Pollster Opposites: Greens Try to Cope With ClimateGate
by Christopher C. HornerPoll after poll have recently affirmed that the ClimateGate revelations (I actually say “affirmations“) dealt a mortal blow to the public’s belief in the environmentalist brass ring of “catastrophic Man-made global warming.” The dishonesty exposed therein iced the cake for a public attentive to the increasingly shrill and absurd alarmist campaign, demonstrably cooler temperatures cool and the sky remaining precisely where we left it.

Troubled by such results, several green groups to rush out polls of their own, riddled with gauzy questions generally distilling to “wouldn’t you want to save the planet from destruction if you could get rich doing so?” I oversimplify, but not grossly. This week the National Wildlife Federation claimed two-thirds of Americans want federal limits on greenhouse gases! Surely a Congress desperate to do something popular will hop on board this train? Not likely.
The shocker from these forays is that a substantial number have so little regard for the alarmist claptrap that they’re willing to dismiss even loaded questions designed to elicit a positive response.
You may recall a Washington Post poll conducted a few years ago, even before the cooling trend became pronounced, and severe winters of the sort that green activists assured us were now a thing of the past serially returned. That poll prompted a WaPo headline trumpeting that the public wanted to address climate change “at whatever the cost”.
This is the sort of tool employed for years to support the talking point that it was that mean George W. Bush that stood between the United States, nay, the world, in agreeing to climate harmony in the form of a treaty and domestic cap-and-trade language (Copenhagen just now put the lie to that, for any who actually believed the argument).
Of course, the Post pollsters didn’t actually pressure test that result, laden with cheap virtue as are all such ventures where the only cost is a reply. All they dared learn was that “at any cost” meant to the majority something less than a dollar more per gallon. If only cap-and-trade would merely inflict that harm, why, the greens might be onto something. But our president has admitted the axiom that cap-and-trade is designed to cause energy prices to “necessarily skyrocket”, “bankrupt[ing]” industries.
So despite the flurry of greenie claims that the public is, too, with them, another poll came out this week commissioned by the National Federation of Independent Business. Its results track far better with the only poll that matters, more on which in a moment.
NFIB found that two-thirds of small business owners and managers — the people whose sentiments drive three-fourths of new-job creation — oppose a cap-and-trade scheme. 52 percent of voters oppose it, making it about as popular as Obama’s health care takeover. 54 percent of small business owners and managers, and 42 percent of voters, believe that such a system would result in job loss.
The reason the results were different is that NFIB’s pollsters added context to what they were asking, if possibly more soberly than is warranted but, hey, they erred on that side for credibility giving them a leg up on the greens. So respondents were at least challenged to consider that the policies are not free-ice cream — even if still just in answering a poll question, which hurts slightly less than actually paying the additional amounts or losing your job. Polls claiming to show public support for cap-and-trade seem to prefer a don’t ask, don’t tell approach.
Elected lawmakers, who appear to jealously guard only one job — their own — are unlikely to try and ram through cap-and-trade next year as the greens’ polls indicate would be the popular thing to do. In fact, numerous self-styled “centrist” Democrat senators and even the occasional liberal like Sen. Jay Rockefeller have indicated that, no, this appears to be a good issue to think about for 2011. That’s an odd-numbered year, you see, with no elections, and the public, as reflected in the NFIB poll, want nothing to do with this scheme and want their lawmakers to have even less to do with it.
So let the greens wave about polls whose questions smack more than a little like scripts from late-night real estate get-rich-quick infomercials. Senators know that this stove is hot, and they aren’t about to lay their own hands on it. That’s not to say there won’t be feints and even a few death throes this Congress to try and convince a dispirited left-wing base that they should be excited about voting in 2010.
But cap-and-trade is a dead parrot. In a way, that’s a shame. Actually trying to pass it would allow for salting the political earth from which the sneaky, cynical idea sprang. But that, too, shall come.

I don't know about the dead parrot, but I think it might have been the canary in the coal mine.
Global Warming, eh?
The Great Plains just got hammered by the Blizzard of the Century. The National Guard is still trying to dig out and recover people from abandoned automibles on the interstates.
Algore the Blizzard Redux, Mother Nature sure has a sense of humor. I reckon it'll be hot where Gore spends eternity.
Like all liberal wealth redistribution schemes, this will come back in a year or two under a different name.
They're all used car salesmen. "What would it take for me to put you in this brand spanking new liberty-eroding entitlement?"
Save the planet, build a bear, stop using electricity live in a cave.
Grow a garden, never buy a big screen TV.
Get out your bike, cars are evil.
We heard it already and it is getting old and crusty.
it shows how stupid these people are, a global warming conference durring the winter. It seems a more logical date should have been August. Lib clowns are needed to make us laugh
Libs are a depressing bunch
It's fortunate there are peopleout there like yourself, Lord Monckton, Patrick Michaels just to name a couple. We need you guys to sve us from the watermelons. Jessie Ventura had a great episode in his conspiracy theory show last wednesday. I hope enough people saw that to make a dent in the public's opinon. Green piece was ok when they were chasing whalers, now they are a big part of the problem.
Dallas just had it's first white Christmas in my mother's lifetime. She was born a few months before Wyatt Earp died.
glad im not a lib they ever seem to be happyalways ranting screaming name calling getting violent why oh why would anyone wanna be a liberal is beyound me

The psychotic greenie weenies claim this blizzard was caused by global warming. When I ask on their discussion boards what caused the same blizzard in 1919, they delete my question.
Humorous little article about the weather:
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/1829...
I was wrong in calling it Algore the Blizzard. A more appropriate name is "Snowtrina". Comparably, since Katrina was Bush's fault, is Snowtrina Obongo's fault?
Well you might want to be a little cautious yet.Just recently the EPA has classified co2 as a( dangerous) gas! And I got a funny felling this might be the tool the left is going to use to impose crap-in-tax on us even though the science is bogus! How can we force these idiots to look at facts?Well I guess Marxist have no need of the truth!
Who needs polls? In May 2008 Carbon Credits were trading for 7 dollars a ton on the Chicago Board of trade. Today the same unit is selling for 10 cents a ton. Follow the money and you do not need polls.
Carbon Credit Market Imploding: CCX now 10 cents a tonne

Hey, I'm getting old and crusty, and all I have to say on the subject is this: Green Kills
"Senators know that this stove is hot, and they aren’t about to lay their own hands on it."
A more apt analogy: "Senators know that this rail is ice cold, and they aren’t about to put their own tongues on it- not with the election train bearing down on them."
There's still time to go to PBS here and post a comment regarding Jim Lehrer’s interview with Obama

We all know Global Warming is crap. As long as we educate the general populace as to the long-term cost of what the Global Elite propose we will win.
In the mean-time we can work towards building new nuclear power plants and cut back on the use of coal and petroleum. I don't think there is anyone in the conservative movement is against improving the air we breathe or cutting our dependence on foreign energy sources – as long as it is done with rational thought – ie. liberals stay out of the discussion.
Prices will necessarily skyrocket, bankrupting companies…
Which then are bailed out by the government, who then imposes its' will on those companies.
or maybe my tin-foil hat is on too tight.
You better hurry that book out before you spill all the beans.
Don't worry. In a generation or so when the mercury seeps into the enviornment from all the new twisty light bulbs, TV's, thermostats, etc, we'll all be mad as hatters anyway.
Earth Charter Commission Co-Chairs
The Earth Charter Initiative was launched in 1994 by Maurice Strong, his newly formed Earth Council and Mikhail Gorbachev, acting in his capacity as president of Green Cross International. In 1997, the Earth Council and Green Cross International formed an Earth Charter Commission to give oversight to the process.

The U.N. Meditation Room is built in the shape of a truncated pyramid. In the center is an altar made out of magnetite, the largest natural piece of magnetite ever mined. For meditation purposes it is probably the most ideal spot on the planet, since the magnetite altar has its foundation straight down, built into the bedrock of the land below; tapping into the energies of the earth itself. The mysterious mural also helps the worshippers tune into esoteric energies, and helps facilitate a state of altered consciousness.

"Gaia Covenant"
If you look at what happened in Russia post-USSR as global phenomenon, elites globally are engaging in a private equity "leveraged buyout" of public institutions. Monopolizing on increasing public recognition of the failure of our institutions (government, business, unions, science) and the abject failure of Enlightenment's rationality to control risk and uncertainty, the elites are regressing to self-control. I'd argue that Obama's election (the rejection of one social system) and the pending disaster the Democrats will see in 2010 mirror this race-to-the-singular, where everyone's fleeing the institutions in an effort to grab what they can for the pending and near-immediate Uncertainty that approaches.
That the greens have discarded critically needed movements, such as efforts to control developing nation pollution or the disaster occurring within our oceans, is telling. Their institution too has failed all of us in addressing societal concerns regarding the health of the planet, instead seizing upon efforts for their elites enrichment and privatization of control in anticipation of the coming chaos and systemic collapse. Globally, it appears everyone is awakening to the realization that command and control, trust in institutions and empowerment of elites has not only absolutely failed, but the elites have actually increased world risk. Fully awakened, things do not bode well for the elites. I cannot imagine the wrath that will be bestowed upon them when a full accounting of their excess and fraud is uncovered. A bankrupt USA owning over $100 trillion only scratches the surface.
Why you ask? Check fat Als bank account for the answer.

Hatless you demonstrate a great understanding of the globalist plan for world domination. I only hope you are correct about the end game. That will depend on those of us who know to get the message out. Becuse we can't expect much help from the media, they are either bought off or afraid. I will include here an excerp from an earlier post of mine.
The posse comitatus act created in 1878 states “it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States to execute the laws of this nation without the approval of the congress of the United States”. In 2007 Bush paved the way for the National Defence Authorization Act which severly dilutes and obfuscates the Act of 1878 with bipatrisan support congressional support to make it possible to have our troops turned on us by executive order without even the requirement of notifing congress during a "national emergency"…
Carbon footprints. I watched the evening news. I saw massive Christmas light displays. One electric bill ran into the, get this, 5 figure numbers. All broadcast on the liberal media machine. Where's the outrage. Where's the slathering hatred of the commercialism of Christmas. The waste of of dear mother Earth's precious natural resources. To bad McCain didn't get elected. I miss the good old days of overindulgence in our government. The unneccessary use of harmful, global destroying coal fired electricity for nothing more than glitz and glamour. Ahhhhh! Ready to puke yet. I am. Even as bad a joke as Gore is he still has "true belivers". Jim Jones got them to drink the Kool-aid even after the first ones dropped. Keep up the good fight. We, the pagans, shall prevail. God bless.
"Why would anyone wanna be a liberal?"
Some have no choice; they were born with a mental defect that prevents them from being able to think critically. They operate on feelings and emotions, not logic and reason.
Others started out as normal humans but were subjected to left wing brainwashing and propaganda in our schools and universities, and through Hollywood and the media. For those, there may be hope provided their brain disease has not progressed to the final stages.

Great point!
Where are the stories about the hazards of the mercury laden bulbs?
Let us not forget the carpet bagging con artists that make up the wind industry and the "wind farm" scam.
IF the global warming fringe genuinely believes they are right and want the public on their side one way to do that would to get AL Gore to debate the issue. He has been challenged time and time again and yet pretends he doesn't here the challenge.
The alarmist tactics are dried up and old
As algore is finding out, it's not nice to fool mother nature, or try to rip people off when everyone knows where he lives, the idiot. Sayonara, d*ckhead!
The concerned global citizens left a carbon footprint in Copenhagen the size of which even Al Gore would envy. That conference was akin to serial killers getting together to denounce murder.
Insightful article. Especially your ending thoughts. . .
"But cap-and-trade is a dead parrot. In a way, that’s a shame. Actually trying to pass it
would allow for salting the political earth from which the sneaky, cynical idea sprang.
But that, too, shall come."
However, Barry oBOWma has a lot of "friends" lined up to make money from Carbon Credit Exchanges. . .my bet is that it will be pushed forward. . .to reward Barry's cronies and campaign contributors. Also, the Libs are in an over-reach mode and they just can't help themselves.
Would be interesting if "someone" was sitting on more evidence and waiting for just the right time.
Back in the late 1960s, it was all "GLOBAL COOLING", then it went into hyper drive with "GLOBAL WARMING", most recently it morphed into "CLIMATE CHANGE".
Back in the late '60s, there was "THE POPULATION BOMB" with these same idiots claiming that by the '70s, then the '80s, and by gosh, surely by the '90s or the turn of the century, the mankind would all starve to death. This is being recycled, now, yet again, with whoops and hollerings about how there are far too many people alive.
These lunatics are like the weirdos who used to wander around city streets carrying large signs that read "THE END IS NEAR". They need to be laughed at; not believed!
Not to be nit picky, but Carbon isn't traded on the CBOT; they have their own idiotic exchange, filled to the brim with Obama insiders.
Thank you, I stand corrected, it is the Carbon Credit Exchange http://bit.ly/7EEpU9
Thank you, I stand corrected, it is the Carbon Credit Exchange http://bit.ly/7EEpU9
The root cause of the Fort Hood massacre was fear of the Truth…because it was not in the politically correct handbook.
Governments will never let the global warming scam end. They see it as a great source of power and wealth. The global warming legislation will make the health care take over seem like small potatoes.
Dead parrot. Monty Python's Lumberjack skit's lead-in was in a pet shop where a customer was returning a dead parrot and the proprietor kept asserting that it was alive. Nice.
Waiting for a Spotted Owl to get caught in a prop.
It's a hard blow for some when they realize that Santa Claus isn't real. Same goes for global warming. Some will get it right away. For some it will take a while. And for the rest, well…..there is medication.
This is the lynch pin of their cap and trade policy. Good cop bad cop. Pass cap and trade or we'll do a command and control regulation that will be worse from the executive side. Although not a noble gas, CO2 is a noble and life-sustaining molecule. Getting this wonderful part of our atmosphere off the EPA's pollution list should be job ONE.
This is one of the most hypocritical of the green's positions. The coal-burning portion of the country should go nuclear ASAP. The benefits are immense. State and Fed government could do a lot to cut the red tape involved in putting these plants online.
The EPA will enforce Draconian measures on us if we don't accept C&T. It's the left's last gasp attempt to pass that bogus legislation. Obie's good friend at the Chicago Carbon Exchange is the only person authorized to sell carbon credits. I'm sure this is merely a coincidence. Those that have the money to buy into this farce stand to become billionaires if this passes, including Algore and some of Obie's cronies. They MUST pass this or they'll have the EPA threaten to punish us. Typical Chicago thug tactics.
Just because you (we) are paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you (us).
A bankrupt USA owning over $100 trillion only scratches the surface.
I'm guessing you mean owe? Certainly good ground for reversal of the sanction of the governed.
I think you're right on target. Obie practicing his usual brand of fascism. Of course, he doesn't want to do this; he's told us so, but he's being forced into it. /s
I so wish sir that the problem was only something like that, unfortunately the roots of the problem are much deeper then that, I strrongly recomend you look closely at the recent posts of copperpeony, paulrevere101, and myself. The hour grows late, we have a manchurian candidate in the White House…
God Bless Us All
"That conference was akin to serial killers getting together to denounce murder."
…and then merely agreeing that it might possibly be akin to something similar to being impolite to take another's life without his or her permission. Then retiring to the nearest green restaurant or bordello to restore their moral rectitude after their efforts.
Amen.
The CCE is a brand new exchange and a cooked up/phony one. The CBOT was bought and merged a few years ago, leaving the CBOE ( Chicago Board of Options Exchange ) the last stand alone, in its original for; though perhaps not for long.
I wasn't trying to be anything other than informative and there's no point in tarring the CBOT with the muck that the CCE should engender, from everyone; is all.
How about brown, because they're full of crap?
It would be if it succeeded. The data has been credibly challenged in so many places and the economic health of the entire planet is so dire that even the powerful allure of this scam might be foiled for now. It will be back, as mentioned in an earlier comment. As CSNY said: "Teach your children well…"
Wasn't Hasan a member of the president transition team, specifically on the Homeland Security task force? What a farce that is if true. Was he vetted by Val Jarrett, the same nutjob who vetted Van Jones?
Christopher C. Horner, you are one of the best out there confronting the Global Warmist train. I'm truly impressed with your abilities on TV against the unarmed weaklings willing to debate you.
I agree. And remember, only buy seafood in those months which end in "R".
This is where our court system is supposed to kick in as a check and balance. What the administration is attempting to do through the EPA because they can't get the legislation will be challenged in courts all over America. I hope there are enough level headed judges out there to save us from the economy destroying effects of Cap and Trade by proxy.
OK I give
Hello Bro
Cowboy Logic
Albert (boy) Gore, needs to go to the Midwest and spout some hot air to melt the snow.
God does have a sense of humor!
The AGW fringe is painfully (I'm certain) aware that AlGore would be shredded in any forum that was not scripted.
Mr. Obama was hoping to add legitimacy to this global warming fraud by attending the Copenhagen fiasco. Mr. Obama said we should judge him by the company he keeps.
It is well known that this illegitimate climategate enterprise was concocted by fraudulent scienctists and promoted by corrupt politicians. Indeed, Mr. Obama should be judged by the company he keeps.
And even this inclimate weather, with record cold and snowstorms is putting a lie to the snowjob called AGW.
emissions-tax on balloons-mandate EPA
Message to Al Bore and his UN butt buddies………..BUSTED!!!
Here's a little something for everyone to digest and to get them thinking about the fraud of the "green" movement here at home on a local scale, and in particular, of the National Wildlife Federation. In Florida, where I live, lots of confused people who fancy themselves as "environmentalists" have been deluded for years into thinking that Florida needs to spend millions and millions of dollars killing "non-native" "invasive" "harmful" plants and trees. So, the brilliant Floridian politicians, in bed with fraudulent scientists, have enacted all sorts of laws and regulations about what plants and trees can be planted, which ones are illegal and must be eradicated, and there are fines and penalties if you don't follow the party line. If you're a developer, you have to pay big bucks to get rid of your "non-native" invasive plants on your developable land before you can get a permit so that makes everything even more expensive to build down here.. Everything is under the guise of "wetlands mitigation" but no wetlands are being mitigated whatsoever. It's kind of like a mini-cap and tax program, except here it's an environmental joke because on top of making everyone's life more expensive, Florida has used the cheapest method for killing all the offending plants and trees, which is deadly chemical herbicides. Florida injects millions and millions of dollars annually into its soil, its beloved Everglades and its water resources, in the form of harmful chemicals! I'm writing a book about it. While researching and exposing all of this, I was opposed, naturally, by the tree-killing proponents who kept citing their National Wildlife "certified native yards" to me as examples of their "environmentally proud" efforts at conservation. So I went on the National Wildlife's website (you've probably seen their children's programs and expensive PRODUCTS FOR SALE indoctrinating kids to believe in all this garbage too) and sure enough, FOR A FEE, you just answer a few questions on a form about what you've done with your own backyard to create an environmentally sound "native habitat" and in less than a minute you, too, can be the "environmentally proud" owner of a CERTIFIED NATIVE YARD sign–sure evidence of your role in the Green Movement on a local scale. What a crock!
Same Trojans, different horse.
"Elites" must be code for POLITICIANS.
It's not simple hypocrisy, it's ideology. The ecozealots don't want to replace fossil fuels with anything; they want to repeal the Industrial Revolution. They want *no* energy. That's why they bring lawsuits even to block wind and solar developments, lame as they are.
The (supposed)ruling elite are finding their plan, world domination by the new religious order Church of the Earth, has suffered a setback; the great unwashed masses are on to them. Expect much yelling and shouting to throw us off the scent as they try to re-establish their footing. Keep at 'em.
YESSSSS!!!!! Although "they" try to claim conservatives have "no solutions." It's just not the same as what they call a solution! Why does it seem like the libs ALWAYS want to treat the symptoms and ignore the disease?? How about JUST ONCE WTP seek a cure instead of a trillion dollar band aide?
Is your snowcap melting? Perhaps we need to buy sneakers so they can lace up the damn things up and get to moving!!! Move a little close to another water source. No you don't have to live like a mountain goat. You don't have to live like a mountain goat! (Tom Petty)
It seem to me if we go back and take a look at the results from every "War on….______" over the past
40 years….they are dismal failures. The first one I remember is "pollution" the poor Indian crying as the trash blew across the road…how's that working out now? War on Teen pregnancy, STD's, abortions…..Kerry remarked the other day "we've had policies in place for decades and I believe we are making steady progress towards increased adoption, fostering…blah blah blah" Teen pregnancy down slightly due to use of contraceptives and laws preventing parental notification (thanks Planned Parenthood….and I'm sure like ACORN their reported numbers are accurate) Abortions:1980 (the peak) 29/1000 women, 2004 20/1000 women; teens down but other age groups picked up the losses. STD'S out of control! War on drugs…what a joke! Anyone seen the drug dens "on every corner" in Ca? How about education?? "It's for the kids future, we have to catch up with other nations!" Well, "they" have spent the last 20 years dumb'in down our kids, they actually graduate w/o being able to read; can not tell time w/o a digital clock; don't know history or science! BUT they can put on a condom; know about alternative sex in kindergarten; they have no desire to work; having unprecedented numbers of ADD/ADHD but they will spend hours and hours on the cell phone or video games! Labeled LD, but never catch up, just carry the label forever, and then the government pays them $1000/month for being LD…wh-what?? NOW HC…..oh goody!!! I can't wait for the unlimited, all access, quality care WTP will be paying for, for ourselves and everyone else!! Wonder how these calm, compassionate, open minded liberals are going to feel when their loved one dies because some non-DR decided they do not qualify for unlimited care? Or as in NC right now, they have to wait until the first of the month to sign up, get sick on the 2nd?? "TOOOOO BAD!!! Got to follow the rules, no exceptions! Or you can pony up $5K+ and maybe we will squeeze you in, but $$$ first!! CHF? CVA? MI? tough, wait 'til next month!!! I am SURE we won't see riots in the streets, like in Copenhagen; or Pennsylvania this past summer; or Ca last summer; or Az; or………mmmmmm!
"The nature of messages that I receive from the public, and the fact that NASA Headquarters received more than 2500 inquiries in the past week about our possible “manipulation” of global temperature data, suggest that the concerns are more political than scientific. Perhaps the messages are intended as intimidation, expected to have a chilling effect on researchers in climate change.
The recent “success” of climate contrarians in using the pirated East Anglia e-mails to cast doubt on the reality of global warming* seems to have energized other deniers. I am now inundated with broad FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests for my correspondence, with substantial impact on my time and on others in my office. I believe these to be fishing expeditions, aimed at finding some statement(s), likely to be taken out of context, which they would attempt to use to discredit climate science."
http://www.columbia.edu/~jeh1/mailings/2009/20091...
contin….James Hansen is very upset at us. His scientific mind has decided that we're political and intimidating, all on the basis that he got a few thousand emails, get that… They are the scientific experts and we are the little people. Do not question that they were defrauding us, and then conspired to destroy the evidence, emails and data. Do not q;uestion that they were stealing from us for decades nor point out that it was illegal, immoral and unethical to do so. They had a greater purpose in mind for us, whether it was to gain more money, even trillions, is none of our business. What they tell us is all we need to know. This climate-gate scam is even greater than the food for oil caper the UN perp'ed. They weren't thrown in jail nor will these con-artists. We gotta clean up this filth!!
“Gingrich’s four-point plan to improve the economy:
(1) suspending immediately mark to market provisions (the accounting practice of valuing a financial position in an investment at its current market price) in the hopes of stopping the downward spiral in asset values and eventually replacing it with a three year rolling average;
(2) repealing immediately Sarbanes-Oxley, the 2002 accounting law Gingrich described as “an enormous drag on small business”;
(3) setting the capital gains tax rate at zero “matching the Chinese and Singapore” (to encourage private capital to flood into the market picking up properties without the taxpayers being at risk); and
(4) passing an “extraordinarily powerful” energy bill (”to return $500 billion a year to the American economy that are currently going overseas”).”

I'm sitting here, surrounded by a 14" snow and 9 above zero tonight…IN OKLAHOMA!!! Capital letters just don't give enough emphasis to the situation. Liberal intellectuals think we in the center of the country are just too ignorant to understand global warming, and liberal leaders just want to silence us. I want to do something about this so bad I ache. Or maybe that's just from all the snow I've had to dig out of. Sorry…got off topic.
If people want to be brain-dead sheep and listen to these liars, that's their business. But if it leads to extra taxation or loss of jobs, we should not participate. And if the EPA does an end-around and forces the harsh environmental policies on us (which they're constitutionally not allowed to do), we should have a tax revolt. Don't pay the government a dime in taxes. It will only work if a large enough group has the courage to do so, but what an immediate impact it would make. Please think hard about withholding your taxes if the EPA does it. And have a Happy New Year.
Al Gore is an idiot.
Being a libtard means never having to be bound by the facts nor the truth.
I'm employed by a firm that designs and builds CFB (coal fired boilers) and PC (pulverized coal) uniits and I can confirm your statement. Basically, we're engineers. We don't advocate for any particular technology. we spend a good deal of time installing scrubbers as well. I can't get behind much of what the AGW hucksters are pushing simply because it's half-baked. If they come up with something that actually solves real problems, I'm all for it.
Algore should hear: "All that BS you said is about to be used against you….you have the right to an attorney…Janet Reno…."
All are great plans. I wish somebody else was saying it.
That is..unless you are Al Gore, rich politicians, or movie stars. They will continue to jet around, heat their huge homes, buy their expensive vehicles, and live in the lap of luxury. Don't dare get rid of that big screen tv, Hollywood needs it.
Hypocrites all.

What the climate alarmists remind me of is a company called Bre-x. Bre-X was a company here in Calgary that supposedly found a whole lot of gold in Indonesia. It stock shot up from pennies to over $200. Every report they did claimed to have found more gold with richer core samples just as the alarmist report on worse and worse consequences of global warming every report they do.
Bre-X turned out to be a big lie and many people lost their shirts when a third party audit revealed no gold. Eventually the same thing will happen to the climate alarmists as happened to Bre_X unfortunately everybody not just a few misled investors will lose their shirts on this one unless we stop them.

Can someone tell me how to know when you update the information on your website? I don’t want to have to remember to come back all the time. Someone said something about a feed? I don’t know what that is. Thank You
