FEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive
by Sen. David Vitter (R-LA)Earlier this month and despite the public scrutiny over the voter fraud and felony criminal activity associated with ACORN, the Department of Homeland Security went ahead and granted $997,402 to ACORN under the FY 2008 Fire Prevention and Safety Program.
To most people, the timing and the amount of the grant would seem off base, but when you take into account the fact that DHS awarded ACORN–an organization with no clear expertise in fire safety and prevention–a fire prevention and safety grant, it’s just plain offensive.

With fire departments all over Louisiana – and the rest of the country – struggling to make ends meet and get the equipment and training they need to protect their local communities, the idea of a million dollar grant going to ACORN is unsettling, to say the least.
I’ve had grave reservations about ACORN for some time, and over the past year we’ve seen numerous examples of serious allegations of wrongdoing on the part of this organization and its employees across the country. I simply can’t see the logic behind diverting much needed funding from worthy fire departments to this organization.
So last week, I wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano requesting that she rescind this grant from ACORN. As of today, the Secretary has not responded to my request. This site will post a copy of the letter for you to read and see for yourself.
Rest assured, I’ll keep working to help prevent further ACORN schemes to procure federal money.

Could you also write a letter to Mz. Napolitano requestin she resign? She does not exude confidnence. Quite frankly, Homeland Security is a joke, and a misnomer. They have done nothing to create or preserve Security in the Homeland, any more than the Patriot Act has done anything Patriotic
URGENT:
The time is HERE, be prepared. The American Police Force has taken over Hardin Montana – God Bless us All

Great job!
for showing your courage to fight the right fight. The approx 1 miilion dollars to ACORN is absolutely absurd, and unwarranted, because the amount of money spent to date for Katrina has been enormous… and most of which not fully understood. One thing we do know… is that any sum given to ACORN will go to the wrong people and for the wrong purposes. so good job Sir , and keep up the vigilant fight for liberty and freedom.

Interesting, and alarming………
How do a bunch of "community organizers" suddenly become "fire safety and hazard experts"? No doubt this is another cool million of our tax dollars that these scumbags will someway manage to divert into the Democratic Party political engines, to help further the liberal and socialist agenda of the far-left fringe. Fortunately, ACORN is now in the crosshairs of conservative politicians, even many on the left are dropping them like a hot potato. By 2012, ACORN hopefully will be on life support, with their fate hanging in the balance by a "death panel" from a Republican-controlled Congress!
It for putting out those flaming ACORNS.
Doesn't matter what the grant money is for it all has the same use, it goes to political aims.
ACORN Biggest criminal outfit in the country, except the DNC.
Well Senator, you do not need our blessing. Build a coalition and demand that Homeland Security take back the grant.
I recall hearing a smoke detector chirping from a low battery throughout one of the ACORN video's. Just more evidence of a corrupt irresponsible organization.
I don't trust the link above mywhitehouse.org because when I clicked to play one of the vid's my screen went funny and the vid didn't play so fair warning folks!!!
Homeland Security wants to take guns from Veterans and lawful citizens-deeming them right-wing extremists.
Then they give a million bucks to these criminals to use for whatever purpose they see fit.
This is an OUTRAGE.
Get a copy of the grant proposal and the approval paperwork and post it on DocStok. Embarrass FEMA and the people who gave the OK. FOIA now!
Based on what we've seen on candid cameras, they're likely to use the money to train folks how to burn their homes and profit from the insurance proceeds. BTW, WTF does fire prevention have to do with Homeland Security?
How on God's green earth was Acorn ever even considered for a grant regarding fire protection and safety education?
Evidently no experience needed to apply for a grant from the US Government if you are a corrupt, tax evading, prostitution enabling, child slavery abdicating, etc…etc…etc…organization!!!
Are any of us really surprised at this? The Dems will figure out a way to fund their taxpayer money laundromat, there's no shocker here. The interesting thing is the timing. Barely a week after all of those tapes are released, and ACORN is still getting handouts from the corrupt officials in high places of government. Have I gone completely crazy? Whatever happened to a govt of, by and for the people? Now it s a govt of, by and for the next election. To hell with all of them. Sorry Sen Vitter, I appreciate the disclosure, but it will take more than a letter that will be immediately put in the round file to fix this corrupt system we find ourselves with. Maybe we can try a non-binding resolution (sarcasm is heavily inferred).
I will help you in anyway that I can.
Senator Vitter, Thank you for bringing this award to the attention of the public. I see that CREW is bringing up the case of prostitution from a year ago as punishment for your taking a stand against ACORN in the recent scandal. I understand that CREW styles itself as a non-partisan citizen-watchdog group but is really just another leftist hate machine that targets conservatives and Republicans. I can only encourage you to stand strong, because the vote against ACORN and against the Health-Care Reform Bill are very important to the people who put you into office. The divide-and-conquer tactics that CREW is trying to use won't work because now too many ordinary citizens are beginning to understand the relationships of the spiderweb that the left has spun.
(continued from previous post) My hope is that both parties in Washington will soon understand that the scrutiny they are under by the voters has changed the way politics will be played. The isolation from the voters that US Senators and Congressmen have used to their advantage is being overcome. It is now much easier to find out what our representatives are doing, whether it's selling their votes to lobbyists, or hiding other types of corruption and misdeeds. So, kudos to you, Senator, you may be on the way to saving your job. I hope that you will have the courage to continue to fight against the other organizations that have been connected to ACORN. Do not let the investigation stop. You will have the support of the people as long as you are doing the right thing.
Janet Reno….errrrr Janet Napolitano is marching on coals. 'Creative ineptitude!'
Could someone explain to me why ACORN and the many tentacles are not subject to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act?
I'm trying to wrap my head around this. Essentially it's nothing more than a private investigation firm but on steroids and with some really really expensive toys?
Alarming indeed.
Why is it that Louisiana gets Vitter and Jindal, and we get Blagojevich and Obama (not to mention Durbin and Burris). Seriously, it's almost like living in San Francisco without the pretty view (or the bums living in the parks).
Acorn is there for any issue they think they can put their hand out for. I read that college students went down to LA to help out after Katriea and Acorn tried to muscle them out because Acorn wanted federal $ to help.
Same thing goes with "housing counseling." Any situation that they think comes with deep pockets, Acorn will have its hand out. Not to help…just to cash in.
ACORN spearheaded lead paint lawsuits in MILWAUKEE Wisconsin. Any bets how money was spent?
http://newstandardnews.net/content/index.cfm/item...
Thank you Sen. Vitter!
It is indeed offensive. Our taxdollars should not be going to fund such a corrupt organization. And a known partisan organization at that.
Personally, i think there should be an effort to have ACORN shut down altogether.
Yep, me too.
Something not right with that site.
Methinks it's a trojan, sent here on behalf of someone very powerful………….
You can help shut ACORN down. There will be local ACORN offices in your state. Just google ACORN and your state name. I live in MIssissippi and we are researching what local, state, and non-profit agencies are giving money to ACORN. We had to file a freedom of information act request which was denied, so now we have to go to court. Once we get the list we are going to mount a very vocal, very visible campaign to get ALL government funding from the local and state level shut off to ACORN. We are also seeking to have their business licenses and state charters declared null and void. We are going to show up at EVERY public meeting where elected officials are present and ask them why ACORN is still operating in our state until they are shut down.
You can do the same.
this is just some more of obama’s theft policy everyone in ths country should stop spending money and get to gether with their employer’s and scheduel a national shut down for 2 or 3 weeks and that would send a strong message to washington to stop waisting our money on all of all of this crap that they spending it on like ACORN and SEIU and ACLU and AFLCIO and crap and traid and all of these bailout’s.
This FEMA grant is just another way to keep our tax money flowing into the corrupt ACORN. It's not going to be used for its intended purpose either and will most like just end up funding more of their highly questionable activities. With Dems in charge, any investigation will ignore the accounting shell game they do with the money.
I went to the site and was somewhat confused by the first video post, but it appears that this little town has outsourced their police force? Are some of those folks from Gitmo supposed to arrive there? Not sure what this all means, so I sent link to a police officer I trust to look over. Of course, it would make sense that the test town would be small and out of the way……I never thought I would ascribe to tin foil hat wearing theory, but the last 8 months has made me…question everything…
Sen. Vitter has no problem with ACORN's efforts on behalf of those in the prostitution business.
So I guess it's okay for Halliburton to rip off Americans (and charge $50 for a case of Coke) and not ACORN? Seriously, I don't like them either. Deny the grant. But Senator Vitter, I have some questions for you.
Other Republicans in LA have said that you have been visiting "madams" since the mid 90's, is that true? How many different prostitutes have you visited? What was your wife's reaction? In 1998 after President Clinton dirty laundry was aired, your charming wife Wendy said if you ever cheated on her, she would go Bobbit on you. So, did she?
Lord knows, I HAVE NEVER CHEATED ON MY WIFE!!! You are no better than Mr. Edwards or Mr. Ensign.
Hey, Laura, has your husband ever cheated on you? Laura, how would you feel if your husband frequented prostitutes likes fly frequent a pile of hot crap? Think about this turd. You tell him to stand strong. Did he stand strong when he had sex with prostitutes? Did he stand strong with his wife Wendy next to him? Did he stand strong when he might have contracted HIV or other STD's? Laura, you might like this song: Stand By Your Man…..
we need to put strict oversight over FEMA to make shure that they arent giveing our FEDERAL TAX MONEY to ACORN and SEIU and AFLCIO and ACLU.
No pun intended, but keep the heat on.
Thank you, Senator! Keep up the good work.
I feel your pain Des. But it is up to you to change it. BE the change. And I am not sure you have that much more corruption, I just think it is more open.
Well you can't expect them to consider any of those right-wing fanatics, like veterans or police departments. They had to spend it somewhere.
It's fine as far as it goes, but the entire organization should go away…"Homeland"?, smacks of the USSR or The Third Reich. Besides, where is the FBI, the CIA and a number of other already in place Government Protectors of Our Home Front? We relied on them for years to good end. That is until our Washington Know-IT-Alls decided those organizations could no longer speak to each other and "Presto" to solve that unencumbered by the thought process solution naturally a new Cabinet Level Department was required. You know, budget, staff, volumes of rules, regulations, forms etc., etc. I saw a cartoon earlier today which succinctly sums up this aspect of our government (with a few exceptions) since Teddy Roosevelt, the punch line was something like, "If you think the national problems we face are troublesome, wait 'til you see our solutions!"
All roads lead to Rome
and we are witnessing the fall of the Roman Empire.
It will be a painful affair.
I live in eastern Montana.
A few months ago, that new prison was all over the news. It is a brand new prison facility, built in Hardin, Montana. I do not if it was a joint venture with the Crow Nation, but it is on the Crow Reservation. The news a few months ago, they were on the news because they had vied to get the prisoners from GITMO sent to Montana. Something stinks in eastern Montana, and it isn't just the polecats. Feds are scrambling all over. The Crows "adopted" "The Obama" prior to the election. Even gave him a Crow name: "Barrack Black Eagle"
ACORN is a parasite that inserts itself between the purported needy and the malnourished government teat. It takes most of the sparse nutrition for itself while leaving those in need to scrap for the leftovers.
This feeding only enriches those who control this empire adding wads of dollars to their pockets! While doing little, if nothing, for those it truly purports to help.
Senator Vitter,
Please step with caution, as Janet has you in her crosshairs as a right wing "extremist".

IMPORTANT!!
Don't take your eyes off congress / senate., monitor govtrack.us, and other tracking sites.
It's obvious that POTUS waited until now to confront Iran, delayed decision on Afghanistan, gave controversial speeches at U.N., the push for imigration AMNESTY, racial speech at the CBC, and many other distractions…. to slide toxic policy in under the radar, or at least with less resistance.
HE IS OVERWHELMING THE SYSTEM!
DON'T BE FOOLED!
WE ARE BEING PLAYED!
ATTEND, OR ORGANIZE RALLIES!
Keep contacting representatives, DO NOT BECOME COMPLACENT!
DON'T BE DISTRACTED, CHANNEL YOUR OUTRAGE TO ACTION!
Thank you Senators Vitter and Shelby, Please keep us posted on any response.
I am going to email your article to my Congressman and Senators, along with a request to explain what they are doing to support you. Additionally going to send to the governor of the state I live in and ask her is she would rather this money be going to help fund state fire departments.

Awwww, we JUST got rid of Jane-O. No pass backs! It will take years to undo what she did to Arizona, but she fit the bill for Obam-uh.
"over the past year we’ve seen numerous examples of serious allegations of wrongdoing on the part of this organization and its employees across the country" — that have not lead to one single indictment, prosecution and/or conviction against ACORN (if you don't count the forced resignation of Alberto Gonzales). It's not like they broke laws like oh…soliciting and engaging in prostitution right Mr. Vitter? At least Spitzer had the decency to resign. This idiot isn't even smart enough to keep his mouth shut.
As a volunteer fire fighter I find this more than offensive. The idiot in charge of homeland insecurity should be put before a firing squad. My department just took out a ($120,000)bank loan to add two bays on our fire hall and will have to go door to door collecting money to make the payments. Makes one want to close up and let the neighborhood burn, which it would with the coming forest fire season.
FEMA has no shame.
I can actually say that I am impressed. If the CIA could weave a web like this then Osama would have already been caught. I would bet they have a room of interns from colleges all over the US looking through law books from every state, applying for grants for everything they think the government will hand them money for. 80% of what they file get's rejected, but the other 20% that is approved is more money then they need to run their organization. I would surely love to see the Enron style accounting they have going on there. In fact they probably learned & adapted techniques based off Enron so it would be much less detectable. People will get arrested for money laundering & fraud, offices will be shut down & it will be the Elephant in the room wherever Obama travels. THIS IS GOING TO BE SOOO MUCH FUN TO WATCH!
I'm still awake.
The reason the legal full-court press is not being put on ACORN is because of all of the politicians that would be implicated in the ethics probe, and the subsequent metaphorical blood-letting soon after the facts came to light. DO not expect this story to go any further than it has. With the help of Obama and his ilk, ACORN will be given a fresh coat of whitewash and it will all go away. They will continue to get taxpayer money to further their corrupt ideals. As far as I know, Obama never signed that bill to defund ACORN, so it was an exercise in futility.
Why is it that Louisiana gets Vitter and Jindal, and we get Blagojevich and Obama (not to mention Durbin and Burris). Seriously, it's almost like living in San Francisco without the pretty view (or the bums living in the parks), except with about one hundred times the corruption.
Umm… who initiated this grant? Who approved this grant? Anyone?
What about the 2007 grant to ACORN for $450,000? What was this spent on?
I don't mine if Napolitano resigns or not, but I agree that Homeland Security is a joke and misnomer and that the Patriot Act is most unpatriotic. I think this is an area where Libs and Cons can come together: We both think that Homeland Security is a waste of financial resources and adds big bureaucracy without any sort of justifiable result.
I see that ACORN is enemy number one on this blog which of course is the maker's and members' right; however, I don't really understand why because quite frankly, they're not really very powerful in the scheme of things–they really aren't. They certainly don't have the power to undermine our democracy and such nonsense. What undermines our democracy is hyperbole and lies, regardless of which side it comes from. I can see why Cons want to take on unions and whatever, but taking on ACORN with such intense fervor seems overdone to me.
It wasn't a bill–there's nothing for the Prez to sign. ACORN cannot be prosecuted for racketeering because it simply hasn't happened.
My gosh, a chirping low battery is a sign of corruption?
He paid them with his own money. That makes him more honest than you.

Oops…forgot to say great post! Looking forward to your next one.
I think I just died of irony …
Kind of off topic, but David Vitter is the only Senator that I've ever voted for and subsequently wanted to vote for again in the next election cycle. Keep up the good work!
Sen. David Vitter,
What are you doing in the Senate to stop this funding? It’s just plain offensive that you have done nothing more than to write a letter too Janet Napolitano. How much do you care that your state is at the core of supporting Sex Slave Trade.
IF YOU PAY ATTENTION YOU WILL SEE WHAT HE HAS BEEN DOING, HE;S BEEN DOGGING THEM BEFORE THE BIG STORY BRKE. HE IS ONLY ON SENATOR WHY NOT WRITE YOURS, OURS IS DOING HIS JOB, THANK YOU SENATOR VITTER
DanM. why not just back off if his personal life. He made a mistakeand he has apoligized. He is doing a very good job in the Senate, Please stop beating that dead horse, By the way I am a Democrat
Ok DanM , I guess you are perfect and without sin, You are a jerk and I'll bet a loud mouth . What he di d is between he and his wife. We know your trash talk is political and apparently you are a defender of Acorn and all it's strings to the Present Administration. Go stick your head in the sand on some other site.

Thanks Senator Vitter! Is there anything you can do to stop the 700k now being given to ACORN by the City of New Orleans? Maybe help New Orleans Congressman Cao learn how to put some big boy pants on stand up for us? FYI to posters; Bobby Jindal / State of La. has stopped all funding to ACORN, but the liberals running the City of New Orleans have decided to continue funding ACORN. Presently giving 700k to ACORN. The only media reporting this is local Fox TV affiliate and they allowed the ACORN Chairperson to blame the Republicans for the national attention on ACORN. The newly elected Republican Cao from N.O. (replaced "Democrat Dollar Bill William Jefferson" – the Democrat that hid money in his freezer) doesn't know which way to go on anything. In an interview awhile back, he stated he believed in "social justice" dating back to his days when he considered being a Jesuit priest.
It is good to get ACORN out but for all of you focused on this do not Focus too hard keep your eyes on what is going on around it. This administration uses everyone and everything as a distraction. They are con men and pickpockets so while you are focused on ACORN they are up to no good just out in the perifery. Remember Rahm deadfish's words "never let a crisis be wasted " This administration are full of these type of people so it is good to go After Acorn and bring them down, but dont be distracted by ACORN issues. Keep watching the whole show. These criminals are very good at what they do they are most certainly using ACORN as a distraction for some other crooked scheme to pull on the american people.
Thank you Senators Vitter, Please keep us posted on any response.

Sen. Vitter
Please stay with this and thank you for bringing it to everyone's attention. Until we have more senators and congressmen speaking out, this kind of gross government corruption will continue! It is time to get ALL ACORN funding stopped and stop those who continue funding them!
What does this man get from his vigilance against crime? CREW files ethics complaint against Vitter. http://is.gd/3NQng
Thank you Senator. Obviously our incompetent Homeland Secretary doesn't get it yet! I think you need to write one more letter. This one to Obama, demaning the resignation of Napolitano. After all the corruption, voter fraud, waste of our tax dollars that ACORN will be proven guilty of, our incompetent homeland secretary has proven once again that she is WAY OUT OF TOUCH, and not fit for the job.
Right on the money Jude. Sanmon, I have been following Vitter very closely for sometime and especially after the madame issue broke. His actions in the Senate have been to fight FOR the U.S. ACORN is only one of the leftist enemies he has fought against time after time.
He also verbally supported the Tea Party movement before the first rally occurred here in MARCH.
No wonder conservatives in his constituency are behind him 100%.
Louisiana government has grown under Jindal. We have the 8th largest state government in the nation now and about double the next largest one in the South. Lately he has been traveling around the state having photo ops while handing out checks to local government funded by the Stimulus.
You mean the company that won contracts on a competitive bid basis in just a few places on the Gulf Coast while Blank Zero (Blanco) made her only big supporter, The Shaw Group, quite profitable from all of its Katrina contracts?
As far Vitter and hookers, yes it is appalling, however, his actions in the legislature laudable ever since his first election in the state legislature.
Any bad publicity of Senator Vetter is just what they (left nuts) want. That is how they have been getting away with all the corruption in Washington D.C.. As soon as someone steps out and brings corruption to the forefront, the left nuts start blackmailing with the privite sex scandels of the wistleblower. That is what Glenn Beck was trying to tell the 56 re-founders, don't worry about the scandle it may cause. The better the corruption they bring to light in Washington D.C., the more People will be willing to forgive and get over it. They may have alot of explaining to do, but if it helps the country as a whole, they could be heros.
Acorn needs to be destroyed and a new organization has to take over. And each person whom works for them should have degrees that will help enrich the new . organization. To think Obama funded them so much money and they re so corrupt. Now this is happening Why are they not just put out of business completely.
I say crush them in every way. Get rid of the bad and bring in the good. I am very happy this was brought to our attention since many issues ae covered up. I am sure Acorn will tell others how to start fires and get money for it. GET RID OF ACORN WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO OUR PRESIDENT WILL JUST SMILE AND THINK OF THE OLYMPICS
I believe Acorn is the master of goverment grants! That is why they have so many Organizational Names staffed with the same people. They scout our available grant monies at federal and local levels, then create a non-profit organization with a mission statement to match the provisions of the grant. All the money goes into Citizens Consulting, their accounting branch, and disappears to god knows where. This set up has been very effective and kept them under the radar for many years.
I just hope the Inspector Generals investigating this operation have the integity to bring it to justice and expose them for what they are.
Yes, DanM, My first husband cheated on me. So I divorced him, Don't try ot pull that crap over on me. I'm not like Hillary Clinton, who was glad to keep letting her scumbag of a husband keep on with his numerous affairs. Why would she destroy her biggest and best meal-ticket EVAH? Of course, who can blame Bill? I'm sure you didn't, DanM. But that was different right? Back then, the big Dem rallying point around Clinton was that you can't legislate morality. While you no doubt support feminism, just what are you supporting nowadays? It used to be about equal pay, equal treatment in the work force, being allowed the options of birth control and abortion that sexual freedom demanded, and preventing the sexual exploitation of women. Now it's about allowing muslim women to have a "choice" to remain trapped in a society where they are looked upon as property, where the choices to have an abortion is used AS birth control, where birth control and abortion may soon be forced on women by the government.
(continuation from above comment) And in regards to prostitution, DanM, left-wingers encourage, promote, fund and house prostitution, as ACORN would have been glad to do, because (1) they make money from the "business" and taxpayers and (2) it is a convenient and easy trap for anyone to fall victim, as in JOHNS. My comments to Sen. Vitter in regards to prostitution do not in any way condone what he did. It was merely a statement acknowledging that this case from a year ago is being reinstated by CREW to punish him for his participation in the subject broached in this article. The right is often accused of demanding perfection and being hypocritical. So, let's be more like the left and let our pols know that we DO demand a level of ethics and morality but we aren't going to abandon those who are working for us. So neener, neener, neener.
Why don't you try e-mailing one of the contributors on here? Maybe you can e-mail Breitbart himself. Also on Michell Malkin's websites, michellemalkin.com and/or hotair.com, asks that any tips be emailed to her You really need to make this known, Dan..
[...] FEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive Earlier this month and despite the public scrutiny over the voter fraud and felony criminal activity associated with ACORN, the Department of Homeland Security went ahead and granted $997,402 to ACORN under the FY 2008 Fire Prevention and Safety Program. I find it hard to give Vitter any credit here, or anywhere. Grown men don't play dress-up.
Let us examine the facts and not this bullshit by a guy who uses the shield (depicted above) to make a "case.:" Where, when have ther been indictments for voter fraud?
This is a massive attempt by the Right to keep minorities from be able to vote. You dislike spending govt money? then defund Blackwater and all the other people who are sent to Iraq, doing intel work, Afghanistan etc instead of using our own trained people–this is a handout to the private sector while we continue to pay taxes for work that now is done by non-govt people.
Agai: The ACORN thing is a tempest in a teapot with all sort of crap claimns that have not been shown to be accurate. Yes. A few bad apples have been uncovered. But to defund a major program that gets cit8izens involved in voting is the GOP way of trying to make up for the simple fact that the American voter no longer trusts them. and doing this nonsense only increases distrust.
Can anyone please, please explain to me what is going on in this country that I love so much, that the main stream media that loves to go after the messengers all the time, won’t go after, or at least ask a simple question like;
“Why in the world would FEMA give money to ACORN” not just because they are known criminals, but who at ACORN is trained in teaching fire safety and why does ACORN need 1mil to teach it, it’s just a simple question, for the love of anything good, please we all need to stop this legalized criminal government, from paying their friends in high places, when the local firemen could use a little money to maybe safe lives.
OK….our Governor raised taxes on businesses until they all left, then was impeached for trying to sell a Senate seat. He'll probably be in jail next year at this time (then his wife went on an embarrassing reality show to raise money for his defense fund). Wanna trade?
Don't forget that one Senator made it to President (and I know how much everyone's enjoying that), another called our troops Nazis, then the new one is so bad even the Democrats didn't want to swear him in.
Jude & Kermit,
If you are happy that Sen Vitter allows ACORN, CCI, and CSI to set up headquarters in your state and continue to run a scam on the rest of the country, so be it. With his solution being to write a letter to Janet Napolitano over $1,000,000 contribution/grant then we have a different view on effective leadership. I know Sen Vitter has done more than just write this letter. He chose to post and brag about his letter to Janet Napolitano here. He did not lay out his past "Good Deads" nor did he post his future plans to rid this country of this corruption.
He may be the best Senator fighting ACORN, but what does that say about how the fight is working. He could "lead" the fight against ACORN corruption and post those plans. But that is not what he posted here.
I am also sure there is a good reason that he is recorded as a No Vote on the Defunding of ACORN on S Amdt 2355 09/14/2009.

Giving money to ACORN for fire prevention and safety is like giving matches and kerosene to an arsonist.

I hope all of this will come out in 2012
Fighting off the flow of corrupt payoffs is like holding back a million army ants. It's coming from everywhere and it has to stop. This constant game of confiscation and then doling out to political allies, which seems to be the only thing the Democratic Party is interested in, has become intolerable. I can't think of a single thing the Democrats stand for other than stealing from person A and handing out to persons B and C in exchange for a vote. This mentality, combined with an uncontrollable lust for complete control, will be the undoing of this country if not stopped.

Hi David! Please give my regards to Madam Palfrey! Cheers!
Good analysis, Andy. I glad to know that there are a few people who have things figured out.

Follow the money!….it all is starting to making sense on how big the corruption really is and leads right back to the white house.
All with come tumbling down soon!
I am baffled. Why oh why would ACORN ever get such a grant? What do they want with it? It's not as though we don't all notice the lack or organization and corruption, but some are turning a blind eye to it. But WHY does ACORN need to control fire safety education? Is it really this easy to get a grant?? What could be next for ACORN? It's frustrating and humiliating that such control is awarded to undeserving, corrupt organizations. I can't help thinking of RICO. Fire departments need funding, and ACORN has it? It's astounding.
Watch Glenn Beck. you'll understand perfectly what is going on!
Give your camel my regards….
Yes, the battery companies need to be attacked as 'big battery', forced into bankruptcy then given to the unions.
You are being a dolt. A low battery is an indicator that they ignore important details and talk more than they act. Not a good sign in an activist organization.
what, are you racist now?
You first.
I would really like to understand how someone who purports to have "values" or "religious" beliefs could make a comment to someone about their "camel".
Did your parents raise you to act like that? Was that part of your "religious" upbringing?
I'd like to know if you belong to a religion that values honor killings.
I don't know of any religion that does. Today there are about 7 million Muslims in the United States. 7 million. Are you going to tell me that these people "value honor killings"? So where are these killings?
Having said that, I can tell you that my family was Christianized by sword in around the 6th Century.
"Are you stupid now?"
Roger: Are you? HERE is a clue: "CgntvDssdnt" is not my Christian name.
And some in my family were converted by the druids against their will.
But, that doesn't help the poor run away in Florida that fled for her life. It's still in the courts, and thanks to infidels she's still alive and able to tell her story.
Now, I notice that you still didn't say if you currently belong to the religion that stands behind honor killings, and does not dispute their legitimacy.
No blacks have been brutalized or killed in America with the approval of mainstream Christianity. None, not in the last 100 years and never after Christian evangelicals fought for the civil war to end slavery.
Under a cross? The mainstream Christian movement has never approved of the clan, and you offer no evidence or links to even fringe web sites saying so.
Is it unfair to lump a wide spread global tactic to muslims? Yes, unless they denounce it and work to eradicate it.
The soldiers at Abu Graib were not devout Christians doing what they did in defense of their religion. The honor killings done are.
The scandal with the pimp and working women made them channel the funding more underground.
I am so glad that the democrats (who have had this position on record for 10 years now) decry the politics of personal destruction. Besides, personal matters aren't important it's the job performance that matters!
"No blacks have been brutalized or killed in America with the approval of mainstream Christianity."
Maybe so, but on the EXACT SAME TOKEN, the travesties you are citing are not endorsed by "mainstream Islam".
And you responded about blacks – mainstream Christianity has improved on this subject in the last few decades. But what about gay hate crimes in the United States? Where are these crimes taking place? Certainly not in Secular USA.
Even if they're not big and powerful, why excuse corruption?
who would that be? Obama?
Again, maybe you should get a clue. Devout Muslims do not advocate prostitution.
The right realizes there are reasons to spend money. But waste should never be excused.
If this is a tempest in a teapot, why not clean out the teapot before moving on?
Actually, mainstream Islam as practiced in Saudi Arabia does not condemn honor killings.
http://www.islamist-watch.org/928/does-islam-just...
http://amboytimes.typepad.com/the_amboy_times/200...
no, they marry for a couple of hours then divorce them.
http://www.al-islam.org/al-serat/muta/
You have refused to say if you are religious, hold any religious beliefs or have any religious loyalties. So, how can I attack you because of your religion?
I'm not ashamed of my Christian beliefs and background.
yes but their our ally and close buddies with all of the American Presidents since probably WWII.
Anyway, I'm sure as he|| not going to defend that stuff. I'll leave it at this: Saudi Arabia has problems. As far as Islam goes, there's the Islam in far corners of the world, with the problems of those places. Here in America, the 7 MILLION Muslims seem to get on here pretty well.
I'm certainly not going to bag on these 7 MILLION fellow Americans because their belief is under the same label as the belief of peoples in much different types of places.
Why don't I? Because then, I'd be a bigot. Like you.
'seem to get on here pretty well'
Oh, I hate to bring this up, but…
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,494785,00.htm...
Kind of shoots holes all over in your rant about how great muslims in America are getting on.
"You have refused to say if you are religious, hold any religious beliefs or have any religious loyalties. So, how can I attack you because of your religion?"
nice try, jerk. You are trying establish my religious beliefs for one reason and one reason only: Because, as you indicated, this is relevant.
So, perhaps now I've convinced you that I do not support "honor killings". Its you – not me- that suggested otherwise and brought this up into the conversation.
Speaking of which: Senator David Vitter – When are you going to make a proper Christian woman out of Madam Palfrey and establish a proper Christian relationship with her under the covenant of marriage?! THE GOOD PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW!
"I'm not ashamed of my Christian beliefs and background."
Do you not feel shame for having been born of sin?
one case- maybe there's a dozen more – compared to 7 million?
It only "shoots" a hole in my rant if the person considering my rant…doesn't know how to count.
How many gays have been killed in America, in the name of Christ?
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is the oversight in our Government? Are all Government employees as stupid as they appear? We need a complete scrubbing of Washington corruption and we need it quickly starting with the most corrupt President we have ever had in office.
Of course not.
Are you stupid now?
I'm curious why someone with the training to respect religion would have a name like yours.
Can you explain your values/religion?
Oh please, no more beating around the bush. Quit being coy and just spell it out for all the world to see.
If you're muslim that would explain why you attack the corrupted western culture. But it raises more questions about the things do you support. How can you as a muslim want a million dollars to be channeled to the Acorn group that explained how to bring poor girls into a brothel and handle the tax questions for a pimp in several different cities?
How many gays have been brutalized or killed, in America, in the name of Christ?
How many blacks have been brutalized, or killed, under a cross?
Is it unfair to lump that stuff in with the whole of "Christianity"? I would say so. But I would say that its also unfair to lump in these honor killings and runaways with the whole of Islam.
How Christian was the behavior of our soldiers at Abu Grab?
Not the good people. The left want to because they have no way of arguing about the issues you bring up. Keep up hounding Acorn, they deserve every bit of it.
They don't deserve our hard earned tax money!
something tells me that Matt Shepard isn't an isolated case.
And since I'm noticing that you are trying really hard to paint me as a Muslim…
Question: Do any of my statements here loose their validity based on whether I'm a Muslim or not?
(Isn't that, er, what it called? Ad hominem? Aren't you engaging in this?)
"Why would I feel shame for something out of my control?"
Don't you know that Jesus died for your sins?
Yes, but that's not what you said. I was answering your comment.
Changing the arguement in the middle of the question/answer is so typical of you. Is it time to bow to Mecca now, or are you done for the day?
Perhaps you can have a cleric contact his office and explain that 3 hours of marriage each time should cover the honor issue. And divorce is so much cheaper under Islam. Forget the infidel divorce court, just claim a problem with family honor!
Matthew Shepard was killed in a horrible manner. And I do not want to smear his story. But those convicted had met him in a bar, that's not where Christians hang out.
You're going to have to blame someone else.
Why would I feel shame for something out of my control? Besides, I'm not the only one born with a fallen nature. Ask the workers at Acorn that wanted to help the pimp set up tax records, so he could have housing for underage undocumented aliens who were going to be sold into a sex trade.
Then you will be able to come up all kinds of examples, won't you? But why you want to harass bar patrons puzzles me.
I suppose the same way a community organizer became president of our beautiful country. Absurd!!!!
Actually, Vitter, it's more offensive that you're still representing my state after your whole involvement in a REAL prostitution ring.
Something everyone here is overlooking.
Agreed.
Actually, he was absent, if I recall. Plus, the "Defund ACORN Act" was an amendment to college funding, IIRC.
And anyways, it all boils down to because our dear Senator loves prostition rings. He couldn't possibly have voted 'Yes' to shutting an agency that the Right-Wing Echoshpere has labelled as supporting these fine institutions he frequents.
Or that they had a go-fer getting a spare battery.
Hyperbole much?
I didn't notice that in the video. Of course with that hot babe there I was just focusing on that most of the time. I was hoping it wasn't her making that kind of chirping noise.
so lets go along with this narrative that you are striving to conduct. Say I'm a Muslim. So what?
no idea what that means.
who am I harassing? Is there a problem? Why don't you report me if I'm offending you.
You often have difficulty in comprehension.
You are accusing bar patrons of more attacks on gay men, that Matt Shepard was not an isolated case.
Hence, I'm wondering why you want to harass bar patrons.
wow. You are so devoted to women's issues. You are just like some of these totally PC dudes I see taking "women's studies" courses in college. bravo sir.
you and guys like Alan Alda. True role model sensitive male types.
I'm sure that you are on guard to speak out for similar cases of injustice no matter the part of the world or religion. After all, you don't make points about stuff like this just because its Islam.
I am striving to have you explain any religious beliefs you have and defend. So far you have done everything but deny screaming up and down that you are Muslim. But earlier posts express that your parents taught you do respect religion. And of course, that this isn't a Christian name you are using.
It's hard to respect someone's religion when they don't even respect it enough to declare it. So, I'm not sure what issues I'm allowed to discuss without offending what religious doctrine you enshrine.
Nope, I just think that women should be treated as human.
That they should have access to medical doctors that can actually examine them, even if they happen to be male doctors. That they should be able to live their lives as they see fit and perhaps even do the things they enjoy without male relatives there.
And of course, have a right to life. Even if some male relative is offended.
Why should males have the power of life or death over everyone under his roof? We have gotten past beduin roots here in the western world.
ACORN should never have been an option for Fire Prevention Education Program funding from DHS.
When I was a kid, or any time since, it seemed like the most effective presentations on the topic where delivered either at the fire house or in the classroom.
There is no way that ACORN has the technical or educational expertise to handle the topic. This $ in their incapable and corrupt hands is what needs to be prevented.
My local department is mostly volunteers and handles multiple safety education functions for children and adults, it is part of their mission in serving the community. My local FD is the community organization that deserves the financial support.
I agree with you about your entire statement.
I would add however, that it is a big world, and it is not very long ago when divorce- and other women's prerogatives – were not appreciated with such aplomb and respect in Western culture.
Is it right for a woman to be excommunicated from her Church for divorce?
Its relatively recent when western culture became so fair and progressive on this subject. And again, the Islamic culture that I see here in America is not so different from other parts of our general culture and roots.
No, but I may have a problem in making myself understood. SO, let me be clear. I am suggesting that here in America, Matt Shepard is not the only gay who has been physically harmed for his sexuality.
or are you going to tell me that it was a totally isolated case?
Maybe you should encourage Andrew Brei bart to add functionality to the user profiles. You know, something that requires a person identify themselves in terms of their religion, which Church or Synagogue they attend, etc.
personally, I prefer to be officially private on this subject. One of my general disagreements with people that hate Christians, Jews, or Muslims is that they engage in group-based-labeling, stereotyping and generalizing.
Current Republican ideology includes concepts like freedom of the individual and avoidance of group-oriented politicking. Or, relatedly, "color-blindness".
So if you espouse "color-blindness", why do you not also advocate "religion-blindness"?
You know, monitoring peoples' belief systems is very…Orwellian.
I don't go to bars, so I don't have a clue what is the norm for behavior in them.
Who says I'm color blind? I notice and have conclusions for actions and values different than myself. I may treat others with the dignity that human beings deserve, but I don't turn a blind eye.
Thinking isn't illegal yet, and as long as I treat other people with respect it's none of their business what I think.
By asking for your religious affiliation, I have asked more than what church or mosque you attend, there are a set of values, heritage and standards that come with each religion. That was more what I was curious about. You are so rabidly anti-everything, I was hoping your religious standards and values would explain that complete negativity.
"You are so rabidly anti-everything, I was hoping your religious standards and values would explain that complete negativity."
1. is that something that needs to be explained?
2. I'm not anti-everything. I'm pro-American. I'm pro-ethics. I'm pro-morals. I'm pro-quite a lot of good wholesome things that I'm sure we can agree on.
But I don't like your pushing to get at my religion, so you can pigeon hole me with some label about it.
I think too many people in our world, whether Christian or Jew or Muslim, place emphasis on the label and affiliation. Rather, we should look at how people act, period.
and if you want to come back at me with the point that there are some bad guys out there who proclaim to be Muslim, then we have an agreement.

I disagree that either Christian or Muslim cultures seek the other's demise.
Do you know, how many Americas are of Muslim faith? The answer is 7 million. By and large, they seem to be living in our country peacefully, without engaging in anything that could be evidence of what you attest. So I think your assertion is flat out wrong. I think you make that point purely based on the wacko rhetoric of some extreme fringe group or despotic government.
"Death to America" is the chanting we see on some videos of the so called "Arab Street". No doubt there is a problem there and we have some true enemies there. I don't think the problem is their general religion.
"Why would you think a woman getting a divorce is cause for excommunication? "
I don't think this at all. I also don't think being black is cause for having to be burned on a cross. But its a fact that both of these things happened in Christian places but a generation ago.
Dear Homeland Security,
Fire prevention training is normally done by the experts. They are the people you call when you have a fire. They normally drive a very large red truck, very pretty. Most kids are fascianted by it. You should see one some time. They hang out at the building that says "Fire Department or Fire Station" over a big garage door.
Now if you give money to the Fire Department to teach people about fire safety that is actually what they will do. Honest………..no child sex, no prostitution, no politics, whoops I forgot politics is what it is all about. Sorry go ahead give it to ACORN.
I don't go to bars either buddy. But I read the news and I know how to search the internet. In a San Francisco news article, a year 2000 study found that nationwide, 2,475 people were victimized by anti-gay violence.
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c...
not very Christian of us is that?

That's better than what Senator David Vitter did!
No no no. The ANTI-ACORN Movement needs prostitution ring experts, and Senator David Vitter has graciously volunteered for the cause.

There you go being negative and 'anti' what ever you can push into that box.
Christians had nothing to do with Matthew Shepard attack, as I've explained in several ways. Your link doesn't work. So, I can only guess if the story tried to link Christians with violence. But the link isn't there. We disagree with issues and positions, but value and cherish life.
No, actually even in most non religious circles the hypocrisy of marrying for a few hours is worse, it cheapens the ceremony of marriage. Weddings in our western culture, ideally, are for life, and nothing less is hoped for.
Why idealize something that cheapens that special bond?
And I don't think being a Christian in Sudan is cause for slavery or murder. I don't think anyone should have tires stacked around them and lit on fire because they hold Christ in their hearts and refuse to convert at knife point.
And you still have presented no evidence of Christians harming blacks. Links, stories or anything.
This is a perfect example of your attacking anything and everything with a virulence that makes me wonder why you have so much hatred in your heart. Unless you are being brainwashed by some sort of belief system that encourages it.
And how many in Islamville are doing fine in assimilating into our culture?
http://politicsofcp.blogspot.com/2006/02/fox-caro...
Why would you think a woman getting a divorce is cause for excommunication?
Our cultures are not just so completely different. But one seeks the destruction of the other. We are a melting pot, Muslims do not mix, they do not assimilate, they segregate and separate from those they see as lesser than themselves.
If would be utter foolishness to pretend not to see the differences.
Dear Senator David Vitter-
Keep hounding ACORN if you must, but go in eyes open. The prostitution ring was a hoax designed to expose ACORN. No actual prostitutes were involved. If you are looking for actual prostitutes, you would probably have better luck in the state of Nevada.
cheers,
CogDis.
But the acorn workers didn't know that, did they? Boy you sure go negative all over the place. Why attack Vitter instead of addressing the "ISSUE" of the day? What he did was a while back and no relapses have been publicized.
I hold Christianity as my belief. I am proud and have a moral obligation to explain that to anyone that asks.
If you hold any beliefs why would you be ashamed to claim it publicly? Unless you know it has dark corners with things to hide?
I have the feelings I have towards different beliefs because of the way people ACT not their beliefs. But there is a direct connection in most cases. Christianity went through a time of 'reformation' to make the beliefs and actions more aligned. It was a painful period for many christians as the process was developing, but we are a stronger, more united religion for it.
When the bad guys who happen to be muslim, do bad things like murder 3,000 innocent civilians in the name of their Allah, the rest cheer them on. And I don't care if you agree or not. Facts don't need consensus.
Either you are mislead or are dishonest. Haven't you ever heard about the dream of a world wide Calliphate?
How do you think that would happen?
Also the false number of muslims you keep giving out at 7 million? It's not true. It's only 2.8 million according attendance records at mosques as provided my muslim sources.
http://www.adherents.com/largecom/com_islam_usa.h...
Why can't you just tell the truth about anything?
Are you a black muslim that was converted in prison and just has difficulty in facing the society as you find it?
"Why idealize something that cheapens that special bond?"
Go ask them. How people conduct their affairs like that in some far off place in the world… why should I give a rat's butt?
Personally, I think a government document that says "marriage certificate" cheapens the idealized and special bond that I have with my wife & community. Why have the government involved in that at all? Its none of the governments business, as far as I'm concerned.
What's the issue again? That people on the right hate ACORN so they're sniffing around everywhere they can to find problems? I don't have any objection to that. you guys go to town.
To me, the description of the Caliphate sounds a lot like the Pope. So what?
If people or nations want to give up their sovereign self-determination that's their business. The virtues of democracy should be self evident and if people don't want it that's their problem.
Am I a black Muslim that was converted in prison? nope.
But I do find difficulty in facing society as I find it. When I see starving babies. When I see burning crosses. When I see the falling towers of 9/11. I do find it difficult to face these problems in our society. Don't you?
who has hatred?
Christians harming blacks? I've cited plenty. And then you said that the KKK wasn't "mainstream" Christianity. And then I said that the Taliban or Al Queda doesn't represent "mainstream" Islam.
So lets keeping going round and round shall we?

So lets keeping going round and round shall we?
yes but if you've taken psychology 101 then you'd appreciate that – say we agree that perhaps the Muslim world needs its own reformation – Shouldn't they take care of that themselves?
Back when the Christian reformation occurred…how well do think "constructive criticism" would have been received by Christians if the Islam world were critical of the Christian world at that point? LOL
Your argument has circled back around in a loop.
It's gone from marrying for a couple of hours is better than prostitution to the position that marriage is so sacred that there should be no government document.
With all the government tax laws on filing jointly and rights of heirs for survivorship there needs to be legal recognition of marriage.
And what David Vitter did was between himself, his wife, his God and his voters.
The issue was that a government paid and subsidized organization would willingly help a pimp and prostitute set up a home for illegal underage girls to be used in the sex trade, and not report them for days before the video's hit the few media outlets that would expose them.
How can this be confusing for you? After all, you have been so mean about prostitutes and Vitter's use of them. Either you should take a moral position on women's rights or not. But this waffling back and forth depending on how you can insult David Vitter for his criticism is morally bankrupt.
I dunno about that.
You and your buddies here seem pretty Anti-America, starting with the POTUS and everything on down the line from that.
by contrast, I consider myself very positive!
"When the bad guys who happen to be muslim, do bad things like murder 3,000 innocent civilians in the name of their Allah, the rest cheer them on."
Again, you are generalizing. Did the 7 million Muslim Americans "cheer on" 9/11? I didn't get that impression. Maybe you did. Who here is 100.00% unbiased?
The problem is, that the caliphate would be set up by force. The same force used against Catholics in East Timor. The same force being used in norther Nigeria. The same force every single place Sharia is forced on an unwilling populace.
That's the point you refuse to admit to, hoping it will make it all the less true. They do not 'give up' self determination, it's stolen from them.
When you see burning crosses? What burning crosses? You are a fraud every time you say that.
When I see burning towers? Yes, and I have spoken up against the forces that led to that, even in this very post.
Don't you?
I have not seen one link or site on this thread. You toss it out and pretend it's true.
Go on, and make up anything you can. And I'll be glad to refute it with links and logic. You want to continue looking like a drone and muslim zealot go right ahead.
At that point, they had fought the muslims to a stand still in Spain. France barely escaped with the help of the catholic church. So, the muslims were making a contribution. And their criticism was not peaceful.
Your point was?
You fail to recognize the character of the muslim religion. They are commanded in the Koran to step on the necks of jews and infidels.
Either you don't know what you're talking about, or you are lying to deceive everyone you can into sleeping while the enemy approaches.

Either you don't know what you're talking about, or you are lying to deceive everyone you can into sleeping while the enemy approaches. Europe fell for the stealth approach, I don't see it happening so much in the US, even with Obama bowing at every opportunity.
Bush was called a lot of things, and the democrats said it was patriotic to voice dissent.
Remember? Or is it just not convenient to take a position and stay there?
But instead you would rather attack your opposition with anything but logic and facts. The politics of personal destruction, the label was from the clintons, and the left is using that tactic even here, with what you say and how you say it.
We want america to succeed, and Obama (the potus) has failed every time his policies are tried. Why would we want more of the same?
You are sounding more and more like an idiot. Of course, I could be wrong, are you sounding that way deliberately, or by accident? Hmm?
that's all anecdotal.
And what the heck is "adherents.com"?
you are basically quibbling in this response.
where has Obama failed? Only a negative person is going to imagine any particular failings.
your logic and facts are nothing but bullsh*t anecdotal perceptions and questionable references.
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c4c_1185534648
How many more would you like?
You're simply wrong. And if people like you fool enough americans we will all be dead some day.

Let's see, I'm imagining that unemployement is up. I must also be imagining that under his leadership casualties are up in Afganistan. And I must also be imagining that tax revenues are falling, and the deficit is soaring.
All that in my own little imagination? You give me far too much credit. It's all fact, all in the news and only the delusional ignore it.
What flavor cool aid is it today?
oh right its all Obama's fault.
an anecdote is an anecdote is an anecdote. send me 100 please.
make what up? That the KKK killed black people under burning crosses? That's pretty common knowledge.
Yes, the facts speak for themselves. And still he rushes forward with more of the same policies that have made the current situation worse. The only shovel ready part of the stimulus was to dig our way deeper into debt.
You are set in your opinion, and if I sent you a thousand you would lie and call it antidotal then go to a mosque and tell everyone about the horrible infidel that refuses to see anything!
First, there are not 7 million muslim americans.
http://www.adherents.com/largecom/com_islam_usa.h...
I am not generalizing, in the afternoon following the attack the media around the world showed crowds in every muslim nation cheering in the streets, Gaza had celebrations with crowds cheering. Muslim merchants in our Southern California Town cheered when a toward collapsed, and a customer punched him for it, and was arrested. Who is anti-american again?
I am biased, and you are biased. But I know what team I'm cheering on, wait…. I know what team you seem to be cheering on too.
It may be generalizing, but the acts of terror seem to be continuing, and I haven't read any press releases from CAIR denouncing it.

I'M NOT LYING. I agree with you that the KKK is not "mainstream" Christianity. I agree.
what part of history do I not understand?
so funny to hear YOU accuse ME of bigotry. What I have I said that was bigoted?
it was YOU who said to ME that I was "riding a camel". THAT is BIGOTRY.
Sir, it is you who is the bigot.
why are you such a bigot?
The fact that blacks currently live in fear of mainstream christians with wooden crosses.
There are far too many black churches with crosses proudly displayed.
And it was never mainstream Christians that did this, is was democrats like Robert Byrd. Place the blame where it belongs! And it's not the conservative Christians, the republicans that worked so hard to pass civil rights legislation.
Why do you lie so much? Do you not understand history, or just want to pass along hatred and bigotry for it's own sake?
You are a bigot.
Because when you call Christian racist murderers, I feel a duty to call it a lie. And that makes you a liar. When you say that gay people in bars are hunted down, with only one horrible example, then imply that Christians are responsible I call that a bigoted distortion of the facts.
Then you say that we can live peacefully with those that want us dead or converted. I call that stupidity, and extremely natve, and dangerously so.
Why am I so blunt with you? Because you so blatantly make things up and present them as truth, like the false number of muslims living in our country.

I am only emulating you. You are doing the same thing to Muslims.
I am only emulating you. You are doing the same thing to Muslims.
You are taking specific extreme examples and carrying them to represent the whole of the religion.
we would be worst off right now if not for the stimulus.

oh Bill, here we go again. What did I ever say that so offended your frail sensibilities?
If your name has nothing to do with religion, then why are you ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT religion?
You go on and on and on, but say nothing…. Ugh….
I did not know you could ride a camel…

Right, and the stimulus would keep unemployment at 8%. Face it, can you name one single piece of the stimulus that has worked?
You would want to think it has, but that's pie in the sky dreaming. FDR thought the same thing, but his spending kept the depressiongoing longer than other recoveries before. The market can and does correct itself, the government needs to get out of the way.
btw, you're showing all that negativity again. You just like to disagree for the sake of it.
He says he's not a converted muslim from prison. But he hasn't said that he likes to convert them while they're in prison. He seems to echo the black muslim take on world affairs.
Actually I have not. I have brought out common muslim practices that our media refuses to cover here in the US. If you're not aware of them I think you should research some more before venting here.
Just because you are uneducated doesn't mean I should pretend I am too.
Speaking of easily confused. When you repeat yourself like that, it makes it harder for me to take you seriously.
And you think you're up to date on muslim world affairs?
Did you know that Dracula and his brother were a prisoner of the Muslins. The Muslins burned Dracula's brother eyes out, then buried him alive.
After Dracula was release by the Muslins, Dracula killed the Muslins by putting them on sticks.
You told me you took psy. in 12th grade
Now your taking college courses.
Wow! good for you.

no. what religion are you Bill?
wow you are really paying attention. in this case, I merely used a manner of speaking. Did you get the point I was making?
I suppose that my name has plenty to do with religion. just not in the manner in which you accuse me.
besides, how did you guys get off sitting there telling me I'm a bigot, and then crack camel jokes?
I am not lutheran, either!
Do you use a Camel Saddles?
How do you put a camel saddle on?
So it is related to the church. In what way?
LOL.
LOL. "touche"
DO RA ME FA SO LA TE DO?
pas de touche
If your not asian, then how did you know it was a song?.
Did you sing it as a kid?
lucky guess.
its obviously either a song or a poem. this is the song for your favorite TV show right?
I dunno.
How do you like to wear your swastika arm band?
Pinocchio your nose is so long.
Hey Bill-
do you believe in God?
that's what she said!
Are you looking to joint the nazi party?
Sorry, I can't help you. Ask around.
No, I just remember numbers.
Have to go. Whating a halo fight!
Have to go. Watching a halo fight!
yes. And that's why you guys are all blood sucking devils.
So what your saying is that your are a muslim!
Is that correct.
So your saying your a muslim!
So your a muslim!
peoples' cognition of the world around them is generally informed by their religion – if they are religious that is.
you would love for us to be racists, wouldn't you. add something productive to the debate, other than comments about wearing swastikas on our arms . Otherwise, shut your food chute and move along.
And yet you refuse to explain how it is. Why is that?
If you refuse to say, why should he?
If you refuse to explain your beliefs, why should he?
Simple, I ask you to give regards to your camel because some of the countries with camels have large populations of muslims. Why would hinting about your religion be a bad thing unless you are ashamed of your belief system?
The Nazi party was socialist, you would wear an armband much more quickly than any conservative who wants small government.
Bigot.
Strange you didn't call the Romans blood sucking devils for all the crucifixions they performed. But one vengeful count and you pin that on every single Christian? That is bigotry. Bigot.
I doubt it. Real men don't have to make up witty sayings to claim large endowment.
whoah now buddy. Don't put words in my mouth. Those Romans doing the crucifications – that's bad stuff too. Where do you think Vlad the Impaler learned that sort of thing from!? Probably from the Romans. to me, they are all violent barbarians, along with Hitler, Stalin, Saddam, bin Ladin, and oh, I dunno… King Henry VIII. maybe mention Ferdinand II of Aragon just for good measure.
No, I'm just a critical thinker. An equal opportunity critic of oppression.
Agreed. But for the record, I enjoy witty sayings period. I could care less what you guys think about my privates. I consider that sort of thing… private.
no I wouldn't love it for you to be racists. Would you love it for us to be racists?
I just don't enjoy being called a "camel" or whatever. And when I am being called that, I do want to label and discourage that behavior. Is that wrong of me?
Do you think its a good thing or a bad thing when people make camel jokes in a public forum? Is that good citizenry? Or good sport?
Funny!
well I'm sorry for being such a pain in your ass then. Oh wait a second. No, I'm not. That's my goal! ha-HA!
I'm very mildly impressed with your riding experience. Although I'm not sure how its relevant.
Yes, you are critical every time you think about it!
Yet you only put that label on Christians in your post.
And the impaling goes as far back as the Assyrians.
by the way, Skeeter. I like your profile description. but I am curious what you mean by: "In matters of style, swim with the current." I could take that to mean a range of things. any comment?
Sure.. by that I mean we should embrace certain elements of popular culture… particularly along the lines of fashion and dress, style of speech and writing, etc. Its about the way you present yourself, your thoughts, your ideas, and your principles. You can't dress and talk like you're from the 1700's and expect people to understand you and take you serious. That's my interpretation, anyway.
You have enough things wrong with you for all of us.
By the way, I have riden a horse, camel and an elephant! Plus, I do know how to saddle a camel.
