork spending, multiplicity of ongoing ammendmants to bills to accomodate all the whores ($300,000,000)….on and on……just stop spending! and let businesses get back to work. As a samll business owner, i am scared to death of all the new taxes coming our way to pay for this financial mess. Face it we as a country arre bankrupt, in denial, and immature whiners all becoming more dependant on entitlements and handouts to buy vortes — our founders must be upset with our pathetic leaders.
Vodka Pills are good food. Loaded with fiber.
I'd hate to think that the only alternative we have is that these idiots will only stop when Thatcher's prediciton comes true:
"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of someone else's money" — Margaret Thatcher
I never understand when people think politicians (in particular liberal pols) are dumb or don't know what they are doing with regards to a specific bill. Of COURSE they know what they are doing. Ignorance would only be the case if the pols had the people's interests in mind, but the noble "public servant" is almost entirely a myth these days. Egomaniacs all vie to get to DC to get their piece of the pie. Pelosi could give a crap about cap-and-trade's job-killing future: go back to Cloward-Piven. Create "crisis", assume control, implement utopia.
She cares about botox more than the people
Barak Obama, his czarist administration and the freak show democrats in congress are responsible for taking a bad but fixable economic situation and using it to blaze a path of destruction through this country.
They call themselves progressives which is just a term for socialists, faschists,Marxists and communists.People in this country gave them the power and they're going to wield it until they're thrown out. They've caused a lot of damage to this country to date and will do a lot more in the next year.
They're career politicians, incumbants who could care less about the people who voted for them.Legistating for special interest has been going on in this country for decades in both parties.Although the the level of evil coming from Obama and the Pelosi democrats is amazing.I've been watching this country spiral down for a long time but now finally I hope we hit bottom and are ready to head back up.
Salty,
I agree with you that we're close to bottom. The problem now, as evidenced by Mr. Cantor's post, is that all of these guys take the "Gentlemen's" position…talk about the problems but continue to be a part of them…forget the "Down and Dirty". We'll begin to fix this thing when there are enough people in Congress who refuse to take the Gentlemen's path.
johnadams above, asked the question very well: "Why will CONgress conduct hearings on two party crashers at WH, but not investigate Rangel?? Dodd?? audit the FED??? " Does this make any sense??

A PROPHETIC 1944 SPEECH
Norman Mattoon Thomas (November 20, 1884 – December 19, 1968), and some of us are old enough to remember him running for President, was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America.
Norman Thomas said this in a 1944 speech:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” He went on to say: “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform.”
Rep. Eric Cantor,
Next time you stop by would you please put effort into your post. Solutions Rep. Cantor are what we need not someone stopping by to whine asking for crackers.
I replied to a post up top and thought it might be better put right out front for all to see without digging.

Ah poor poor Lindsey Grahamnesty. I hate that fake folks sham clown. He pretends that there's a childish fight everytime he speaks and then acts (it makes me cringe) like he's the Mr Rogers adult that is going to step in and set the bullies straight. When in fact what is really true is that he's like a child molesting clown on crack that has heard he'll get some sweaty money if he can hold things together long enough for the police to drive out of sight.
Well Lindsey you lying perverted sack of crap…what do you say for your lying self on the global warming sham? I mean just like your Grahamnesty it's covered with feces and laid bare for all to see the truthof it with your hands in its pants all the way up to your shoulders.
Whythe F*k doesn't Eric Cantor have the B*s to call it out like that?
Rep Cantor.
I agree with everything you say but, as a politician you must understand that we do not trust you or any of your clan in Washington. What have you ever done to make our lives what we want them to be?? This Dem/Repub back and forth is a joke. A blind and stupid ape could get things right more often than Washington can. As Obama said this week, the only solution for Afghanistan is to send in the troops. What the hell do you thing the only cure for Washington is.??
I say throw every last one out. The ones who claim to represent us would of a long time ago shouted out in protest if they truely cared about the state of our country. Instead we get lip service and fake furrowed brows.
Its time to start electing the COMMON man or woman and not self-centered politicians who from day one were in
politics for the power and prestige it brings.
Only in the US wants the party that lost all important elections to continue the reign of the country. Once again, GOP, you lost- now get lost and let the Dems do their thing. If people don't like Dems, they might vote for you again some time. Or for a Third Party that doesn't monger wars.
Mr. Cantor,
As a former Tom Davis foot solder from the 11th District of VA, I have to tell you that I'm disgusted with your party. I say "your" party, not "our" party, because I am now registered with no affiliation. The massive expansion of government under the GOP when you were in power ran 100% against the alleged core values of the Republican party. Until you find your way, I'll be voting against the incumbent in every election regardless of party. At least I can keep the rats from becoming entrenched that way.
PS: Dump Palin, or stop criticizing Obama as an empty suit with no experience. The GOP has experienced governors (ie Pawlenty, Jindal) who can make a credible run in 2012.
Looks like Honduras has figured out how to not only stop the madness, but tell everyone who doesn't like it to step off. That includes our inept President who expected to see Zelaya reinstated for the interim:
Politician after politician insisted that they were right the first time when they voted to oust Mr Zelaya for ignoring a Supreme Court order to cancel a referendum on changing the constitution. …
“My vote is [a lesson] for anyone who pretends to perpetuate himself in power. My vote is so that my son can look at me and say ‘Dad, you defended democracy,” said Antonio Rivera of Mr Lobo’s conservative National Party.
Imagine that: a politician defending democracy with actions, not words. We should do as much, Rep. Cantor. When the GOP gets that kind of spine, get back to us.
Thanks OLJ
Sadly, we can find many, many examples of how we've been forewarned about the consequences of our inaction, and the progress of the Liberal Agenda. It should now start to become obvious to more and more Americans that we're a long, long, way down the track and the window gets smaller day by day. Once again, thanks!
Even though the seeds of the mortgage racket were planted by Team Bubba where were the Republicans when the bankruptcy laws were rewritten in advance of the housing meltdown (someone knew something)?
And where were the Republicans when mortgage reform was shot down in 2006 – the year they could have halted the absolutely most toxic of the toxic debt? (again someone knew something)
And the counter party risks at AIG? Sorry Dimon. But let's call the Bear event what is really was. It was a JP Morgan Bailout.
I'd go on and on and on and on Eric. The 'transgressions' (wink to Tiger) of Republicans over the past decade is almost worst than the Democrats. I expect complete incompetence and a lack of fiduciary duty from people playing for Team Soros. But incompetence from Team America is unforgivable.
Thank you, Rep. Cantor, for your post. The disconnect is arrogance. Arrogance for the people because certain elected officials think they know better than we do as to how to spend our money. Arrogance for the voters because they believe they're smarter than we are. Arrogance for taxpayers because they think taxpayers aren't saddled with enough already, especially in a recession. Arrogance for business which needs to be subjugated, not encouraged to flourish and create jobs. Arrogance for the opposition because they dare question their agenda. Arrogance for the constitution and its commitment to liberty from government. They've forgotten that they're supposed to be servants, not bosses.
Ultimately, however, it's due to a deep divide in ideology of those who believe government should be in control ("Statists" as spoken about in Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny) and those who believe that government should be limited. I'm deeply saddened by the voters who elected this overwhelming "Statist" majority in the House and Senate. Many say, well, the voters get the government they deserve. Me? I will continue to fight, though it appears to be an uphill battle, because I believe the Statists will attempt to further straitjacket this country with more taxes and strangle liberty…because they can. They've got the votes.
What?! Give up lobbyists?! BLASPHEME!!!!! Truth to tell, every single candidate that has run without taking a dime of special interest money and is committed to fiscal conservatism has received my support, and it will take more people doing the same to send the message that the status quo will no longer be tolerated or supported just because it is the lesser of two evils. Jason Chaftez is one of the freshmen from Utah that is of the breed i'd like to see in prominence within the Republican party.
Mr. Cantor outlined real solutions just yesterday at Heritage. You can see them here: http://ow.ly/HXDy and GOP and here http://ow.ly/IhoT
I find myself often times frustrated by what I see in the Republican party as they espouse the conservative beliefs for the most part, but it ends there. The blood has grown to thin in the party, and the rush to be more "inclusive" has only lead to a watering down of the party which in turn does nothing but handicap what little ability may remain to combat the policies currently being rammed down our throats. RINOS exist because the party would rather be "inclusive" instead of maintaining principles and values.
If you throw your support to someone just because you think they can win in a more left leaning district yet they do not fully embrace your core principles, then what have you accomplished when they become the swing vote that always does you in? Support the candidates that ARE true to your core principles, even when they may lose. Call out your own members who betray the core principles, and do not walk the walk but only talk the talk. Clean up your own house. When you stop coming across as just another flavor of hypocrite and truly begin standing for something, then those who hold those same beliefs will follow and support. I don't want the lesser of two evils, I want what is seen as right when standing alone, not when simply compared to a crappier choice.
Hey Cantor–Tell us something we don't know!!!! The question is, WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT!!!!!!! I live in the 5th District and have to put up with Perriello. My first vote was for the GREATEST PRESIDENT in our era in 1980 and have been a registered Republican since. Whey don't you learn from Ronnie and call a spade a spade. I will be changing my party affiliation to Independent and you and your Republican cohorts will have to EARN my vote! I encourage all to register as an Independent since the Republican party has lost their way. Cantor–IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM AND I HOPE THE VOTERS OF THE 7TH DISTRICT VOTE YOU OUT AND AND REPLACE YOU WITH A REAL MAN AND WILL FIGHT FOR HIS PRINCIPLES NO MATTER WHAT THE COST. Captial letters are intentional Cantor!!!
Thanks for the links. I hope next time he might include them in his posts here.
Your entire paragraph is based off the premise that just because the republicans wern't doing things people liked that the democrats either can't be doing it worse, we shouldnt care because it is thier turn, or they are infact doing it right.
In the case of the first one: This is obviously devoid of all logic, because just because someone is a screw up doesn't mean the next guy wont screw it up more.
In the case of the second one: Even if it was there turn since they got more votes, it would be insanity to let people do something that was even more harmful than harm that has already been done. Thus, possibility 2 is also devoid of all logic.
In the case of the third one: Support what they are doing with historical evidence and logic in the areas of the economy, cap and trade, or health care. Take your pick. (Note: Pointing out things the republicans did wrong in these areas is not pointing out things that the democrats are doing right.)
The first 2 possibilities of what you meant are obviously devoid of all logic. And if your original premise is devoid of all logic, than your point is devoid of all meaning. The third possibility, like i said… put up or shut up.
Nice analysis, but all I meant was that it's simply fair for the GOP to let Dems govern for a couple of years- cause that's what voters wanted. When the public demands that it be heard, this is democracy. When the party in opposition demands that it be heard, it's simply whining..
DR – great comment. I'd welcome the opportunity to learn more about the R side of the aisle incompetence. Unfortunately, I am most aware of the DNC incompetence but not as aware of the RNC leadership stuff. I live in his district and everything about him is scrubbed clean. Feel free to suggest some sites.
Nicely put.
In some respects huge problems can only be solved when huge crisis result from them. Rahm says never waste a good crisis, well it goes both ways.
We have an opportunity I think to actually get some major things corrected, an opportunity does not guarantee success but Obama and crew are doing everything they can to unseat the current powerbase next year and leave a vacuum in its place.
Our job as citizen activist will be to make sure whoever fills the leadership vacuum will force key issues and focus on them like a laser, Jobs, Deficit, Corruption.
A Balanced budget amendment seems ripe with peoples anger at government spending, flat tax and tax holidays to solve the jobs issues, term limits to solve the corruptician issues, etc. leave out the small stuff, think in big strokes, most issues are easily solved by cutting off funds and limiting power.
GOP types don't seem to think too far ahead in regards to war gaming, what will the objections of the opponents be? How can we set this up so that we can show the foolishness of the oppositions policies?
I woudl honestly like to see every GOP member act like B1 Bob used to, that guy said it straight and said it often and never backed down.
Maybe GOP types are standing up and doing it, the MSM would not give them air time if they did though. It's probably a combination of political surival instinct "Don't say anything too controversial" but that wont play anymore, not in 2010 that's for damn sure.
Nice article Eric Cantor….. should drive UP your selling out price! Don't go cheaply into the dark night. Write more articles like this and they (Pelosi, Reid, etc.) will top the $300 million they paid to the Louisiana whore….
It is against the Jewish religion to support the Republican Party as its policies and actions in government run counter to the doctrine of repairing the world. What do you get for being a modern capo, Mr.Cantor?
I am so tired of reading and hearing the phrase "This is a democracy"…. We do not have a democracy in this country, we have a Representative Republic.
Rep Cantor: Your President and your party got us into the serial catastrophes from which Obamo is painfully extricating us. If your were a principled gentleman like the Republicans of the Eisenhower breed you would 1) start your piece with a collective mia culpa and 2) state exactly and explicitly what your idealess party would do to assist the unavoidable heavy lifting and communal sacrifices that Obama and Pelosi and Reid have begun.
Unfortunately DR is right! BOTH sides are to blame here! They have been acting like children for decades now! It's time to put a stop to it!!
Then THEY shouldn't be 'given' that much power!! The need to be held accountable and no one is stepping up to the plate, except maybe Glenn Beck!!
GREAT post! Now let's see if he is paying any attention, now that he has a cush job writing on BG!!!
My favorite is still from Thomas Jefferson: " Any government BIG enough to GIVE you everything you want, is STRONG enough to TAKE everything you have"….pay attention people!!
If you've read these comments Rep Cantor you will notice quite a bit of dissatisfaction from a mostly conservative crowd. That is not good news for the party. If there is one thing that we could do to save the party – and by proxy the nation – would be to change the way we pick our candidates. I'm tired of choosing between the socialist candidate and the next guy in line from the Good Ol' Boy network. Here's the solution:
Set some token registration fee and a reasonably achievable number of signatures and let anyone in the race. Start early and hold multiple debates between the candidates. It should be handled sweet 16 style – head to head. Let party members vote online (I do secure transactions with my bank all the time, so I know it can be done). It could be single or double elimination (I like double better, but that’s just me). Once we get down to the last two, then do it the traditional way and put those two on the ballot.
The problem I see is that neither party presents a worthy candidate. We know third parties don’t work because you wind up with Bill Clinton as president or John McCain as your nominee. My idea solves the problem and picks the actual best candidate. If we could use this idea to select our candidates, we might actually come out with someone worth electing…
Say what?
http://open.salon.com/blog/paul_j_orourke/2009/02...
To quote Benjamin Franklin when asked "What have you given us?", "We have given you a Republic Madam, for as long as you can keep it."
On eof the first things lifer politicians of both stripes did was do away with te checks and balances that NEED to be done when some bill is put up for a vote. And one of the biggest litmus tests that should be done, checking Constitutional eligibilty, is completely ignored. Some group we have representing us…
Nothing will happen. This is his way of "reaching out to the little people" by posting an article typed up by some wordsmith on his staff, and then sending it to the blog most appropriate. No offence to BG and the poster of this article, if politicians really wanted to effect a change in the way things were handled, it would have been done years ago.
Oh yes. Things are going so very well. Personally I'm really impressed with how the economy is bouncing back and how the state run media has come up with new and interesting ways to hide the fact that more and more people are out of work. And those wonderful speeches given by the TOTUS. And those wonderful parties. And that wonderful war. How 'bout that healthcare? And then there's the transparency and the tolerance and peace and love. You guys are just smokin'.

Dear Rep. Cantor,
Can you please accept a resume if I forward it to you? I'm 26 and have been unemployed for seven months. I have a Master's in Communication, a Bachelor's in History and I am semi-fluent in Spanish. I'm an excellent writer and have been published in both academic and magazine publications. I have a lot of student loans and I am desperate. I know this posting is for other political comments but I've applied for 250 + jobs and can't land an interview. Will you please give a young person a chance?

Right on Mr Cantor! Time and again, polls show that Americans care about #1 jobs, #2 economy, and #3 security of our nation. This liberal administration is either 1) failing at needs of Americans 2) clueless about what Americans really need right now, or 3) hell-bent on destruction of our economy. I can't read the minds of Obama and Pelosi, but I do know that we are rapidly running out of time before our currency becomes severely devalued, our debt crumbles our economy, and our soldiers and policemen are killed in our own streets.
The liberal responses here seem to focused on one thing only: "we won, you lost." But let me ask you: if our country is bankrupt, our citizens forced to lose more jobs, and our elderly suffering because of government-run healthcare – what have you really won? Would you really want to see our entire country crumble before your eyes?
Seems to be all the true Americans who put our country before our party are screaming at Obama to stop this run-away spending and government control. And all the so-called Democrats are so busy dancing on the graves of out-of-work Americans that they can't see Rome burning. (I say "so-called" Democrats because I believe true Democrats, like true Republicans, put our country first).
I used the same frog story. Not enough violence for the younger audience
Both parties are diconnected and self interested.
You are still not getting the message. When one of you meatheads can give an interview without so much as mentioning the other party and lambasting it, I will listen.
The citizens know that both parties are 100% responsible for this countries ills, and a lot of the perpertraitors still walk the halls of congress
Insanity in Government is still owned by Bush/Rumsfeld/Cheney who have done more damage to the US and democracy than any administration in history.
If you don't like science or government why do they keep running for office? Go home, make money, lie on your taxes, all of the things that you think make up the American dream.
Meanwhile us Real Americans (irony alert) will work at fixing your mess.
Grahamesty — Join the Democrat Party. Get out of the Repub. party.
Just as I expected. NO RESPONSE!!!!!!
FYI… NO RESPONSE from my representative… Mr. Cantor. Not surprised.
What the voters wanted and what they got are two different things. Notice how NObama's approval is in a steep decline lately?
When the Republicans were the majority, the Dems would use delay tactics, now that the tables are turned the Dems are complaining about their own tactics being used against them… they play so nice together.
We can all wish for our representatives to "do the right thing", but they don't. We have to speak up! You, Me, Everyone!
You say to let the Dems do their thing… That's rediculous. You imply to let them run unchecked…
I didn't care for Bush either, but NObama has proven to be MUCH WORSE in only one year. You don't have to agree with that. it's my opinion from my experiences. Don't try to repress my freedom of speech on the matter! I am not trying to repress yours.
If you have something important to add to the discussion or a point to debate I would LOVE to hear it.
I say lets nominate SMITH AND WESSON, and send the entitled packing !!!

Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail up…
