The Official Forecasts Are Nonsense: Obamacare Would Be a Budget Buster
by Dan MitchellAccording to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT), the government-run healthcare plans in the House and Senate will reduce budget deficits. To use a technical phrase, this is utter nonsense. A giant new entitlement program will be a budget buster. This new video from the Center for Freedom and Prosperity provides 12 reasons in less than 6-1/2 minutes – including real-world evidence showing how Medicare and Medicaid cost far more than originally forecast.
Politicians routinely exaggerate and use rosy-scenario estimates, but the healthcare numbers are different. If projected deficits are lower, the “official” numbers from CBO and JCT grease the wheels for legislation, so dishonest estimates have big consequences. Moreover, the Democrats are very nervous about the charge of fiscal irresponsibility (especially since the so-called stimulus was such a failure), so these phony numbers are politically valuable – especially for the Blue Dog democrats who are looking for excuses to support Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

So who's ready to jump on board with the proposed Health Care plans and have their KIDS strapped with massive amounts of debt that will force their income taxes to be above 30%? All the while you are sitting at home wondering why this happened.
I believe most of the people reading this article ARE doing something about it. But lets make sure EVERYONE understands what is really going here… ObamaCare is a small move into a BIGGER government. Anyone disagree?

Oh My ! Ya ain't seen nuthin' yet…. Have you tapped into the developing Senate version yet ? What little there is suggests a tax on the companies equal to $750.00 annually per employee ! Now ain't that special. As if being waterboarded by the House version wasn't enough…..strap in, folks. Apparently the Senate didn't get the message from the electorate. Do they ever ? Dusting off and repolishing my armour…. Time to do battle again.

I just read a news release from the Obama Press organization, once again trotting out the tired argument that people have to buy car insurance and this is no different. Yeah except we are not forced to buy a car, nor are we forced to get a platinum package from someone the government chooses, nor are we required to buy it for our neighbors, nor are we quoted one price and billed another, nor are we being threatened with jail time if we failed to do any of the above, and it's a states issue not a federal one, but other than that I guess it's exactly the same.
So sticking to the theme Obama's real argument, if he was honest, would be more like…
"What I think is appropriate is that everyone needs to be forced to buy a new GM $50,000 SUV to help us cement our voting bloc and keep power. We will decide if you can afford it and you have no say in the matter. Furthermore it's not fair that only people of means get to drive that nice new shiny GM the they didn’t want, so they will have to pay a little extra so everyone else can have one too. It goes without saying that being forced to drive around in your new GM requires you be forced to have full coverage on that vehicle regardless if you leave it in the garage or not, and of course you must pay for your fellow Americans insurance if they can't afford it. You still have a choice in this country though, you can do what we say, or you can go to jail"

Our President may go down in history as the only President who made an art of the Jeremiad. The great tragedy is that the invective is directed exclusively at our republic. Now it has translated directly into legislation and disguised itself as H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. To find a more harmful bill passed by the House we might have to reach back to Reconstruction.

I have yet to see or read anything on any Democratic bill being proposed that makes sense. Sure, those bills will attract the uneducated mobs of entitlement seekers who vote for liberal retards but what of the rest of society?
As unemployment rises the tax base diminishes. Where are they going to get the money to implement this idiocy?

All in all I see nothing good coming from this legislation except grief, taxes and diminished availability of health care.
