I Condemn the NAACP: The New Black Panther Party Are the Real Racists

I condemn the NAACP. Instead of criticizing tea parties, the NAACP would be better served denouncing the racist comments made by a member of the New Black Panther Party and its voter intimidation outside a Philadelphia polling place in the last presidential election. As a frequent speaker at tea party rallies around the country, I can assure the NAACP that the tea party movement’s concerns are about President Obama’s policies and not his race.
I’m deeply concerned that the NAACP is being used as a political tool to do the dirty work of the progressive movement. I urge blacks concerned about the tea parties to read the Contract from America — a list of policy objectives for Congress that was developed by tea party members nationwide. These objectives are clearly about limited government and liberty. In fact, the NAACP should be very concerned Obama’s cap-and-trade energy policy will lead to higher energy prices and higher unemployment – particularly among poor and minority households.

Deneen you are one of my hero's! I have pointed you out to my daughter and she also thinks you rock. It makes me so proud to be associated with you via our Tea Party Families. Thank you for having the fortitude to stand with us against the hate filled speeches and racism that some would fling around in order to keep too many downtrodden. A vote is a terrible thing to sell so cheaply.
Thanks for the post and your concerns Deneen. Groups like the NAACP and Black Panthers have to get past their racism, because America has! Fomenting daily hatred over, and over simply doesn't do our country any good whatsoever.

OK, I get it. There have been to this point 16 NAACP/Black Panther blog posts with 10 of them coming from black authors in the past 2 days. This is very interesting and tells us something. Number one is that not all black people agree with the vocal left leadership, and that is refreshing to see. It also tells us that the MSM is paying no attention to Biggovernment by pointing out this fact. Let it be known that I certainly appreciate seeing this voice of reason from those who have provided their insight and perspective as it relates to true racism on display in the actions of both the "new" black panthers and the NAACP. Thank you. Maybe we are not completely lost.

It gives the tea partiers that much MORE exposure to what they stand for. This will get their stance out and into the ears of people of all races and colors. We don't discriminate, we retaliate.
Why can't the NAACP judge people based on the content of their character, not the color of their skin? Wasn't that the objective?
I agree. Most Americans are united…in support of other Americans and of American values. Divisiveness is a tactic reserved for those who respect neither.
Remember the funeral of the widow Coretta Scott King and the way the same crowd treated President Bush. The NAACP is a leftist political organization and has been for a while. McCain wasted his time and breath speaking to it in 2008. That is yet another reason McCain isn't intelligent enough to be Senator much less President. The NAACP, AARP, AMA, ACORN, ACLU, NRA … There seems to be a theme there; they are beneficiaries of government handouts; they've been bought and paid for; so their behavior shouldn't surprise anyone.
We are all Americans no matter what our race and we need to stand together , Divided we fall , NAACP made themselves a joke by going after Hallmark for the graduation card that spoke about BLACK HOLES in space , and made them pull the card ?
I have yet to see proof of the extream racism the NAACP are condeming from the Tea Party – so…

I believe, like you, that many well founded social movements of the 60's, were infiltrated by socialist operatives for the long term puprose of destroying democratic institutions. This includes civil rights, womens movement, and environmentalism.
I even believe that MLK was assassinated by the radicals in the 60's so they could get him out of the way. MLK was a conservative and Republican. He believed in the Constitution, Democracy and Capitalism.
I believe when the history is finally written of this period we will know who the real betrayers of America are and it will all be clear…
The NAACP is being used by the obama administration to divide a country that people like the Tea Party members, which have black and white members, would like to see united and stand together for Freedom &Justice FOR ALL equally!

Racism is one thing but the man in the spotlight has taken it a step further speaking of his desire and pleasure taken in killing whitey and/or their children. You really would expect the NAACP to distance themselves from such statements but instead they have taken to attacking a group of people merely for disagreeing with President Obama.

I would love to see those two racist jerks thrown in with a few cage fighters and then view their not so smug faces after they get the beating they so richly deserve. After that, offer them a better way to socialize with the voters as an alternative to intimidation.
How easy it is to fabricate the Tea Party as "racist". All it takes is a few libs posing with posters with racist images and words on them…Voila! See world, the Tea Party is RACIST! (A few months ago they promised to try to infiltrate the movement). Funny how the MSM continues to carry their message despite the fact not a single speaker who speaks for the movement has uttered a word to suggest racism. I taught my children to never distinguish by skin color only by character and with the NAACP acting as it is, it's tough to understand why I made such an effort. I know why, because not all Black people subscribe to the NAACP and NBP the same as not all White people subscribe to the KKK.

When the time comes, the Progressive movement will use the black community as their shock troops. The goal will be two fold. The destruction of the black community from the ensuing race war along with the destruction of the white, Latino, Asian or any other community which takes the bait. They will use the immigration issue to polarize the Latino community, and they will use the Tea Party Groups to polarize the Black communities. These will be their shock troops; much the same way the Arab and Persian Nations use the Palestinians as their disposable army against Israel. In the end they kill two birds with one stone.
When the dust clears, they will be there to "fix" everything…The Progressive way.

We remain a divided country, separate and unequal. But this time, not by race but by those (1) who only ask to take, and (2) those who are asked to give. May they always be unequal with no more than 10% of the former and 90% of the later.
Thank You Ms.Borelli for having the courage and the desire for the truth to be told. I have been to many Tea Party's and have seen every ethnic group ,gender,age and political party represented. What do they all have in common? We want to leave this country unencumbered and free to all of our children and those that would come here to live the dream . Liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness must remain the hallmark of the USA.

I am a member of the Tea Party. I was also a youth leader and I am white. I don't care what color you are. I used to go miles out of my way to pick up poor black/white children and take them to youth service and spend my own money on them so they could go out and eat with the other young people. I did it for no glory I did it because I loved them just as much as anyone else.
We've had grown black men that didn't have anywhere to go stay at my house for days until we could help them find something elsewhere. I am disgusted by the NAACP. I am appalled at this President that will not condemn the NAACP.
There's more division now from this "post-racial" President than ever. I'm sick of his divisive actions and agenda!

I never claimed they were standing out there just for the hell of it. They were taking a page out of the right-wings very own playbook. They new very well that some of those old WHITE Republican voters would be too afraid to walk past a Black Man and would leave without voting.
They in no way stop those racist old White Republican voters from voting, it was the racists choice out of fear not to vote.
Now when the GOP thugs show up in Black Neighborhoods well we have history to show they do have reason to have suspicious fears.

I was always taught by my parents to never hate, and to treat all human beings equally, regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, etc. As a result, my friends have always been what my parents called "The U.N.": Jewish, Canadian/Puerto Rican, Chinese, Korean, black, Indian, white (Italian, Polish, Irish, Heinz 57, etc.). Even my daughters' friends are not all white: black/white mix, Indian, Mexican-American, Asian and white. Not only that, but kids with parents of a differing political party (yup, some of my neighbor friends vote – egad! – Democrat!).
Whenever I hear those words by MLK, Jr., see what he went through to bring civil rights to blacks in this country, it makes me cry. It makes me cry because he did so much and after he died, they spit on his grave and turned to violence and victimhood. They gave into the Left, let the Left use them, and now they are reaping what they have sown – a community frought with all kinds of problems, including unwed mothers, gangs and drugs. Not all, of course, but I live in the L.A. area so I am not blind.
When I hear that disgusting man from the NBPP speak, it sickens me. Absolutely sickens me, as much as watching someone from the Klan speak, or even listening to Muslims speak about the West and other non-Muslims. It's nothing but HATE and it disgusts me to my very core.
We must stand together against this hate, as MLK, Jr. did – peacefully, in unity. And then we will prevail. Love will conquer all.
