Help Me Flip this District from Phil ‘I Don’t Worry about the Constitution’ Hare

There are only 13 days left until Election Day and I need your help to flip this district.
The latest poll shows us leading Congressman Hare 44% – 41% and according to Politico, this is the 5th hottest race in the country.
The Hill just published a story that said that we are beating Hare by 7 points.
Our message of creating jobs, not more government, is resonating with Americans. We have momentum and will work around the clock to ensure victory.
However, groups like the Democratic Congressional Committee and the SEIU are spending more than $1 million to promote false advertisements against me and this race will come down to the final day and dollar.
We need real change. Our economy is hemorrhaging jobs, spending is out of control and small businesses around the country lack the certainty needed to expand. Sending out-of-touch, career politicians back to Washington will not fix these problems.
Despite what my opponent says, our national debt is real. This debt has increased by $5 trillion over the past four years and ever since Barack Obama was sworn-in as president, $55,687 has been added to the national debt every single second. That’s $3,341,220 every minute, $200,473,223 every hour, and $4,811,357,343 every day. We cannot continue down this road.
Despite what my opponent says, our Constitution matters. That is why I support citing the specific Constitutional Authority in the legislation that Congress considers. I will always uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

Anyone that 'doesn't worry about the Constitution' should be exempt BY LAW from running for any office!!! They HAVE to take an oath stating that they will protect and defend the Constitution!!!!

Have no fear sir. There is a wave coming that pollsters can not place into the numbers. More voters will turn out at the polls to vote in this midterm than any other election. They have abstained in phone polls and others to ensure an x factor. Watch as the patriotic conservatives show up and blow out the pollsters numbers. The 3 point lead your polling shows is probably 10 points or more. I don't say this to diminish the polling process or create an apathetic block. I say this because it will be an incredible November 3 as all the numbers are collated and the pollsters sit back asking themselves, "How did we miss by so much". No one could accurately account for the active patriots who will be voting this year and the years to follow.
That was one of the most insolent, asinine political statements ever made…. how can any true American not on the "take" ever consider this slime-ball to represent them in public office?

When I met you Springfield, Sir, you told me that the "Constitution has to come first". I believed you then and I believe you now. When you win this contest, never forget that. Always remember to be a Statesmen – refuse to be transformed into a politician.
What is the legal penalty for breaking your pledge to uphold and defend the Constitution and how do we start to enforce it? Taking the pledge is part of accepting an elected office and breaking it must surely be some sort of crime; perjury at least. In court you swear to tell the truth and can be convicted of perjury for failure to do so.

I think the penalty for an elected official to run counter their pledge of office is the same as a citizen to run counter their pledge of allegiance, both cases are treason. We stopped prosecuting treason in any substantial way a long time ago. I think we should still be prosecuting it for excessive cases (like for citizens to fund terrorist organizations, or for public officials to fail to uphold the Constitution).

I'm kind of a stranger to my own family. Only my nestmate knows what I really do for a living. We're both very private people and don't socialise much. Yeah, theres the usual Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, but not much more than that. I'm kind of the black sheep in the family. Actually, more like a wolf among sheep………

And I hear ya on the not socializing…I hate it. This blogging dealie is about as much of socializing as I can stand- and sometimes even that gets to be too much.
My husband, son and I are so very different in attitude from the rest of our families, its a literal chore to do the usual family get togethers (Christmas, Easter, etc)…I dread them. Mr Pix says my tolerance meter pegs out in about 5 minutes <snort>
