Commission Report: DOJ Stifled Investigation Into New Black Panther Party and Voter Intimidation Charges
by Bob McCartyAttorney General Eric Holder and others within the U.S. Department of Justice prevented members of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights from conducting a complete and thorough investigation of the department’s decision to drop charges against members of the New Black Panther Party for their 2008 election day actions in Philadelphia.
Members of the commission issued what should be regarded as a stinging indictment of AG Holder and the Justice Department in one paragraph of a news release issued today about the investigation trying to answer the question of whether DOJ practiced race-neutral enforcement of the law:
Although such testimony supported the need for thorough investigation, DOJ continued to withhold relevant documents and preclude relevant officials and supervisors from testifying. The Commission was thus limited in its ability to complete a final report. As a result, the Commission has issued an interim report that describes the evidence that has been collected up to this point and the lack of cooperation by the Department of Justice.
In a separate paragraph, appearing on page iii of the interim report addressed to President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio), Commission members highlighted the dilemma they face as a result of the DOJ’s obstruction:
The Commission, by a separate 5-2 vote breaking down along the same lines, found that although its statute authorizes the Commission to subpoena witnesses and written material and requires federal agencies to cooperate fully with its investigations, its authority to seek legal recourse when the Attorney General refuses to enforce Commission subpoenas, as has occurred repeatedly during this investigation, is unclear.
Video of the Nov. 4, 2008, incident that triggered public outcry is clear to any objective viewer: Billy club-carrying members of the New Black Panther Party were intimidating voters outside a Philadelphia polling place.
It will be interesting to see whether any state-run media outlets report AG Holder’s obstruction of justice and apparent racist enforcement of the law.

We knew this the whole time. I hate to be cynical, but nothing will come of this, the progressives get a free ride even while they are immoral and corrupt a$$es in every way, while people on the right are prosecuted for sneezing.
Under "You Lie!" hussein's imbecile AG (and Black Panther Party supporter and defender) holder, the Department of IN-Justice has become a sham of a joke of a travesty of a parody of a farce of a law-respecting and law-enforcing organization. It's time for the total failure, racist, incompetent joke and disgrace to America known as “holder” to be fired.
Here's the BAD news about this racist policy from Hussein/Holder: the more it's displayed in the media, the more it solidifies and riles up the lunatic-left black base to again vote 99.99999% for The One and his lunatic-left d-crat socialists. The GOOD news is that everybody else might be so disgusted by this racial perversion of the "justice" system, that maybe they'll respond appropriately. But I honestly think the latter will be a much smaller effect than the former.
When US Attorney General Eric Holder said he couldn't figure out which law the New Black Panthers might have violated by standing outside a voting station with billy clubs, how many of you thought he was genuinely stupid?

I would think that if Issa has any stones, he would have Holder in prison and oh bummer impeached and kicked out of the country. The Dems see themselves as a minority, just like the people they support to get votes, therefore, they believe they should get special treatment (just like welfare for the lazy bums) when it comes to corruptness. Cut government waste, including welfare of all kinds. Give the people on welfare a specific amount of time to get a job before cutting them off. Hey homey, we've got a structural unemployment problem in the U.S., and even if we didn't, why blame people for not having the capacity to function in a complex society. That's hateful.
The British Empire abolished slavery in 1847. We did in the War Between the States. We have a subgroup population with different cognitive abilities and traits, and we condemn people who were forcibly transplanted here for not having the ability to function in a society which seemingly requires different skills and traits than those they possess.
It's analogous to condemning a chihuahua for not being able to herd sheep the same way a border collie does. We make unreasonable demands on black people rather that making reasonable accommodations based on existing differences.
We need to establish humane policies and methodologies to enable these "otherwise abled" people to live fulfilled and decent lives within their capacity, while restricting their ability to inflict harm on others because of their limitations and predispositions.
Also, although I heretofore have been unalterably opposed to abortion, if blacks did not practice abortion disproportionately, they would now be double their current population, and imagine how disastrous a voting bloc so constituted would be for this country. Imagine the demographic twice as numerous.

I have no problem with people doing what is not against the law.
The HT belongs to Professor Walter Williams of George Mason University. He coined the term "Klan with a Tan" to describe the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC).
