Was Buffy Wicks Also Behind Missouri’s Obama Truth Squad?

Coincidence? Buffy Wicks ran Obama’s Missouri campaign and two of St. Louis high-profile prosecuting attorneys, both Democrats, threatened to target anyone who dared to spread misinformation about the then-candidate, known as “Obama’s Truth Squad.”
If the NEA conference call is any indication, the answer is no.
Wicks, who works in the Obama White House as the Deputy Director of the Office of Public Engagement, helped orchestrate, and took part in, the infamous NEA call which asked the artistic community to sell their souls for a partisan political agenda.
You know, in the name of art.
One year ago on September 23rd, KMOV Channel 4 in St. Louis reported that St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCullough and St. Louis Circuit attorney Jennifer Joyce joined a high-profile group of law enforcement officials (including Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer) threatening to invoke “Missouri ethics laws” against anyone the prosecutors determined had spread misleading information about Obama.
Said McCullough:
“If they’re not going to tell the truth, somebody’s got to step up and say, ‘That’s not the truth. This is the truth.’”
The KMOV report stated:
“They will be reminding voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone who makes less than $250,000 a year. They also say they plan to respond immediately to any ads and statements that violate Missouri’s ethics laws.”
Is it too much to assume that perhaps Wicks convened with McCullough and Joyce to ask for their assistance in stamping out dissent?
KMOV reported:
“The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.”
The campaign is asking. The only assumption with which we’re left is that Wicks, as the head of the Missouri campaign, was directly involved with the attempt to misuse St. Louis prosecutors against the people they serve – especially considering the precedence established by the NEA call. Wicks’s modus operandi is enlisting others to do Obama’s dirty work, disrespecting the skills and responsibilities of professionals and artists by co-opting their talents in the name of partisan politics.
These tricks bring to mind one of my favorite monologues from Julia Sugarbaker (Dixie Carter):
“Growing up in the rural part of Georgia, I’ve been around compost all my life. I’ve seen it tilled and hoed and spread across fields far and wide, but until today, I’ve never seen it tied up and gift-wrapped in such a neat and tidy and pretty a package. Congratulations! You’re a very clever girl–but it’s still compost.”

This whole thing about the "truth" and making sure the "truth" gets out. They have to meet in a meeting beforehand to decide what the "truth" is going to be.
I don't know that this President is capable of telling the truth, honestly. He is certainly willing to fabricate.
The Missouri Truth Squads were the Advance Guard of President Barry Soetero's Storm Troopers. Just wait for the remaining three years and three months to play out. People wont recognize this country.

Interesting "truth" from the campaign:

When in FACT, Obama is going to raise taxes on those making as little as Forty Thousand Dollars a year, that is people four times the poverty level. Nobody is reporting that FACT.

What is wrong with us that most of us took at face value all the crap spoon fed us by the media during the campaign?
Amaizing how this was not covered by the national media. Here in Texas, at that time I got my news from the Houston Chronicle and ABC news. Never saw investigative reports on this. If Bush/Cheney had tried this in Texas, we would have (rightly) strung them up.

I remember this truth squad of Bob McCullough and Jennifer Joyce it is what got me to really take notice of the minions that supported this President. I sent them emails thanking them for waking up a sleeping Giant. I ain't sleeping no more thanks to them!
With all due respect to Ms. Joyce, it is not her decision what campaigns should be focused upon. If a voter chooses to focus upon a candidate's character, rather than the identified "issues", then the voter has that right. Some would argue that the person's character is a better predictor of future performance than stated positions on issues. But regardless, it is MY vote, and I will decide which criteria are the relevant ones for me to consider when casting it.
As to Mr. McCulloch, since it is now clear that Obama's promise to cut taxes was "misleading" and not the "truth", will he file charges against the campaign? Time is running short for a misdemeanor.
Wow, I had no idea about this “Truth Squad”, and I’m a Missourian that listens to Allman in the Morning when possible, where Dana is a frequent co-host. I guess my short commute has its disadvantages. Keep up the good reporting (and commentary), Dana. There are only a handful of real reporters in this country, and most of them don’t even have the title. Sad!
Basic tactical principle: address the peripheral characters and work toward the center. As their out-layers are peeled off, the central figure gradually goes weak and vulnerable. The heart is accessible not directly, but through the skin.

You never caught this one brad? KMOX /KMOV went off on it for quite some time, (a couple of the other stations ignored it completely)… but I was surprised how hard they went after these "Truth commissions" considering how badly they tended to be in the pocket of the big-democrat unions and such.

I can definitely understand why Dana Loesch would not like a person who sued those who spread misinformation. As Loesh's frequent posts reveal, saying things that are actually accurate takes way too much time for her to deal with.
Here's the sad dynamic: We will recover. Those of us who love our freedom and accept personal responsibility will persevere – and the Whackjob Progressives will then try to take credit for it.

I remember hearing this on the television in STL and since I had already read about Obama’s background was not totally shocked at the treat. Acorn came through the Jackson County, Missouri jail before the election, asked if prisoners had been found guilty of a felony, then preceded to register and take the vote of non felon prisoners. Do you think any of the votes were for the Republicans or Independents? I don’t think so. Makes you feel uneasy doesn’t it. I wonder if Robin Carnahan allowed this to happen as secretary of state, after all you don’t have to show an ID in Missouri

Poor Buffy, she strikes me as more of a young Useful Idiot. She's not high enough on the food chain to have developed the egregiously misguided enlistment of the St. Louis prosecutors scheme. Every one of those willing prosecutors violated their bar admission oath as upholders of the Constitution. We don't prosecute people for political purposes in this country.
But, then, we've had public employees violating privacy laws and snooping through Joe the Plumber's divorce files and the White House putting up a snitch-on-your-neighbor site.
If people are paying attention to the Obama crowd they ought to be repulsed and very scared. Sadly, most of the press in this country long ago abdicated their responsibility to factual non-partisan investigative reporting. We educate our children badly. They leave high schools and colleges without critical thinking skills. Far too many Americans had their heads in the sand until the depth of this recession splashed cold water on their faces. Here's guessing a lot more people are paying attention now that the Dems are going to hit them in their wallets.

Divisive character attacks? Such as mentioning that he has a team of lawyers actively fighting to prevent the release of his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records? And let's not forget the long form birth certificate which to this date has only been verbally confirmed to exist twice by the same Hawaiian official.
It's my opinion that Barry Soetoro has been deliberately stonewalling probes into his past. It is also my opinion that he was not properly or thoroughly vetted by the DNC or any other government entity. Furthermore the GOP is also complicit in that they did not push for any investigation into the matter of Barrack Hussein Obama's constitutional qualifications to run for, much less become, POTUS.
It's lawyers like those in the so called "Truth Squad" that have have been running interference for Obama with the help of the "mainstream" media. You also bet your next paycheck that Obama also has a cadre of cronies monitoring and "fighting back" against those who have and dare to share their negative opinion of Obama. More importantly to water down any truly unhelpful facts that may surface as a result. Just ask yourself they would be seeking emergency internet control powers for the president? The answer becomes pretty clear and it doesn't involve national security.
Actually I don't believe anyone was actually sued. This is a scare tactic that his supporters have been using since Obama first announced his candidacy. It's doubtful they ever actually meant to sue anyone. It's more likely they meant to silence descent. It's no different than those who shout "Racist!" every time someone disagrees with Obama.
Besides. If you have proof that Dana Loesch's statements are false don't you think your argument would be better served by providing EVIDENCE to the contrary? As it is you have only shown your hypocrisy by doing just what you have accused Dana Loesch of, which us making unsubstantiated claims.

This is actually a LIE all by itself!
Even during the campaign Obama stated that it was for a FAMILY making 250k. Individuals were to be taxed at a much lower REDEFINED rate that varied from 150k to 200k depending on which person in Obama’s campaign was asked.
This CLOWN prosecutor is making up LIES and SPREADING PROPAGANDA while BRANDISHING the AUTHORITY of his office to PROSECUTE people that simply point out the truth. Of course, this prosecutor should have been removed from office the very day he said this.

Hell, look up how the LA Times REFUSED to release the tape they admitted they had of Obama speaking at a farewell dinner for Rashid Khalidi (ex-PLO).

I have a new addendum for Missouri's ethics laws – if a candidate lies about their positions and plans during a campaign then they are no longer eligible to appear on Missouri's ballot.
Well, that is why I'm now reading blogs, since the media does not cover this stuff.

I saw this really great post today….
Basically my 3 month old son’s birthmother lied. Our son’s birthfather is not some random stranger who she does not know and could not find. His birthfather is her ex-boyfriend. They lived together briefly during her pregnancy. Around 5 months into her pregnancy something lead her to tell him she had an abortion, dump him and move out. Apparently she started to feel guilty about all this last week and she told him everything. He called our agency Monday and demanded his baby…. A social worker contacted the birthmother and she confirmed that she did lie and this young man is the birthfather.
