Lindsey Graham: For Cap and Trade, Except When He’s Not
by Christopher C. HornerFrom the “Imagine if a Democrat did this” files – say, in the context of opposing President Obama’s effort to transform our health care insurance and delivery systems . It seems that a Republican Senator has been outed as hopping in the sack with an advocacy group from the other team, itself exposed as financing ads on his behalf in support of his abandoning what has become a marquee issue for his party.
Oh, and to top it off, his staff began by deceiving about it and end (for now) by telling a whopper in the struggle to avoid scrutiny over the mess.

That is, however, precisely what’s going on in the Palmetto State, at least according to this report about the latest twist in the long, strange saga of Sen. Lindsey Graham.
Without reciting the story ably summarized by a Gamecock writer, the whopper told in the scramble is this, offered by “Graham’s top South Carolina strategist, Richard Quinn” – as well as to others I have spoken to who have recently called the Senator’s office seeking to inquire about the oddity:
“‘Lindsey doesn’t support Cap & Trade and he will not support Cap & Trade,’ Quinn told us flatly.”
Except when he does.
You see, this is all about an op-ed in the New York Times which Sen. Graham penned in recent weeks (noted in this space at the time with bemusement if, I humbly submit, amusingly) with Sen. John Kerry touting bipartisanship on climate legislation. The problem with deathless opinion pieces is one tends to offer a lot of detail, or at least specific statements. One of them in this case is that he was, inescapably, pushing cap-and-trade:
“First, we agree that climate change is real and threatens our economy and national security. That is why we are advocating aggressive reductions in our emissions of the carbon gases that cause climate change. We will minimize the impact on major emitters through a market-based system that will provide both flexibility and time for big polluters to come into compliance without hindering global competitiveness or driving more jobs overseas.”
Hmm. I’m just askin’, but which time is the senator’s office telling the truth or, alternately, is it the senator or his aide who is spreading the real story? If it isn’t cap-and-trade that he supports – and, after a dozen years on this issue, that’s the only thing even remotely meeting the above (oversold) description to which he affixed his name in our nation’s “Newspaper of Record” – then, ah, what is it precisely that he supports?
So far today his office is saying that what the senator means is that he supports a carbon cap that doesn’t cost businesses anything (even Obama’s OMB director Peter Orszag has admitted the axiomatic, that cap-and-trade would be passed on to consumers, but I’m not sure Team Graham is trying to be clever like that here). Still, OK. But as a student of the issue — you didn’t jump on board without learning about it first, right? — you do realize that doing that wouldn’t do anything? Businesses or households don’t drastically curtail energy use unless it’s really painful not to.
Here’s the issue, distilled. Sen. Graham sought to trade off his support for cap-and-trade for nominal support for offshore oil and gas exploration and support for nuclear power. The former is less than pressing given that Congress already bowed to public pressure and allowed the absurd moratorium to expire; the latter is a classic case of “waiter, the food was horrible, and there wasn’t enough of it” (the support is illusory in the absence of resolution of the waste disposal issue, and if done meaningfully is nonetheless merited, not something you plead for by offering to sell out support for cap-and-trade energy rationing).
In the process of trying to sell our energy future for a bag of magic beans, Sen. Graham discovered that the public’s feelings run much deeper on this matter than he assumed when relying upon longtime global warming crusader and cap-and-trader John McCain as his confidante and political guide star. Now, caught in flagrante Kyoto, he’s doubling down on the damning by (being charitable here) spinning wildly about his troubling position while not actually stepping forward to abandon what’s troubling about it. Because, plainly, he hasn’t abandoned it. He wants to finesse it. He wants to finesse the voters. This is at once the biggest tax increase and biggest regulatory intervention in the country’s history and the guy who sees a leader in the mirror can’t even bring himself to be straight with you about it.

Lindsey Graham HAS GOT TO GO! He makes waffles look solid. Anyone who buys into this gigantic fraud of Global warming, renamed Climate Change is either a democrat, a liar, or stupid. These terms are NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE
NOT what is going on in the Palmetto State. Do not equate us with L Graham. Look at Jim DeMint, and you will see South Carolina.
I don't know Lindsey Graham, but I don't like him. I always wondered how he ever got elected in the first place…pretty much just a loud-mouth. Every time he got up to speak I wondered what he had said. Sort of like a Republican Joe Biden!
Start brain BEFORE putting mouth in gear! McLame has got to go too. Enough of these meely-mouthed losers. When it comes to 'reaching out across the aisle' these two set world speed records each time. If you believe in something,,,,,STAND YOUR GROUND, and if you lose you will still have a clean conscience.
Right, Graham is a flake. He's been a cheerleader for the Iraq invasion and all its propaganda, and supported TARP (put in place by Bush) and the continued mega bank bailouts. Now he can't have a consistent stand on the need to address greenhouse gas emissions. I guess he's giving in to Republican leadership stupidity, denying the reality of global warming and our contribution to it.
Lindsey Graham is just a plain old political whore.
and Al Gore invented the internet
denying the reality of global warming and our contribution to it. GET A CLUE!!!
What is our contribution to it?
CO2 makes up less than 4% of the atmosphere, man-made CO2 makes up less than 3% of that.
So what is our contribution to Global Warming again?
I live in SC and voted against him in the primaries. The problem is, he won the primary. At that point, he is the better of the two left. You vote against the worst. People don't vote in the primaries, so there lies the problem.
Well, I did not think Gramnesty was an idiot. At least this explains his morally confused persona…
Exactly. He probably has RINO underwear under his custom made suit. The street corners need to be cleaned up of all political whores and their pimps.
Pick your poison, Sen. Graham – You can't have it both ways. I admired his relentlessness during the Clinton impeachment – what happened to his moral courage? Proof that Washington corrupts, absolutely.
Um, it's a bit more complex than that. Most of the atmosphere is not greenhouse gases (~70% nitrogen, ~14% oxygen, etc.), but greenhouse gases obviously play a major role in climate. Start there and look to authentic scientific journals for more information. It sounds like you borrowed a talking point from one of the myriad disinformation websites.
Research the carbon cycle. Our contribution is that we are taking huge amounts of carbon stored underground in the liquid/solid phase and spewing it into the atmosphere in the gaseous phase.
You are absolutely right! It is ALOT more complicated than that. What amazes me is the the hubris and arrogance of these so-called environmentalists to think that they have got it all figured out and that global social engineering will make even one iota of difference. What it will do is radically change the economic structure of the world and give gobs of money to third world despots and in the end accomplish NOTHING. I agree that we need need to make advances and get away from 20th century technology but it ain't gonna happen by giving control to those hypocritical, self dealing frauds at the UN. Let's figure this out ourselves without destroying our economy and our way of life. You want to hand control over to the WRONG PEOPLE.
Graham is a consumate politician…
And, in a different time he would far more acceptable. However, his 'go along to get along' approach is not good for the present. Voters want someone with defined principles, not squishy moderation.
Mr Graham's time in the Senate appear to be numbered…
Whether a donkey or an elephant, once they have been feeding at the public trough too long they all turn in to PIGS. Bulls make money, Bears make money, PIGS need to be slaughtered.

What's wrong with the warmth? Do you realize that if you are reversing the warmth then you are trying to make things cooler? And when it is cold out what will you use to stay warm?
With unemployment running in the double digits for the next decade how are all those newly poor Americans gonna stay warm?
Oh right. Alternatives. Like campfires? What buffoonery.

Try doing some independent research (reading AlGore and DNC/Pelosi/Reid fundraising newsletters is NOT research, it's "doubling down on stupid" (credit to Breitbart). If you want to know what's really going on, you have to read newspapers OUTSIDE of the US. The media inside the US is scientifically stupid and criminally dishonest. Their main job is being lapdogs for the Democratic party, spreading propaganda, and keeping people ignorant about corruption, economics, science, etc. so they'll keep voting for Dumbocrats.
Where is Don Quixote when we need him. Today is when we need him to be tilting at windmills. If windmills were a viable alternative, private industry would already have done it. And let me read the tea leaves for you. Assuming that we were to give all this money and time to developing wind power, the environmentalists would stop it because they will not allow the transmission lines to cross their sacred ground. Libs cry constantly about Haliburton, GE makes Haliburton look like penny ante crooks. GE has their hands into everything and are stealing money from our pockets, Energy, Health Care,,,,All that was accomplished was replacing one special interest with another. THAT IS NOT CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN
You used the word "reality" AND "global warming" in the same sentence? Are you so out of touch as to not even realize the "greenie" intelligentsia altered that to CLIMATE CHANGE specifically because of the debunking of such things as "warmest period in history" occurs only when history is rewritten to accommodate such, debunking of the hockey stick itself from the Yamal samples by many such as Canadian statistician Steve McIntyre, outright destruction of the raw data by HadCRUT and numerous findings of shady science. If you are going to hail "climate change" as science fact, try reading some of the relevant material itself rather than listening to JABBA THE GORE.

(just an example to show how much CO2 is in our air)
There is no scientifically valid mechanism for carbon dioxide creating global warming, because CO2 absorbs the limited radiation available to it in about ten meters (Heinz Hug). An increase in CO2 only shortens the distance, which is not an increase in temperature. Since scientists know this, a fake mechanism is contrived for the top of the troposphere based on thin spectrum shoulders. But again, an increase in CO2 only shortens the distance radiation travels, which does nothing significant to increase the temperature. And there is no explanation of how the supposed temperature increase at the top of the troposphere, which is very cold, can produce heat at ground level.
CO2 Charlatanism
Nature shows that greenhouse gasses do nothing, because precipitation has been increasing, and any heating of the atmosphere due to greenhouse gasses would have decreased precipitation. Increased snow and ice over the centers of Antarctica and Greenland have caused oceans to stop rising over the past few years.
There was 5 times as much CO2 in the air during the dinosaur years, and 20 times as much before that, because oceans absorb CO2 and tie it up as calcium carbonate in coral reefs gradually forming limestone. There is now 1/3 as much CO2 in the air as plants need to grow on.
Climate is controlled by the oceans, not the atmosphere.
The oceans have 1,000 times more heat capacity than the atmosphere. It means oceans can heat the air far more than air can heat the oceans. And it means carbon dioxide is not heating the oceans. Solar and geothermal energy heat the oceans.
I know Lindsey and all I can say is I am very disappointed in his recent escapades. When he was first running for congress, my brother worked on his campaign and I got to know him. He was a good conservative person. Now I hardly recognize what he has become. I wrote him several times on the Sotomayor vote and didn't receive a reply until after the vote was over, explaining to me why he voted for her. I replied that it is not his job to vote the way he see's fit, it it his job to vote what his constituents want. Which was overwhelmingly against Sotomayor. In my reply i explained to him why he has now lost my support and that I would be actively campaigning against him in the next election. Hopefully we can get a true conservative to run against him.
I believe most of what Jabba the Gore lauds starts off with "Once upon a time…" and after an Oscar for his science fiction epic A Convenient Opportunity, he's laughing all the way to the bank.
There are three questions:
Is the climate changing (warming)?
Is man made greenhouse gas a significant contributor?
If so, can a man made deficit in greenhouse gas change the climate?
Question number one is EASY and where the bulk of the consensus is at. Yes, the climate changes history shows us that, geology shows us that, it’s all around us.
The science that proves the correlation between man-made greenhouse gases and climate change is poor, in question or based on computer models with faulty assumptions or inputs. No computer model has accurately predicted the climate. Example, what was the Hurricane activity like this year? What was the prediction five or ten years ago based on warming centric computer models? More and bigger, it didn’t pan out.
The correlation is so poor Al Gore removed the hockey stick graph out of his presentation.
Interestingly, science that shows correlation between climate change and solar cycles/earth-sun geometry is minimized or dismissed altogether. This is significant since these two cycles alone have been the source of ALL climate change historically. Why abandon it? It is also interesting that current solar activity is at an all time low and we have seen NO warming in over a decade. Here in the mid-west all signs are pointing to a cold hard winter again this year. Maybe we should pay more attention to these other correlations? The sun is our primary source of heat after all.
Now about question three, the IPCC and warmers make the ASSUMPTION that if greenhouse gas caused the problem, then removal of greenhouse gas will reverse the trend. Where's the peer reviewed scientific data and study to prove this assumption? It doesn't exist; all we have are computer models so inaccurate they got the last decade WRONG. How could we use the same models for “what if” predictions and have any confidence in the results? The honest answer is WE CAN”T. Our modeling science is not that good yet, someday but not today. Bottom line there is NO HARD evidence we can change the climate by changing the mix of chemicals in our atmosphere. This is the question that MUST be answered to justify the vast taxes and control sought by the political warmers.
If science could show a reduction of greenhouse gas creates cooling, then the radical changes and taxes proposed by global warming alarmists may be justified. But since the assumption has not been proven, sacrificing humanity to the globalists socialistic utopia is akin to sacrificing the virgin for good rain and abundant crops (climate change). A practice I thought science had taught us to leave behind long ago as foolish religion or superstition.
Don’t get me wrong, we need to do better with the resources we have on this earth but let’s pull together around truth, not dogma and propaganda. Lets put clean energy in the hands of the individual and free him from corporatism. Now that is a dream a true conservative/libertarian can get behind. The Pickens plan is corporatism, the IPCC or Van Jones plan is Socialism.
The conservative plan is Solar on Every roof top and independence from taxed, corporate power distribution!!
Hey Lindsey, Wake up, there is no middle ground when facing proud Marxists and hardcore traitors!
I don't care if Lindsey sold his soul, was hoodwinked out of it, if he is just a blithering idiot or even if he's been a 5th column plant all alone. . .
Good Bye – we have to clean house even if we loose a seat for a while so that we can actually stand for something!
I love it, Horner writes;
> It seems that a Republican Senator has been outed as hopping in the sack with an advocacy group from the other team.<
Yeah, maybe the Gomer Pyle wanna be from S.C. has been spending a few too may late nights parting at a certain Massachusetts congressman's home and has become totally packed full of Sh!t?
Lindsey Graham is just another RINO-Rose working for the other team whenever he can, the guy is a complete waste, with Him, Steele, and Newt conservatives might still snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
It's bad enough when you loose, but when you loose becasue your team mates are throwing the game then it tends to get personal.
Time for the RINO's to get their heads mounted on the wall.
How long will small, stupid GOP dinosaurs like Lindsey Graham continue to be sucked in by the Lucy-with-the-football ploys of the Democrats? I'm not familiar with the language of the "agreement" worked out by Graham, but what do you guess the odds are that:
The Cap-and-Trade regulations are to be enforced IMMEDIATELY, while relaxations of offshore drilling restrictions are to be "considered" at some unspecified time in the future?
They're not your friends, Lindsey. The Senate etiquette rules only run in one direction.
i said nothing about giving power to the UN. That's your own straw man. In fact, you're buying into all sorts of hyperbole. I mean, "gates of hell"? Come on.
I almost stopped reading at "nature shows that greenhouse gases do nothing…" But there are all kinds of talking points in there that you borrowed from disinformation sites like JunkScience. Saying that there is "increased snow and ice over the centers of Antarctica and Greenland" is a clever deception that passes for Fox News/Rush LImbaugh listeners. But the reality is that total snow and ice cover in both places is and has been disappearing. The rate of loss is far more than that gained in the center, and this increased precipitation is in line with model predictions. Guess I'll stop there. By the way, where did you copy and paste that from?
"Our contribution is that we are taking huge amounts of carbon stored underground in the liquid/solid phase and spewing it into the atmosphere"
WTF? Are you actually serious? Hey, their is old CO2-Faithful, there she blows…
Why don't you actually use your sides own math, 1 Trillion Tons = 1 degree of climate change (bogus but ok)
Ttotal output per year by man = 30 Billion Tons (which is high, but we will use the Goracle and company number)
Therefore it would take 33 years to forestall 1 degree of change if we all commited suicide (actually off gassing would be a bit of a problem, but details details)
So if your so into anthropomorphic CO2 climate change deferal program is ridiculous!
Cap-N-Tax is about redistributing money and grabbing power, only left wing drones spew this none-sense anymore. LMAO, it's not even global warming now, its "Climate Change" so you wankers can hedge your bets.
Still if you believe in this fair tale do feel free to off yourself, regardless of the veracity of your claims the world WILL be a better place without YOU
This guys been going downhill, it seems like hes on some medication or something. Senator youre no Joe Leiberman
Which disinformation site did you copy and paste that from?
The problem is not "warmth." The problem is the RATE OF CHANGE, which none of the denialists seem to address.
Linsdsay Graham is exactly what conservatives are talking about when we say its time to sweep the dead wood out of Congress. This clown has been skating by with mealy-mouthing every issue from judges to global warming and gets away with it. He leads folks to the stereotype that Southern men are stupid. Whoever keeps voting for this clown needs reeducation. He makes Arlen Specter look good.
OK, I'll select a couple of your talking points. "No warming in over a decade…" Well, that's because you start from 1998, the hottest year on record. Start in 1999 and you'll see differently. In any case, you need at least thirty years to analyze climate. Try not to cherry pick.
Hurricane activity? In 2005 denialists were denying a link between hurricanes and global warming. Now you're saying there is a link? Sounds like a case of "if it fits my belief….."
Solar cycles and "earth-sun geometry" the cause of all climate change? Where did you read that? Look up the Permian-Triassic extinction even 250 million years ago.
And, uh, peer-reviewed scientific journals don't "prove" anything. Science does not prove, it only disproves. It's called inductive reasoning.
I will agree that it is not known with certainty whether reducing our greenhouse gas emissions will dampen rapid global warming, but since we know that our greenhouse gas emissions are causing most of the warming, it's a safe bet to say that reducing our emissions will reduce warming.
If the conservative plan is solar and alternative energy, then why do so many so-called "conservatives" constantly ridicule these things? I agree that we need to be free from corporatism and I agree with many true conservative principles.
Ha, you go on about "independent research" but echo a common talking point distributed by Drudge, Fox, Rush and fellow denialists. You cherry pick evidence by starting in 1998, the hottest year on record. Since that year we have seen modest cooling, but start in 1999 and you'll see differently. Besides, you need at least 30 years of data to say anything about climate change.
"Relentless during Clinton Impeachment" ??? Close examination of the record indicates that is when Graham learned that fictitious soundbites for the unwashed masses, followed by closed door protection of power brokers, translates into power and wealth. To paraphrase Ricky Nelson…"he went to a garden party and learned his lessons well."
Uh, yes, I'm serious about the carbon. Try reading about the carbon cycle, my boy.
I won't bother with the rest of your Rush/Fox/Hannity talking points.
Early Greek philosophers warned that in any society that elects its rulers, an immoral populous will always elect immoral leaders. As history has proven again and again, immoral people are incapable of self government. We can either become a moral people again or embrace the coming tyranny. There are no other options. We deserve the government we elect!
BTW – why are radical progressives and uber-liberals with an R after their name called moderates?

February 11, 2009 Anthropological Global Warming History
John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel, presents an excellent history of the development of the political scam known as anthropological global warming: The Amazing Story Behind the Global Warming Scam. The Global Warming myth is less about science than about a confluence of political agendas mascarading as science. In the end, even the founder of the AGW scam had doubts:
There he had time to rethink Carbon Dioxide and the greenhouse effect. The man who had inspired Al Gore and given the UN the basic research it needed to launch its Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was having second thoughts. In 1988 he wrote two cautionary letters to members of Congress. He wrote, “My own personal belief is that we should wait another 10 or 20 years to really be convinced that the greenhouse effect is going to be important for human beings, in both positive and negative ways.” He added, “…we should be careful not to arouse too much alarm until the rate and amount of warming becomes clearer.”
It takes a lot more effort to be a Republican than to be a Democrat. True Republicans must have the courage of their convictions. For conservative politicians this becomes, over time, a struggle to maintain against the onslaught of liberal BS and corruption. So, when it becomes a struggle it's time to step aside and allow others to fight the fight. Step aside, Graham.
Talking points aside, we basically agree that it is not known if reducing gh gas will dampen the warming. As far as it being a safe bet, depends on who we trust to implement that bet.
My opinion is centralized government or global power (UN) won't work, it's corrupt, wasteful, slow and ineffective. The risk (and likely outcome) is tyranny AND no impact on greenhouse gas emissions.
A solution favoring the individual and/or small business is my choice. You are correct, the country club republicans do not favor such things as alternative power and prefer the status quo or the corporate approach (drill baby drill).
I believe there are common goals between the reduce carbon crowd and true conservatives. Off the self solutions today can free individuals from energy corporatism simultaneously reducing green house gasses. If conservatives are truly for individual freedom, this could be our patriotic duty; to see solar on every conservative roof top in the US. A badge of commitment to individual freedoms we conservatives hold so dear. Will it cost us, you bet but freedom was never cheap and it sure beats sending our sons to die in the desert for "FREEDOM".
P.S. Yes, I am familiar with the P-T ELE please forgive my over generalization by not including catastrophic events.
Do you believe what you just said?
The UN is a strawman?
The IPCC is a UN organization. Sounds like you see strawmen everywhere.
Which disinformation site did you summarize that from?
Stop looking at the hockeystick graph.
Jeez, look up logical fallacies and straw men, dude. You created a straw man fallacy by bringing up the UN.
TV weathermen are not ciimatoogists. Neither is Al Gore. I don't care what either says.
Thank you for that rational reply. True conservatives like you need to be heard more. I agree about centralized government. It's hard to get real solutions in this corporatocracy that runs both political parties.
How to watch Lindsey Graham on TV without throwing a brick through the screen : Get a piece of paper and a thick nib, black Sharpie. Print LIAR, WEENIE, the pejorative of your choice, on the paper and tape it just below the screen. The sign makes it a little easier to watch Graham (and other self dealing political jerks) when they appear on news programs. Who knows, the sign may stay on your TV permanently.
P.S.:Throwing Nurf Bricks works well, too, plus you get some exercise !
Lindsey Graham needs to exit stage left. He can be a CONsultant with Algore on the Cap n Trade scam. He needs to take John McCain, Steele and Gingrich with him. The paradigm has just shifted, and these clowns have become blasse'. It is time for fresh, new blood.
True conservative voices are rising up. The deniers as you call them are mostly concerned with the big centralized solution proposed by the warmers and attack the science in hopes of killing the solution.
As this exchange demonstrates, we are closer together then we realize.
Have a good evening.
SC kick th sjoke of a law maker out the office and save at least some face with the rest of the country. This guy is dangerous, wrong about just about everything and to stuopid to realize that you know it! Wake Up and save your Country from the idiots like him who wnat to control your life and your childrens lives. He know idead what to do just knows he wants more of the gravy he's gotten so far. Save our country! Kick this *&*%^$%$#& out office asap! elect someone who cares about you and won't sell you out for a few dollars more. wake up America!
Where you been all day. I was worried about you. I had to hold down the fort against that JPA envirowacko. Its unbelievable how inane these folks are that they truely believe in this AGW crap. ANY representative who even suggests that this lame arguemnt has merit needs to be show the door. Too many of them get sucked into these debates when the premise is falacious from the start, same with health care reform.
When we talk of Cap n Trade, we can't forget the first carbon Billionaire, Algore……
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/1651...
Just because you believe it to be a logical fallacy doesn't make it so. In order to be a straw man it must be illogical and you are the only one here spouting illogical statements. By the way, I didn't bring up the UN. Someone else did.
My statement stands, the IPCC is a UN organization. The IPCC is the ultimate power grab by the UN. Prove me wrong or just call it a strawman argument, your choice.
there is something seriously wrong with Lindsey Graham. In light of Doug Hoffman’s loss on Tueday, Graham is warning the GOP not to allow conservative “activists” to move the party too far to the right for fear moderate candidates will be driven away. When did conservative voters become “activists” and when did the GOP begin catering to candidates rather than voters? If the voters in NY-23 had been content with the “moderate” candidate GOP bosses chose for them, they wouldn’t have abandoned Scozzafava and supported Hoffman. And if the GOP had chosen an appropriate candidate for the NY-23 electorate in the first place, Hoffman’s candidacy wouldn’t have been necessary and the party’s candidate wouldn’t have ended up as a spoiler who endorsed the Democrat. There’s something terribly wrong with the GOP when one of its representatives feels comfortable attacking the party’s base. Lindsey and others like him are the problem with the GOP, not conservative voters. If there's no difference between Red and Blue, then it makes no difference which color we choose.
Actually this is a republic and it is NOT an elected representavives job to "vote what his constituents want." In a representative democracy the elected representatives owe us their best judgment. They can't be expetect to take a poll on every issue — that would make them mere clerks. Our job is to elect the best people we can and to then scrutinize their record and, if we don't agree, elect someone else.

My god your ignorance is remarkable. There is absolutely no disagreement about global warming among the world's most respected scientists. The only disagreement comes from scientists who are paid large sums of money by companies like Exxon who have a lot to lose if legislation is enacted. Your children, grandchildren and the next generation will never forgive people like you who spread mis-information.
