University of Michigan Study Confirms Link Between Financial Bailout and Corruption
by Dan Mitchell
Since Senators engaged in open extortion and bribery to enact Reid’s government-run healthcare plan, it is hardly newsworthy that Washington is riddled with corruption. But the magnitude of sleaze is probably far greater than most people realize. There is a new study from a couple of academics at the University of Michigan, who found significant relationships between lobbying and bailout money, as well as a greater chance of getting bailouts depending on a bank’s ties with either the Federal Reserve or key members of Congress. Hopefully, people across America will draw the obvious conclusion and realize that big government is inherently corrupting, as discussed in this video. Reuters has the details on this latest example of big government and malfeasance:
U.S. banks that spent more money on lobbying were more likely to get government bailout money, according to a study released on Monday. Banks whose executives served on Federal Reserve boards were more likely to receive government bailout funds from the Troubled Asset Relief Program, according to the study from Ran Duchin and Denis Sosyura, professors at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Banks with headquarters in the district of a U.S. House of Representatives member who serves on a committee or subcommittee relating to TARP also received more funds. Political influence was most helpful for poorly performing banks, the study found. “Political connections play an important role in a firm’s access to capital,” Sosyura, a University of Michigan assistant professor of finance, said in a statement. Banks with an executive who sat on the board of a Federal Reserve Bank were 31 percent more likely to get bailouts through TARP’s Capital Purchase Program, the study showed. Banks with ties to a finance committee member were 26 percent more likely to get capital purchase program funds.

We should all face the fact, that what we are living and witnessing is the Fall of the Roman Empire Redux.
If the money ends up in your pocket its not corruption its just politics. A socialist economy is run by political favors
The problem I keep having with these stories, is that they're posted as though they were all somehow new occurrences that coincide with Dems rise to power, when the truth is that D.C. is no more or less corrupt today than it was 5 years ago, or 50 years ago. It's just corruption under a new banner, and it stunk as much before as it does now. Hopefully people who believe in conservative government will excoriate Rs with equal outrage and vitriol.
When Palin whomped the hell out of a republican powerhouse in Alaska, she did not spare the knives for corrupt republican cohorts, in fact they were the first to go down leaking at the jugulars, and she was right from the get go, it wasn't a short few years later that dirty Rs were being perp walked into courtrooms. We need more like her, else it will only be the same stink coming from a different kettle.
I couldn't agree more. I've sat on my back porch many o' moons and wondered just how the Roman empire fell… Now i'm getting to see it first hand.
you are right again.. shall we predict which city falls to the barbarians first.. I say LA.
Why do we keep listening to the thugs and crooks that line up in Washington everyday. Is there just one Congressman or women that can stand up for the PEOPLE. They pass laws they don't follow, they tax yet pay no tax, they push healthcare just not for themselves.(lets not bring that up).
Obama's own words seem to be fading.
1. c-span coverage of all bills voted on. (not even close)
2. Bipartisianship (ha ha ha)
3.Change we can believe in.(there is change) God help us.
4.No new taxes on the middle class.( well tax , fee there all the same )
5. Healthcare is just pork spending and coverage for the poor.If it was real healthcare reform I mean health insurance reform.OK the 2000 pages of payoffs, cheap deals and PORK.(this one will hurt for a long time)
Palin is no saint.
As mayor of Wasilla, she hired lobbyists to get earmark godfather Ted Stevens to transfer tens of millions of taxpayer dollars from the lower 49 to her little town's pet pork projects. I don't live in Alaska. My children will be paying interest to communist tyrants in China for Wasilla's pork projects.
As governor, she had no problem scaling this up to the entire state. Her lobbyists brought home billions in taxpayer funds from the criminal pork racket of Stevens and Young. State agencies under her direction ladled out the lard as fast as it came in. All the while, there was not one peep out of her about the DC borrow-and-spend waste machine.
She even spearheaded rallies for the atrocious Gravina Island "Bridge to Nowhere" ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thu... )
Meanwhile, she railed against waste in HER state. She pretended to be a fiscal conservative so her constituents could keep reaping the benefits of corruption without having to pay for it. The lower 49 did that.
This is what this study attempts to communicate. It is the system that is corrupt. The only way this will change is if conservative voters of principle elect people who enact reforms to make the corruption cartels impossible.
Politicians, as a class, aren't saints, nor will they ever be. Some (like Coburn, DeMint, and Flake) refuse to participate in the corruption. Most of them aren't, because the system favors those who engage in backroom corruption and all manners of unethical horse trading.
It is perversely Darwinistic. Those most capable of eating each other alive survive each election cycle.
Palin is no saint.

There are few things more sacred to a republic than representation. The one man one vote and all it’s citizens are represented equally promise. Why isn’t voter fraud hounded out of existence? Voter fraud is a direct assault on our republic, it can kill a nation. There is nothing more fraudulent than gerrymandering and it’s creation of an artificial majority based on party affiliation not representation to silence the dissention of we the people. It is one of the reason our congress does not listen to we the people. Gerrymanderng is a creation of the government parties to protect their power and to turn representation into re-election.. The parties can not speak of freedom until districts are based on representation not party affiliation. Parties created the PAC system to reap the reward of their corruption and same time it silences the people..
Why do you think Glenn Beck is pushing "Re-Founders". We need another revolution (bloody or not) and a new round of founders. Meanwhile, we should demand prosecution for this bribery.
Ya think!?!?!?!?!
WTF. Now I'm not paying a dime in taxes. Come make me.

Also just in the SKY is BLUE
Water WET…
Well I live in Wasilla and you seem to be misinformed. I have not seen any pet pork projects of which you speak. Wasilla has a very good economy and is growing because Anchorage housing is limited and overpriced. I have watched the town of Wasilla grow since the 80's when Sarah was in high school. By the way Alaska sends more money to the Federal Government per capita than any other state. So don't make it sound like we rely on the LOWER 49.
What do you expect from a mesionic rock star? The American people will suffer. It is long overdue. It took 80 years fom the "Screw deal" to hope and change. The audacity of it all. I think ole Obummer is the best thing to happen to our nation since Jimmy Carter. People are giving up their apathetic attitudes and becoming involved. Actually acting like the government they should be. Keep up the good work Barry! One thing to remember is these elected leaders are still only human, when the mob takes over I for one do not want to be in the throne of power. Nothing very good or very bad lasts very long. God bless.

You are right, Roman empire collapsed on the weight of the masses rebellion, invaders and rampant corruption among officials.
Wrong, Detroit has already fallen.
Ever play a game as a child that some other kid made up? Remember what it was like when you were about to win then suddenly you were informed about some new rule that prevented it and favored the person who made the game? As a child, you may have tried to keep playing for awhile, but quickly figured out that you can't win a game when someone keeps changing the rules to work against you. What did you do? You left and played a different game. The time to put that lesson into practice is NOW. Time to switch games, er, governments. Because none of us are going to win the game we're in right now. I say we the patriots need to gather in one area of the country, declare independence, and, if necessary, be ready to fight for it as our forefathers did! Thanks for your time and God Bless!
My family is 130 years in "thity of dethriot" as spoken by CA Young. At its peak, was the city of dreams: jobs, standard of living, financial strength, manufacturing, parks, music, churches, art and schools. Now it is 3rd world. left 20 years ago. would liked to have stayed if it had any future.
Wasilla received a bonanza of pork spending, much of it coming after Palin took over. Many of these projects were even criticized by McCain, CAGW, and other taxpayer advocates.
She hired lobbyists and lawyers to bring home the bacon. Why should the rest of the country pay for these local, parochial projects when Alaska has tens of billions of dollars in cash in the permanent fund?
Alaska is #1 in per capita pork spending. Its two longtime Senators, Stevens and Young, were kingpins of government waste. Palin was completely silent about all of this. Shame, Sarah. As governor, all she did was sweep the problem under the rug because her constituents weren't paying for it. Also, the state of Alaska actually receives more from the lower 49 than it sends back.
The problem is the crooked pork and parochial projects brought on by a corrupt culture of lobbyists, special interests, and incumbency.

I always thought the "fall of America" would be slow…over many years. I never would have guessed that the corruption would be so rampant and fast and out in the open…done with pride! Can we make it another year so elections can take place or is it too late?
You are right in that corruption has been around for many years. However, it has never been out in the open, in-your-face, damn the people and done with so much pride as it is by the current congress and White House!
New Secession Movement – Or How To Pull Ben Nelson n Ben Nelson et al. Few days ago I posted half facetious comment abouta few states threatening to secede to gain attention. Git a lot of responses. I am now thinking it is not as crazy as it first sounded. If 4 or 5 states mounted a CREDIBLE campaign to secede based on establishing state/countries premised on our Founders principles, incorporating our Constitution , but adding a sound money ammendment, term limits, balanced budget etc. it woould get national attention. I think many in other states would voice enthusiasm about moving. If CREDIBLE, it would be the shock treatment the rest of the Nation needs as I do not think they really get it yet. It would draw into stark relief how far we have moved away from American principles, traditions and values. If CREDIBLRE it would threaten to collapse Federal government and then we demand repeal of all this crap ( aka "the Ben Nelson" not a full-nelson).
My only fear is it could get ou tof hand, succeed and relly collapse the system. Alas, I do not live in a state where thsi is remotely possible. It would have to be Texas, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, maybe Florida. have not looked at what is required to make a credible attempt. If possibel it could really get some attention and wake the rest of the country up. Then again, maybe it is crazy.

Excellent piece Mr. Mitchell. i could not argee with you more. Every time a politician is sworn into office he takes an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States of America. The vast majority of those politicians began deficating on it thr same say they are sworn in to office. Someone asked Prlosi if the insurance mandate was constituional, she went balistic and I quote. "Are you serious, are you serious"? She was incredulous, I am still schocked at the temerity of such a response. The last slim hope for this country if this grass roots conservative movement sweeping the country. I scares me the number of clearly intellegent people who believe all they need is to get the GOP back in office! That scares me much more than anything else. If they don't wake up and start supporting the Mark Rubios, Rans Pauls and Doug Hoffmans we might as well just call the Bilderbergs and tell them who don't have what it takse to stand up for our kids and fight this evil. I don't give a damn about the GOP, I do feel as Thomas Jefferson said When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
Every single state in the union has at least once since the mid 1800's requested a continental congress to reform our corrupt government but every time has been denied by the Senate in direct violation of the Constitution.
"When peaceful revolution becomes impossible, violent revolution becomes inevitible." – John F. Kennedy
OMG, is THAT the money I could be saving w/Geico?
I I am not the least bit surprised, in fact I knew it all along. The corruption runs very wide and deep.
I do not want to be cynical, but I see no way out of this mess, we are doomed as the USA that we knew and loved. There is allot of talk about the 2010 elections as the way out. Do you really think there will be a fair election for any seat that the dems think they might lose? What if there is a national security crisis and martial law, there may not even be elections. Scary thoughts for sure. Prepare for the worst but hope for the best. In the meantime keep fighting!
Merry Christmas and a very happy, prosperous and FREE New Year to all !!!!
university of mich. study also confirms link between white and rice
the problem is that most politicians no matter how noble still have jello for spines. so intimidation works.
Very true. But the magnitude of the corruption grows with the magnitude of government. Therefore, the party of Bigger Government is ipso facto worst.
pull your head out of your butt and see the truth or push it further in to muffle the whining noise escaping from your communist borscht hole.
well, geewhiz, it *is* the chicago way . . .
What's the difference between the coming revolution and the first revolution? The enemy is already here.
And still one more time, "Law Enforcement" enables this swill.
Attitudes like this are what is wrong with politics today.
You assume that criticism of leaders of one faction makes a person a member of a differing faction. This is patently false, and was the driving force behind the continued incumbency of so many scoundrels within the Republican party.
The fact is that Palin hired ex-staffers of Stevens to lobby Stevens for pork. That pork was directed to Wasilla. Then, as governor, she hired more lobbyists to bring home more pork from DC. She also presided over the Alaskan executive which made use of earmarked Federal funds, all without one word of protest. She had no problem supervising the nation's highest per capita rate of pork spending as Alaskan agencies under her direction spent it.
To her credit, she reduced waste in her government, however much of this was offloaded to taxpayers in other states.
(continued)
(continued)
Wake up and see these people for who they are. If a politician engages in earmark corruption, that politician needs to be held accountable for it, even if they are a media star and darling of their own faction. Palin needs to use her past behavior as a teachable moment for what is wrong with Washington. She needs to issue an apology to the taxpayers then move on.
Giving her a pass or holding her above criticism only prolongs the corruption of the political class.
If you want to see honest behavior with regard to earmarks, look to Coburn, DeMint, or Flake – none of them do earmarks. Period. They are staunch fiscal conservatives, and have done their part to de-fund the corruption, even when it is against their parochial interests.
For the record, I am a registered Libertarian and fundraiser for anti-communist, anti-Marxist, and anti-collectivist organizations. Your characterization is way off.

Since everybody seems to want to hit the negative button before demanding fiscal responsibility from our leaders, here is the Wasilla pork. I have done the research for you.
Keep in mind that Wasilla is home to less than 10,000 people. This is just the legislative (hard) earmarked pork I could find. This does not include soft earmarks or phonemarks.
2009 – $490k – Alaska Addictions Rehabilitation Services, Inc./Nugen's Ranch Wasilla, for facilities and equipment (HHS – HRSA Health Facilities and Services)
2009 – $450k – Mananuska-Susita Borough for an agricultural processing facility in Wasilla, Alaksa
2006 – $150k – Wasilla Police Department for technology upgrades
2005 – $1M – Mobile computers for Wasilla police cars
2004 – $1M – Lucille Street and Mack Drive improvements in Wasilla
2003 – $750k – Wasilla dispatch center
2002 – $1.5M – Wasilla sewer improvements
(continued)
(continued)
$1.9 million for the Wasilla Intermodal Transit Project, to realign rail and bus routes to increase use of public transit in the region.
$500,000 for Kids Are People Inc., an emergency shelter for youths transitioning out of juvenile detention facilities.
$15 million for a rail project to connect Wasilla with Girdwood, the home town of Sen. Ted Stevens (R).
$1.75 million to upgrade emergency communications between authorities at the Wasilla dispatch center.
$600,000 to upgrade bus stations.
$900,000 to upgrade water and sewer facilities.
The official McCain campaign statement on all of this: "As mayor of Wasilla, Gov. Palin was forced to work within the current system to obtain critical funding for a growing city"
They don't even deny it!
This sort of behavior is wrong. How are we supposed to stop the nation-destroying spending of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of their Cloward-Piven cronies if our own house is not in order and free of hypocrisy?
Gary K you make a very important point I wrote this piece in an earlier post.
The posse comitatus act created in 1878 states “it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States to execute the laws of this nation without the approval of the congress of the United States”. In 2007 Bush paved the way for the National Defence Authorization Act which severly dilutes and obfuscates the Act of 1878 with bipatrisan support congressional support to make it possible to have our troops turned on us by executive order without even notifing congress during a "national emergency"…
Anonymous has their head up their but for sure, the only capital project in Wasilla was the Menard arena which may or may not have had federal money, but you can't hang that on anyone but Ted Stevens, with or without supposed Palin lobbyists. Ted Stevens pimped the fed on behalf of Alaska, he brought us more money than any other US Senator did for their constituency, he kicked ass and took names, and he's not in office anymore, so I'm pretty sick of having his earmarks brought up.
Bottom freakin line, you stand Palin up to anyone elected to office in DC, anyone, and she is exactly what anonymous insists she is not, a total saint, end of story. She isn't any more perfect than any other person but she was an outstanding executive for Alaska and would make an outstanding executive for the United States, period. Simply compare to anyone in DC.
I agree, today the information flows immediately and in volume far beyond sufficient. It's in your face now, now we can smell the dirty bastards in DC all the way from Alaska, and it's a bad smell.
It's just retarded, the mayor of Wasilla has very little relative pull to that of a US Senator, your holding Ted Stevens pork against Palin, a newcomer to executive government at the time, it doesn't stick. You can keep it up with the copy-pasta all day long, but it isn't going to stick.
I can tell I'm going to have repeatedly remind people on BG taht Ted Stevens isn't in office any longer, and he can't give us your tax dollars anymore, connecting Palin to that is complete blame shifting. She was the mayor, what would we have done to her for refusing the federal money ffs?
Fight or flee?
Fight first. If Americans won't fight now for the USA then there is no shame in fleeing. Just ask those who stayed in Germany well past their welcome in the 30'S.
You jackass, there are far more people than 10K in wasilla, you don't know wtf your talking about. Wasilla is surrounded on all points by suburbs. We're valley residents, or as our utterly tolerant city-libs refer to us, valley trash.
You are showing how ignorant you are. When the Corporations control the Government it is called Fascism. The Republican appointed Judges on the John Roberts Court are getting ready to rule that corporations have no limit to how much they can spend on our elections. The liberal Judges will oppose this.
flee
I will have blood on my hands before that happens…and will enjoy it
Palin hired a lobbyist on behalf of Wasilla, and later the state, to go solicit pork from Stevens.
She also had no problem doling out the pork of Stevens and Young, and later, defending the Bridge to Nowhere against Coburn's amendment to divert the money to Katrina relief.
Politicians who refuse to stand up to waste, on the theory that everybody else gets it if they do, are responsible for the continued waste. This mantra of "If I don't loot others, then others will loot me" is the problem. She was a part of that system, just like the rest of it.
Our real fiscal conservative heroes should be people like Tom Coburn. He refuses to insert earmarks, and is on record for throwing appropriations lobbyists out of his office. Not looting the public treasury for his district, while the other districts do it, does hurt the people in Oklahoma – but it is the right thing to do.
DC is no longer the District of Columbia, it is now the District of Corruption.
48 Congressmen have taken the Club for Growth's anti-earmark pledge in 2009.
http://www.clubforgrowth.org/projects/?subSec=12
These representatives recognize that pork barrel spending is inherently wrong, and have chosen to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do, not because it is "popular" or "business as usual."
They did indeed cork up the Federal money, which is something that pork barrel corruptocrats Ted Stevens and Don Young failed to do, often at the prodding of Palin's paid lobbyists.
Palin not only failed to speak out against waste (how long would Stevens and company have gotten away with it if the governor was vocally criticizing it), but she actually hired lobbyists and went on the defense when fiscal conservatives tried to stop the Bridge to Nowhere.
City government and State government are also a portion of the government. They are responsible for local concerns, not the Feds. This is the cornerstone of Federalism.
Washington DC is broken, in large part, due to its status as the funding arm of every locally-oriented pet pork project across the nation.
Wldbil, you are correct. I think we have ben set up and it has been going on for years. These commies in Congress must know something that we do not. It does not really bother them that a million or more marched on Washington for the tea party, or that another million or more had local events. They brush us off like they dont really care that the public is getting very mad. Something is up….something is still really rotten in Denmark!
Cowboy…it is sad but true….God help us !
I listed all of the pork projects, and yet you continue to deny they exist.
Why is it not surprising that the two people denying the Wasilla pork – SURPRISE – both live in Wasilla.
This is how the pork barrel system works. The prevailing lack-of-wisdom is that other peoples' projects are pork, but yours are worthy.
Perhaps you can justify why one million Federal dollars should have been used to put laptops in the patrol cars of Wasilla's police force, which numbers 24 officers. ( per the city of Wasilla: http://www.cityofwasilla.com/index.aspx?page=49 )
Perhaps you can justify how improvements to Lucille Street and Mack Drive are of vital interest to the entire nation.
This is why the pork barrel corruption continues to go on, even in the health bill. Landrieu got hers, Nelson got his, and now everybody wants a piece.
Two wrongs do not make a right, even in DC.
Sadly, I think it is too late. Even if we have elections they will be a sham.

Hand in hand. We wouldn't want jeopardize our pensions now would we folks. Pension benefit for a 55 year old retired police sargent in my blue state: 130k! For life!
Already bought and paid for.
Of course it's corrupt. Anytime government is involved it becomes a cesspool of corruption.
The founders knew that the day we truly became the Entitlement Nation was the day this would become accepted practice, we have been workind up to this for almost a hundered years, looks like it's time for people to decide.
This seems more like the days leading up to the civil war than the american revolution. One side thinks owning people is just fine, the other thinks its a really bad idea.

How much did they get for this study?
I heard one this week that concluded that young people have bad judgment when drunk.
Fund your own studies.
Even if your premise was valid and I accepted it, which I don't, Palin was a mayor, there was no way she was going to step in and cork up the federal money, no way. Further more I question her power to even succeed at stopping it as the city executive. Bear in mind that the executive is only a portion of the government, it's basic civics, they have a legislative body just as a state and the nation itself do.
Ted went to DC put the $$$ in the bank for Alaskans, so did every other senator, in every other state, and their mayors all grinned and took it, it's a fkng rule, don't blame Palin, she didn't make the rules.
This is the worst government I have ever seen.
@thebarbarian – well said.
Then perhaps you should blame the official City of Wasilla website, from where I got my facts.
http://www.cityofwasilla.com/index.aspx?page=49
The city of Wasilla does indeed have less than 10,000 people.
Even if it had ten million, these local projects are why Wasilla has a government of its own. It should not be using Federal representatives as errand boys and the Federal treasury as its credit card.
With Billions of dollars now available as a slush fund for the POTUS to hand out at his will, government corruption will pick up tempo. There's no doubt about that. The POTUS has positioned himself and billions and billions of our dollars to pay for political favors, power, and control. The elected officials in D.C. are like kids in a candy store. Dad tells them if they're good and do what he wants, he'll give them all some candy. All the while, I think POTUS is waiting for violence to errupt so he can declare Marshall Law. He's pushing and pushing and pushing the system against the will of the people. Once Marshall Law is established, God help us all.
If we start looking at history and comparing today's administration to the past, what is most disturbing about the current administration is the amount of money being spent. Politics are politics, but when they spend more money in less than 12 months than all other administrations combined, that seems to be a glaring problem. And spending our way to properity is not feasible. Try it with your own budget. This administrations logic of "the more we spend the better off we'll be" is not logical. So something is really, really wrong. The whole country knows it because it defies all logic.
The Roman Empire is the 6th World Power in the scriptures. It still exists…look at the Roman Architecuturee of your Capitol Bldgs. Well, if you're going to either law school or medical school, it is of immense help to know the Latin language….Anyway, it was forecasted to have a beginning and to have an ending, the same as its predecessors. After this collapse there will be a World Govt, the 7th Major Empire for a short time, and then a take over of that, by the final and 8th Major World Govt system….The 7th & 8th Global Govts last for 7 years on the Hebrew Calendar (360 days per year, not 365 1/4 Gregorian days). So, we need to separate and disconnect from Roman Philsophies…and not join in with The "New" World Order Plans. ("New" is in quotes, because it was a very ancient idea, that God doesn't like, in the Tower of Babel story).
We're thinking of the Mississippi River Valey Area….In a Xmas tree shape, ok, an isocoles triange shape.
The top is a little bit in Canada. The bottom right in in FL, and the bottom left is in Texas. Take over all county Govts lst of all. This could happen naturally, as the East Coast and West Coast CA is Socialist-Marxist….We may transfer all Property & asssets to a Church Trust entity…and not subject to tax.
People with much assets, such as Rush Limbo have bailed out of NY and went to FL..Many wealthy people are bailing out of CA, and generally moved to the SW….America is susposed to behave like a Christian Republic, not a socialist Democracy, right.
Our system has already collapsed, has already been hi-jacked. They are just easing us into their black boiling and suffering pot of misery(s).
Right On Gary….Once I realized that they aren't acting on our requests…I thought maybe we should drop those activities and do something elsle. But, we need to keep our TEA Party peoples united and experience enthusiasm and unity, right….Therefore, the socialists see our Great Disssent, and as a result they will move their programs ahead faster than planned….Maybe we should all complain to our State Govts and tell them we want to secede from the Union……I don't know anymore….
The politicians are NOT interested in the people, they are only interested in pushing THEIR agendas, both sides are guilty of that. That and the fact that they do a LOT of their crap just to be thumbing their noses at the other side. They could care less about me or you.
I agree 100% Gary and have been shouting the exact same thing. Something is definitely "up". One of the main reasons is that NONE of these crooked politicians seems to be worried about their jobs being on the line. What that says to me is that they have a GUARANTEE somewhere that they are all still either going to be in office come 2010 OR that they have been promised jobs elsewhere. I have a feeling it's going to be the first one. AND it wont be by legal means either.
in other late breaking news, "Water Wet!" and "Gravity Suspected in Falling Death!"…
Do the words Weimar Republic mean anything? Watch for the coming hyper-inflation……
This is so reckless that at some point the Chinese ( who moved into 6 month maturities recently) will pull the plug. That is when the real doo-doo hits the fan and it may be a lot sooner than people think.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
No, but three rights make a left!
The tax-paying citizens of our country need to defund and disobey. The government cannot operate if the funding for its activities are not there. If we resist the demands put on us to pay our taxes, there aren't enough judges and courtrooms in America to handle all the cases. We need to jam up and clog the revenue going to Washington, D.C.
