Rise of the Nanny State: Is There a Political Answer to Every Problem?
by Chuck DeVoreIs there a political answer to every problem? Most of my colleagues feel this is the case. I disagree.
In the past day, there was a spate of news articles about California’s trans-fat ban due to go into effect on New Year’s Day. I voted against this new law.

California has the 4th-highest unemployment rate, a $21 billion budget deficit, and a severe water shortage, so, what do lawmakers do? Pass a law that will fine restaurants $1,000 for using margarine in their foods.
One of the articles said:
Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine, criticized the new law as an example of nanny government with little beneficial impact.
“Not every human problem deserves a political solution,” he said. “That’s the fallacy my colleagues engage in.”
I’ve been criticized for voting against all sorts of nanny state bills that expand the police power of government in the name of making us safe from ourselves. I’ve often argued that we might as well pass a blanket bill outlawing stupidity and rudeness in California.
Since 2004, I and most of my Republican colleagues have opposed bills that:
- Mandate the kinds of light bulbs we use
- Outlawed the spanking of children by parents
- Banned texting in cars (we already had a law against reckless driving and this new law is near-impossible to enforce as dialing a number remains legal)
- Mandated costly home energy audits at the time of a house sale
And, if we had the time, the list would go on for pages.
Is it any wonder Forbes magazine ranks California as having the worst combination of taxes and regulations of any state in America?
Lest those in other, more fortunate venues chortle at California’s misfortune remember, for better or for worse, what starts in California often spreads to the nation. One of the chief vectors of California’s Big Government infection is Senator Barbara Boxer, who approves of all of this liberty-infringing, Big Government nonsense. In fact, she regularly mines the ore of California’s bad laws for inspiration for her own Big Government agenda in Washington.
Liberals are driven to burden us with law upon law for one overriding reason: the conceited will to control because they think they know what’s best for all of us. Putting a stop to this is a strong motivator for me as I work to unseat Sen. Boxer in 2010.

Like the man said, government is not the answer to the problem, it is the problem.
Started in the 70's. Now it is too far gone to rescue. Sooner or later California will go totally bankrupt and have to start over.
Need to legalize marijuana so the pain won't be as bad.
Boxer, Feinstein, Polosi, Waxman, Waters-need more be said
The US is accelerating towards a complete entitlement nation, which will mean its complete destruction, or as Obama calls it "Transformation"
If we dont put a choke collar on the left in the form of constitutional amendments then its every man for himself, in which case the majority of the left will be dog meat, so I guess there is a silver lining in every cloud.
Best of luck in your quest to unseat Ms. Boxer (oops I meant Senator Boxer). She has worked hard to have the honor of being thrown out of her seat.
Here in Ontario Canada is the exact same thing. Endless nanny state crapola, in September, they outlawed cell phones and texting while driving, now there are big signs on the buses…(in big capital letters) NO TEXTING..IT'S THE LAW!! (with the exclamation points!!). Meanwhile, people get shot every weekend, and Ontario is running a $25 BILLION deficit! with a population only 1/3 of California.
The bailout needed for California alone should serve as warning to those yearning for the nanny state. The producers cannot possibly make enough money to pay for all of the loony stuff the looters come up with. Like eating a trans fat-loaded donut…it's soo good when you eat it, but not so good after it sits for awhile. Turns out that funding embryonic stem cell research wasn't the answer either. So progressive and nuanced…and so financially irresponsible. Money doesn't grow on trees!
"I’ve been criticized for voting against all sorts of nanny state bills that expand the police power of government in the name of making us safe from ourselves. I’ve often argued that we might as well pass a blanket bill outlawing stupidity and rudeness in California."
Think how great the traffic would be in LA if you got rid of stupid, rude people.
I live in California. We elected Arnold because we thought he would be like his on screen persona, but alas he is really a RINO. I would bet that a person running on the platform of "I have balls of steel and I intend to clean out the scum in Sacramento" would get elected. They just need to convince the people that they intend to take a chain saw to the state bureaucracy, regulations and taxes; vow to make the state a business freindly state again so all will have a job; and lastly end the unions that control this state.
Can't remember who said it a long time ago, but…"More government is the answer to an awful strange question."
It's sad to see my home destroyed, but we still have guns right?(gun rights?)
I'm with you Chuck
I miss the old McD french fries….
The republicans are a third party to a party that doesn’t exist and soon the democrats will join them. The bill is in the mail and as always it is the working class people who will pay for it all.. The rich and the connected will buy their way out of paying full price as usual and I point to congress as proof. So the democrats will crash under the weight of their corruption.. If you want your country back then the parties must cease to exist..
Our country, states, and cities are broke one way another both parties are to blame. They structured the laws of the land to protect their parties and thus have become government parties and if you wear the uniform of the R or D then you are responsible for the theft of freedom, because of your ACTION and support gave them approval for that theft.
When this country learns that our liberty was stolen one tax, one regulation, one manipulation at a time and all in the name of the public good or is it for government good or is it for party good, they will know it was the government parties that killed the promise of America.
"We" didn't elect SchwarzenKennedy! Maybe you did. I voted for Tom McClintock, the real conservative and possibly the smartest man in CA government. Reason enough why he wasn't elected!
Mr. DeVore, nice to see you here! Come back often!
Don't get the concept of issuing more laws, when they refuse to enforce the ones on the books now!! WTF is wrong with people, who keep voting in the same morons year, after year!! HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!! 2010 has GO TO be better than 2009!!!
I miss lard.
"I’ve been criticized for voting against all sorts of nanny state bills that expand the police power of government in the name of making us safe from ourselves."

That is beyond sad in America.
p.s. Please, please, please defeat Ma'am Boxer
I miss liberty.
you forgot Jerry Brown – keeping the world safe for ACORN.
I'll sign that ballot initiative petition!
This is why the proposition to deny unions dues from going to political purposes is so important. Those dues are what prop up the worst of the worst in Kalifornia. Check out unplugthe politicalmachine.org and help out , get involved. Its the best first step to draining the swamp.
How can a republican call himself a conservative when they use the POWER and Wealth of government to maintain their power. They used it to silence the people. In my book that is socialism. I know your excuse 2 out 3 ain’t bad or something to that nature.
Let us not forget their fear tactic, help us or BO will put us in chains. Sorry I am fitted with chains you put on and I and millions like me will no longer accept choosing between the price of that chain. So I suggest you join us and fix the system or it your fault you don’t like the color of your chains.

But I want someone from the government to tuck me in at night, and read me nite-nite stories : (
My one-year-old is allergice to milk, eggs, and soy. margarine is the only butter substitute that contains none of those. I'm glad I don't live in CA.
You people need to realize that you now live in a totalitarian country, with each new "crisis" we lose more and more. Obama agriculture announced they are returning 59 million acres of farmland back to nature by 2050. Your food supply is being intentionally destroyed. Just like the Ukrainian genocide where 11 million people were intentionally murdered through starvation. The bolsheviks confiscated all the farmers food and let the people slowly starve to death. Coincidentally many people in control of our country are direct descendents of Bolsheviks. These people are like clockwork. if you research history or atleast the non-revisionist form, you will see all to clearly. These subhumans are direct descendents of Satan and the only thing they care about is killing most of you and then enslaving the ones remaining.

me too, also origional coke
Re: DumbQuestion' s note above… it appears Mr. DeVore did accept contributions from labor unions in the 2006 cycle for assembly- not a huge amount, but around $8,000 or about 3% of the total reported. I hope he holds to the truth and takes Boxer to the wood shed.
One can gauge the freedom of a country by the number of laws on the books. As such, the country with the least number of laws is the country where the people are the most free.
just be patient crap laws started in california always seem to trickle down to the rest of us
Government created the transfat problem in the first place, then rides in on a white horse to save us from it. And they will continue to exacerbate the problem with their ridiculous "food pyramid" that insists even healthy, natural fats will KILL YOU DEAD. And don't forget your twelve servings of "heart healthy whole grains"…how's that working for you so far?
Harry Browne had it right when he said government breaks your leg, then hands you a crutch and says, "Aren't you lucky? If it weren't for us, you wouldn't be able to walk."
I foolishly grew up beleiving laws were supposed to protect you from me and me from you not me from myself and you from yourself when personal responsibility is discarded chaos ensues
No, I didn't vote for Arnold. I too voted for Tom McClintock along with contributing to his campaign. My reference to we was the state, not me personally. I also think Tom is one of the good ones.
The two party system works? Then why are we standing up to our necks in a pile of lies?
There are few things more sacred to a republic than representation. The one man one vote and all it’s citizens are represented equally promise. Why isn’t voter fraud hounded out of existence? Voter fraud is a direct assault on our republic, it can kill a nation. There is nothing more fraudulent than gerrymandering and it’s creation of an artificial majority based on party affiliation not representation to silence the dissention of we the people. It is one of the reason our congress does not listen to we the people. Gerrymandering is a creation of the government parties to protect their power and to turn representation into re-election.. The parties can not speak of freedom until districts are based on representation not party affiliation.
Oh, good! I should have known one of "them" wouldn't be posting to this site! Sorry about assuming!
Leaf lard does make the best pie crust ever!
If it happens that she is defeated I think they should install one of those wiley e. coyote type springs under her seat on her last day with a big red button that says "Push Me" you know she would.
I really hope everyone gets involved and unmasks the BS candidates and helps to promote the best that we can find.
You're right. I probably wont' have that long to wait.
I love legislators who think people are too stupid to make informed decisions about what they want to eat.
Those happy california cow farmers must be laughing it up. Margarine tends to be much cheaper than butter.
So true!
Over Thanksgiving, I asked my elderly Aunt Sandra the secret behind her amazing pies we were all enjoying. Her eyes twinkled and in a conspiratorial voice she told me: lard. I need to find a source.
Farm Sanctuary: [...]Farm Sanctuary’s most common approach is to lobby against livestock farmers among legislators and voters in states where little or no opposition exists. It conducted a sustained campaign to restrict hog farming in Florida, despite the fact that their initiative targeted only two farmers in the entire state. In California and New York, Farm Sanctuary pushed for wholesale bans on the production of foie gras (fatty duck or goose liver) in order to shut down a single family farm in each state. Most absurdly, in New Jersey the group successfully lobbied for a ban on the most common veal-farming techniques — even though there isn’t a single veal farm in the Garden State.
In the absence of organized local opponents, Farm Sanctuary’s anti-farming campaigns have gained momentum with these state-level victories, SETTING PRECEDENTS for future campaigns. Undterred by its electoral fraud convictions in Florida (detailed below), Farm Sanctuary has turned its attention to a more significant state in its hog war — Arizona. According to the USDA’s Economic Research Service, pork is the 11th largest agricultural commodity in the state. By contrast, hogs do not even break the top 25 in Florida…..
Thank you for hateful thumb and no debate.. I know your excuse is you simply disagree and it was not worthy of a response I hear that a lot on liberal sites. You can make the thumbs rain down all you want, but it doesn’t make wrong your silence says that I am right. I am willing to debate. I have no problem using you to make my points, so the readers who pass by can form their own opinion. My post sits in the middle of a republican love fest or is it a democratic love fest, I get confused, because I always face the same responses, I usually say government party love fest after all it is more accurate. Please save your hate for it was the parties that turned their back on WE the PEOPLE. It is on you to prove a party is worth saving.
….So how are these activists able to push through laws restricting agriculture? On top of the fact that its proposals are always floated in states with few potential opponents, Farm Sanctuary uses ballot initiatives to sidestep state legislatures. And while it’s vulnerable to activist fraud, the ballot initiative process sports a feature even more useful to Farm Sanctuary: the vast majority of voters will know next to nothing about what they are voting on. "California has the 4th-highest unemployment rate, a $21 billion budget deficit, and a severe water shortage, so, what do lawmakers do? Pass a law that will fine restaurants $1,000 for using margarine in their foods."
Or find new ways to spend money we don't have to serve non-essential purposes, all so the legislator can look good back home, such as my favorite: Assemblywoman Fiona Ma's successful struggle to create a blueberry commission (with requisite six-figure salaries). Because, as we all know, blueberries are critical to California's recovery: http://tinyurl.com/y8zwjxs .
Good luck in your race with Barbara "Check Bouncer" Boxer, Chuck. We need you there before she can decide Ma had a great idea and blueberries are a pressing national issue.
….What 's Congress doing about these groups, who are setting laws via fraudulent ballots? Do they even know they exist and what their motives are…? You'll note David Fenton is always around – where there's money to be made this marxist can't resist – but it'll all in the name of "caring for humanity" therfore okay to put the little people out of business. Remember the Apple Scare – Apel? David Fenton still boasts about it. These people are truly very sick and need to be stopped! Setting a precedent against guns is what Obama tried when he was a director of the Joyce Foundation. He paid for people to write fraudelent papers/books as there wasn't a precedent for the supreme count to review! Not unlike climate-care. They're hoaxsters! We've got a lot of catching up to do and need people in Congress who know exactly what's going on…
Me too! Happy New Year wldbil!
There wouldn't be any traffic…..
People who run to the govt. to solve every problem cause TAXES to go thru the roof!!!
I live 20 minutes from Chicago and avoid it like the plague because of the insane taxes and even crazier politicians. I will NEVER go to California for much the same reason. I will not help fund government of, by and for the insane where I can avoid it.
If we want an immediate change we should insist on a campaign finance system where only real, identifiable individual registered and eligible voters could contribute to those candidates for whom they may cast a vote. No business, union, PAC or other group to hide behind. All donations exceeding $40.00 must be reported within 24 hours. Any campaign money left after the election is donated to eligible charities or surrendered to the body of government to which elective office was sought or won. Census counts only ACTUAL heads. Redistricting via computer program with regular shapes required when drawing districts. ALL Government raises tied to actual average private sector wage growth (%) – no growth for me, no raise for you. They live by the same laws they pass for us….
I could go on, and probably most of you could too, but I'm going to stop before I burst a blood vessel….
May the door hit her squarely in the ass as she is kicked out of office.
Right — because only large corporations should be allowed to make big campaign contributions.
Anyone can make contributions. The problem is mandatory dues and deductions from those public union dues to be used for political purposes rather than allowing union memebers to decide to whom and by how much they wish to contribute. And you do not see any conflict in public union executives ( yes, executives) deciding to whom to dole out political largesse when the unions are essentially taxpayer supported employers? And I suppose the reign of unions in California have only had a positive effect on the state. And have you been to Detroit lately and seen the legacy the unions left and are still leaving there? And how many jobs do unions actually CREATE? And finally, you are kidding yourself if you don't think unions are large corporate entities in which their constituents have even less say than the average work in any corporation.
Unfortunately, after Janet Napolitano's bedtime 'stories' (like the "system worked" – what fiction!) you won't sleep for a week….
I have a source for you! Go to any mexican market in your area. They sell it by the bucketful!
P.S. Its labeled as "mantica" (sp?)…
Its understandable though Galt… **shares my duct tape** Just wrap it a little tighter and maybe we can make it! lol
Instead of being divided into Reps and Dems we should look at being divided into individualist and collectivist. That might make it easier to "see" who the bad guy is. The group think people are in both parties.
Gracias y Feliz Ano Nuevo!
LOL I hope you said Happy New Year, so Happy New Year to you as well!
OH, NO! Not that lard! It's been hydrogenated. You either have to order leaf lard from a butcher or mail order it. The stuff in the grocery stores is totally processed!
Uh, are you talking to yourself???
No one will play. You must be a republican, since I heard those words from them before. Let’s entertain the readers and spread your wisdom across these pages.
Barack Obama as the NANNY in CHIEF, does not like the idea that the American citizen should be "owed" free and clear of debt! All citizens are to be psychologically , emotionally and economically indebted to him and all the far left democrats by one means or another! But the Founding Fathers and the Constitution want people to be free! I will let you decide for yourself who the TRAITORS are here! I my opinion though America has TRAITORS living in the White House and we need to make a call for a TRAITOR EXTERMINATOR!
oh well.. tap ..tap…tap…
What is more sacred to this country than the constitution?. .It’s called freedom. Men and women sacrifice their bodies and lives for it. Is it just all a lie or does it mean something. What is the promise of America? Who is being held accountable? How can a man be free when closes his eyes to corruption? Why do so many accept the lies of those that seek to take our freedom? The party system has enslaved your country and you still accept them????
Actually, since the parties are long established and supported my pluralities in this country, it is up to you prove that they are NOT worth saving.
Your ability to repeat words like "freedom" and capitalize words like "PEOPLE" do not equal the ability to use logic.
Exactly.
Eat right, exercise….die anyway.
That's right folks….die anyway.
So all you vegans, nature lovers, organic junkies and the like please feel free to pretend you're living in the 18th century and only eat or use what "nature intended." Leave the rest of us alone.
In 100 years, you can tell us how wrong we meat eating, SUV driving, uncaring, hateful conservatives were.
Oh wait, you'll be dead too.
So..is that "hope and change" or "rope and chains?"
If by "duct tape" you mean I should wrap my hands around another beer, I think I will!
DK,
Don't knock organic. I went from feeling my age to feeling 21 again after eating almost all organic for a few months. I get you point and I agree- Gov't get the F#@& out of MY personal business! Not tryin' to pick a fight, just sayin…
sorry you are wrong.. but I will any way. 40% consider themselves independent according to fox news.
40% of voter cut out of the system and they still are forced to pay the parties for that exclusion.
sorry to repeat myself. but you ignored an important point.
There are few things more sacred to a republic than representation. The one man one vote and all it’s citizens are represented equally promise. Why isn’t voter fraud hounded out of existence? Voter fraud is a direct assault on our republic, it can kill a nation. Annie,
Thanks, I bookmarked the second link for further reading. See my post a few down from here about campaign finance. Maybe some ideas can be floated for cracking down on fraudsters like the ones you exposed here. We are going to have to break these anti-liberty groups one by one until they lose their influence.
don't start crying on your key board. I will help you. …. the next step is to say gerrymandering is constitutional.
My reply is so is abortion doesn’t make right. And we both know the parties appointed party members to sit on the court.. Who knew they would declare it legal.????
DK.. just because respond doesn't mean refuted anything.. so far I get more passion from a democrat.
Damn right!! He made the most sense of anyone during that campaign. We sure coulda used him as Gov.
It's just more of the liberal religion. Lots of "Thou shall nots" and hell to pay if you break the rules.
dk … just because you typed..How long will the government parties live if all dictatorial un representative laws and taxpayer money were removed? Just a matter of hours. I guess the parties don’t believe in capitalism or the free market, they clearly don’t believe in freedom.. I know your government parties won and America lost. So the parties are free to use the power and wealth of the government. Isn’t that what BO is doing and you crying about it.
We need to hear more about Tom McClintock. This year I pledge I am only supporting candidates who are real conservatives. The age of the RINO is gone.
Will they have border patrols to catch Lard smugglers?
The Muslims don't do lard. I suspect they are favs of progressives.
EXCELLENT Idea!
More PLEEZ
My IBEW, local electrician's union has a form for those who do not want any portion of their dues to be used for political purposes. That's probably the case for other Unions.
Seed-Gate is on the horizon. We are not able to plant crops which plant produces seed to use for the next crop.
Our seeds are hybrid(s) and manufactured. This means that it is controlled. And, the way things are going, there will be much more control, possibly rationing. The price of food will be going up.
Those that worship the creation, instead of The Creator have a huge price to pay in their future…According to
Public Law 97-280, 96 Statute 1211, October 4th, 1982: "The Word of God is Law"!
As the struggle of life always goes – the "have nots" will always look for an easy way to take from the "haves". The politicians have preyed upon the uneducated to get elected, then guise everything as "leveling the playing field" or "looking out for the misfortunate" or whatever kind of BS they can spew forth in sound bites. And each and every person in this country considers themselves "have nots" to a certain degree and belongs to some group either officially or unofficialy. All the while, these clowns we call our political leaders are stuffing money in their own pockets, living lavish lifestyles, jet setting around the world, throwing out candy to the uneducated crowds who cheer them own like they are royalty. I'm of the mindset the easiest way to become rich in this country is no longer through industrious hard work but rather by becoming a politician.
I'm sure the special interest group "I'm fat because they made me eat it" was responsible for the influence of this trans-fat law. There isn't a person one who takes total responsibility for their own actions. If you sit on your duff, each greasy cheeseburgers all day, then dine out on pizza, italian foods, pour a half bottle of ranch dressing on your salad because you're on a "diet", and swell up like a dead raccoon who's laid for a week in the heat along the shoulder of a road – why must the rest of us be subjected to a law which will undoubtably drive up costs so you can claim – "see, the stuff they put in their food made me fat".
Freedom reigns on New Years!!! (at least in South America) I live in CA but we're traveling in Brazil for a month to visit the in laws. I guess the best way to describe the city is organized chaos. I'm sure there is some rhyme to their reason but it's alluded me up to this point. I just spent new years with over a million crazy brazilians on the beach in South Rio and it was absolutely amazing. No cops in riot gear, no pat down with metal detectors. No open container laws!!! Fireworks going off like it was 1776, tons of live music, people dancing, singing, generations of families getting together to bring in the new year. And when the party was over people packed up their trash and went home. This one experience really opened my eyes to how backwards things have become back in the states (or at least in CA). We live in the 'land of the free' but yet our 'freedom' seems more like a cage. For all the problems Brazil has they get an A+ for personal freedoms and individualism. It's 2010 fellow freedom lovers, it's time to take America back!!!
"Putting a stop to this is a strong motivator for me as I work to unseat Sen. Boxer in 2010."
If I lived in California, I would vote for you.
thebarbarian
I can agree with the need to eliminate Gerrymandering!
We should all register Democrat, vote for their worst losers in the Primaries. Then in the General Elections vote against them, that ought to mess with their minds. Don't give them any money though.
Hello ginger. Great to talk to you. It is time kill the party system for it forced this crap upon us. .. The parties have stolen my freedom I want it back. After these months of talking and dealing with parties members, too many are like rich spoiled children who think the world bows at their feet. Even in these trying times they have proven to be un trust worthy allies. They basically say my way or the highway so I am taking the high road no matter what it costs the parties must cease to exist.
This is the year of the independent, I am no longer interested in helping the republicans defeat the democrats, because they have proven to me they are not interested helping us change the electoral system into a true representative system. The party members want to push people away then let them die lonely.
That's right, people die whether we have health care reform or not. As a matter of fact, it's probably true that more people die with Health Insurance than those who do not have health insurance. Take care of our Soul & Spirit 1st of all.
There would be very little population.
Go Chuck. Go. You make a change here. You got my vote.
Most "problems" are not even real. And these fake problemsare mostly solved by giving more power and money to the government.
What I just heard on Fox News this morning by this guy named Gerald Celetine (sp) predicted a gigantic CRASH about the end of 2010, which corresponded with a friend of mine, Gary Miller, ICY in Arkansas, who told me that 2011 would make 1929 and the 30's and, FDR's RAW (New) Deal look like a walk in the park! While Gary gave the calculated time according to the Bible's time-table for the blessings and curses of Israel(He gave this to the ICY in 2008, I think), Fox News gave it by what our government currently is doing economically to destroy our Government to —bring on a "MARXIST SAVIOR(?). One thing is certain, we're soon to go into a "planned" gigantic depression caused by "evil" politicians! "Monopoly" money is no more real than the game monopoly!
I'll believe that "change" can occur, maybe(?) only when the 2011 election is allowed!
Yes, so true "thebarbarian," and it has systematically been occurring since the beginning of our country! I've been saying over and over, the most important "founding fathers" e.g., Washington, Adams, Jefferson, etc. belonged to a "secret society" which actually worshiped Lucifer and the "commoner" Franklin, was actually a member of the Illuminati that developed the "New World Order" concept under Lucifer in May of 1776! by the way, Weishaupt's best friend was Karl Marx, also a member of the Illuminati! Adam Weishaupt invented the Illuminati's New World Order" under Lucifer! It's history. Although I've known this stuff foe awhile now, it's currently being shown on the history channel too!
DumbQuestion, another reason why this proposition will never occur!!!
StanH, they'll kill you before they ever do that!
Trotsky, You are right on the mark!!! As I have been saying, Adam Weishaupt, the creator of the "New World Order's" Illuminati, best friend was Karl Marx, also a member of the Illumnati, the "New World Order," under Lucifer. This also was true of the "commoner" from Boston, Ben Franklin, who it is written of, the American Government would have never got past go without Franklin! Warning: By 2011, there will be a depression that will make the '29 crash and the FDR thirties look like a walk in the park! By the way, America was economically turning around in 1933, but FDR's New (RAW) Deal, brought on the "Big" Depression! Thanks, FDR & Hoover! Thanks, Obama and Bush!
Have to been following all the Roman "poisoned babies" story lately?
Too late! We're going into the Depression of Great Depressions by the end of 2010 and through 2011 for sure!
The only reason that our "Secret Society" founding fathers had so few laws was that the American common citizen would have burned them at the stake for doing what is being done by politicians today (they had just escaped such rulers in Europe)! It almost got out in 1790 in New York State (of all places), according to the history channel, but this person suddenly disappeared and his story died with him, it appears! Yes, Satan is the ruler of this world until the one chosen to replace him comes on the scene! We'll all know what's real at that time and what is not!
damaged justice, have you ever been to the U.N. and seen the "Gigantic" white horse inside the building as you walk in it? No not a dove, but a "White horse," like the one described in the Bible!!! I was a child when I saw it, but it blew my mind. To me, it looked two or three stories high! Remember, I was just a child, but it was overwhelmingly large! I was told then, but the U.N. will never get that kind of Power, well I think that will soon be determined!
I live in Ontario as well, and I can tell you I think it is about time we put laws in place that cut down the number of accidents, I am on the road full time, and witness first hand the carelessness of people texting or talking on the phone, please tell me why you think my safety or the safety of others are not important?
Yes, so true "thebarbarian," and it has systematically been occurring since the beginning of our country!
