I Condemn the NAACP: It Is Grossly Out of Touch
by Darryn “Dutch” Martin
I condemn the NAACP. The more the NAACP throws accusations of “racism” at patriotic groups such as the tea party movement, the more this formerly great civil rights organization shows its ever-increasing irrelevance.
This is an example of the NAACP showing how grossly out-of-touch it is with issues of importance to blacks today.
With the abnormally high 21 percent high school dropout rate, 70 percent out-of-wedlock birthrate, and epidemic of fatherlessness and a black American sub-culture that condones social ills, one must wonder why the NAACP would waste its time trying to take shots at the tea party movement.

"one must wonder why the NAACP would waste its time trying to take shots at the tea party movement."
It's all about the power and influence they can amass for themselves. They long ago gave up on their original mission. They will stop at nothing to increase their own position…even to the extent of ruining the black community's reputation in the process.
Progressives and their social experiments have destroyed the african american family structure. In their blind pursuit of SOCIAL JUSTICE they used the tax code and welfare system to make the african american father as part of a family not only useless but economically disadvantageous.
When looking for an answer to why these families have high drop-out rates and un-wed pregnancies, and fatherless homes look no farther than the welfare system.
The Great Society destroys working class families.
The Tea Party is espousing policies that will empower the black community, indeed all communities. Perseverance, patience, good personal choices, knowledge and hard work, I've found, are the keys to success in this country. What the Tea Party promotes is freedom from a big, enslaving government. The Tea Party wants success for EVERYBODY by fighting a tyranny that in reality holds everyone back.
What the NAACP fails to understand (and we in the Tea Parties do) is we are all known by the company we keep. As a collective group we have pushed a few folks out and had signage indicating "NOT a TEA PARTY MEMBER". We get and want NO TAXPAYER MONIES vs the NAACP who has always had their hands out for Government and Corporate shakedowns. Talk about having become obsolete! I bet if I checked in the dictionary under OBSOLETE there would be the NAACP!
As with many groups, people seeking control of others will go to great lengths to create an aura of individual and collective importance even to the point of hastening descent to irrelevance. Ego is not in short supply in the NAACP.

Pay no attention to the libertine socialist agenda behind the curtain!
How did Barry state it…"Individual salvation through collective salvation"?
Ceratinly sounds a lot like liberation theology to me. That dog won't hunt nowadays.
"It Is Grossly Out of Touch"
And quickly running out of support as well.
And if the ends justify the means, I can only wonder what the ends are…? It will certainly be the end of an era of real progress, that much is for sure!
RIP NAACP
That photo says it all. Can you just see the "Sign Union" guys justifying the signs placement, and the "Video Union" guys justifying the cameras placement. Kind of like watching a liberal try to run a "not for profit business."
I see the security camera installers union has been busy. Andy Stearn musta done that install himself.
Now, if it's OK for the NAACP to call a black conservatives, 'Oreo' can the black conservative call NAACP members 'chocolate covered cherries' ? Brown on the outside, commie red on the inside ?
They're setting the stage for the next manufactured crisis. Call it a self fulfilling prophecy, but somethig's up…
It never did, in my opinion. I take it you caught Glenn yesterday. It was an excellent show. I knew eventually he would come around to this. He's searching for the truth and that always leads you to God in the end. It is inescapable.
On a side note…I have to laugh…the atheists heads must be spinning at 60 rpm over that broadcast! I already know that the Black Liberation Theologists are going to explode. Lid off the can…worms everywhere! It's a "the Emperor has no clothes" moment in America. I can't wait to see where this goes.
Glad to see the continual frontal assault directed towards NAACP and the Black Panther movement by conservative bloggers posted on Biggovernment.com. I obviously see the pattern, but where is the MSM? Are they reporting both sides of this? Are they showing that now all blacks favor what the NAACP is doing by being the attack dog for the White House and democrat party?
They are in-touch with their core constituency, and they are in-touch with the White House.
The racist accusation began sometime last year before Jimmy Carter determined he could simultaneously read the hearts of tens of millions of Americans, and – acting like the true Christian he is – accuse them of violating the 5th Commandment (Thou Shalt do no murder, under which falls anger, hatred etc.) in their hearts.
Jimmy supplanted God as the infallible and impeccable searcher of hearts, in possible violation of both the 1st Commandment (I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me), and the 8th Commandment (false witness, as he spoke with a reckless disregard or was consciously lying).
Jimmy is such a good Christian 'cos he builds houses and says Jesus a lot and stuff like. Atheists, agnostics, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists build houses too and a lot of them talk about Jesus a lot.
The accusation of racism is over a year old now. It enjoyed something of a respite, but it seems to be back now stronger than ever.
The declaration that Al-Queasy is a racist organization (because it uses black Africans, and kills same – but it isn't racist when it kills Caucasians, South-East Asians &c.) at the same time MIchelle Obama speaks to the NAACP, and the NAACP speaks in accord with her and his wishes, is no coincidence.
Arizona is also a racist state. Rhode Island is not.
I get it.
The NAACP bashes a group of people, because a minute quantity among their numbers might (MIGHT. We're waiting from proof.) have said something rude.
When a member of a racial group (provided he is white, of course), speaks harshly of members of another racial group, because a few members of that group do bad things, that person is rightly called a racist.
The intention of the prototypical racist, and the NAACP, is no different in this regard. Both seek to denigrate people they do not like (due to bigotry and/or political agenda), by seizing upon some misdeed (real, or in this case, imagined), linking it to a subset of a group, and ascribing that misdeed to the group as a whole.
It's the pot calling the tea kettle black.
Wow, you just beat me to the punch. I would delete mine, but it's a two parter.
http://www.facebook.com/BlackTeaPatriots – 4,000 Members and growing by the second. Racists? I think not.
Yeah, I caught bits and pieces of Glenn yesterday. Wish I could have seen the whole hour!
Certainly some interesting 'tactics' these people implore, and I find it even more surprising how ignorant we all have been for so long, in not understanding how they have so successfully used the churches in their communities to 'preach' this crap. Appalling to say the least!
My eyes were definitely opened a little further last night in the 30 or so minutes I watched!
Even more pathetic a statement about the NAACP today is that they're generating media noise by attacking/maligning the Tea Party movement — which is cover for them to, indeed, attack U.S. citizens (their target, the nation, it's citizens, our country).
They're trying to gain increased media notice to, I assume, get some negative attention (which is deserved) off them (their voter intimidation, DoJ complicity in allowing their behavior to remain without penalty or condemnation), so they're "riding the coattails" or trying to of the very popular Tea Party movement which is comprised of all varieties of Americans.
You are right, Mr. Martin, to condemn the NAACP for their wretched behavior of late. If it was *ever* a worthwhile organization (I now wonder), it certainly is not any longer. Also, having read yesterday about the founders of the NAACP, I now realize that perhaps they never were entirely laudable in the framework of this nation and our Constitution.
The civil rights movement was in some degree noteworthy and praiseworthy, yes, but the NAACP as organization is being revealed as not so sparkly as they've been said to be (in that regard or others).
Another thing: "NAACP" or "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People" — isn't "Colored People" rather RACIST a term? It seems far more offensive to me than the word, "negro" is…and "Negro" is the actual name in science for the race of people who are today, instead, called "Black".
I don't know, but "Black" and "colored people" are rather offensive terms. And "African American" is nonsensical.
The only people keeping racism alive are those people keeping it alive. Many of them are Negro, Hispanic and Islam in one or some or all of that combination. I note that denigrating "Whites" is popular among Muslims and that in the U.S. at least, many Muslims are Negro, so there's some correlation there with their racism directed against Caucasians.
NOTE: I do NOT generalize that "all Blacks" or "all Hispanics" are racist or whatever else. I'm simply stating that there is a lot of racism among that race and that ethnicity against Whites/Caucasians, while, today, many Whites/Caucasians have long since grown up from the negative stereotypes about others (and themselves).
I also note that Islam is attractive to racists among Blacks and some Hispanics. In the U.S. and worldwide.
I apologize for denying you the satisfaction. Will you accept some free government cheese? Let's see there's form number 3651, then there is the rectal exam, where did I put those gloves? Opps and we are out of KY. No matter I'll use the cheese. Here we go! You are really going to love this cheese it is USDA approved!
Re your Glenn show allusion–do you know if that's something I can watch online, L4S? You have my curiosity aroused. What was the topic, specifically?
Well said, Looking4Sanity.
You, I and everyone that cares to look, Stan, knows the answers. Hiding from the truth or attacking like the dogs they are, the effect is the same. Aidding and abetting the cabal that they helped put into power in the first place is their job #1.
It's the November 2010 election and the November 2012 election that are 'up' — the Left is agitating it's most irrational base for the same purposes that gets emotional foment all over the internet and in certain locales.
Riots get media coverage, in other words.
L4S may take a moment so… I will be watching shortly. http://www.watchglennbeck.com/
Enjoy
TWO good lines. Treats for Peeple!
Thanks, P2O. I caught your link almost before you sent it.
You beat me, too. It is a great photo.
I think it's the same set up they do for polling centers in Philly….
The NAACP should be ashamed of what they've become. Dutch hits the nail on the head, instead of focussing on the real tangible problems plaguing the black community, the NAACP chooses to carry water for the left.
Kevin, the subject was black liberation theology and here is the link to watch all of Becks programs.
http://www.watchglennbeck.com/
I honestly don't know, Kevin. I haven't been to Glenn's web site since he shut us down on the 912 project boards. You can always look on Glenn's web site or perhaps the Fox News web site for video of the episode.
The topic was individual salvation vs. collective salvation…specifically in terms of Black Liberation Theology and its psychological effects on Obama. The discussion spun out into the ways this Marxist philosophy has infiltrated the churches historically and in the present day. Scary stuff really.
Yeah, I think I'll pass on the gubmint freebies. Unions are a big enough target for the both of us anyway.
Just got it from P2O, thanks.
Riots are not the end game here, just a means to a much darker end….
Thanks, boris.
I have it bookmarked. I don't get home in time to watch and it makes for a great lunch break.
It seems like a global conspiracy to hold America back so we don't make the rest of the world look bad by comparison. The whole world saw what we, as Americans, were capable of during WWII. I think it scared them all sh!tless. They should be thankful that we are the good guys!
These useful idiots are just expendable pawns in a much darker game….
"Individual salvation through collective salvation"
It sounds very, very much like "The common good before the private good"-
or Gemeinnutz geht vor Eigennutz in the original German.
I'll leave it to the reader to guess whose slogan that was.
And that is obvious to the most casual observer! So, who are they trying to fool? Their own constituents? Are they still that guilible?
One of BHO's policies that I wish with all my heart would have succeeded is that we would have become a post racial society. That's a pipe dream now. It will take a REAL leader to take us to that place.
Great post, RWJ.
If Obama is the answer…How stupid was the question?
You are very welcome.
I thank those in Black America for standing up for truth. You are the people I honor most as an American. Having struggled and clawed your way through a way of life that should of been equal from the start. Too see these blogs makes my heart sing.
most irrational base — now there's a scary thought. the entire left seems incredibly irrational to me, so I am wondering what "most irrational" means.
Thanks for speaking out Mr. Martin. The sad thing is that the NAACP could still be extremely relevant but it appears that they've sold their souls to the highest bidder and a failed ideology. Their failure to call out the administration and Senator Dick Durbin on the cancellation of the D.C Opportunity Scholarship Program speaks volumes as does their refusal to condemn the New Black Panthers; I see little difference between the NBP and the idiots in the dunce caps selling white sheets on the family plan. The NAACP's support of Cap and Trade is puzzling and troubling as it will hurt the least among us the most by raising the cost of energy and most everything else we eat, wear, drive, fly, and manufacture. As Deneen Borelli has said, "Cap-and-Trade is a Ball-and-Chain for Poor Americans". The truth of the matter is that the needs and desires of the black community- strong families, good schools, good jobs, to be safe in your own home, and the liberty to achieve these ends are things all Americans share. That the NAACP supports positions and policies that hinder the achievement of the American dream will render the NAACP irrelevant.
I am DISGUSTED about being called a RACIST by NAACP & M. Obama! I've been fighting RACISM my whole life in GA & I'm a CRACKER & part of the TEA Party!
Read Rules for Radicals and you will see why they did this!
Also, read "The Overton window", it will keep you up at night!
Over the last couple of days here at Big Gov I've witnessed the true leadership of the black community and it isn't Al, Jesse, or the NAACP- it is you and others that have posted here ……………. please keep speaking the truth. Positive change doesn't come from a teleprompter reading occupant of 1600 Pennsylvannia Ave.- it comes from people like yourselves that walk the talk.
Dutch,
Thanks for your powerful message and God Bless You!
Medicare/Medicaid costs 341 billion less for: elderly, poor & disabled. HR 676 expands these 45 year old entitlements: any age & any income applicant. No mandates as under Obombacare. Pulling yourself up by the bootstraqps only works for survivalists, mountaineers and people with land enough to raise their own food & build theire own shelter. Get a clue Tea Baggers, times changed since 1876 as we became a majority of urban workers instead of rural developers.
It takes a village: care for children, educate, local food, sustainable NON-POLLUTING INDUSTRIES & make peace with global neighbors. America provokes terrorists, not hunting them down. It's an evil scam of the Bush Crime Family for a continuous profitable war for oil, instead of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, photo voltaic powered trains & infrastructure systems which also utilize wind electric generators, wave electric along our shores, none of which poisons our oceans, pollutes our air/rivers or soils. Ya'll should hate welfare for the rich, not for the poor, union jobs for all, not voting for Rethuglicans who play you like patsies. http://www.morganreevesforgovernor.com 843-926-1750
I think that "negro" might be only one of the races of people that has black skin. I am not sure and am a little wary to do a search on that word. But when I was in 6th grade I did a report on an African country (I think it was the Congo at the time but not sure) and as the listed ethnic groups or racial groups only one of them was "negro" and there were a few others. Not sure how accurate my information or memory is but maybe someone that knows more can add to my comments.
Froth at the mouth much? Idiot.
"The problem is the military industrial complex"
The song of every douchebag hippie Commie since 1960. The problem is dumb asses like yourself who have dropped so much acid that their brains have turned into porridge. We'll see you at the polls in November, dumb ass.
sweet. Thanks, buddy!
You guys are great!
Yeah, understood. The going-recognition of the Left by most the rest of us is that they ARE an "irrational base" as to those who vote Leftwing no.matter.what…
So I agree. But the Left uses certain *emotionally volatile* if not predictably agitating issues on an emotional level to appeal to people driven not by reason but by various psychological fears and vengeance and such: name sexual acts, name skin colors, name nations of origin, name "culture/heritage" issues and similar and you get a certain element in society ready to riot, so to speak. That's my point.
The Left uses these "riot issues" simply to agitate an element that can be relied upon to be irrational, and to then upset others around them, to simply "run amok" in society and in voting.
We saw many of those types in the last Presidential election. Especially on the internet. No amount of facts and reality posted otherwise could and did shake them from their trances and from their various lies…I tried, many conservatives tried and yet that predictably irrational element on the Left persisted in begging, pleading, lying to the public about "needs" for Obama in the White House while denying the reality about who he is and what his politics are.
The phenomenon, that is, of skin color ran over common sense and disdained wisdom in the minds of some and they, apparently, are the "irrational base" who will be again rallied on similar calls for similar irrational support for politics that very often actually deliver their own doom. They seem careless about even that…
"kill the cracker babies" kind of guys…that's what it means. It is a little scary, but we know how to handle that too.
"Riots" of the mental, emotional kind, riots in the street, in the mind, riots: destructive, wanton surge by irrational, wantonly destructive persons who've lost ability to reason.
That typifies many on the Left…it certainly typified the last Presidential election that landed Obama in the White House. And they're desperate to maintain their "clinging" to the property.
Your pathetic and clueless…hate, by any word, is still hate. NAACP = HATE!
Tyrants of all stripes always sing the same tune. Only the faces change…the message never does.
Yours is a decidedly urban perspective. And urban realities are isolated and oftentimes Socialist ones, simply because they're concentrated areas of persons who are dependent on others more often than not (higher concentrations of dependent persons on the overall nation for survival than in non-urban environs).
There are only four racial varieties or kinds among homosapiens. Those racial kinds are: Caucasian, Negro, Asian and Aborigine.
Everything else is an ethnicity. Ethnicities are local differentations among races. When several racial kinds mix, they produce a combination of races but ethnicities are defined by locales and social ("cultural") considerations.
RACE is a term as to human or homosapian DNA. It's not about "culture" or location or what someone's color is or is not, it's about what racial type their DNA is.
It's either one of these as to race:
Caucasian, Negro, Asian or Aborigine.
Polynesian, for example, is an ethnicity within the Asian race. Saharan is an ethnicity within the Negro race. Nigerian is an ethnicity, Egyptian, an ethnicity, etc.
Example: an individual of the Negro race is from Nigeria, they are "Nigerian" in ethnicity but they are Negro as to race.
Another example: a person is born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands and says they are Polynesian. What they actually are is Asian by race (almost always if they claim Polynesian ancestry) but are Polynesian ethnicity. Likely they are a mix of Asian and Aborigine race with some Caucasian tossed in from the whaling years…but their ethnicity is Polynesian (Polynesian isn't a race, it's an ethnicity).
I do not see a single comment here (or anywhere) that can be considered remotely racist in any way whatsoever. Tea Party people are 99.99 percent without any prejudice. You are not allowed to express any racism at Tea Party events. If anyone does, everyone will distance themselves from you and they will take your picture as evidence, suspecting that you are an infiltrator, trying to make the Tea Party look bad.
Better can that teabagger crap, you pathetic creature, and you can take your talking points and shove them up your holebama.
and we're willing to pry it from their cold dead hands….
What a sad misinformed little troll. The only racists are leftist weasels like yourself that aid and abet racial conflict and division like the moron in the White House. As far as your other infantile comments, would those be those big bad banks that are in Odumbo's back pocket? How about your corrupt unions that demand more and more while millions go without? How about a Democratic Congress that has been in control of both the House and the Senate for four years that are totally responsible for our financial crisis by failing to rein in Fannie and Freddie, raising taxes and destroying families and small businesses. How about a complete moron whi is too busy partying, playing golf to care about the oil spill? Hmmm…I wonder how many lives are affected by this tool. Take your liberal BS back to the Daily Kos you fool. The writings on the wall for you liberal idiots come November!
Earlier Egyptians had a high degree of people from the Mediteranean among them (from Greece, from nearto areas to Greece). The travels of humans to and from Northern Africa has been to/from the Middle East, back, to the Mediteranean, back to Northern Africa, and over centuries, the "color" of the people generally today in Northern Africa is a mix of Asian, Caucasian and Negro as to race.
It's a myth today that the earlier Egyptian dynasties were "Black" because they were most certainly not so. Not expressly, in other words. Same with some of the later dynasties, for that matter.
Northern Africa continent has experienced many radical environmental changes over the centuries and human migrations have been driven to, from, back to, from again, back, out of, to and from the Northern part of Africa and the Middle East and lower Asia and the Caucuses (Europe).
Here for you! Hey, GHUA gave it to me. Props to her.
Project 21 is the REAL future of America!
Student of Professor Ayres eh? Hold on to your hat homer, all of your fantasies are about to go whoosh right along with the rest of your sycophant lunacies.
A steady diet of dung sandwiches must make you thirsty and provide you with the necessary energy to spew nine lines of tripe. Have another gulp of koolaid and take another bite. BTW your tinfoil hat is starting to rust.
MSM, does this every single day, they make a living off of keeping these flames alive.
Wow, judging from all the typos I'm going to guess that you typed that disjointed rant all by yourself… Hmm, maybe you did it with a handy cheat sheet of "necessary" talking points nearby.
Wow, it's like a Progressive Edition of the Mad Libs game.
Thanks for answering. It must have been used as a ethnicity even though it isn't really or as a tribe name. My encyclopedias could also have been out of date or my memory is just really off. (or all of my listed excuses could be true). I can still remember getting grief over using the term "negro" though even though it was clearly listed in the encyclopedia I got at the library of the public school in a diverse area of the country. Some of the kids in the class didn't like it.
Yes, yes, you're an attention-starved fool resorting to throwing in as many talking points as you can in the hopes of overwhelming any potential response.
Good little parrot.
In fairness, I think blacks destroyed our own family structure. The tax code and welfare system is the same for everybody, but we have much higher rates of social dysfuction.
Guys who aren't taking care of their kids aren't responsible men who would step up if only the system wasn't disincentivizing them from doing so, they are irresponsible males who just don't care about their kids.
Of course, women bear part of the blame too (Hint: Unprotected sex with a guy one just met is not a good idea).
You have stated "Tea Baggers have no clue exactly what the Boston Tea Party was protesting in 1770's". Since you have a much better understanding of this point in history than I do please take a few moments to pass along your knowledge on this event.
I was taught that the Boston Tea Party was about the taxation on Tea. I was also taught that the Revolutionary war was about Taxation without Representation. As you can I seem to have limited knowledge, please take a few minutes to help improve my knowledge.
ha!
LOL Gosh this thread sounds as good as the Waltons.
Thanks P2O thanks,L4S thanks Kevin Stowell, LOL You guys are a riot. : )
By the way P2O if I remember correctly…..and I do…..you gave me that link a long time ago, and I've been passing it around ever since. : )
My guess is he/she copied and pasted it from one of the wing ding sites that sorros has. Stupidity such as that beyond 2 sentences is a hard days work for trolls to read much less type. ; )
Hmmmm, now I wonder… Ah, you have given me so many I figured you must have. I say, spread the wealth, er uh, the wealth of knowledge. LOL
what about the people with the bush=hitler signs? were they racist, too?
Just trying to make sure I understand all of the "rules"
Oh, and stop drooling on your keyboard.
LMAO! I'm sorry, whenever these trolls use "tea baggers" or "tea bagging", I keep picturing them in the voice of Beavis and Butthead.
Huh huh, you said Tea Bagger….huh huh….
The level of immaturity there is well, freaking hilarious.
Your rant sure makes me want to see Morgan Reeves elected governor. – NOT
The NAACP used to work to eliminate institutionalized racism in the United States. Since the United States institutionalized reverse racism the NAACP has tried to retain its power and financial support by claiming that the old institutional racism still exists. They are trying to remain relevant but show that they have not changed their views on the nature of racism that confronts us today. They have become an arm of the Democratic Party, not an instrument to change the social fabric of our Nation.
Check out his platform he is running on. It is eye opening how he tries to sound like he is conservative.
R4G,
Not only is what you typed utter nonsense, but it is poorly written and horribly constructed utter nonsense. Did you drop out before completing even your primary education? I am actually left wondering if you will be able to read this all by your self…
Careful with that "darker game" reference! You might be labeled a racist …again… or maybe just a really bad racist.. you know, compared to other racists like me. Of course, I can't be as bad as you because I warned you… I feel much better…
/s
Thanks for the warning. My comments have been niggardly. I should elaborate more…..
I believe that the closer we get to the midterm elections the more of this type of rhetoric we will see in order to persuade voters back to the Liberal side.
Consider yourself warned GF – tag, your it.
Honors student at Head Start.
edit…
Thanks for the warning Randy, that's mighty White of you my friend…
Hee, hee, hee… You are wicked…
Now you're profiling !
lol
Always liked this one… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAlmEUFRaEA
You guys akbar!
It's bread and circuses. The old mis-direction. They want people to look at the tea parties so they won't look at how weak the NAACP and democrats are.
Something tells me that some elements of the left actually miss the water fountain for whites and the one for "coloreds", so they can have something to bitch about.
Those insufferable bastards are the the genuine racists, through and through.
THANK YOU, Mr. Martin, for standing up for TRUTH! God Bless You!!!
