Thanks. I have a similar story to that which you describe. Back in 1989, I applied for a police officer position for the city of Los Angeles. I was forewarned by a close friend who was already a police officer there that because I was considered a "male Caucasian" that I would not be able to compete with the "minorities". A male Caucasian needed a 98% to continue in the process while a foreigner only needed a 70% to pass. This was dubbed "reverse discrimination" back in the day. The foreigners were given special assistance to help pass the battery of tests while the "male whites" were completely on their own.

So yeah, you're right… It's going on everywhere and has been for quite some time.

I have had a good feeling about this for some time now. Something great is going to happen. It will be Historical. It's an awakening for people. Glenn just said that how people was the day after 9/11 will be nothing compared to this.

To be accurate GW Bush took more vacation days than Obama over the same period. I don't think either should be vacationing so much but Obama is not the vacation president. I think it was either Bush or Eisenhower who had over 350 vacation days.

Now most of Bush's vacation days were spent at camp David or his ranch and so he still could have been doing work, just not in the white house. Obama on the other hand goes places and not to locations in which a president could be doing work. Also Bush was not in a recession at the time. We are now.
