Think Progress Ripped Content From Tea Party Video To Create Fraudulent Racism Claim

But there is more… and it is shocking.
Remember “Activist 2,” the Saint Louis Team Party infiltrator, that claimed “I’m a proud racist, I’m white?”
It seems that Think Progress used a clip from this video, a video entitled “Proof that the Tea Party is not racist.”
The guys at SharpElbows.Net thwarted this infiltrator, heavily documenting his attempt to mingle with Tea Party protesters in Saint Louis.
Think Progress misrepresented everything this video and the Tea Party stands for, and against.
If staffers, including editor-in-chief Faiz Shakir should not be terminated for this behavior, I’d like to know why.

WASHINGTON – Hispanic and black businesses are receiving a disproportionately small number of federal stimulus contracts, creating a rising chorus of demands for the Obama administration to be more inclusive and more closely track who receives government-financed work.
Latinos and blacks have faced obstacles to winning government contracts long before the stimulus. They own 6.8 and 5.2 percent of all businesses, respectively, according to census figures. Yet Latino-owned business have received only 1.7 percent of $46 billion in federal stimulus contracts recorded in U.S. government data, and black-owned businesses have received just 1.1 percent.
That pot of money is just a small fraction of the $862 billion economic stimulus law. Billions more have been given to states, which have used the money to award contracts of their own.
Although states record minority status when they award contracts to businesses, there is no central, consistent or public compilation of that data, according to Laura Barrett, director of the Transportation Equity Network. She and other minority advocates are calling for complete and publicly accessible demographic information on all contracts and jobs financed by the stimulus.

Have him explain how his 2001 interview with the Chicago PBS station, where he complained that the Warren court was not radical enough, that it never challenged the "fundamental flaw" in the Constitution which limited what the federal government could do to you but it didn't address what the Federal government could do for you. Yell from the top of every building that Obama thinks the Framers got it wrong; they formulated a fundamentally flawed country.
And now he comes out and says that "next year," when he announces his proposals to reduce the deficit, he wants the deficit hawks to spell out their proposals for cutting the deficit. Give his worthless useless tit supporters their freebies and then challenge the GOP to take the freebies away.
Okay, abolish the departments of energy and education and use those proceeds to build prisons, if necessary, to house his supporters who will go on a crime spree when they are caught breaking the law, stealing food or whatever because they are too stupid and lazy and useless to go out and get a job.
Or find, as happened in the 90s in Wisconsin after Clinton signed welfare reform, that poverty did not skyrocket because either those recipients got jobs or else at least stopped gaming the system.
Illustrate what a scumbag Obama is by reminding his supporters that BP was his biggest contributor, yet he showed little hesitation in throwing them under the bus. What makes his supporters think he won't throw them under the bus, too, if it suits him? He promised them free health care but will surely support rationing because that helps 'the system,' which is distinct from the people utilizing the system.
Everything with the Dems is a game, every issue is positioned in a fashion that allows them to win that day's news cycle. Thanks to the Dems' dumbing down of the education system, they are largely able to win these battles.

I'd be curious as to where he got his figures from and what types of business. I know as far as contractors go, if there is federal money involved in a project, no matter who the General Contractor is there is normally a 15 to 25% minority business participation that has to be met at the time you bid on the project. You have to send paperwork in with your bid to prove the MBE/WBE/Disabled Vet participation percentage. If you don't meet the percentage there is a very onerous process to prove that you tried and could not meet the percentage, it's easier just to hit the mark required by the contract.
Those percentages are required on pretty much every Federally funded construction project, the percentage varies by the department that is providing the funding but not much. If you don't meet the set aside mark, your bid will pretty much be rejected, even if you are low and they will go to the next bidder who has met the requirements, regardless of how much more the bid is for. Tell me if that's not Big Brother at it's finest.

Having last week attended(not a member, but as a guest) a local RNC Executive Committee meeting here is Pinellas Co, FL trust me they are clueless self-congratulatory preening local pols and party hacks. It was a waste. As Rome burns, they fritter away time and capital. Are they as evil as this class of Democrats, no; are they up to the task of taking back the country, barely. You have to know by now that this administration wants and is begging for some kind of fighting and rioting to break out to give them the opportunity to implement whatever plans they have already set up and ready to go.

And my point is that there are racists in the tea party ranks, and Mark Williams was proof of that. He was on Fox News many times as a tea party spokesman and now we see what a racist he is.
