Climate Change: The Religion of Copenhagen
by Caroline MayDuring the recent COP-15 Conference in Copenhagen, the United Nations claimed it wanted to maintain religious neutrality. It was a lie. Global Warming is the established religion at these international events.

This was made especially clear when, days before the event’s commencement, the Denmark Foreign Ministry rejected a donated delivery of Christmas fir trees. “We have to remember that this is a U.N. conference and, as the [Bella] center then becomes U.N. territory, there can be no Christmas trees in the decor, because the U.N. wishes to maintain neutrality,” explained Ministry official Svend Olling.
Religious objectivity, however, is impossible at a conference explicitly engaged in blind adherence to an unproven premise- a faith in the veracity of global warming. For though the science is not settled, participants convened to devise strategies for what they believe will be the world’s environmental salvation, the capping of carbon dioxide emissions.
Global Warming devotees’ religious fervor commands action, even if their deliverance comes at the expense of economic devastation. American disciples such as Al Gore and President Barack Obama are more than willing to sacrifice economic stability at the alter of Global Warming.
The faith dictates absolute advocacy for draconian carbon dioxide regulations such as the cap and trade scheme detailed in the House-passed “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.” To Warming enthusiasts the $9.4 trillion reduction in aggregate GDP, the loss of another 2.5 million jobs, and increase in inflation-adjusted electricity prices by 90 percent, gasoline prices by 58 percent, and residential natural gas prices by 55 percent, all estimated to occur within the first 24 years under such a cap and trade scheme, are merely an afterthought.
Though economists have highlighted the dire financial implications of energy restriction ad nauseam and questions remain about the actual science, the Global Warming theory adherents are steadfast in their beliefs. Ironically, it seems that most of these Warmers -many of whom are often quick to proclaim religious believers as backward- stick to their faith with the unbending will of St. Paul.
Even in the wake of Climategate and new peer-reviewed studies -which give lie to consensus driven apocalyptic climate forecasts- by such renowned scientists as Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Dr. Stephen E. Schwartz, MIT’s Dr. Richard Lindzen, and University of Auckland’s Dr. Chris de Freitas, Warming adherents remain loyally convinced that man and his evil energy usage is destroying Mother Earth.
Faith is belief without verifiable evidence. This unquestioned adherence to the theory of Global Warming bears all the markings of what traditionally would be recognized as a religion. Complete with sin (the emitting of carbon dioxide), scriptures (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment reports), commandments (drive a Prius, use Compact Florescent Light bulbs, do not eat meat etc.), indulgences (carbon offsets), proselytism, prophets (Al Gore), priests (scientists), prophecy and apocalypse (floods, hurricanes, dead polar bears), infidels (Warming skeptics), and salvation (the halting of carbon emitting industrial progress) the religion of Global Warming fits the mold.
Great Britain has already recognized belief in anthropogenic Global Warming as a religion. In November, in a landmark case brought before the UK Employment Appeal Tribunal, the court found that under the “2003 Religion and Belief Regulations” “belief in man-made climate change, and the alleged resulting moral imperatives” qualified for the same employment discrimination protections as a traditional religion.
Though we have yet to see Al Gore or James Hansen walk on water, COP-15 was far from religiously-neutral. Instead, participants were expected to adhere to their one true faith: Global Warming. There was no room at this conference for religious or even ideological competition.
Consequently, it makes sense that Christmas tress were not welcome at the church of Global Warming. After all, when was the last time you saw a menorah in a Cathedral?

As I recall, Jim Jones made some "sacrifices" at his alter. A Zealot is nothing but a zealot; whether it be Jim Jones, Al Gore, or Barrack Obama. The only thing different is the flavor of the Kool-Aid and the sermon.

Maybe I am being simple minded but I do believe in climate change, A couple of months ago it was warmer, for the next couple of months it will be cooler, or colder depending on where you live, but after that it will start to warm again. in Louisiana we call it the seasons. Man had nothing to do with it GOD set it up that way, it is the epitome of fraud and or arrogance to suggest otherwise.
I have been trying to cobble an analogy together that would would show how insignificant the human effect on global temperatures are. If every human in the world where to go outside and build a bonfire and keep it burning for a week, would it make any difference in world temperatures? Almost certainly not.
Environmentalism is the opium of Nietzsche's Last Man.
PART 1 – Fraud American Cap and Trade to Mix with Fraud Copenhagen Treaty!
Last week Jesse Ventura set his investigative sights on global warming. In just 60 minutes, he proved once and for all that we’ve all been duped by a small cabal of profiteers obsessed with creating a New World Order. The whole scam, according to Ventura, former Governor of Minnesota and his team of investigators who interview a smorgasbord of expert witnesses, can be pinned on just two men — Sir Maurice Strong , a former UN bigwig, and Edmond de Rothschild , the late billionaire banker. They, the programme alleges, dreamt up the whole thing and duped the world into believing that carbon emissions are driving up global temperatures just so they could profit from carbon trading.
Could it be that this Nigerian Terrorist passenger on a Delta Airlines flight from Nigeria to Detroit is a Psyop to distract the publics eye from what Obama will try to do to pass his crude opressive Cap and Trade Carbon Bill through the Senate, to fit in with the Copenhagen Treaty Carbon Emmissions that he advocated with the UN and the International Monetary Fund?
PART 2 – Fraud American Cap and Trade to Mix with Fraud Copenhagen Treaty!
Is it possible that the Obama regime believe this will aid in their attempt to get the American people to stand down from causing resistance and opposition to this Fraud Scientific measurments Bills' in both the American Cap and Trade and the Copenhagen treaty Bill?
Re:Michael A. Levi, a senior energy and environment fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations is an Elitist organization as we all know just as corrupt as the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission!
Fellow Americans call and visit your Government Reps and express adamantly that you do not want Obama and Nancy Pelosi's Cap and Trade Bill rammed or voted through to legislation!
Take a look at this video clip with a little humor that states the case of where things stand with the CRU East Anglia Email Leaks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8O-E_GN0Kg&fe...
Check out what Government is doing behind your back at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VebOTc-7shU
Look at the MSM coverage. Even the passing coverage they gave to the East Anglia CRU emails, they ended with some version of, "but the evidence supporting man made global warming is overwhelming."
Even in the complete absence of actual, reliable proof, they simply rely on their 'faith'. Their faith in Al Gore and his type that tell them, "global warming is real, and is caused by man."
the main thing they have in common is poison
Good grief, Carolyn, are you an atheist? That's okay. But you denounce the religion of atheism in terms relevant to other belief systems.
It was China that needs to support its burgeoning populations, that has a largely coal based economy without scrubbers needed to curtail emissions, that is exhausting its aquifers and ability to produce food, that is therefore "colonizing" Africa using different modes to reap Africa's agricultural produce and collect its mineral wealth, and the China that had 70,000 riots in the past year, quite an undercurrent of unrest, that scuttled the Copenhagen endeavor. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/dec/22... At least that's a perspective set forth in the Guardian, that China is the culprit.
Of course, the U.S. population might just be third party beneficiaries of China's work so send your accolade to their leadership. Now we won't be able to divert another $100 billion from our coffers to the support of "the world's poor." Wait! Isn't the wealth transfer plan a component of "black liberation theology" that Obama learned at the foot of his mentor, the loving Christian Rev. Jeremiah Wright, for some 20 years. Pres. Obama must be in lamentation and tearing his sackcloth and ashes garb. Wait. I forgot that Pres. Obama is the ultimate narcissist and will instead buoy up our spirits in times of dismay by exemplifying the good life through living it himself. No one is as deserving as a narcissist whatever occurs elsewhere.
Good thoughts on China.
Barrack Obama promised to destroy the US Domestic coal industry. Do you know who the largest purchaser of coal from the Appalachian Coalfields is? You guessed it, China. Followed by India. So Obama goes on a crusade to kill a domestic industry and put hardworking people on unemployment and relief, and China comes in and fills the void. So much for Obama creating, or "saving" jobs. The only job Barry is interested in, is his own.
Ask Al if he will still save the world if no money can on his part. I know the answer. The only warming Al is getting is a jail cell.
Ventura may be on the right side this time, but I wouldn't listen to anyone who believes 911 was an inside job.
Next round in push for Carbon reductions will be next year in Mexico City. For you internet journalists wishing to cover climate fraud this means cheap flights from most U.S. cities, reasonable hotel rates, and better weather than Copenhagen. Mexico City is also drop zone for political radicalism in Mexico so there should be plenty of street protests to cover. While Mexico City is not for the faint hearted, it is endlessly interesting.
We should sacrifice gore and obama at the alter of good old american capitalism. Both need to be gone from the planet thereby alleviating two of the main causes of the allegedged global warming. How is the moon this time of year. Would make nice men in the moon. A decent rainbow effect.
Sheep have to be dipped before shearing. What's that smell?
Could it be that Obama is disappointed that the airline bombing was foiled since it would have diverted news coverage away from his health care debacle? I'm just saying….
I watched a very interesting program last night on History Channel. It was about decoding Dan Brown's Angels and Demons with many PHD and religious types contributing to the commentary.
Speaking of religion, the Catholic Church was the most powerful entity on earth in the early centuries. People like Galileo and others who questioned the Church later on with scientific facts were forced to go underground because the Church hunted them down and killed many. (Yes, I'm a Catholic but I have known forever the Church was brutal and I'm ashamed)
(cont)
Many scientists formed the legendary secret society called the "Illuminati" ( meaning illuminated). For hundreds of years they stayed underground with hundreds of members. They also joined the Free Masons. Their main objective to was to get control of the Catholic Church because of the Church's control of people's beliefs and
it's objections to scientific discoveries. As time passed, the Illuminati evolved into a very "progressive" group with a powerful agenda.
The story is long but to make my point, the NWO and the Copenhagen is forcing a belief on this world that there is global warming because they need to get control of our lives just like the Church of the past. The battle still rages. The true sceintific community is so infiltrated by corruption, no one knows what is fact anymore . So, if yesterday's program is any indication, the Illuminati ( albeit under auspices of different organizations) still lives and is representated by many members of the the UN.
cont
The war for "control" has been going on for hundreds and hundreds of years. Question is does this country have the capabilities of sustaining this onslaught we are facing today even though the corruption is absolute in this government and most of the world governments? We are like little ants in the sand being washed away by waves of politically greedy tyrants. Money talks and money is power. Global warming is needed to grab more money for the "agenda". Obama is the perfect puppet of the tyrants and he will give them anything to satisfy his narcistic need for adulation. What a fool!!
Or maybe he was hoping it would divert news about his spending $8.5 million on a Christmas get away!!!
even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, question is is jessie the blind squrril or the nut?

I live in Australia and recently the Prime Minister was trying to push through legislation for an ETS (Cap and Trade) to reduce carbon emissions. The leader of the opposition agreed with the Prime Minister. The people of Australia roared with a loud voice and the opposition leader was booted out and a replacement was voted in by his party, who would vote against an ETS. The Liberal party (opposition) had never seen such a response from the public. The ETS ligislation was voted down just before the Prime Minister and his party of 113 went to Cop15. Politicians need to wake up and realise that not everyone is behind the unproved theory that human-based carbon emissions are the culprit for climate change and that an Emissions Trading Scheme is the way to fix it.
To: JohnK144 – Could very well be, or even Obama wanting to make sure they are able to keep reinforcing the high terrorist security checks at airlines , or even possibly to further expand his war on terrorism – maybe he wants to pull even more troops and contractors into Afghanistan and Iraq as well as Pakistan!
There is no Illuminati, it didn't last for hundreds of years, It ended hundreds of years ago, with the end of Weishaupt, in Bavaria.
The Illuminatti didn't "join the Masons" ( please don't start up an attack on Free Masonry ); Weishaupt had be a fringe member of a German ( Bavarian ) Masonic Lodge, never even made it very far up the degree ladder, and what little he took away from the Masons, he corrupted.
Getting you "facts" from THE HISTORY CHANNEL, is akin to getting them from the ramblings of Rev. Wright.
paul revere you are aware, keep spreading the WORD, there is not time to waste. I post similar stuff, I think it scares the shit out of these people, somebodies got to tell them though. The constitution and the bill of rights are all we have left.
steveig please pardon my ignorance about your country, love your beer, besides this CO2 shite do you see signs of a globalist movement in your country? As a concerned citizen I am cuious to know if this virus is spreading…
copperpeony I see you are aware also, maybe there is hope after all….i
In Al Gore's case, it IS caused by man. Algore is a great big GASBAG.
I wonder if Algore has approached the Pope yet, checkbook in hand, seeking sainthood.
I'd like to know where this wealth transfer is going. Some of it might be going into the pockets of certain Chicago political thugs and sundry supporters of the current (p)Resident of the WH.
As for good ol' Rev Wright, who said race baiting doesn't pay? Surely not Jesse or Al. Rev. Wright lives in a mansion in a gated community in Chicago. I guess "goddamning" America paid off for him.

Are you agreeing, disagreeing, or just wasting bandwidth?
You and copperpeony need to remove your full body tinfoil suits, as wll as your tinfoil hats.
the information is incorrect. You have no idea about Galileo. Go do some proper research.
your information is totally wrong. You have no idea about the illuminati, let alone the ancient scientists, who were mostly monks and who did not go "underground"…. most of what you wrote is total gibberish written by someone who is historically ignorant.
and our "dear" KRUDD came home empty handed
More important though is that like Obot Kevvie has been strutting around the world thinking that everyone is going to be bowled over by his diplomatic skills, when most of them ignore him……
it is not necessary to put more troops into Iraq. Once Al Qaeda is contained elsewhere they will be contained in Iraq. The Iraq government is close to the stage of being in total control of their own country once more.
Yes, Green Cross has a presence in Australia. This is the same Green Cross headed my Mikhail Gorbachev. He couldn't fix his own country (Russia) and now he has his sights on trying to fix the globe. Our Prime Minister doesn't really represent our community. He takes any opportunity he can to play on the world stage. Trouble is, he is just a little fish with a very big ego, in a very big pond. He says all the (UN) catch crys of doomsday, deniers, settled science, we are doing this for our chiidren – they must have all been given a script and sent to a UN course on how to speak to the public about AGW. I challenge everything I read in the press about AGW by going to the source, and all I can say is there is a fair bit of manipulation going on. For example the press (based on the environmentalists) say that the Great Barrier Reef is all but dead, but the scientists who actually monitor the GBR have put a report out saying that the GBR has never been better!
To me, this is "Weapons of Mass Destruction" all over again. The trouble is that the Global Financial Crisis has put many developed countries in a great amount of debt and the last thing we need is an ETS as a form of Foriegn Aid, sending money overseas when we don't have any to send. We will all just go deeper into debt and this is the legacy that our grandchildren will be left with, not climate change.
I think that was Al Gore in a red hoodie tackling the Pope in church a few days ago. Obviously, the Pope denied his sainthood. The press said the attacker was mentally unstable. If the profile fits, wear it.
ozzieaussie, is the globalist thing really that bad in Australia? hope not, I love your beer, please keep it comming dear, oh and pay no mind to the little troll, he suffers fron some strange mental napoleon complex. But I digress if it's not to much trouble a breif update on the globalist campagn in the land of southern rock ACDC, sorry I digress again. woulf be deeply appreciated, links, etc.
thx dear
I knew you'd attack me on this. We all have a right to our opinions. Two links below from the Catholic Encyclopedia. Yesterday's History Channel program included many PHD professor's, historians and clergy of different denominations. Also the library has a huge selection of books on this subject, including the Vatican Archives.
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07661b.htm
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/14071b.htm
What's the name of this high school? Let's all play pretend.
You have the right to your own opinion, even if it's an error filled, baseless one' however, you aren't allowed to pretend that they're "facts" !
The Catholic church attempted to put the blame for the French Revolution at the feet of Jews and Masons; that doesn't mean that that was factual.
Many who hold doctorates have perpetrated the "GLOBAL WARMING" hoax, so just because one has many degrees, that doesn't mean that the drivel and lies, they are palming off, are facts.
The fact is, the Illuminatti was always kind of a joke, it died out many hundreds of years ago, they didn't go underground, they aren't Masons, Free Masonry has less than nothing to do with the whole thing ( except that Weishaupt and some other crazies, who were once minor members of a Masonic Lodge then went off to make up their own stuff, like Alistar Crowley, for example ), and almost nobody gets to see most of what is in the Vatican Library.
There are many volumes, in the Vatican Library, which claim to have proof the Joan of Arc was a witch, that the earth is the center, about which all planets and the sun revolve about, and that the earth is flat. There are also all kinds of alchemy books, books which supposedly hold all kinds of "secret" magic spells, and documents which "prove" that a bunch of mentally ill, their own vomit eating, hysteric French nuns are saints, when in fact, all they truly were, were insane.
You always fall for the worst of the worst tinfoil hat /conspiracy theory garbage and I just can't figure out why that is. But you shouldn't post it here. It only makes this site look as though it's accepted and gives ammunition to the lefties.
huh?
Okay, just looked at your patently ridiculous links.
Your abject lack of knowledge about history and/or Free Masonry, has allowed yopu to buy this bilge that the Catholic Church has been putting out for centuries.
There was a massive push, some parts of Europe ( especially in Austria, where Empress Maria Theresa [ Marie Antionette's mother ], who was a fanatical Roman Catholic, who tried to force non-Catholics to convert and went so far as to heavily tax Jews and worse ! ) to get rid of Free Masonry, because it espoused tolerance to all mankind, if they were good people.
What I bet you don't know, is that Catholics were indeed Masons and it was only at a somewhat later dates that the Pope finally gave in and denounced it for made-up reasons.
I'm not going to waste any more bandwidth on this, but to say that you don't know what you're posting about, but appear to be more than willing to keep posting trash and then getting upset when someone refutes the drivel you post.
Trying to ramp up your post count, or is it that you have nothing to add to the discussion, but are incapable of restraining yourself from looking like a cretin; both?
ALTAR not ALTER
Amen. In fact if they need any help…
Maybe we could set apart Senator Franken's state, build a big fence around it to keep the carbon emitters out, and send all the greenies there so they can have big giant year-round tent revival. They should feel especially good about themselves along about January…
heheheh
Then you should know that in 1992, Pope Paul discovered that while the church was not progressive in its 1633 ruling against Galileo, it was not overly harsh and it wasn’t really about science and Copernicus – it was about politics (sound familiar?). Granted, there were still lower church officials upset by Galileo trying to pit the church against science, but Pope Urban only asked that Copernicanism by treated as a hypothesis until it could be better proven, and set Galileo up in some pretty nice digs outside Florence if he would stop being such an obnoxious and arrogant bore.
The real enemies of scientific thinking were the academics who used (and tricked) the church to persecute Galileo and Kepler. It wasn’t church dogma being upset by Copernicanism, but Aristotelian professors who couldn’t abide someone making their knowledge of Ptolemy irrelevant. Copernicus himself didn’t delay publication of his theories because of the church, but because he feared mockery by the academics.
While Al Bore thinks he’s breaking new scientific ground with his new religion of AGW, he’s just repeating academic censorship. He’s not Kepler, he’s just an angry 15th Century professor mixed with Luther.
All of the Green Mountain Boys, you know, the ones who pulled off the Tea Party, in Boston, several 100 years ago, they were all Masons.
George Washington was a Mason, as were many of the Founding Fathers and America's presidents.
Oh, but I suppose you and copperpeony just might now believe that all of these men were also a part of the Illuminati, so I won't name any more names. ; ^)
1redcent are you kidding me? hehehe go nuts then
You kick your own; nobody needs to intervene.
When debating (arguing) with someone else please don't drag my name into it. I don't do it to you when I disagree with your comments. WHAT makes you the higher intelligence and always right about everything? I also didn't know you were an admin on this site telling us NOT to post our opinions or thoughts.
Just like you criticized me for saying that the Obama administration will start taxing us for the deathbill sooner than the deathbill will be enacted and thats exactly what they will be doing.
Please keep your harsh judgements for the Libtards, not us patriots!!!
I think we did see Al Gore and James Hansen walking on water in Copenhagen. The water was called snow.
Look, you keep posting tinfoil things, claiming that they'rfe hard, cold, facts and then go crazy when I refute you.
I never claimed to be an admin here; as a matter of fact, I wish there was an active admin here, to take control of the trolls, but there apparently isn't one.
I suggested, merely suggested that you not embarrass yourself and/or this site, by posting the hair-brained junk ( no, not everything you post/say; just the extremely
crackpot stuff ) you did up and into every now and then.
Re the "deathbill"……………..HUNH? I think that you are mixing me up with someone else. Unless your reference to a "deathbill" is to something other than inheritance taxes, please call it by what it is, as there is no such a thing as a "deathbill".

Personally, I encourage all believers in global warming to put their money where their mouths are and kill themselves to save the planet.
I guess believing the earth is round is religion also?
The reason that the Christmas trees were not wanted in Copenhagen is a lot different than you think. The GREENS are tree huggers. They are the pagans of old who used to worship the trees as if they were gods.
When Christianity was spreading, one thing that was done in those pagan lands where trees were seen to be gods, happened to be the cutting down of a tree to prove that it was an inanimate object. This is how we got the Christmas trees in the first place – cut them down to prove that they are not gods.
However, for these new pagan tree huggers who believe in the religion of global warming, the Christmas tree is a reminder of the fact that their gods do not really exist…. no wonder the UN claimed to want to be neutral on the religion front. They were afraid of the cutting down of the trees….. in real pagan fashion.
Excellent report, i trust you will carry the message to your fellow counrty men, all kidding aside, this is a very serious problwm…i hope we continue to here more for the land of BOAGS, hehehe

Well, sort of, but not quite.
The ancient Romans used to put cut greens and vegetation as decorations during their winter festivals, which were passed down throughout the ancient Roman Empire.
The ancient Celts also used green boughs for decorations, as well as the Druids supposedly venerating certain trees ( OAKS ) and mistletoe.
It was Germans, and ONLY Germans who decorated Christmas trees, which weren't popular in England or the USA until Prince Albert introduced it when he was newly married to Queen Victoria.
Many hundreds of years ago, some leftover pagan traditions, using trees, could be found on May Day and also at New Years, Easter time, and during the Advent season in parts of France, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
Holly and ivy have long been part of Christmas decorations and also mentioned in extremely old Christmas carols and hymns.
During the earliest parts of Christianity, in Europe ( 6th century ), many bishops sent out word to forbid the use of "pagan greens" bedecking houses and churches, yet in 15th century London, there survives written proof that houses and churches did, indeed use all manner of ever green plants ( firs, ivy, bay …….anything that was green ) was the normal thing to do at Christmas time.
Cromwell did away with anything and everything that was other than just going to church and prayer, at Christmas, in England and the holiday more or less stayed that way ( in England and yes, in America as well ), until Dickens wrote and published "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" in 1843.
“American disciples such as Al Gore and President Barack Obama are more than willing to sacrifice economic stability at the alter of Global Warming.”
1. Al Gore won’t sacrifice his economic stability. He’s in the carbon trading business, so he’ll profit from it.
2. A sacrifice is performed at an altar. Copenhagen was trying to alter the economy.
You are so very right!! ANYTHING that is happening now, has happened before, and will happen again…that's just the way the ball rolls…
For once the History channel got is mostly right…
The Pagans had one thing right…they worshiped all things NOT man made, as they realized that there was indeed a higher entity than themselves…they worshiped the Sun God, The Moon God and everything that they derived sustenance from…until the Catholic (yes, I am Catholic) armies were told by the church to kill all pagans…History, people, history!

The whole reason for the world getting warmer, ISN'T global warming; the world has just come out of an ice age, therefore it's obviously going to get warmer and any actions performed by us will NOT change this simple fact.
Sort of………………..the church ordered forced conversions, for a thousand years, when it wasn't ordering mass expulsion or murder.
But, rckmom, the church incorporated many pagan symbols and festivities, to get and keep the pagans Christians. In the early days of Christianity ( long after Jesus and the disciples were dead ) Mithraism and Christianity were vying for which religion would win out. Many of the titles given to Jesus and Mary, his mother, were taken from Mithraism; as was Mithra's birthday; December 25. Comparative religion is a fascinating study and one which doesn't do away with one's faith; it just makes one more educated.
Religions die hard.
Wow you're dumb.
Actually, the real reason is all the hot air that the green weenies are putting into the atmosphere with all their AGW speechifying.
Get rid of the lefty politicians, and the global temperature would probably drop 15 degrees.
A very brief, concise and to the point reply that hits the nail on the head, but we must remember that the dumbing down of education has been going on for quite a few years now and laced with a heavy dose of atheistic propaganda which explains much of the mindless rant of many of the comments.
There is quite a lot of websites that have very good and relevant information on the climate and the very many honest scientist who are working to get the truth out and their projections are spot on, making the global warmists look like the charlatans they really are. My favorite is <iceagenow.com> and over time you'll have links to many other outstanding websites.
Ventura is a lying sack of crap, when he made his run for Governor,he had spent the better part of 2-3 years railing against the Metropolitan Council, an appointed board with the power to tax at will, without being held to account by the voters of Minnesota. At an event I asked then-candidate Ventura whether his first order of business would be the abolishment of the Met Council. I was told in no uncertain terms that it was job 1 for his administration. Within 6 months not only had the board not been dissolved, he put Walter Mondale's little boy Ted, in charge of it!
Fuck him, let him stay in whatever hole he has been hiding in.

CFC Theory Casts Doubt On CO2 Warming

http://www.thegwpf.org/the-observatory/342-cfc-th...
i'm agnostic on global warming. wondering where you got economic numbers. 9 trillion gdp, 2.5 million jobs lost, 90% electricity increases, etc. it is righteuos to be skeptical, just make certain your skepticism is politically blind. hence you may be seen as a hypocrite.
THEREFORE, THE CHALLENGE TO RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALISM IS THROUGH THE COURT SYSTEM. IF RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALISM CAN BE ESTABLISHED AS A RELIGION, JUST AS WICCA OR SCIENTOLOGY ARE, THEN GOVERNMENT SANCTIONING OF SUCH SHALL BE RENDERED UNCONSTITUTIONAL UNDER THE 1ST AMENDMENT.
