California accounts for only 12% of the nations population
California accounts for 32% of all welfare recipients in the United States
Every year 100,000 productive tax paying residents leave the state only to be replaced by illegals that consume funds from social programs and birth on average two to three children at a cost of $10,000 to $15,000 each.
California public sector unions contribute 2% of their salary to state legislature campaigns in return for increased pay, pension and medical benefits at the private sectors expense
Many public sector employees retire at age 50 to 55 on 90% of their last year salary
Retiring public sector employees cash in vacation time, get newer employees to give them more hours in an attempt to bump up their last year pay as much as possible since this last year determines their pension benefits.
There is a list of thousands of public sector pensioners that receive in excess of $100,000 per year
Some retiring public sector employees retire at 50 to 55 then go to work for a different state agency, work for the minmum amount of time to qualify for a second pension – known as double dipping. Both of these pensions receive cost of living adjustments and other lavish benefits.
Surprise! Here's the dollars and cents. Government cannot create jobs more efficiently than the private-sector. Every government-sector job comes at the cost of multiple private-sector jobs and even California must bow to the reality of the laws of mathematics.
I guess the dims in the CA legislature will never learn anything more than Keynesian economics, how to lose jobs and industry, and how to beg BO to bail them out. Trust me on this BO will not let the CA electoral votes go under in bankruptcy. And who will absorb the progressive debt? The rest of the US taxpayers.
What truly surprises me is the amount of money that can be raised for pelosi, boxer, feinstein and Stark; yet CA is bankrupt. Go figure.

They moved a lot of the social services out of the city of San Diego and into El Cajon. I can officially say that El Cajon the community to the south of me is an arm pit. If you go to the malls there they are full of people speaking something besides English as their first language, the restrooms are nasty, the parking lots look like people pulled their garbage out of their cars and left it there. The biggest indicator of a high illegal population is the number of dirty baby diapers laying in a parking lot. When you start seeing that, you know your illegals are increasing.

(His father/my grandfather was often afoul of the law) He gave up an athletic scholarship in order to continue to support his mother, brother, and two sisters. I am preparing for either Civil War or Revolution. In November, some one has to lose. If the Republicans do not take back the house with fiscal conservatives, we will be looking strait down the barrel of socialism and I think at that point people will have had enough, we will have to revolt in one way or another. If the Dims loose, can you imagine the outrage and retaliation we are going to face? It will be the Tea Parties fault and the Dims have loons on their side. The Dims will not take kindly to the Conservatives taking over and I think they will try to secede or at the very least put us into a race war.

California has an economic output similar to that of Italy. So 12% of the nation's population produces a hell of a lot of economic output. Or at least it did before the Recession. No doubt about it, California's golden days are in trouble if the government doesn't get off the backs of its' citizens.
