Serve.gov Scrubs ACORN Listings from Its Site
by Dana LoeschSince first reporting that Serve.gov was listing activist positions with ACORN it seems now that all ACORN listings have been scrubbed from the taxpayer-funded site without any explanation as to why they were on it in the first place. The government was using our taxpayer dollars to advertise for volunteer opportunities to promote the president’s partisan agenda via a corrupt organization under investigation for voter registration fraud, among other things.
Initially you could type “ACORN” into the search field on Serve.gov and various listings from planting trees to volunteering to get out the vote in Ohio, for ACORN, would appear in the results. It’s important to note that several ACORN positions were listed directly on the federally-funded Serve.gov – not just on the AllforGood.org website.
The act of removing these listings indicates that Serve.gov knew it was a) wrong to use a federal website to funnel volunteers to campaign for the president and DNC and, 2) bad for them to be seen further associating with ACORN in light of the recently released videos combined with ongoing investigations.
This doesn’t necessarily mean, however, that the administration is finished with trying to recruit Americans for do-gooder volunteer opportunities that are subterfuge for unpaid political promotion; they’ve just realized that perhaps advertising it on a site for which we all pay perhaps isn’t the slickest way to go about it.
We’ve heard the audio from the now-infamous NEA call that asks for sympathetic artists to allow their skills to be co-opted by the administration so that they may push their agenda in a subtler manner. On the call we heard people like Buffy Wicks and Nell Abernathy mention Serve.gov and United We Serve together when discussing the topic of volunteer recruitment.
The White House has not offered an apology nor explanation as to why taxpayers were paying for a federal website to push an agenda that half the country opposes.
This, coupled with the NEA scandal, shows that this administration hasn’t abandoned its goal of using subterfuge to raise synthetic support for its agenda and will use any means possible.

Don't underestimate the American people. The people we hear everyday are not the American people. The hard working people who just want a home, a nice community for their children and good schools are the vast majority. There just not the loudest until they get pissed and from what I'm hearing from most is there pissed. I try to do my part and spread the word everyday of the corruption we have in this Country. I thought these govt web sites were required to maintain all info (archived) and certainly would be subject to FOI requests. Wasn't that what they said when they were collecting email addresses for the "flag" website? I'm certain any requests for info would be forthcoming (HA!).

Sure they scrubbed ACORN from the Serve .gov site,. but there are still referrals to ant-American sites, midsouthpeaceproject.org for example they go to high schools on the day military recruiters are there and harass them, shout them down and chant anti-America slogans while they are at it…
There are tons more… do a search on serve.gov.. EVERY organization they refer you to is either neutral (thankfully) or left wing.. Phone bank operators for LEFTIST political campaigns anti- recrutier voluteers, etc.. this isn't volunteering to help your community, its volunteering to advance a politcal agenda.
I have no problem with people advancing their political agenda, but a government website isn't the place to steer them volunteers…

In every tape the ACORN workers struggled to understand exactly what these people wanted and what they were trying to do.
None of the ACORN workers actually did anything for them…but listen and attempt to understand and educate them.

If the film-makers were truthful honest journalists, they would have just said "We want to traffic some underage minor female children into the USA and set up a pedophile prostitution brothel in a house which we want ACORN to help us buy."
What they did is distort deceive and confuse and make unclear what they wanted to do (and what they were doing), and the ACORN workers struggled to understand them. Every tape, every transcript makes that absolutely clear.

In one tape the tax worker suggests that they don't give any information they are not asked for.
That's what my accountant does on my tax return.
And she repeatedly….repeatedly.. urged them to go to the education classes….which they repeatedly ignored.
At the bottom of all of this…not one ACORN worker did anything illegal.

Why should I have to pay for someone who spent their life making nothing but bad decisions all their life? They are the ones who chose to be poor, not me. I should not have to pay for them simply because they screwed up in life. Dont take out of my pocket and give to them just because we are supposed to “feel sorry for them”

By all means, I agree on all counts, though I'd waver on marriage. Gay marriage should be decided legislatively by each state individually, but that said the population of each stat should vote to legalize gay marriage. That said, the method of going through the courts that liberals prefer is an affront to democracy.
Frankly, as advocates and defenders of liberty Republicans should be leading the charge to legalize gay marriage (legislatively, not through the courts!).
He talked briefly about this maybe 2+ hours into his show. If you had to make a pit stop you would have missed it. That is basically all he said about it, he does not know what it pertains to.

There is more to find. Check out where all these public policies are being developed. Does the name COW "think tank" (run by another Weatherman) mean anything to anybody. They developed the the Appollo program and rolled it out. Also have another "think tank" that develops public policies for states and local gov. Thats how they rolled this out so fast. Already had everything in place. If little ole' me found this why haven't the big news people? Um…makes you wonder.
Believe it or not — there are two ACORN High Schools in New York. I guess they want to educate our young people "into corruption" and "how to take advantage of taxpayers money".
