Chicago Machine Democrats Deserve NAACP Condemnation, Not Tea Party
by Cedra CrenshawAs the NAACP prepares to condemn the tea party movement for phantom “explicitly racist behavior”, the Department of Justice and the NAACP overlook actual instances of explicitly racist behavior by the New Black Panther Party. Blatant disregard for actual racist behavior shows the NAACP to be nothing more than a tool of hard leftists; hard leftists who are intent on creating exploitable divisions.
I know from personal experience that the tea party movement is mainstream. Americans of all ethnic, economic and political backgrounds have been rallying and running for office because they want a government that works for the people. I am one of those Americans-and I am Black.
After being slated as a candidate in Illinois’ 43rd State Senate District, I gave my first public speech at a tea party rally and have spoken at several more since then.
With just two weeks to gather signatures, dozens of people from the tea party movement circulated my petitions. I turned in over 2100 signatures in just 19 days to get on the ballot.
The support I have received from the tea party movement since getting on the ballot has been overwhelmingly positive. Supporters have donated their time and money. They have participated in precinct walks, protests, phoning, and they even packed a hearing room to support me.
The hearing room is significant because one group of people have not been supportive of my ballot access – Chicago Machine Democrats. The Chicago Machine unleashed their top election lawyer, Michael Kasper, to unjustly knock me off the ballot on a party line vote by the Will County Board of Elections. My team has appealed the decision in circuit court and we are confident the ruling will be overturned. I have yet to hear from the NAACP about this injustice to my campaign and the voters of Illinois’ 43rd State Senate District.
I encourage the NAACP to confront and condemn the explicit racist behavior of groups like the New Black Panther Party and to acknowledge the racial politics played by the Chicago Machine Democrats.
Chicago Machine Democrats claim to be the party of diversity and inclusion, yet if you are a Black, conservative Republican mother, with a professional background in accounting, supported by the tea party movement, Chicago Machine Democrats do not encourage this type of diversity. Instead they unjustly knock you off the ballot and then talk about the lack of diversity in the Republican party and the tea party movement. The NAACP plays right into this scam.
I encourage NAACP members and convention delegates to attend a tea party event and get first hand knowledge about the true purpose of the tea party movement: limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty. The NAACP needs to leave the racism where it belongs – with the Chicago Machine Democrats.

I have been sitting back checking the site and its post after post on BG about the NAACP. You are all falling for this tactic of the radicals. You are letting them control the narrative as I spoke on yesterday. Its very simple they are calling foul that the TP movement etc is racist, ok fine give them their bitching moment. You wouldn't be the first Republican minority member to be targeted by the Democrats. Think of the Bush (both Jr. and Sr.) Supreme Court nominations and any minority in their cabinet or administration. I get attacked by friends when I link a pro tea party article on my facebook page, I can't imagine how much flack a member of a minority would get to stand up and be counted if he/she agrees with any group right of center. It reminds me of growing up in a small town and how I was ostracized when I did well on a test or final grade for a class. Some people just try to vent their own frustrations or inadequacies on people that do well in a certain area, this is a symptom of insecurity and jealousy. I think it is appropriate that the head of the NAACP is named Ben Jealous! By no means am I trying to say that they are all jealous or insecure many of these people are much more maniacal and are using this anger/insecurity for political or financial gains. Power is their ambition and stirring up racial tensions is their tool. If everybody were to get along there would be no need for their cushy jobs or their political positions, they would rather tensions to continue and their people to stay repressed. People on the political right want to reward hard work, and our country to grow together, prosperity for all with no one group being sucked into the pitfalls of a welfare state and other demoralizing socialist programs. These programs, once they get you, are very difficult to break free from both physically and psychologically; they are designed that way so as to keep you stuck because without members they have no reason to exist.
The gnashing teeth from the left and the NAACP prevent them from ever being accountable. They are like rabid dogs who have been cornered by the dog catcher (Mainstream America). They only know how to lash out because thier disease (Hatred of white America) cannot be cured. No antibiotic will cure them of thier pent up hatred. The feebleminded may believe they can change but in the racists mind thier thoughts and beliefs are set in stone.

What do such baseless accusations and insinuations say about the content of the NAACP's character? They are calling the Tea Party movement racist because the movement, like the country, is predominantly white? Are we to assume then that the NAACP believes white people are, by default, racist? It must otherwise there would be no need for the NAACP. The group's very existence perpetuates the culture of race and it's side effect known as racism.
I live in the 43rd. If the appeal isn't won, be sure to register with the Will County Clerk of Court as a write-in candidate and let's go win this seat.
AJ Wilhelmi did some deals with Blago to help him. We cannot afford him. We need some non-lawyers to shake up the system and get it back to a citizen government. Let's have some real transparency in our state government.

Also, to those who don't know, this tactic of preventing or removing an opponent from the ballot is exactly how Obama got elected to the Illinois senate. I believe there were three other cadidates (all black I think, and possibly better known in the district/community where they were running). I think you should be flattered, Cedra. The NAACP hasn't advanced people of any color for years except those that are in the top tier of the organization. How sad it is that this once great organization became the thing that does exactly the opposite of its purpose. Bless you and your run for office. I am with you all the way to the White House!
Being as far right as someone else is far left still leaves out 52% of the people in this country. I'm not sure how that's going to bring us together. Seems like we live in a world now where there is a complete lack of common sense. It's all about me. If you want to impress me as politician and/or a leader then show me how you can bring people together and build a solution that we can all agree on. Otherwise you simply are PART OF THE PROBLEM AND NOT THE SOLUTION, tea party or not.
