Scientists and Climate Change: Hide the Baloney

Here are my thoughts on the matter.
In short, just as after the Soviet collapse and a trove of documents revealed that system to be precisely as historian Robert Conquest had detailed to terrific opprobrium from academics worldwide, Conquest supposedly suggested calling his re-released works “I told you so, you [expletive] fools.”
Scientists lied, Kyoto died. Hallelujah.

IMO, this is not about the science or whether or not there is global warming. This is about distributive wealth. And as such, I fear that this is going to prove to be a very tough nut to crack indeed. But this is very good news.

Chris Horner uttered the most profound words that I've yet heard to describe these Eveready Bunnies. "This is an ideology in search of an excuse." I Googled the phrase, and the only hit was this one, from him. That's exactly the problem, stated perfectly.
The ideology, BTW, is all about reparations. Not just for slavery in The South kind–it's the "what we've done to the whole world" kind. Obama's in the Reparations Administration, never let a good crisis go to waste, never look forward when you can look back and BANG AND BLAME.
Science has gone through this over & over again, it will survive. The problem is that we, as humans, have developed the memory span of a nats, we will forget all about it in 5-10yrs as another group works up another scheme. It happened with Eugenics, global ice age, world drought, acid rain & on & on. The problem telling the scams from the real science is that the scams often starts out as real science then gets morphed to the point it creates a life of its own. Politics & money get involved. From that point it's just off to the races.
Global warming science is infected with peer pressure, government pressure and political money (including grants). Much of science has, and that is a shame.
The UN is so deeply in the sewers with the likes of Algore and it's all about money. Corruption at it's best: and yes, scientists payed in mutimillion dollar grants to blather nonsense to the uneducated public. We need to get rid of the UN first and foremost, then the Fed Reserve and the idiots in Congress. Time to clean house folks.

It's not over by a long shot folks. The Left isn't about to give up on this man-made climate change scam of theirs. So many people have been brainwashed into believing this nonsense for decades that no amount of proof that it is the fraud I always knew it was will easily change their minds now. I just got through arguing with a family member over dinner who believes this garbage since that is all he was ever heard about his entire life.

Correct – it's not about the environment, it's about accumulating power, and and redistributing wealth to the thugocracies running the world's poor nations. But more than that, it's about taking the world closer to a global government, with all current governments subjugated to it. (The underpinnings of it are in the current text of the upcoming copenhagen treaty).

Forget global warming!! the end of the world is pending with out a doubt. Since some time the past summer, we have been receiving less and less sunlight. It's almost like we lose a couple of minutes every day. At this rate by June or July we will have no more daylight and the Earth will freeze. THE GOVERNMENT MUST DO SOMETHING NOW!!!
I've noticed that too. Do you think it will be a perpetual loss of sunlight or maybe it will naturally reverse itself come springtime? One can only hope!

This Monday was a very happy day in my life. It finally felt like this charade was over and the sun could once again assume with pride its rightful position as the most powerful thing in our world. More powerful than even Big Al.

Well-said! Along the same lines, if they get government healthcare, can you imagine the politics involved in healthcare research? If some poor truth-seeking researcher finds that spending more money on the elderly is the right thing to do….her career is OVER if this isn't the party line!!! This behavior is not limited to climate science. Expect politics and fraud (but I repeat myself) to infest medical and pharmaceutical research to a level we have never imagined. Expect results to be tailored to a narrative written by the left and expounded upon by MSM until 'the debate is over.' Frame this scenario in terms of your healthcare, and you get just a piece of the fallout from what they are now proposing.
For me, the 30,000 foot question is: "Who defines the ideal climate?" By what authority do they presume that warmer isn't better? The problem here is that the warming is forced to be attributed to the wrong cause: CO2. There is no way for the 350 ppm to influence the temperature of 999,650 ppm. But there is global warming that has been progressing since after the last ice age. The polar caps have always been melting since after the ice age. How far will this warming go? The man made contribution to warming is not related to CO2 emission but in deforestation. Even so, the Earth has been warming for a long time now and continues to do so.
Should we not control the forces that bring about the warming and possibly overheating of the Earth? If it is not CO2 we should find out what drives it. Personally, I think it is the water that is increasing in the atmosphere as evidenced by the volume of water that goes with hurricanes and floods.
