A former official with SEIU Local 1000 in California was slapped with a 25-year prison sentence for charges of child molestation and making/possessing child pornography. News10 reports a troubling angle:
Jaime Enrique Feliciano, who served as president of Service Employees International Union Local 1000 representing thousands of Sacramento-area state workers, had previous convictions for child molestation and failure to register as a sex offender.
Previous convictions? ACORN and SEIU deserve each other.

Ok, according to Bertha Lewis (ACORN) – they are going to self-regulate now. The "independent investigator" will report directly to her. She wanted to sue the filmmakers rather than try to clean house in the beginning.

An oldie, but goodie!
I saw SEIU in action in Phoenix when Obama came to town. We wadered into their stream of protestors and were yelled at like school children at a fire drill. "Get in line!!! Get in line NOW!!!" We were on a public street just walking down the way. Don't even pretend these guys are grassroots. There were captains with thank you white shirts on leading the groups who also had name tags on that were professionally made. When asked why they had no flags, a few minutes later packaged flags were pulled out of their packages on the Pro-healthcare side of the protest . It was the silliest thing I have ever seen. There is no exaggeration when ACORN and SEIU are involved.
Yeah, but the sick thing is even the Mafia would stop at child human trafficking and pedophilia. (Catholic background in most mafia)

For what it's worth, I want to offer an alternative to ACORN…it is a group called LIFT (formerly NSP)

I volunteered for them in college (@ Northwestern) and have managed charitable drives on their behalf. No agenda except to help people in trouble (legally!!) navigate the world. It can be low income people, but also people who lack skills, or find them selves in difficult situations, to the elderly. They help with everything from resumes and jobs, to internet skills, to applying for help from charities or social services.
ACORN is wicked and all it's branches need to be, in the words of another organizer "cast into the fire".

Well, those are just people… perhaps instead of individuals we should look at organizations.
You have ACORN whose workers have been busted over and over and over again for a laundry list of bad acts including promoting tax fraud, aiding and abetting child prostitution, offering advice on how to get away with murder, death theats, and an extensive history of voter registration fraud. Now an ACORN don has called for an internal investigation… typically, foxes don’t investigate henhouses without taking out the less intelligent residents; but perhaps that is the whole purpose, to purge those who get caught while keeping the more savvy criminals to carry on business as usual.
Then you have the SIEU who tells their employees to keep doing what they are doing while they are under scrutiny for members brutally assaulting a black man handing out flags at a townhall… a man who was savagely beaten & had the n-word thrown at him for opposing Obamacare… was this the SIEU “hitting back twice as hard” as instructed by Obama?
Okay, I’ll judge Obama by the company he keeps… and various law enforcement entities need to start investigating that company… meanwhile, DoJ should start investigating Obama for stealing intellectual property from Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube users as well as start to sniff around to see how much of the rottenness of his company that he wants to be judged by, lead back to him.

There’s nothing to investigate: the guy lost his leadership position with SEIU last year when the charges were first released and, from the looks of the article, has had no affiliation since. This is just a follow-up story saying that he was sentenced.
