Cold Chaos: Big Gov Wants You For Senator From Alaska, Today!
by Dan RiehlIf you’re an Alaska resident and qualified to run for Senate, Big Government wants you to take action today to highlight the chaos brought about by Lisa Murkowski’s seemingly unending quest for power with her write-in campaign. But you must act today.
Early yesterday, Alaska Superior Court Judge, Frank Pfiffner followed the rule of law, maintaining that Alaska’s voting regulations can not suddenly be changed in an ad hoc manner at the last minute to benefit Murkowski’s write-in campaign.
Dealing a setback to the write-in Senate campaign of incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski, an Alaska superior-court judge ruled today that election workers can’t provide lists of write-in candidates to voters on Election Day, calling it a “clear violation” of Alaska regulations.
In its 50 year history as a state, Alaskan election workers have never been allowed to provide lists of write-in candidates on election day. But late yesterday, the Alaska Supreme Court stayed his order, allowing for the unprecedented practice to proceed.
While it remains unclear how the court may ultimately rule, there is something qualified Alaskans can and should do today to let those in power know you are paying attention to how they use it.
The order from the state’s highest court temporarily allows that list of write-in candidates to be handed out, with conditions. But those who disagree with the decision say the state’s entire political process is at stake.
The decision is a potential game-changer for Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s write-in campaign, as well as those of her opponents, Democrat Scott McAdams and Republican Joe Miller.
Lisa Murkowski has recently made it known that she does not believe the law, or even the Constitution, should get in the way of how she thinks Alaskans and all Americans should be governed. See video at bottom. If the Alaska Supreme Court rules in her favor, they will be saying precisely the same thing. What you can do is make sure that your name, too, is listed as a write-in candidate for Senate from Alaska by election officials simply by completing two forms and following the accompanying instructions.
Here is a one page candidate registration form. Here is the appropriate financial disclosure form. If even one qualified Alaskan completes the forms and follows the instructions, a significant statement will have been made.
This is your chance to let the ruling class know you are watching and are fed up with the silly games. It is time our courts and our legislators abide by our laws and our Constitution. Heck, who knows, if you’re lucky, enough people might opt to write-in your name, allowing you to become part of the ruling class. Now, wouldn’t that be a hoot! Embrace the cold chaos and enlist in Big Government’s effort. We want you to run for the Senate from Alaska. But to make a difference, you must file the forms above. Do it today!

This is why the GOP is still in trouble. They- the mainstream Repubs- would very much like her back, for she is, at the end of the day, not a whole lot different than the Dem Progressives. It's a matter of degree. She will reliably vote for further expansions of government, for more power and perks, and then regally deposit some scraps to her constituency.
Miller, for all his flaws, will answer TO his constituents- not lord over them. The GOP is trying desperately to, as Trent Lott recently said, 'co-opt' the Tea Party candidates. For, you see, all roads MUST lead to Rome. Glenn Beck told Jim Demint (R,SC) (and one of the true good guys in the party) that if the GOP gets power back and compromises with the Progressives that 'they are done as a party'.

State election regulations say "information" about a write-in candidate may not be "discussed, exhibited or provided" at the polling place, or within 200 feet of the entrance to the polling place, on election day. This is what the judge ruled on.
This is pretty clear, but Murkowski's stance is "she does not believe the law, or even the Constitution, should get in the way of how she thinks Alaskans and all Americans should be governed".
Legally, we cannot add false names to the write in list. The write in list, as it stands right now, is illegal. Obviously, this RINO doesn't give a shit about the law, morals, integrity or fairness. It is all about power and self interests.
We have seen so many examples of fraud with these elections, she will do whatever she feels is necessary to continue her family tradition of corrupted behavior.

The real problem people should take note of is the fact that write in votes don't count unless a candidate files to accept them prior to election. Votes for ANYONE should be counted REGARDLESS!!!! I don't care if write ins are for Mickey Mouse. They should be counted as cast.
this is funny. the whole election process has just been thrown out, so a losing republican candidate can try her best to cling to power. and the worst part is the judges agreed with her, that voters be dammed, you need her and only her on the ballot. she was on the ballot once already and lost, so now it is up to alaskans to put every person they can think of on the list, and make it so she will be seen on page 45 of 100. i hope the rules are the list must be in alphabetical order, so every letter before m need only do this form. then she would be near last on the list, and discourage anybody too stupid to spell her name currently, to even find it. i suppose her voters must be dumb, if she must force elections officials to hand out a cheat sheet with her name spelled correctly, perhaps we can have the person printing the list misspell her name?

I want an Alaskan Senator who's not afraid of the tough questions or the people asking them; he'll just have his unlicensed private security force illegally detain them and violate their civil liberties. It is illegal to submit fraudulent information to a government agency (in my state, at least – probably in all states). You could find yourself in criminal court, if you come to the attention of some state attorney trying to make a name for him/herself.
Please, if you're going to run for senate in Alaska today, GREAT! Do it! But submit your real name – don't take the chance that a rash action to make a political point will result in legal problems for you. After all, we need you to continue the fight!

* Obama claimed that Caterpillar’s CEO had told him that Caterpillar would begin hiring again as a result of the stimulus bill; but that individual immediately announced that he had said no such thing, and that Caterpillar would in fact be laying off more workers.
* Candidate Obama promised that Guantanamo would be closed by January 1, 2010; but it is still open.
* Candidate Obama met fears that he would be a tax and spend liberal by promising, emphatically and repeatedly, that those earning under $200,000 would see no increase in their taxes of any kind; but he now urges passage of a healthcare bill that breaks that pledge in many different ways, and his unrestrained increase in federal spending makes more tax increases inevitable.
* Candidate Obama promised bipartisanship and an end to partisan bickering; but in a display of especially ruthless partisanship his allies have shut Republicans out of all key meetings on his health care initiative, with the unprecedented result that domestic legislation of historic importance garnered not a single Republican vote in the Senate.
* Candidate Obama criticized his opponent’s plan to tax employer paid healthcare benefits, and promised he would not tax them; but the bill he now backs will do just that.
* Obama had promised that he would not sign a healthcare bill that would add one dime to the federal deficit; but the bill he now backs adds trillions in new federal spending, offset only by new sources of revenue that are both uncertain and more properly seen as offsetting the already existing deficit.
* Obama criticized the size of George Bush’s deficit and promised to stop deficit spending if elected; but he has already quadrupled the size of the deficit he objected to and recklessly continues new federal spending in the trillions.
* When campaigning Obama criticized bills before the congress that were too long for anyone to be able to read and promised to stop that; but the bills he has been backing throughout his first year are infinitely longer (2000+ pages) than the ones he criticized.
* Candidate Obama promised an end to the corruption of earmarks and pork, but in the bills he has supported this year there have been more and bigger earmarks than ever before.
* Candidate Obama promised us that CIA personnel involved in the interrogation of terrorists would not be prosecuted; but his administration is now doing exactly that.
* Obama assured a joint session of Congress that the health bill he supported (pre-Stupak) would not provide public funding for abortions; but bitter resistance on the part of House Democrats to inclusion of language to that effect soon proved that it did.
* Candidate Obama promised that he would make sure that there was always enough time for the public to read legislation before it was enacted; but he has done exactly the opposite, repeatedly pressing for even faster passage of even longer bills.

That is what the members of the TEA party are doing. The cleanup of the repugnut party and the disposal of the rinos is absolutely mandatory. Next step is the 2012 elections. But we must get by the 2 Nov elections first with an overwhelming win in the house and senate. We may not capture the senate but we should gain at least 6 to 8 seats which will be enough to impede obama's agenda. The house seems to be in the bag, so to speak, if the conservatives and independents turn out in record numbers to counter the fraud of the dim socialists.
