Clinton Plotting Tea Party Counterattack

Last week, former President Clinton was rushed to the hospital in New York for an emergency heart operation. Medical experts said the procedure was “relatively routine” and predicted Clinton would make a full recovery and be back to his regular schedule soon. To the public, at least, that schedule revolves chiefly around earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. In fact, some Clinton associates cited the work in Haiti as exacerbating his heart condition. Clinton money man, Terry MacAuliffe, even noted that Clinton’s Haiti work continued right up until the operation:
Democrat colleague Terry McAuliffe said Mr Clinton had participated in a conference call on earthquake relief efforts as he was wheeled into the operating theatre.
We’ll take Terry’s word on that. But, Big Government has learned of at least one other conference call/meeting around this time. A meeting of former Clintonistas and senior Democrat political operatives to coordinate a push-back to the burgeoning tea party movement. Consider it a Democrat party relief effort.
When tea party, 9/12 and townhall protests and rallies first erupted on the national scene, they were derided by national politicos as astroturf or a small fringe movement. Lefty journalists at MSNBC, CNN and elsewhere laughed away the movement with derogatory, pornographic references.
Then, Scott Brown won election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts. No one is laughing anymore. In fact, Democrats are facing political annihilation this November. Not only do Democrats face the possibility of losing their congressional majorities, massive losses in state house races could jeopardize redistricting next year and set back the progressive agenda for at least a decade.
So, the Clinton Empire is planning to strike back.
Big Government has learned that Clintonistas are plotting a “push/pull” strategy. They plan to identify 7-8 national figures active in the tea party movement and engage in deep opposition research on them. If possible, they will identify one or two they can perhaps ‘turn’, either with money or threats, to create a mole in the movement. The others will be subjected to a full-on smear campaign. (Has MSNBC already been notified?)
Big Government has also learned that James Carville will head up the effort.
Obviously, there is no love lost between Obama and the Clinton machine. It may at first seem odd that Clinton would rush to Obama’s defense, but the tea party movement poses a threat far beyond the immediate goals of the Obama Administration.
The tea party movement could evolve into a new political realignment, one founded on a belief in limited government and less government interference in the economy. The Progressive agenda, which has been painstakingly built up over the last three decades, could be left in tatters.
As the Clinton’s know, “politics ain’t beanbag.” Expect the counterattack soon. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

I think this is going to blow up in their collective faces. Carville is a legend in his own mind. About three weeks ago, I commented on a thread (I foget which one) and predicted this very same thing. It is so amusing that politicians are sooooooo transparent and predictable. Through the medium here at Big Government, peoplecan talk and exchange ideas and viewpoints, and see it then play out several days, or weeks later. It is amazing, talking about news, before it makes news……

The Northern states can all become the Socialist States of America (SSA). Sorry if you live in the North, but it's cold up there… normally… and Chicago is in the North. NObama will be the lifetime king of the North.
The Southern states will become the Consittutional States of America (CSA). We will thrive on lower taxes, less government and NO debt. We will have term limited politicians that follow the constitution.
So, when the Russians learned of massing German forces at Kursk, they quietly began their own build up with massive fortifications. By the time the Germans launced their attack, they unwittingly walked into a buzz saw. The largest tank battle in history took place. When all was done, so were the Germans.
Or, for you water minded individuals, as when the US Navy craked the Japanese codes and discovered the pending attack on Midway. Silently our carrier force moved into position. As the Imperial Navy sprung what they thought was a surprise attack on the island, we hit them with our own surprise. And sent the enemy carriers responsible for the infamy at Pearl Harbor to the bottom.
Are we going to sit here and let them prepare and strike at their leisure, or do we have a plan to deal with them?

I've noticed that myself over the last year. I would post comments on Beck's 912 Project site (before they screwed it all up) and with one or two days my exact phraseology would bubble up on his show. We must be a great resource of material for them all. Too bad they never use our best ideas!
This should be a warning! The Tea Party Movement is Grass Roots, and should Stay that way! Anyone who claims to be a leader of the movement or advocates creating a third party, should not be trusted. This is rapidly turning into a battle to control/subvert the power of the grass roots protest.
I'm very concerned about the third party "Tea Party" candidate in Nevada. Remember Ross Perot. Without his help there would never have been a President Bill Clinton. If the Tea Party Splits the vote in Nevada, we're stuck with "Dirty Harry" for 6 more years.
"National leaders" will be crawling out of the wood work claiming to represent the Tea Party Movement. 50% of them will be Rino's. 30% will be Democratic Moles. and 19% will be seek power for themselves. Look for leadership from the people who talk less and do more. If you want our politicians to be Servents of the People, expect the same from your Leadership. People who walk the walk, not talk the talk. People who spend their time working for the movement. Beware of the Pied Piper who promises great things, but in reality wants to split the movement into fragments.

Just what I was wondering. I see a lot of cocky ripostes here, but I think this is as serious as ACORN. Vicious oppo work on Tea Party movers? Look, these animals like Carville and Clinton know how to whip up suspicion to lethal levels. And the Clintons aren't going to exit the political stage in a debunked, discredited state.
I was hoping the Clintons had had their sport with American politics and would go international in 2012, heading up well-funded NGOs that could help them buy Chelsea's first political office. I think the hard part will be identifying the national leaders of the Tea Party movement. There will be a lot of Carville saying "this guy's really bad", and a lot of tea party people saying, "well, he's not really a leader of the tea party movement anyway." It seems like Obama just giving Carville some busy work to keep him out of his hair.
TEA Party needs no leader. It is simply people organizing on the simple principles of smaller government, lower taxes, and less intrusion in our lives. Our not having a leader disables the Alinski tactics.

What the progressives fail to realize…as they have for the past year, is that the vast majority of this country is somewhate conservative and believes in limited gov't. This has always been the case but in the past we have been silent and have allowed them to infiltrate our institutions(especially education and government) and attack us for not wanting them controlling us and undermining our ideals to further their agenda and their power. We remained silent while we watched them eroding the foundation of this country but now we are sick of it…we have already reached the tipping point(its too late for their tricks). I would agree with some of the comments on a third party, even though I'm pretty fed up with Republicans, I'm afraid any sort of third party only manages to leach badly needed votes from the party it's lines up closest to ideologically… Like Ross Perot did in the early nineties, and even to a degree like what Ralph Nader has done in some crucial voting districts. I would hope that any Tea Party movement would still stick like glue to the republican party and make it very clear that at least for this next election there is no defection… We can afford to hemorrage votes to a infant movement (but a good one) that isn't mature enough to move or eat on it's own…
Let the Tea Party movement influence the GOP as it wills, but it must stay aligned and united…

We have to stop using words like “country club” in describing people or groups. That is a democrat term. We shouldn’t dislike people because they might have money. Just take solace in the fact that the left-right paradigm is now REACTING to us rather than leading us. All we have to do is keep doing what we've been doing: (1) Stay non-partisan, (2) Focus on the philosophy of individual liberty and respect the natural rights of all individuals – rights that no person or government can take away from them, and (3) Acknowledge that the two-party system works together against individual liberty.
When the democrats are in power, they pass laws restricting your "economic liberty".
When the republicans are in power, they pass laws restricting your "personal liberty".
But real "liberty" can't be split up into economic liberty and personal liberty – liberty is one unit…and the laws never get repealed. Each new restrictive law coming out of DC only makes them more irrelevant. When we finally start repealing laws or ignoring them altogether, that's when we get our country back.

We are already past the point of them putting in a candidate. So they will have to try and "turn" one of our present candidates. If we keep diligent and watch the way our choices act we should be able to figure them out. Hi Guys! Well…Mary me, Jon and Emmy went out on the town last night. We had a good Chinese dinner and I ordered to much so brought it home. We then went to a concert at Black Bart in Murphys. When I got there i realised that it was a Tree Huggers Convention. “Calm Down” I said to myself. Ok! I got a glass of wine for Mary and me and found some seats at the back (so we could make out), Anyway the lead up was a video of 4-5 river rats (otters) playing in the water at White Pines. That was fine except they played it over and over about 15 times. Ok! so finally out comes this “singer”. He sang some stupid ecollogy songs and then this woman sat to my right and I asked her…”Is this guy a preacher?” She said he was the preacher at the Congregational Church on Algiers St. in Murphys. I figgured as much and said “He’s really dumb.!” Then the idiot blurted out in one of his stupid songs “Why did Obama allow them to fire Van Jones?” I blurted out…”Cause he’s a communist.” People looked at me and shook their heads.
By then I was getting a little pissed (with wine ok) so I got up and told Mary I needed air. When I got to the Lobby I asked the girls why this was not advertised as a propganda concert and where was the music? They loooked at me as if I was stupid. Maybe true! Any how I went outside and asked if anyone had a cigar. Stupid looks again. I was all alone in the parking lot and I noticed two guys working to secure the entry door. That is, they were locking me out. I thought….”Screw them!” I approached the door and ripped it open to their “shock and awe” which was a latter song. The two guys backed off looking at me and said nothing.
After I calmed down a little girl about 10 came up to me and asked if the seat to my left was being used. I told her it was open and she left. A minute latter a big guy plunked his ass next to me. A few minutes latter this faggot got on stage and started to promote his asshole book on Redwood Trees and Oak Trees and how we should preserve them. I leaned over to big guy and said what’s this bullshit? He said….”Shush this is really important!” I said “bullshit!” I got tired of big guy sitting next to me so I put my feet on the cushion and leaned my left knee towards him. He left within a minute and went down to what appeared to be his family.
Next the “singers” said…”What do you want to hear next?” I said to be heard…”How about America The Beautifull?” People turned and looked at me as if I was STUPID! Maybe I am but I can say to all. UP YOURS!
Anyway, I wanted another glass of wine. During the course of the concert when they would inject stupid things and sing stupid songs I would say “Bullshit!” People would look at me and wonder why I was there.
Anyway we all had fun and my adrenales got a good work out and I am not going to apologize for LOVING AMERICA. Which those people really have no clue about.
I looked the place over and noticed 4 squriely bulbs not being used and about a hundred normal bulbs burning. OK!
I slept for about three hours and got up at about six and when I laid down for a nap Muppey was there within two minutes to make sure I was on guard so that she could go take a nap.

It's the free media (blogs/websites/social networks and the likes) that have given the American people the means to express themselves, communicate with likeminded people and educate thos who dissent for which the Tea Party Patriots stands.
Now that the "Progressive, socialist, liberals see the potential of this movement and fear the results, you will see more arrogant defensive tactics taking place. One of the most powerful options is the Executive Order, which I anticipate being used to place a moratorium on elections until the current ruling class can repair all of the problems they inherited from the Bush Administration (also known as "Bush's Fault"). This will be claimed as necessary for the nation to be healed economically, governmentally and health care wise.
The disasters these situations present will need every politician to remain where they are now. If "We, the people" are allowed to vote for other candidates the progress that was accomplished during the past year will be lost, as they see it. Do NOT be surprised if this action takes place in the summer months this year.
They, politicians (both D's and R's), will lose control unless elections are cancelled for now, temporarily.
Remember NAFTA was a bipartisan project. TARP/Stimulus fundng was a bipartisan implementation that was announced to save the home owner, unemployed common people. The only problem is the funds never got past the rich, fat cats that are the politicians friends.
Control by the politicain is only possible if they control the elections. They ignore the Constitution, the people's voice and all rationale to do whatever they please. Why not stop the elections to keep what they have achieved, a lifetime political career. They do not care about us. They will do whatever it takes to keep their power as an "elected official", including the elimination of elections, "temporarily" for the good of the nation. They can't allow another Scott Brown fiasco to take place!!!!
Without the ballot box, we are left with only the means used by our founding fathers to establish this nation. Even that is being controlled as best as it can be by legislation at all levels of government. I know about this as I live in California. We can't even purchase ammunition without being booked like a criminal. The N.R.A.'s recent issue of "America's 1st Nation" magazine explains the in detail.

Elections? What elections? An executive order can overule the Constitution. Elections will be suspended "temporarily" before November in order to maintain control UNTIL the economic, evironmental, health care disasters are repaired by the current administration because they were caused by the previous administration ("Bush's Fault – a new geological formation that has been shaking the nation since January 20, 2009).
Think I'm a nut? Just think of all that has been done this past year. A temporary moratorium would only be a small inconvenience for the nation to have in order to save it by those in power currently.
An executive order is underestimated, too often. Watch how it is used between now and November. Many things have been foisted upon us in the name of good for over a year. It was not good for the average American. The rich, fat cats got the money that was touted as the means to solve our problems.

They have yet to grasp the unique concept that makes the Tea Party Patriots so different from other 'grass roots movements'. We have no national leader! Or, rather, we are all national leaders.

The Tea Party Patriots has the excellent opportunity to put the former President Clinton into the jail. Bill Clinton is the killer of the former Director of the CIA William Colby. Bill Clinton has ordered William Colby to be killed without court trial and a sentence The killing is purely criminal action which is a bright violation of the US constitution and the laws.
I recommend the Tea Party to begin a court trial against Bill Clinton and to charge him with the killing of William Colby. The list of persons guilty for the killing is available at the page

Why ? Why would a former President of the US and influential player in the Democrat party go through the moves of a smear campaign against people figuring prominently in the TP movement? Could it be that they have no real substance with which to rebut?
Of all people, former Pres. Bill Clinton, who is a thinking man – should be able to come up with a valid response for his side of the debate over constitutionality and the current state of the republic as it applies to the future. It must be the case that he only sees dollar signs now and the TP movement must be a threat to that end.
As for Carville, he has so much time invested in ad hominem attacks he should have a degree in it by now — for him it's all a game and he is a perfect example of what is wrong with Washington. Let them engage in their petty smear campaign because men and women of honor, character and humility will triumph in the end.

Chisten – Your first sentence is at odds with your premise. You state that "The Tea Party Movement is Grass Roots, and should Stay that way!", then you go on to argue that we (Tea Partiers) should join one of the two major parties – not to preserve our independence – but to 'avoid wasting our vote' by 'splitting the vote'. You sound like a Progressive plant. You're advocating what I and everyone I know have been doing for years with absolutely no effect – voting against the worst of the two candidates and hoping for change. I've given up on the old canard that in order to not 'waste my vote' by voting for a third party, I should vote for one of the two sorry candidates put forth by the major parties "where my vote can count".
I reject that argument. As a tea-party believer I'd vote for a tea-party candidate – but will no longer vote for a Repub *OR* a Dem. I will no longer vote Repub because the GOP has become hopelessly corrupted by the Progressives since Regan.
To change that, you propose to fight one of the established national machines on their turf using their rules. I know how that games turns out. I'll go with the true Tea Party that is willing to strike out on their own and field their own candidates with Tea Party values.
Folks – don't let the established media (O'Riely / Matthews / Maddow / Palin / Beck / astro-turfers) convince you that "in order to succeed, you must become part of the system". That road leads to defeat due to an extremely corrupt (un-salvageable ?) system. We must use the system only to the extent we must to get our own candidates on the tickets, then vote for those candidates.
There is a HUGE push right now by the Dems to try to force-fit the Tea Party concepts, ideals, and people into a category they can attack. They know how to attack the Republicans and they know how to attack any group with a defined leader. One of their methods is by association with unpopular Republicans ("It's all GW's fault"). The minute the Tea Partiers identify with the Republican party, the Dems will use the records of the career RINOS and Progressives in the Republican party to attack the Tea Party members and belittle the Tea Party beliefs or they will use other planks in the Republican party and regional differences to try to defeat the candidates at local levels.
They know they cannot win on fiscal, ethical, or moral issues – but they can find enough weaknesses in the histories of long-term republicans to beat individual candidates on other (unrelated or personal) issues.
To win, we need to vote for the most conservative candidates in the short term, and form a separate party as necessary in states where the Republican party has been corrupted/discredited (most of the Northeast, California, Illinois, Michigan, etc), and run our own candidates, then encourage the Republicans to get on-board with us.
Again, I reject the argument that there can be only two parties in the US and that even though the values, ethics, and morals of both are thoroughly compromised, we need to join one of them anyway. This is an attack and an attempt to subvert the Tea Party principles and I want nothing to do with it.
There IS a battle going on – the Dems are openly creating top-down 'grass-roots' movements to influence Tea Party opinions. Therefore we can't believe anyone – including those who claim to be Tea Party members unless their arguments pass the sniff test. There is no single answer. The TPM stands the best chance if we remain leaderless at a national level. If we are to remain true to the Constitutional principles we espouse, we *SHOULD* not have a 'national party' because the power should be in the States. It is sufficient to have State Parties that are responsive to the people of the individual states – if that means some states create 3rd parties and some don't – that's the way it should be. Congressional elections are always *state-level* elections – Presidential elections (because of electoral college) are also *state-level* elections.
In Illinois, the 'Republican' brand has been tarnished beyond redemption.
Since it's unlikely that a Tea Party candidate still has time to get on the election for November, voting against Harry Reid in Nevada makes sense for this election, but I do *NOT* advocate that the Tea Party surrender its independence and compromise its values in order to become either Repubs or Dems. We DO need a third party – one that is new and fresh and unknown and can make its own reputation with the American people without the baggage of either current major party and without presenting an easy target for the Progressives to attack.

Chisten's advocated procedure *might* produce results in 3 or 4 years (after enough election cycles have been missed that the Progressives complete their plan while the TPM is infiltrating but not yet influential enough to impact elections).
He under-states the mastery of the political 'game' and the deceitfulness of the Progressives in control of the Dem party. If the TPM is to act in time, we must immediately get candidates out there that we can vote for as alternatives to the Progressives – we don't have 4-8 years to do so.
In the process of trying to influence the Republicans over a period of several years (while the TPM candidates are gaining 'street cred' within the Repub party), the Progressives are expecting that the TPM values, goals, and ethics will be compromised by the general corruptness of the political machine and that the TPM will have 'joined the DC club' before they become a threat.
If you truly want change in DC, we must demand it now – before we squander our country – before we lose our way.
Consider who gains the most for the Tea Party to focus on working on changing the Republican party. To have both the TPM and Republicans in turmoil and distracted this close to such a critical election.
Yeah – let's ignore the fact that the Progressives control the Dem party and the Dem party is only threatened if the Tea Party Movement manages to succeed in voting conservatives into office.
Progressives can deal with Republicans – especially RINOs that are willing to compromise their values for votes.
Progressives can deal with movements that have and depend on (or identify with) leaders – they have lots of Union $$$ and their smear propaganda machine is world-class. (Remember the last-minute mailing against Scott Brown that Coakley sent out too late for Scott to reply to ?)
Progressives would much rather fight a national party / single-leader movement because they have targets. To date their attempts to fight the TPM have been like digging in water – they cannot identify any movement nexus or critical element, so it does not matter how many individuals Progressives smear – others rush in to fill the holes. Let's keep it this way – at least until we get enough conservatives in congress to regain checks-and-balances on Obama.

I have seen people snooping around various tea party blogs, asking who's in charge, what is your platform and are you a political party… and I'm thinking, Clinton operatives?
The problem with Clintonistas and the rest of the Left is they can't understand that we don't march cause Beck tells us. We don't vote for a candidate cause Hannity told us to. We don't show up to townhalls cause Limbaugh asked us to. This is what the left does, blindly follow someone. We do these things because we love America and we want it to be better for our kids and grandkids. The tea party is much bigger than one person.

1.We do not have the time to create a viable third party for 2010. any attempt to do so will allow either the Idiots we have to stay in Congress, or we may end up with even more idiots as we split the votes on the more conservative candidates.
2.We do have the time to push Constitutionalists, and Small Government candidates up from the Grass Roots into the existing parties. Primarily the Republican Party, but there is a slim chance that it could happen in the Democratic Party.
3.I Remember Ross Perot! That Egotist’s 3rd party gave us 8 years of Clintons! A poorly planned 3rd party will give us nothing but Harry Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, etc. Plus a new crop of uber-liberals!
4.If we have success in moving the Congress back to the Right. We can than focus on the Presidential race in 2012, and continue the momentum, pushing the Government farther back into the boundaries set by the Constitution.

5.If we are derailed by the current parties. I would agree with you that a third party could be a viable option. But we need the time to do it right! A Third party created on the fly will be an open door to the very flim-flam artists I was referring to. This is a war for the political future of our country. A militia cannot win against a determined trained army in a head to head battle, and believe me the two parties we have now are trained armies! The Tea Party Movement is a militia, and until it is trained we cannot win fighting the existing parties head on. We can win by taking back the leadership one party, and demoralizing the other party!

I like the idea of the states succeeding or failing on their own. People have been voting with their feet for awhile. I won't send my image to youtube, but I did notify the whitehouse that according to janet incompetano I may qualify for their watch list. I do take my Christian faith seriously, I am against the taking of innocent human life. And I did homeschool my children. I also would fight to keep my God given and constitutionally guaranteed freedoms. If you live in a state that is seeing an influx of northern progressives, make sure you let them know they are not welcome. Keep the tea warm and mr. s&w handy, just in case.

Most people disagree with my suggested option for this administration's option to maintain control of the government. Most people would never have believed in 2008 that an adminstration would do what this adminstration has done since January 20, 2009.
They are desperate as they see their political clout being eroded by the Tea Party Patriots grassroots organization. We, the People are coming together, finally, to oppose big government's telling us what to do and how to do it.
In their desperation to maintain control, they must stop elections or We, the People, will take back control as has been shown in the past two months. That desperation will cause them to do the unthinkable. A desperate man always takes desperate action in a desperate situation.

Well, they've tried character assassination with Southern Poverty Law Center and the ADL saying the tea parties were racist, militant, etc., and that didn't work, so they're trying something different. Their tactics don't work anymore. We're ready for them.
TickedinOhio, I challenge you to number your points. You will quickly see internal conflict and inconsistency. Chisten’s thinking rings loud and clear.
However, I do agree with TickedinOhio to this extent; tragically, the Republican Party has become tainted with progressivism. To put it bluntly, our job is to force the rinos out and to the other side where they belong, and attract the confused and searching Dems to our side. We cannot avoid the untidiness of politics. No amount of idealism can erase the “us against them” dynamic. They are progressives and they intend to destroy our country. I know it, you know it and they know it. They are Democrats, we are Republicans.
To all tea partiers: We have a single, over-arching purpose: To incite a reformation within the Republican Party. The anarcho-libertarian cynicism of folks like TickedinOhio will not further this cause. We must face the fact that historically and in every practical way, we are forever a two party nation. Citing a myriad of third parties, imagined or factual, is to raise a straw man.
So, in heeling to the two-party mandate, we must adapt a 6 point program.
1) Make no attempt at third party for any reason anywhere. Doing so empowers the Democrat Party.
2) Believe in this grass-roots movement and keep it pristinely separated from the Republican Party. In other words, the Republican Party must come to us.
3) Explicit tea party movement support goes only to those Republican candidates who represent our values. We are simply quiet about all others.

5) The purpose of the tea party movement is to find and empower political candidates with our mission. The strategy is to mobilize believers. We are already the silent majority. Soon, we will be the vocal majority. It is a waste of time to engage the negative side of this point. We don’t need to kick people out; we don’t need to win people over; we don’t need to bitch about the last 8 years. We need to win elections in November.
6) Join the Republican Party and vote Republican in every election. A Democrat win anywhere is a loss for the tea party movement.

Just wondering if we could get some documentation on some of these "assumptions". I totally believe it but would like to be able to present some hard fast evidence to the "disbelievers".
I am a TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party person and owe my allegiance to no one but to the Constitution of the USA. Any time and money I choose to contribute to whomever is MY choice and MINE alone. NO ONE tells me what or who to endorse. I stand by my principles and judge people by the company they keep. Bill Clinton, James Carville and others like their ilk are NOT my type of people. What do they fear of the TEA party people? We are just ordinary everyday tax paying citizens who want smaller government and less intrusion in our lives. Are they fearful of losing power? Cannot they survive in the real world? If they want to destroy the TEA party people, they will have to do it one by one and considering the hundreds of thousands that showed up in Washington DC alone, last September, they had better hope they have an exceptionally long, healthy life span because they will need it. With all their supposed brilliance, they still don't get it because their arrogance and self importance won't allow it. The majority of TEA party people are made up of people, like myself, who have never gotten involved with politics before. At 68 years of age, and retired, I have made this my priority to make sure my country remains strong both militarily and financially. There are more of us than of your type. Thank God.
