I Condemn the NAACP: Where Is the Evidence of Tea Party Racism?
by Deroy Murdock
I condemn the NAACP. I condemn it because I still am waiting to see video footage and/or hear audio tape to prove their repeated accusations that Tea Party activists hurled “racial epithets” at Representative John Lewis (D-GA) and other black members of Congress just before the House of Representatives’ final votes on ObamaCare.
Those congressmen were surrounded by TV cameras, radio news recorders, plus cell phone cameras, amateur video cameras, video-equipped digital cameras, etc. How did NONE of those high-tech devices manage to capture anybody lobbing racial insults at these black congressmen?
If such comments actually were uttered, the NAACP and its leftist allies would have played them over and over and over and over and over and over and over to embarrass and humiliate Republicans, conservatives and the allegedly racist tea party movement. In fact, no one has stepped forward to collect Andrew Breitbart’s $100,000 prize for any documentary proof that these supposed race bombs ever were dropped on their targets.
The NAACP’s vicious and baseless attacks on its opponents do not reflect reality. Rather, they confirm the NAACP’s paranoia and rapidly growing irrelevance.

How many of these postings is it going to take to either get a response out of the NAACP, or MSM-? I know, it's rhetorical.
It's all straw grasping. The Dems are trying to stir up a Race war before the Nov. election, to improve their chances of a) getting the black community angry and out to vote against those "racist" republicans, and b) try and get White voters to vote Dem to "prove" they aren't racist Republicans. Straight out of Alinsky's Playbook. I have never seen a political party adopt such blatantly dishonest and fraudulent tactics so quickly.
The NAACP have failed the black community, they must like homes without fathers, drugs and gangs and Black Panthers.
"I condemn the NAACP" articles are brilliant BG. Let's keep shoving it down their throats.
Just as long as they can suckle at the warm full government teat. Whatever will they do when the teat runs dry?
Somewhere between zip, zero and nada. I am not holding my breath for any of the major networks or newspapers to say anything.
And abortions. Now they gots da gubment paying for them.

Evidence is not important. It's how serious the charges are — that's what matters. Didn't say it made sense.
Time for AB to start selling "I Condemn the NAACP" T-Shirts. A flood of them at the next Tea Party rallies should send a very clear message that their race-baiting nonsense will not be tolerated.
So, John Lewis is either a liar, or he'd better see a psychiatrist and have those voices
in his head checked out.
Truth to the left: "So I have stated, so it IS."
PROOF of an accusation is so bourgeois
I'd want a twist on the T Shirt:
"I Condemn NAACP Racism"
Conservatives believe it when they see it…liberals see it when they believe it.
Day 86 in the Gulf.
Remember November ,http://remembernovember.com/
You are spot on. That is all they have, everything they promised was all lies. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
Can I borrow the cabin for the weekend?
Nice
After yesterday, I guess the NAACP now stands for
Negroe Adults Acting Completely Prejudiced.
And for THAT…………….I condemn you.
Your putting your 100 year old organization back about 50 or so years. Not a very effective business model.
I gather from the NAACP activities along with liberals, they are trying their best to stir up a race war before the election. Trying to provoke and bait anybody they can find to get them to react. Never mind they spout bigotry themselves. Never mind they ignore overt, KKK like bigotry from the Black Panthers. Nothing to see there of course. This is a racist group trying their best to antagonize race relations for their own political ends. It won't work but they keep trying.
I sort of figure that for 100 grand a person who actually called out racist things would turn in the evidence off his or her own phone or camera.
That's a whole lot of money
Their outrageous aspersions also prove their race-baiting political agenda….as if they hadn't made this obvious for decades.
Obama has second middle name and East African orgins: http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot.com/2010/...
That's better.
What do you want the MSM to say??? Do you want them to defend the Tea Parties??
Seriously, you don't think that when Cason and Lewis journeyed through that alabaster sea of protest that not ONE person thought, 'goddang, ni$$ers'?
Please.
The NAACP is overdue in speaking up for its members.
You folks are almost evil.
This is all part of the intelligent discourse on race promised by the President. Sometimes, conversations can start of uncomfortably if the message hits home.
Despite being one of, if not the most peaceful movements in history, the NAACP is lashing out at the Tea Parties and calling them racists and bigots. Go figure. This is a very transparent action for all of US to see. Shame on them. They do not reflect what MLK believed in. They really need to read his words, and take them to heart.
Rep. Lewis
You're fortunate you are from a gerrymandered district, populated by Obamaton drones,
who think you're the 2nd coming of MLK….
If only they really knew…
Gosh! Sounds like the professional victims that is the N.A.A.C.P. is staring at its own irrelevance, and is doing all it can to bring back the 1940's and 50's, good luck with that, maybe a few more clips of that mental midget KING PAP SAMIR SHABAZZAL-HOSSINFECT-INCORPARATED spouting off his racism on killing white cracker babies will get him and the rest of the hate filled naacp stuffed in a slow boat to Africa.
GG,
"The Tea Party needs to issue a general condemnation and zero tolerance of racism, tolerance for bigotry and bigoted statements within the Tea Party and all other orginizations."
Wrong. If they do that, the MSM will pounce on it as though it is a tacit admission on the part of the TEA Parties that there was a problem at some point. We know who we are, and so do they, THAT is why they lie about it…
Malicious race-baiting and slanderous accusations are "intelligent discourse." Right.
You really are living up (down) to your namesake.
I'd want a twist on the T Shirt:Yeah. I'm considering a whole line of "I Condemn Racism" shirts.
I Condemn Liberal Racism
I Condemn Black Panther Racism
I Condemn Eric Holder's Racism
I Condemn Jimmy Carter's Racism
I Condemn Bill Clinton's Racism
I Condemn Progressive Racism
I Condemn ACORN's Racism
The list is so long. And who could be against condemning racism?
Well said, Mr. Murdock. Although obvious, the fact no audio has been produced ensures the historical record will be accurate.
The real tragedy of that day was the will of the people was ignored. Such tragedy should not be overshadowed by false accusations being hurled in an attempt to cause distraction.
National Association of Anti "Cracka" Prejudice
I'm sure Mr. Murdock is so hurt and offended by a dumb-ass such as yourself who can't even spell "Keith", Kieth…
"Whatever will they do when the teat runs dry?"
What they always do. Burn stuff.
Personally, I don't give a rodent's rear end if they decide to continue demonizing the Tea Parties members or they start supporting them. They pay for their words with the loss in viewer trust and ratings. All I want is for them to admit that there's not a shred of evidence that the racial slurs in question were ever uttered. Reporting it as a fact with no evidence of such is just flaunting their bias and lack of "journalistic integrity".
Also, in response to your second statement (classy using dollar signs instead of g's, I'm sure), you're saying that the possibility that someone thought that is just as bad as someone actually saying that. I'm pretty sure that falls under the jurisdiction of the thought police, which I believe quite a lot of people are against.
Thank you for speaking out, you are a great American.
GF, so whadathink…………Carvill or Slick himself?
I usually get sick of it real fast when the Bigs run with the same story over and over. Not this time! Keep it comin' boys! (and ladies). I have a few friends in IL-43 that will be voting for Cedra Crenshaw. She will get back on the ballot and she will win.

Thoughts are private, actions are not. Your comment makes zero sense and NAACP is long overdue for closure.
Ironically, the Dems are stirring up the Republican and Independent base to rebalance power in America in Nov!!
All Americans condemining NAACP are informed patriots – tea party or otherwise. This patriot joins in that condemnation and prays for a time the issue of race is not being constantly pushed in my face by weaker minded organizations longing to extend the entitlement mentality. I would love to see NBPP thugs at my polling place in the Atlanta area and I would love to engage any one of them in an informed discussion. However, if need be, as Shabazz said, "I would be ready to rumble" with them if that was the course they would rather take.
Keep the faith and stay engaged. Thanks.
Especially since Conservatives are all supposed to be greedy.
Stirring up racial tensions to get the black community out to vote. These folks make me want to puke.

Thoughts are the impetus of hate crimes.
Thumbs up, Mr galt fan!! looks like the the conservative women have the needed stones in their panties, while the progressive men, esp in the cities, just have panties.
Cedra Crenshaw-type women are the future and I welcome them.
"Where is the evidence of tea party racism?" Buried in the minds of practicing racists, just where the majority of racist behaviors are. Fanned by a liberal progressive movement who seek to eliminate all decision making from people they feel lack the capacity to grow and develop as contributing members of society. Thank you for stepping up and acknowledging that all you need is the opportunity to thrive in a competitive enviornment Deroy. I am glad you are a fellow Tea Party Patriot.
Thanks for stepping forward on this issue Deroy, and commended for being positive…
Without question, the NAACP is living in the past, and out of step with main stream America.
Sounds like exactly what the NAACP is asking for. In essence, all they said was either own it, or condemn it. And you're all going nuts (more than usual) about it. Get a grip, you're either a racist organization or you're not. It shouldn't be a big deal to you… but it is isn't it. What does that say about you I wonder.
All I ever see on the comment sectoin of this blog is how racist Liberals are and then as per usual, about three or four comments down is some racist remark about the President. I blow it off because it doesn't matter what any of you think. I wonder why you all can't blow it off.
Joseph_of_Steel said- "Thoughts are the impetus of hate crimes. "
(I recopied what he posted in case he tries to pull a retract.)
Wow! How Orwellian can you get??? You must be a fan of Big Brother in the worst way. What do you want next, the Thought Police?
Unbelievably stupid remark Joseph, just unbelievable.
Not all thought leads to hate crimes as your vastly-generalized statement seems to imply. However, you're still bringing up the argument that someone should be condemned on the fact that a thought had the remote possibility of crossing someone's mind even for an instant and should be treated as if a person acted on that thought.
I'm speaking in slight hyperbole, but according to what seems to be your line of reasoning, the times I've flirted with the idea of strangling my sister when she said something particularly embarrassing about me yet never actually acted on it is the same as if I had actually reached out and tried to choke her to death. Therefore, I should be charged and sent off to jail for, at the very least, assault. No crime was actually committed, but the thought was there so the punishment must be the same.
Thank you, Mr. Murdoch, for doing the job that journalists from the alphabet news will not do. You are a credit to our great nation.
KS2,
Yeah, I have noticed that most of the "men" in the (R) party are actually women. Cedra definitely seems like one of the good "guys" to me (and she's pretty cute, too!). I donated $50.00 to her campaign today and would encourage anyone else who can, to do the same. I hate thinking in terms of race, as it offends me to my core, but I do want to see more "minorities" elected to the better side of the aisle…
I'm surprised the left didn't plant people in the crowd to yell the N word. The tea party better be concerned about antics like that.
I love that it's "Condem the NAACP" Day at Big Government! Look at all of these beautiful conservatives who happen to be people of color. Would also love to see some posts from Alfonzo Rachel, Katrina Pierson, etc. Oh, and vote for Tim Scott in South Carolina!
And they want it for exactly the reason I stated. There is $100k sitting on Mr. Breitbart's table for anyone who comes forward with actual evidence of spitting or use of racial epithets when 30-40,000 people protested against an unconstitutional usurpation of their rights when "Obamacare" was shoved down our throats. No such evidence exists. Attendees to these clean, peaceful gatherings are also smart enough to bring cameras for both video and still pics. The phony-ass infiltrators/antagonists get outed pretty quick. You side will keep trying
Whiny pricks like you either know or sense that a large, long over-due correction is coming. Smear tactics are all you've got. The Demonrats are out of ideas and have gone full-gangster since 1/09. Your "ideas" and your party are not "on the right side of history". Thanks to the right, they are about to be put on the ash-heap of history…
Funny we've gone from few hundred people chanting the N-word in broad daylight, down to one guy who was probably THINKING the n-word.
Now the WH says that Al Qaeda is racist. So, the Tea Party is racist, AQ is racist; does this mean we are all going on the No Fly list?
Now you're a mind reading race baiter. You don't have an F'n clue.
Oops. My commnet direct to "Joseph of Sttel" – hopefully, obviously.
Fpr T Party I think it is "no breathe" list. We threaten their very survival. AQ does not.
It's truly a sad, sad day when the greatest threat to the existence of this once-proud organization is the possibility that black people might end up being viewed and treated as if they're just like anyone else.
JOS, I want what occurs on this blog site. If someone makes an accusation (untrue) and it is refuted and backed up by scores of reputable spokespeople (most of them black, who NAACP is supposed to be a voice for), I would expect a response.
As far as the media, the last time I checked liberals wanted "fair and balanced" reporting. If we have the Main Steam Media completely ignoring something I consider very prominent and verging on epic in fellow "people of color" condemning the NAACP for their position, I would hope the media would report it and make the NAACP respond.
Instead the MSM is ignoring it and the NAACP is hiding under the table hoping they can get away with their big lie.
If you are calling those who align themselves with the TEA Party movement as racist, then obviously you have never been to any event. Most of, if not all of these bloggers have been and know first hand. I suggest, if you are really interested in finding out, you attend an event and listen with an open mind. Personally, I would not stand for aligning myself with any racist group.
Mr. Murdock has brought up an important topic. I know there are some
racists here and I want to help you. Confess your sins and all will be
forgiven. Repent now and then go to my web site and make a generous
donation. Thank You In Advance.
And Progressism
A T-shirt for every day
I love it
Mr galt fan..thanks for writing back. Here in NV, we have a great woman, Sharron Angle, with real "stones" who is on course to unseat the worthless Harry Reid. We sent her $100. a few weeks ago. First time we've ever contributed to a candidate directly. I encourage all who can, to do it. They, the conservatives need the money to counter the lies emanating from the desperate Democrats, who think everyone not a liberal is a racist.
I guess I'm a racist, as I loath Black liberals, who keep my people in mental chains and on the regressive plantation.
You sound like a good guy, galt fan, I've been following your comments and have enjoyed your obvious passion for objective Constitutional values.
In the end, it's what separates us from all the other fair to miserable countries on this planet.
"I wonder" Those are called airplanes. . .and those are birds. . .
The NAACP, whose charter and very name is racist, accuses the tea partiers of being racist.
We live in Orwellian times, where words have lost any objective meaning and are defined at the whim of the nomenklatura.
We'll see more of that in the coming months.
However, consider doing the same to them. How about some Che & Marx posters at Dem rallies?
The sad part is that they'd like them.
Barney Frank should be on the No Fly list.
Start with these folks:
Black tea partiers rebut NAACP
Thank you to all of you conservative Americans who happen to be of color, thank you for your postings – I truly believe it will be the job of the conservative minorities to stand up for the Tea Party movement and its truly principled positions, of which race has no part. BG please keep them coming, I would love to see hundreds of postings…..
Intelligent discourse? Tell us. What was so intelligent about his saying the officers "acted stupidly" when he ADMITTEDLY didn't have all the facts? Would you say what Obama witnessed spewing from the mouth of Reverend Wright for 20+ years was "intelligent discourse"? Would you say it's intelligent of the NAACP to ignore the racist and hate filled rantings of the accused member of the New Black Panther "party"? Would you say it's "intelligent discourse" to accuse everyone of racism because they disagree with the president simply because he is black? What then would you call every black person that disagreed with President Bush's or Clinton's policies and spending habits?
You might want to take a hard look in the mirror before you make you determiniation about who is or isn't evil.
The NAACP was founded by three black hating White men who wanted to keep the blacks in slavery in the new plantation. It worked. Just look at blacks today. Under the white NAACP they have not only become slaves, the enjoy being slaves.
How about "I condemn racism"? You can watermark the names of all the institutions who are guilty like the NAACP, La Raza, KKK, Skin Heads, the CBC and the list goes on. Without a doubt there are enough to cover a long sleeved shirt shirt with them with names to spare. Those who are guilty of it will know who they are. In all likelihood those who are the most guilty will challenge you by justifying their hatred by blaming others. I know this. I would most likely get pounded wearing such a shirt around Baton Rouge. It's a touchy enough subject I'd have to wear a holstered tazer and industrial sized mace as deterants.
Please. If the Tea Party organization says, "We condemn racist elements within our ranks" the NAACP will say, "Ah ha! Your organization is made up of racists!" If the Tea Party tells the NAACP to shove it, then the NAACP can say, "Ah ha! Your organization is made up of racists!" It's a "heads we win, tails you lose" proposition set up by the NAACP.
What we're upset about – besides being called racists simply because we disagree with this president – is the fact the resolution by the NAACP has nothing at all to do with their being concerned with civil rights. They know the Tea Parties aren't racist. They're only concern is ginning up anger and resentment within the black community towards white people. They're not interested in constructive discourse, or in bringing people together. For months, the Tea Party was accused of using inflammatory rhetoric that might incite violence (even though none occurred). But the NAACP calls an entire organization "genetic descendants" of white supremacist groups and continues to lie about members of Congress being called the n-word, and you want us to "blow it off."
And there in lies the crux of the issue.
You're not condemned as racists because you disagree with the President. That's BS and you all know it's true (and has racial undertones of it's own). What I am sure is true is that on an individual basis, many of you are fine upstanding citizens, but not even you can deny the evidence of racial undertone that gets captured time and time again at Tea Party rallies. Like any group, you're going to get all kinds of people.
As stated before, I read what the NAACP is asking for. Own it, or condemn it is what they want. Now you can give it to them, or you can tell them F-off, either way makes no difference to me. So far, all I've seen from the Tea Party (on racism accusations) is the "I'm rubber and you're glue" defence. Just because someone points out racism in your fringe group does not make the accuser a racist. Unfortunatly it does put you all in the unfortunate position of proving your innocents. I sympathize with that, but still, the underlying racism is hard to ignore.
I think he was making fun of Olbermann.
You keep saying that there's a racial undertone that is captured time and time again, but I'm not sure what that is. I've been to my fair share of Tea Party rallies, even the one in D.C., and I've witnessed no racism – overt or covert. And the Tea Party has already said that anyone who shows up at a rally promoting violence or anything offensive or racist or will be escorted out, and that racism has no place in our message. If that's all the NAACP is asking for, then the Tea Party has done it.
But the NAACP hasn't simply said that "well, the Tea Party is just like any group, and they'll get all kinds" as you say. Their record claims there is "explicitly racist behavior" within the Tea Parties, and they use a lie as the primary example of that behavior. How could the Tea Party possibly condemn something that never happened? The NAACP is claiming the Tea Party "tolerates racism and bigotry" and is descendant from white supremacist groups. They're not referring to the "fringes" when they say this, they're referring to the entire organization.
If only Black folks throughout this country realized how immature,………
their NAACP is making them look.
"…….Get a grip, you're either a racist organization or you're not. It shouldn't be a big deal to you…….."
We are well aware of what is a "big deal to us",…………there jadwy
what is interesting is what a big deal it is,…….
for those of you who haven't the foggiest idea of what we are.
Here you go: http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=off&a...
Yes, I think he's being sarcastic.
Hey, notice your rating? Can't you take a hint? Or are you a troll?
Rep. John Lewis should be forced to step down.
His willingness to falsley charge individuals with making such racist comments warrants his immediate resignation.
HE should be questioned about this wherever he goes, until he explains his actions.
She will get back on the ballot and she will win.
And if I might add, she'll look good doing it too.
Go Cedra, or should I say the future Representative Crenshaw!!!
you 'recopied' my statement in order to capture it for eternity and post that retort?
I will save you the embarrassment of 'recopying' your post….feel free to try to smarten it up..
I'm not a racist, I've got a big black dog and 3 colored tv's………………..
Ummm…..you aren't using my line of reasoning, friend.
Where did I ever say anyone should be locked up or convicted of a crime for their thoughts?
Wow, talk about leap.
Look, if an intellectual dialogue on this topic overwhelms you, just sit it out. No shame in that.
Bet you are that guy.
Chopper slices, dices and nails it… If you ever find that woman you are seeking, please ask her if she has a sister… small favors between the like minded…
Of course I haven't been to a tea party event.
I don't associate with racists.
Good grief.
Please continue to comment, you but prove my point to everyone.
"Thoughts are the impetus of hate crimes. "
This is what you said, there's very little room for misinterpretation. Sizemorew nailed you to the wall, but you (predictably) can't see that.
Future "State Senator Crenshaw" … If I may set my "racism" aside for a moment, she will "look" damn fine doing it…

A bit vapid here and there, but she is a politician… Lovin' the education policies myself… We have a winner!!!
Joseph, when you dig yourself into hole, stop digging, you are in way over your head child.
Based on TWO comments? You are far more trusting than I am… I think the d***f**k is an aspiring troll.
I "believe" "Kieth" was traumatized by some nuns with the "i before e, except after c" rule (guide???) and just never figured it out… But that's just me…
Don't mind if I swipe that for future use do you?
I just looked his profile quip and cracked up.
