You don't have to live under it Dan, but you have to understand the history and the difference to a freely elected leader and society. Despite your ivy league education, you clearly don't. Government, for better or worse, exists for a reason and comparing a democracy that does things in a manner you don't like to an abusive regime makes no sense and is just inflammatory. We are not "enslaved" – we (not you, but still) voted for the current president and while difficult times call for difficult measures we aren't on a collision course with Marxism. Mike

I didn't realize I had to live under communism to criticize it and to point out the collectivist policies of our President. Are you not aware that Obama surrounds himself with Marxists and socialists? Are you not aware of his distain for the private sector? I take it from your comments that you have lived under a soviet satellite state. If so, then why aren't you outraged with government bailouts and takeovers?

If you want to criticize Obama and the freedoms United States affords its citizens please do so in a meaner respectful of the education bestowed upon you and not with a thoughtless fundamentalist hyperbole!!! Have you lived under the soviet satellite state communist regime??? You my dear friend have not a clue what you are comparing. Go to Russia Poland Hungary and talk to some people who lived under that system before you evoke such hyperbole that makes you sound a lot less intelligent than I am sure you are. All the best.
