Clinton Plotting Tea Party Counterattack

Last week, former President Clinton was rushed to the hospital in New York for an emergency heart operation. Medical experts said the procedure was “relatively routine” and predicted Clinton would make a full recovery and be back to his regular schedule soon. To the public, at least, that schedule revolves chiefly around earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. In fact, some Clinton associates cited the work in Haiti as exacerbating his heart condition. Clinton money man, Terry MacAuliffe, even noted that Clinton’s Haiti work continued right up until the operation:
Democrat colleague Terry McAuliffe said Mr Clinton had participated in a conference call on earthquake relief efforts as he was wheeled into the operating theatre.
We’ll take Terry’s word on that. But, Big Government has learned of at least one other conference call/meeting around this time. A meeting of former Clintonistas and senior Democrat political operatives to coordinate a push-back to the burgeoning tea party movement. Consider it a Democrat party relief effort.
When tea party, 9/12 and townhall protests and rallies first erupted on the national scene, they were derided by national politicos as astroturf or a small fringe movement. Lefty journalists at MSNBC, CNN and elsewhere laughed away the movement with derogatory, pornographic references.
Then, Scott Brown won election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts. No one is laughing anymore. In fact, Democrats are facing political annihilation this November. Not only do Democrats face the possibility of losing their congressional majorities, massive losses in state house races could jeopardize redistricting next year and set back the progressive agenda for at least a decade.
So, the Clinton Empire is planning to strike back.
Big Government has learned that Clintonistas are plotting a “push/pull” strategy. They plan to identify 7-8 national figures active in the tea party movement and engage in deep opposition research on them. If possible, they will identify one or two they can perhaps ‘turn’, either with money or threats, to create a mole in the movement. The others will be subjected to a full-on smear campaign. (Has MSNBC already been notified?)
Big Government has also learned that James Carville will head up the effort.
Obviously, there is no love lost between Obama and the Clinton machine. It may at first seem odd that Clinton would rush to Obama’s defense, but the tea party movement poses a threat far beyond the immediate goals of the Obama Administration.
The tea party movement could evolve into a new political realignment, one founded on a belief in limited government and less government interference in the economy. The Progressive agenda, which has been painstakingly built up over the last three decades, could be left in tatters.
As the Clinton’s know, “politics ain’t beanbag.” Expect the counterattack soon. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

That man is the most vile piece of feces on the planet. They'll be coming after Beck, Breitbart, Savage, and Limbaugh for sure. O'Reiley might get a small dose, but he carries water for them from time to time so he'll largely get a pass.
I think this is going to blow up in their collective faces. Carville is a legend in his own mind. The only people they will reach with their hate-mongering campaign is their already rabid Lefty base, and that is shrinking fast. Give it your best shot, Carville…you chowder-head! About three weeks ago, I commented on a thread (I foget which one) and predicted this very same thing. It is so amusing that politicians are sooooooo transparent and predictable. Through the medium here at Big Government, peoplecan talk and exchange ideas and viewpoints, and see it then play out several days, or weeks later. It is amazing, talking about news, before it makes news……

The Northern states can all become the Socialist States of America (SSA). Sorry if you live in the North, but it's cold up there… normally… and Chicago is in the North. NObama will be the lifetime king of the North.
The Southern states will become the Consittutional States of America (CSA). We will thrive on lower taxes, less government and NO debt. We will have term limited politicians that follow the constitution.
So, when the Russians learned of massing German forces at Kursk, they quietly began their own build up with massive fortifications. By the time the Germans launced their attack, they unwittingly walked into a buzz saw. The largest tank battle in history took place. When all was done, so were the Germans.
Or, for you water minded individuals, as when the US Navy craked the Japanese codes and discovered the pending attack on Midway. Silently our carrier force moved into position. As the Imperial Navy sprung what they thought was a surprise attack on the island, we hit them with our own surprise. And sent the enemy carriers responsible for the infamy at Pearl Harbor to the bottom.
Are we going to sit here and let them prepare and strike at their leisure, or do we have a plan to deal with them?

I've noticed that myself over the last year. I would post comments on Beck's 912 Project site (before they screwed it all up) and with one or two days my exact phraseology would bubble up on his show. We must be a great resource of material for them all. Too bad they never use our best ideas!
This should be a warning! The Tea Party Movement is Grass Roots, and should Stay that way! Anyone who claims to be a leader of the movement or advocates creating a third party, should not be trusted. This is rapidly turning into a battle to control/subvert the power of the grass roots protest.
I'm very concerned about the third party "Tea Party" candidate in Nevada. Remember Ross Perot. Without his help there would never have been a President Bill Clinton. If the Tea Party Splits the vote in Nevada, we're stuck with "Dirty Harry" for 6 more years.
"National leaders" will be crawling out of the wood work claiming to represent the Tea Party Movement. 50% of them will be Rino's. 30% will be Democratic Moles. and 19% will be seek power for themselves. Look for leadership from the people who talk less and do more. If you want our politicians to be Servents of the People, expect the same from your Leadership. People who walk the walk, not talk the talk. People who spend their time working for the movement. Beware of the Pied Piper who promises great things, but in reality wants to split the movement into fragments.

Just what I was wondering. I see a lot of cocky ripostes here, but I think this is as serious as ACORN. Vicious oppo work on Tea Party movers? Look, these animals like Carville and Clinton know how to whip up suspicion to lethal levels. And the Clintons aren't going to exit the political stage in a debunked, discredited state.
I was hoping the Clintons had had their sport with American politics and would go international in 2012, heading up well-funded NGOs that could help them buy Chelsea's first political office. But it looks to me that she'll be running again, probably against one of the people they're now trying to destroy.

I think the hard part will be identifying the national leaders of the Tea Party movement. There will be a lot of Carville saying "this guy's really bad", and a lot of tea party people saying, "well, he's not really a leader of the tea party movement anyway." It seems like Obama just giving Carville some busy work to keep him out of his hair.
TEA Party needs no leader. It is simply people organizing on the simple principles of smaller government, lower taxes, and less intrusion in our lives. Our not having a leader disables the Alinski tactics.

What the progressives fail to realize…as they have for the past year, is that the vast majority of this country is somewhate conservative and believes in limited gov't. This has always been the case but in the past we have been silent and have allowed them to infiltrate our institutions(especially education and government) and attack us for not wanting them controlling us and undermining our ideals to further their agenda and their power. We remained silent while we watched them eroding the foundation of this country but now we are sick of it…we have already reached the tipping point(its too late for their tricks). We don't care if they call us racist, dumb, hateful xenophobes etc. etc. etc. We realize this is what they do because their policies can't stand on their own and we are done letting them have their way…if they want a war of ideas they will get it and they will continue to lose credibility and be exposed as the statist "intelectuals" who think they should dictate our lives.

Since the Tea Party movement is largely a bunch of local groups, it's not going to be hard for the Dems to find a few rotten apples. Look at Debra Medina in Texas, a troofer. There are a bunch of Ronulans in the Tea Party. Don't be surprised when Carvile claims the movement is nothing more than the Ron Paul rEVOLution dressed in colonial costumes.

I would agree with some of the comments on a third party, even though I'm pretty fed up with Republicans, I'm afraid any sort of third party only manages to leach badly needed votes from the party it's lines up closest to ideologically… Like Ross Perot did in the early nineties, and even to a degree like what Ralph Nader has done in some crucial voting districts. I would hope that any Tea Party movement would still stick like glue to the republican party and make it very clear that at least for this next election there is no defection… We can afford to hemorrage votes to a infant movement (but a good one) that isn't mature enough to move or eat on it's own…
Let the Tea Party movement influence the GOP as it wills, but it must stay aligned and united…

different note: i watched Greta on FOX last night and saw the Tea Party meeting with RNC Steele… I thought the person Greta interviewed in her studio was a perfect example of the Tea Party movement… the person was not overly polished, sincere, and 'normal' in a good way… if more people like that are put on TV to represent the Tea Party movement, it will be hard for the 'progressives' to come after a 'normal' person… it will come across as the 'progressives' attacking America… would love to hear your thoughts and comments

Ha! This is more posturing to try and knock Obama out as a one-termer. Bayh and Hillary are the first potential presidential candidates to flee the kitchen as the light is turned on. Now they're trying to round up their base to get in position to challenge in 2012. Too badk they continue to underestimate the rage of the electorate. Their efforts will be successful in eliminating Obama in 2012 but they'll need nothing short of a miracle to win back the executive branch.
