Bachmann: Obama Worst President in United States History

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is a rising star in the Republican Party, a true representative of the tea party spirit. She’s plainspoken, brilliant, and incisive. She’s running for re-election to the House in Minnesota. And today, I had the chance to pre-record an interview with Congresswoman Bachmann for my radio show, “The Ben Shapiro Show,” broadcast Sundays 1-4 PM EST on 810 AM in Orlando, FL. In the interview, Congresswoman Bachmann characterizes President Obama’s response to the BP spill as “infantile,” says he’s the worst president in American history, says he’s siding with the Islamic world against Israel. How’s that for guts! Take a listen:

BACHMANN: It’s an infantile response for the president to point blame at BP when the president has given over full authority to BP to deal with and manage the cleanup. If the president wanted to, he could intervene and he clearly hasn’t.
SHAPIRO: Isn’t that a running theme with this presidency? They’re all about blame, and not about doing anything?
BACHMANN: He’s not about taking responsibility, and that’s why I say it’s an infantile response to not take responsibility when your’e the president of the United States, and that is all we have seen, unfortunately, coming out of this president is an unwillingness to take responsibility.

SHAPIRO: I want to ask you, speaking of his violent language, and he’s been brutal on BP, talking about putting his boot on the throat of BP, talking about how he wants to go down there and kick someone’s ass — frankly, Michele, I think you could take President Obama, off the record.
BACHMANN: Hey, I took karate when I was 17 years old, I am dangerous.
SHAPIRO: I do believe that. That was not said facetiously.

SHAPIRO: President Obama said in 2008 about his political enemies, who are never terrorists, by the way, but they’re members of the tea party — he said to his supporters, “I want you to argue with them and get in their faces … If they tell you, ‘Well he’s going to raise our taxes,’ you say, ‘No he’s not, he’s going to lower them.’
BACHMANN: In other words, go lie to people.
SHAPIRO: Is it fair to call him a liar at this point?
BACHMANN: It’s not a truthful statement. That’s the elixir of the tea party movement. People are telling the truth.
At 6:55:
SHAPIRO: Is President Obama better or worse than Jimmy Carter?
BACHMANN: Worse. Easily worse.
SHAPIRO: I agree. So far, you’d have to say he’s the worst president in United States history …
BACHMANN: No question. No question.
SHAPIRO: … with the possible exception of James Buchanan.
BACHMANN: And the thing is, here we are, people can’t wait until November. They’re practically lining up for polls now, they can’t wait to go out and vote. The only thing is people wish Barack Obama was up for re-election right now, because they’d honestly love to have a chance to throw him out of office. Everywhere I go, people ask me, “Michele, can we impeach the president?” They want a referendum on him. I also had someone today say, “There’s no way he’ll run for a second term. No way. No one would vote for him.” I don’t know if the White House understands how the floor has dropped out under support for this president.

BACHMANN: It appears that way. This was horrific.

Michelle, along with Sarah Palin is going to be a thorn in this President's side until we remove him. November is going to be the first salvo. Hang on tight!
I want to give credit to the Amerian people for the many positive reasons that they voted for President Obama. They demonstrated that they are open-minded and willing to listen to new ideas. They also became the first industrialized country to elect a member of a visible minority to the highest office.
The American people should also also be commended for rebuking the GOP for what it had become at the time of the 2008 elections. The GOP's presidential candidate was a stale, long-time politician who lacked new ideas and carried with him the likelihood of continuing the worst of the GOP's policies.
It is not the fault of the American people that the dream that was promised by Obama was just a slick progressive from the Chicago political machine wrapped up in a slick marketing campaign. Fortunately, the Founding Fathers, in their wisdom, put in place a system that ensures that electoral mistakes do not have to be permanent.
I encourage every American to make sure they vote and that they convince their friends and neighbors to do the same. It's your country and you can take it back from the slick progressives that have temporarily stolen the White House.
How ironic, just about the only person in the republican party that consistently has "balls" to stand up against the tyranny this administration spews.
And learn a martial art and get into a good cardio exercise routine. This isn't going to be pretty once it gets going.
Somewhere, Jimmy Carter is crying out, "I can't even keep the 'worst president in history' title"?
Thank God this woman is on our side. I pity the left that has the likes of Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein. They just don't hold a candle to Michelle.

This esteemed lady is destined to become our first female POTUS. She has all the qualities to make a great President, if only she will allow herself to run. America badly needs a reset by someone who is grounded in Constitutional applicability of the Law and who will defer to its principles just as the founders intended. Michele Bachmann meets that end.

No offense but Canada is so socialistic that i'm not sure a Canadian can understand a Patriotic American. I know that sounds harsh but Canada really thinks it's all that and a bag of chips too. I would rather be in a country that out right says it socialist than live in a country that is socialistic but claims to not be. We will be fighting that battle here in short order.
I appreciate your support my son is going to marry a Canadian in August and she will be becoming a US citizen soon. Very lovely girl who understands that Canada if very different from the US even though they are neighbors.

The American people got caught up in the hype of electing our first Black president; but during the campaing he said exactly who he was and what he was going to do. All the warning signs were there: Alinsky, Ayers (sp?), Wright, changing his mind on using public funds, his impossible to keep promises, etc. However, you make a solid point, there really was no choice for the American people. The Republicans should never have run McCain. And, it wasn't so much a vote FOR Obama as against Bush (i.e. Republicans). Great comment, thanks.

Note to CA: I believe in January a 50 round limit will be going into effect. Now I have heard that 2nd hand and have been trying to find confirmation on it. According to this source, CA placed a limit of how much ammo you can buy at one time, 50 rounds being the most. If anyone has any details on this or if this plain out right wrong I would love to let the party who told me this know.

Mind you, Obama is in contention for number two; I mean, he's done an impressive job in domestic affairs, foreign affairs, and national security – he's screwed all three up. He could surpass Carter and Nixon by the end of his second year, at this rate.

I did not always agree with President Bush, in fact I often didn't, but at least he did not embarrass me over and over again as Chairman O has. The whole demeanor of this administration is insulting and ruinous to the American people. With the democratic majority in both houses of congress, the same can be said for congress. Never have I seen a government so anxious to damage, degrade and ignore its constituents. 2010 and 2012 cannot come fast enough for me.

I think President Obama's closing fast on Buchanan. He seems to be trying to lead us to another civil war, with his stance on immigration, taxes on producers, and overall indifference to the opinion of the majority of Americans.

She will be an American and happy to surrender her Canadian citizenship. From what she tells me Calgary is very socialist to the point that everyone has to keep their lawn a certain way or be fined per diem and the only lawn company you can use is the city of Calgary. She had no idea what Draw Muhammed day was until she came to visit us the day before, she says the internet is censored there. Bozo the Clown is intellectually way ahead of our President actually if I remember correctly Bozo the Clown is our Vice President. Canada's population is One 10th of our population, not sure but I think that might be because once the doctors and nurses graduate from med/nursing school they migrate to the US. Maybe it's because once a citizen there visits the US, they make plans to return permanently?

I greatly admire Allen West and as a Marine veteran I can relate to him being POTUS. He is outspoken and gets straight to the point – none of this awe shucks crap and nor does he make excuses. He is fair minded but disciplined and I agree he would make a great President. Don't know much about Christy but it's nice to see him pull no punches when it comes to dealing with the unions in NJ.
The Republicans have several true conservatives who are finally standing up and answering the call for real leadership and anyone of those three would fit the bill as POTUS. Americans are mostly fair minded and it is a shame that the people took the bait for Obama, as his nomination to the White House was a major milestone for the African-American community yet sadly he turned out to be a shrill for the radicals. Allen West would definitely restore the damage brought on by Obama and bring this nation together, and back to respectability globally.

I love reading all your posts on here!! They give me a feeling that all is not lost but we have to do what is necessary to make sure November won't the the biggest fraud in history (next to the 2008 election). Organizing for America is organizing and they will be out in their full violent, corrupt force. Lock and load and take many videos.

Calgary may be the most conservative city in the entire country. I am proud of that, and attribute it to the fact that Calgary has the highest population of American expats of ANY city in the world.
One minor point of correction, private lawn care is available for private residences. However, a few of the environuts on City council have banned any pesticides, so the dandelions have taken over all public properties that used to have grass.
There is no internet censorship here that I am aware of, but I can't speak to the sites that your future daughter-in-law might have been trying to access ;-P
One last point – none of the Americans that I know that live in Calgary have any desire to return home yet, even though some of them have yet to sell their badly devalued US homes….

You must be joking (or being sarcastic) about there being ANY–never mind many–reasons for voting for Obama. WHAT 'new ideas'?! There has to be a better reason than one's visibility of minority status. Limbaugh warned of there being absolutely nothing new about Obama; Coulter subsequently summed up the election results perfectly: It was a fashion statement.
