This "mandatory heath care" is unconstitutional there fore illegal. I really don't care who osama has standing behind him. That icon that is pasted on vending machines. It has a little stick figure on the floor, a little rectangle tipping onto the guy, and little stress lightning bolts coming out of stick man's head, all encompassed buy a circle/slash (don’t do this) symbol
It occurred to me that if the rectangle just had the words "Obama" in it that it would be the perfect icon for his administration. Nice bumper sticker too.
Wait, just wait…..Medicare if your AGI (adjusted gross income) is less then $85,000 is $110.50 if it above that it has increases…and addition 44.20, $110.50, 175.80, 243.10 added onto the $110.50. THese add ons have gone up 300+% since 2007……and remember most people still have to buy a supplemental insurance to cover what MEdicare doesn't cover and also purchase a prescription plan……and don't forget if you are late signing up for MEdicare you have to pay a 10% penalty for each year you are late for the REST OF YOUR LIFE…….All those in Washington haven't retired yet and have no clue as to the cost of MEDICARE….wait, just wait until OBAMACARE passes…our retirees won't have a leg to stand on…..literally…they will come for that also…….

By law ….if those who are on Social Security did not receive a cost of living CANNOT receive an increase in Medicare premium….then why are those who were paying 96.40 + the adjusted amount get hiked up to 110.50 a month plus a hike in the adjusted amount……WHY WHY WHY….hello is anyone listening……..anyone CARE???? I think the problem is this:
We have many people going into hospitals for service with no insurance and cannot be turned away. THe hospitals have to amke up the cost of this and pass it onto the people who have insurance. The insurance companies pay the hospitals these outragous payments and then make it up in the premiums to us. SO we are actually paying for all the people who don’t have insurance and don’t want it. Why should they if we are paying for them in the long run……ONE stop illegals from coming into our country and sucking us dry…..

Listen, I'm single, I work full time, make 24K a year, and don't have health insurance. My employer doesn't offer it. I buy my own dental and vision insurance, and between that, rent, utilities, my phone bill, my car payment, my car insurance, groceries, gas, tithing, giving a little in charity and putting a tiny bit away in savings, I just can't afford an extra $100 a month for health insurance. And I am 150% against this bill. I believe in working hard and making my own way, and not expecting the government to do everything for me. If I can't afford something, I do without until I can afford it.
Don't even try to reasons with these neanderthals. These people are so full of hate, contempt, ignorance and totally lack compassion. Their limited vocabulary includes infantile and juvenile name calling like troll along with BIG words like communism, Marxism and other similar nonsense. The Amerrican people have managed to hold this bill and the rogue Dems in Congress and the rogue President, who have been ignoring their wishes, for almost a year now. They have done so by pressuring congress and making thier voices heard. Word is they are going to have a vote on this just before Easter. If the same people vote for the bill as last time the vote will be 215-217 (it was 215-220 but two Dems quit congress and Murtha died). Rep Cao, who voted for the original bill, now says he is going to vote agianst it, that makes it 216-216. Pelosi probably has people willing to end their careers as elected officials in her pocket that voted no last time that are willing to vote yes in exchange for an appointment to head some agency or something. But this is going to be harder and harder to do the closer we get to the 1st Tuesday in November. The clock is on our side right now. I say keep the pressure on those who voted no to stay a no vote, and those in swing states who voted yes, I'm sure some want to take their vote back, call them and tell them to vote no as well.
This can be stopped in the house.

It gives the IRS access to everyone's bank account and applies fines and/or jail time for those who don't get or can't afford insurance, puts the government between the patient and doctor, chooses the plan for everyone, decides who gets treatment and who doesn't, severely rations healthcare to seniors and the infirm, raises the premiums for those who already pay premiums to pay for those who can't pay and for union members' Cadillac health plans by forcing doctors, nurse and hospitals into unions to swell the member rolls and prop up the dying unions like a Ponzi scheme, causes long lines, inhibits research, discourages doctors from entering the profession and will bankrupt the country.

The thugs in DC are really generous with OUR money as they help themselves and their big money donors. That's what this is all about. It's not about heathcare. It's about selling health insurance and rebuilding the unions to keep the money flowing between them and the Dems. The government will dictate terms and the insurance companies will act as utilities. There will be no individual attention to the patient. Patient care will be determined by age of patient, their medical history, cost of treatment and the patient's remaining usefulness to society.
Forgot to add: Obamao is in a rush because the election cycle has started. He's got to pay back the unions to get their monetary support in November. Plus, amnesty for illegals is next on the agenda, with the promise of free or cheap healthcare to secure their votes for the Dems.

You might want to read the Constitution before you talk about it rckmom:
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
If Napolitano thinks "general welfare" doesn't include health care, let him file a frivolous law suit when it passes Congress.
How the Democrats are dealing with healthcare, sounds eerily like a classic "date rape" story. A small majority of Americans agree to a date with the Democratic Party (President and majority Congress & heretofore referred to as "he"), because they thought "he" was kind of cute. On that date, "he" buys America an expensive diner and invites her in for drinks. "He" starts to put the moves on America and she starts to feel uncomfortable. She tries to get up to leave, but "he" uses some smooth talking to get her back onto the couch. America sits back down. "He" slyly slips a "mickey" into America's kool-aid and waits for it to take effect. Unfortunately for "he", the drug-laced kool-aid has no affect on her, so he becomes more overtly aggressive. America, again, says "NO" in a more assertive way. "He" says, "C'mon, it feels right… it'll be good for you. America tries to get up and leave again, but "he" says "We want it and we want it now" and "It doesn't matter to me what you think".

Promoting the general welfare might be building a hospital, but it's not fining me if I refuse to buy insurance in case I need that hospital. If I want to pay cash as I need medical treatment, that is my right.

Healthcare in America shouldn’t nearly bankrupt somebody when a possible terminal case comes along, and insurance companies shouldn’t be able to drop/screw anyone for just any reason they can think of and stop someone from getting it later. (I wouldn’t wish my experience on any other American…) (I got lucky this time… for the moment). This reform or something in its similar form would help me in the future and many others.

I am not saying that some reform is not needed. It is needed. But some people do not realize that SOMEONE is paying a bill. How it gets done is another matter. How much the bill comes to is another matter. Its the responsibility factor that I have issues with. If you get something done for YOU, the bill is yours. I am not saying that nothing needs to be done. But….this bill is NOT it.

And if you do, tell the doctors to throw you in the dumpster, because I don't want to pay for your health care. But I will be forced to, because you will get care, you will go bankrupt and the cost of your care will go to every American who pays taxes.
In our current private, non-competitive system of health insurance, $100 a month will get you nothing. Its closer to $1000 a month for coverage. The reform on the table will increase competition and hopefully reduce costs.
Put down the crack pipe. Not having health insurance is just plain stupid. One serious illness and a person without it is either in servitude for the rest of his/her life to pay for care, or they go bankrupt and the rest of us pay for it.
The health care bill is nothing remotely similar to waiting for crumbs off the master's table. It doesn't even have a public option! Get informed and stop promoting stupidity.

We have the best quality care in the world, we don't need to improve quality. We do need to lower costs and break the stranglehold grip insurance companies have on our healthcare money. Competition can lower costs, this bill will open up more competition and allow people to pool together to demand lower rates. We also need to break our system of insurance based on employment, this bill will start that process.
And you should take your medication and try to relax more. The majority in this country do want reform, and do want the majority of the policies in the reform bill.
I'm tired of paying the health care bill of people who don't have insurance, so yeah, if some idiot refuses to get it, they should pay a stupidity fee.
