Dem Clerk Who Disenfranchised 1300 Military Voters Has a History of Voter Suppression
by Capitol ConfidentialRobert Delaney, the Illinois Election Official who refused to mail 1,300 Military Absentee ballots for 14 days beyond the Federal deadline has a history of disenfranchising voters. In 2009 Delaney, an active Democrat, was sued by a group of citizens in St. Clair County who claimed he used his office to disenfranchise hundreds of voters in a predominantly African-American community.
According to the complaint, hundreds of letters were mailed to residents of Alorton, IL. a community with a 97% African-American population. The letters informed the recipients that they had to attend a hearing or their voter registration would be canceled, in addition any voter who had already cast an absentee ballot would have their ballot rejected if they did not attend the hearing. The letters were mailed just two weeks before the April 9, 2009 election. One of the recipients was Kenneth Chatman, a Trustee of the City of Altoron who was up for re-election. Chatman and several other plaintiffs, including elderly and bed-ridden individuals, filed a lawsuit.
On April 3, U.S Magistrate Judge Clifford Proud issued an emergency injunction against Delaney and stopped him from suppressing minority voters.
This year, his target is the members of the military who are fighting for our country. Regarding the current inquiry by the Justice Department into Delaney’s handling of the military ballots he said:
“I really don’t care what the Department of Justice thinks.”
It remains to be seen if the Department of Justice will step in to protect the military voters in Illinois, or if they will continue to protect Democrats who suppress voters.

I've been reading from various sites stories on how the democrats have been stealing votes. I found this one and it helps explain their playbook……
What follows is at least part of the play book the criminals have been using.
1. One thing you should do is check the signature on your absentee voter registration card on file. Make sure it matches. This is a very common thing for the criminals to do. They replace your signature with their own handwriting. This makes your ballot not count when it is scanned. They then can fill out a new ballot, any way they want and scan it and it will count, because their signature is now the one recognized by the machine!
If possible you should take their absentee ballot with you to the polls. Tear it up in front of the elections officials and then ask for a regular ballot on election day and vote. Voting on election day has a big advantage. Don’t be lazy! Go to the polls! There is often information that comes out between the time absentee ballots arrive, and voting day, so don’t be locked into your absentee ballot.
2. Go to your County board of elections office and ask for the disk containing the History of Voter Data for the last election. Look for more than 2 voters registered at the same address. Look for similar names, same address. Look for same phone number used at a different address. Some times you will see as many as 30 or more registered to vote at the same address! Some times, the address may be a store front. The Elections office must give you this disk. They sometimes charge for it, but they must let you have it if you explain it is for research purposes. They do not want the data going out to marketeers.
3. On election day look for cars and vans unloading several voters at one time. These are some times illegal’s sometimes not, and they go from precinct to precinct and back again voting as often as they can in one day. Illegal’s are sometimes lied to or intimidated into doing this. The SEIU and United Farm Workers, and other union people have been known to do this. Record the license number and time, and see if the same van and same people show up at the same poll during the day. It is illegal to video the polling place, but you can video the birds on top of the polling place or the dog sitting in front of it. If your video of birds or dogs happens to include voter vans, well… Multiple poll watchers with camcorders or digital cameras or camera phones can compare videos to see if the same dogs and birds are showing up at multiple polling places. Small, very discreet cameras are now available and are inexpensive. They can be concealed on the mirror of cars or in bushes. Hmm, maybe two camcorders in the bush is worth one in the hand..?
4. There are two types of voters. High propensity and low propensity. High propensity voters vote no matter what, rain or shine. They know which ones vote conservative and which one do not. If you are registered as a conservative and high propensity they will try to negate your ballot. As mentioned before by changing your signature on your registration card.
If you are a low propensity voter they will wait on election night just before the polls close and they check to see if you have not voted, then they will fill a ballot out for you — their way. of course… They know you will not show up, so they send in a person the last hour and no ID is required. That is why the Democrats will not allow ID Check at the polls.. I.D. to cash a check yes. …board an Airplane yes. …Vote..? Don’t be silly! They may need to vote for you! Their way!
5. Close vote count. When they are counting votes and it goes on for a long time, they lock up the ballots and send every one home for the night. Yup, you guessed it: later that night, they return and take the conservative ballots and dump them into the general population ballots already counted, replacing them with new liberal ballots like they did in Minnesota. This is why the polling place must be observed 24 hrs a day during the vote count.
These are just some of the tactics the Democrats use. Now you know why some districts are known as “safe” districts for candidates. Now you know why some Candidates go to bed thinking they won an election only to find out the next day that they lost. Now you know why all of a sudden, several thousand liberal votes are reported in a county, yet not one, or only a few conservative votes.
I'm sure Eric Holder will get to the bottom of this. Probably give this guy a Freedom Medal!

j/k…no, the DOJ will not step in to protect military voters. After all, the common view is that they are mostly conservative voters, so that will not help the D party. However, if it were a given that military voters were overwhelmingly Democratic voters, nothing would stop those ballots from going out, and being counted when they came back. Maybe even twice…

For those that can't actually "work" at the polls the day of the election, you can be a poll watcher…..
"The rules regarding poll watchers vary by county…You need not be representative of a party or candidate, but you must contact the County Registrar Office before election day to get permission". Use the above information to contact them for instructions…
"ORGANIZE NOW"
Here from ConstitutionalVoices.org (Heather Gass) how ballots are "stuffed" at polling places….
** Most ballot stuffing occurs near or during the closing of the polls:
** Arrive at 7:30 or 7:45…introduce yourself as a poll watcher
(you don't need to be with an organization, party, candidate, etc…..a private citizen can do it>)
** Minor stuffing: people who examine the "roster" outside the polling location looking for someone who did not vote yet, then going in and voting under that name…Careful, because some people look at it to determine if they are at the right polling location…
** Major stuffing: this happens right after 8:00 pm…and it requires 2 or more poll workers colluding….The poll workers literally will start voting with unused ballots and mark off names on the roster of those who did not show up….They won't do this if you are there watching…Wait long enough until they get a printout from the voting machines….once they do that, then no more votes can be counted…..
You are allowed to observe the closing procedures….If there is going to be collusion, it will occur right at 8 pm… they cannot wait too long because the voting machines have a "Time of Day" timer….Voting is allowed after 8pm, but those voters must be in line before 8pm…So, it is highly suspect if there are ballots cast 15 minutes after the close. ..with nothing in between 8:00 and 8:15….Call your Secretary of State if you see anything or have any questions…

Let's ensure that the next legislation about ensuring military voting includes a clause that says the penalty for delayed ballots, or any other vote suppression scheme, is the INVALIDATION of ALL VOTES cast in the jurisdiction that caused the problem.

Same for Westchester and Kings counties in NY! Take the votes away from the Westchester and NYC libs and we'll get justice for the military that protects them.

According to the U.S. Justice Department, some counties in Illinois may have missed the deadline for mailing absentee ballots to members of the military and other overseas American voters as part of a new federal overseas voting law.
At least one county has already admitted its military ballots were not mailed by the September deadline. St. Clair County Clerk Bob Delaney says absentee ballots to military personnel didn’t get mailed in time because they were waiting on a court decision as to whether the Constitution Party candidates would be on the ballot.
Top Republicans, as expected, wasted no time flooding the media with crocodile tears over the disenfranchisement of our military personnel. But here’s the problem – it was the Illinois Republican Party’s desperate need to keep conservatives, libertarians, and at least four African Americans off the ballot that caused the delays.

The military should handle its our troops votes, period….In other words, if you are in the military, you vote(possibly a lot earlier than stateside), but due to the distances and people being in active duty, the military collects and counts the votes, posts the results(so local authorities can not rebrand the votes) and then relays the info to the appropriate districts.How's that for taking the votes out of the local crooks hands?…

As long as absentee ballots are not provided expeditiously and will not have an opportunity to be counted not one single other vote in Illinois should be allowed to count.
Every single ballot should be quarantined until all absentee ballots are received.

1) Men and women in uniform are not going to sit still and just whine about this.

2) If a trooper finds him/her self disenfranchised, do THIS:
- Print out the 'Sample Ballot' from your home district website
- Fill it out.
- Draft a letter explaining your disenfranchisement, and send it with the unsealed, unofficial ballot to your district
- Send copies of your ballot to the campaign offices of those for whom you voted.
IF the race is close, your choice will have ammo to show the media (and the populace)
When you get back home, MAKE A HUGE FRIGGIN DEAL ABOUT THIS

JOHNK- I would encourage that we bombard the DOJ's web site and phone lines with inquiries about what they are going to do about this as well as the Nikki Dias case. For our ex-military friends in Washington, and VFW members I would like them to protest outside of the DOJ in Chicago and in Washington. Even a protest out front of Holder's house (Like Moveon.org, code pink etc etc etc) Lets protest ouside of Delaney's home and expose him as the corrput Democrat pos he is . Lets get a Fox News crew to bang on Delaneys door and make him explain to Americans why he is deliberately not doing his job and make him explain whose orders is he following. Reading the comments from the Chicago papers I read one comment over and over…."It's the Chicago Way." We need to get serious about this and have the courts take over this monstrosity. Just like they did to the south after the equal rights amendments. No local control of voting procedres and the actual voting process in Illinois for the next 50 years. Nothing less will work to put a stop to this. They cannot be allowed to violate the sacntity of the voting right.
Regarding Robert Delaney, I have just one word: Disgraceful.
No vote should be certified until military votes are counted due to the failure of ballots to be gotten to the military on time. This official need to be removed and barred from any further dealings with the election process… he is shown he in incapable. Speak up people, not certification until the military votes are counted. No military votes to be disqualified.

The DOJ is useless. Until the media gets involved and shakes it's head and wakes up with a cup of coffee after the Obama hangover nothing will happen. I never realized how important the media was in controlling government. We can just hope that the FCC will not take control of the web, otherwise we won't read this information or be able to comment on it. Does this feel more and more like a Marxist/Communist country? The voters asked for it and they got it. I do not like it.
