Three years after my opponent Rep. Phil Hare took his first oath to defend and uphold the Constitution, he voted in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi and other left coast liberals to take away individual freedom from every citizen in the United States.
When he was recently asked at a town hall meeting in Quincy, Ill. why he so stridently supported the Pelosi-Reid Obamacare bill, even though it unconstitutionally forces every U.S. Citizen to buy government approved health insurance or face a state imposed penalty, he stated that he didn’t worry about the constitution.
His decision to knowingly disregard his oath to defend the constitution so that he could support the now infamous Obamacare bill and the Chicago-style, strong-arm tactics that made it’s passage possible reveals a troubling and radical belief that our rights as Americans are not God given but are based on his power as our congressman.
This elitist, out of touch mentality that representative Hare has espoused and which has taken hold in our nation’s capital, I believe, must be forcefully rejected. I am running to replace Representative Hare in Congress in order to get rid of Obamacare, the elitist ideology that it represents and to restore the trust of the people of western Illinois
My name is Bobby Schilling. I am the father of 10 beautiful children, a small business owner and I care about the constitution.
Here in western Illinois, we are like most Americans. We work hard, look out for our neighbors and are willing to fight to preserve our families and communities. We are proud of the men and women who have made our country great.
But for the past three years we have been represented by an elitist politician who has been more concerned with his own advancement than the rights of his constituents in here in western Illinois
He has broken the promise that he made to us to protect our most fundamental rights as Americans enshrined in the constitution.
Representative Phil Hare swore to us before God that he would defend the constitution and by his own recent admission, he knowingly broke that promise.
We need a congressman who will represent western Illinois, not the power brokers and lobbyists in Washington.

Giving people insurance has nothing at all to do with providing health care. If we all have insurance but run every doctor out of office no one will get health CARE, but we'll all have a piece of paper guaranteeing us coverage.

Then, during the question and answer, he answers with a sob story (real or inventive) about a poor little boy, or parents who can't afford medical treatment. And, another group has just posted qualifications to Obamacare: Muslims, Indians, and other groups may "opt out" of compulsory health insurance coverage, for "conscientious objection" reasons. But, not most other Americans. How's that for not lying about the law?

Step 2: Hope you never get a serious question about what you believe or what you think about the role of government.
Step 3: If you do get a serious question, refer to Step 1.
Step 4: Get elected.

We in Ohio care about the Constitution too! We've just started a non-profit organization called Constitution Week Columbus–to create a family-friendly annual event to EDUCATE our community about the Constitution. We should have our website (ConstitutionWeekColumbus.org) up in a couple weeks! I encourage everyone to start educating your own communities about our Constitution!

The "liberal" mantra is "reasonable (?)" adherance to the Constitution. That is not the way law works, all of it is binding and must be obeyed. The liberal fringe is willing to abide by the terms of the Constitution that do not interfere with their dismantling of the founding fundamentls of our liberty, but feel free to ignore the parts of it that forbid what they are doing. Marxism is not Americanism, it is a ruthless police state dictatorship not conducive to freedom.

Exactly. I don't understand this Muslim "opt out" crap. In my book Muslims do not qualify for exemptions of any kind whatsoever. This is just more of that CAIR propaganda that has been allowed to operate in this country under the guise as a support and help organization for Muslim's only. But with no thanks to the main stream media, everyone with any sense knows the history of CAIR, their involvement in collecting funds for the terrorist groups like Hamas, the American Muslim Brotherhood, etc. Now it is widely known that they have infiltrated our government — far and wide. They do a good job of taking advantage of America laws and then using our laws against us. This is in their manifesto.
This must be stopped. What makes a Muslim so special in the first place? I sure can't find or think of any reason for this. If anything, the Christian's in this country deserve the exemption more than a bunch of moonbat idol worshipers whose only goal is to kill everyone who is not Muslim. It's absolutely crazy. One thing is for sure. You won't find anything written in that fictional book the Muslims live and die for called the Koran, about Allah coming down to earth and performing miracles. Allah has never set foot on earth. Neither will you ever read anything about that criminal Mohammad performing miracles. The fact is he couldn't; because he is (or was) mortal like the rest of us, and probably by now his filthy corpse has turned to dust. He performed nothing miraculous during his time on earth. Just another Bedouin who by force made the Arab people submit to his so-called Islam theology and those who didn't felt the sword. It grew from there as the Holy Grail. With no manuscripts, scrolls, or other historic and witnessed documents to back up his claim that a Allah made him Prophet – and the last Prophet at that (at least nothing we can find that dates back to his time here on earth). His life here on earth didn't make it to publisher until a good 200 hundred years after his death. Like I am supposed to believe those accounts of his life that he is the final and true Prophet of a Merciful God named Allah, written by men who I'm sure retained perfect memory of what was said and done 200 hundred years hence. Pure garbage.
On the other hand no one has to doubt our God and the Holy Spirit, that Jesus was sent into this world to spread the word of God and who performed countless miracles while here. Who died on the cross for man's sins at Crucifixion and three days thereafter he ascended to Heaven to sit on the right side of the Almighty until judgment day. This can't be disputed and there are countless witnesses besides the disciples who wrote at the time about Jesus and the many books written by the disciples, were preserved by transcript.
Which story is the most believable? Which Prophet performed miracles and lived a sinless life, and ascended to heaven to await the great tribulation?
Contrast that to the Prophet who practiced and preached murder, thievery, slavery, and rape. Who took a child bride at the age of six years old — and according to the Koran he consummated the marriage when she was just nine years old still well before her first minis. What a sick, sick pervert this Mohammad thug came to be.
Pure and simple — Islam is a lie and the people who are Muslim have been duped. It is not the Muslim people who are bad, it is their religion and ideology. How can anyone in their right mind want to be associated with this animal called Mohammad?
And why are Muslims entitled to Health Care exemption status? I am afraid our government leaders have been duped just like the Muslim people. What a joke.
It's insane how these bureaucrats believe, or even say, that people have a RIGHT to government/taxpayer funded health INSURANCE. If they were honestly concerned about the availability of health CARE for 12-53 million people they would fix the social programs that were established to address those "deficiencies". What's more is they are constantly quoting "life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness" as though it were somehow the government's responsibility to "allow" these rights rather than "secure" or protect them.
The fact that this "representative" believes that his opinion supersedes the constitution is unconscionable. His statement alone is grounds for his dismissal/recall.
It's appallingly clear that the this "reform" bill was nothing more than a Trojan horse through which this administration seeks to take over the health care industry without so much as fixing anything except those things they deem as socioeconomic deficiencies. We knew this from the start when they harped on how many people were without health insurance. It wasn't that they weren't receiving adequate health CARE but that they weren't feeding the greedy health insurance companies. But wait, they didn't want to create more customers for the private sector they wanted to create a single payer system via the government. Again it was never about providing affordable health care but about creating a health INSURANCE program fully controlled by the government. Say it with me. Government Take Over. aka (fundamental) CHANGE.
Fortunately they did not achieve this. Instead they have created a back door through which they will attempt the same thing at a later date. Meanwhile they have in fact seized more power. Now having established a mandate for health care, surely, they expect the next step will simply be to take over the health insurance industry in a less conspicuous manor. Perhaps with a couple amendments here and there added to some future budget bill.
Ultimately it's was and has always been about bigger government and greater "control" over the people. All under the auspices of looking out for the less fortunate. Lambs to the slaughter.

People of America….your State Constitutions can be changed to implement laws to recall your U.S. Representatives if necessary otherwise they can only be removed from office by the other members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Some States have these laws on the books, however many do not. Start working on changing your State Constitution first, otherwise there is nothing that can be done to remove him from office at the present time.
With all the folks we've seen toss out their oath AND the Constitution in the past year I wonder why they bother swearing an oath at all. It obviously means nothing to them and there obviously is no legal way for us to enforce it. It's just pomp and circumstance signifying absolutely NOTHING. What a sham. And what a shame.

My friend in Chile is guaranteed health care in a socialistic system. She bought extra coverage so she could go to a private clinic instead of a state hospital. She goes into labor with her first child, drives to the private clinic; no beds….goes to the second clinic; no beds…..goes to the third and has the baby… WITH EXTRA private insurance… and universal healthcare.
