Organized Left Plan Massive Protests for April 4th
by Brett HealyIn the wake of changes to government employee unions’ power in Wisconsin and elsewhere, The Communist Party USA is working in conjunction with national labor unions and other left wing political groups to organize protests in Madison, Wisconsin and across the nation on April 4th.
Scott Marshall, Vice Chair of The Communist Party USA said his organization is working with the likes of MoveOn.org, the SEIU, the AFL-CIO and others to make April 4th, the anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., a national day of action.
“Support is beginning to grow,” said Marshall in an online meeting earlier this month. “A bunch of organizations already are hyping the idea of massive demonstrations on April 4th.”
The Community Party in particular has benefited from the recent debate over Wisconsin government employee unions’ power to collectively bargain, using the opportunity to build their ranks.
“In this struggle, the question of building the Left and building the Party has to come to the fore,” Marshall said. “Recruiting has picked up, more people are joining the Party and the broader left is getting bigger.”
The Communist Party USA leader said his members cannot just participate alongside other organizations, however. They must continue to join and help lead them.
‘We have to totally be imbedded in this movement and in these activities,” Marshall said. “Every comrade has a part to play.”
During the recent demonstrations in Madison, several protesters invoked images of Dr King, who was shot in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968, while in the city to meet and march in support of striking African American sanitation workers.

A Florida judge is defending his controversial decision to apply Islamic law instead of state or federal statutes in determining whether an arbitration award was correct, the St. Petersburg Times reports.
The case in question involves former trustees of a local Tampa mosque, the Islamic Education Center of Tampa, who are suing because they claim they were unfairly removed as trustees.
Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen said that the two parties can seek guidance from the Koran to resolve their dispute, according to MyFoxOrlando.com.
Nielsen said that based on testimony, "under ecclesiastical law," and pursuant to the Koran, "Islamic brothers should attempt to resolve a dispute among themselves."
"If Islamic brothers are unable to do so, they can agree to present the dispute to the greater community of Islamic brothers within the mosque or the Muslim community for resolution," he said.
The two parties reportedly agreed ahead of time to use an imam and Islamic Law to resolve any potential differences through arbitration.
Legal observers say there are several cases in which agreements between two parties can supercede general laws in Florida — like when a couple makes a prenuptial agreement.
"What the judge has said is that he will apply the Islamic Law, because that is what the two parties agreed to in their arbitration clause," Shahzad Ahmed, an attorney with NeJame Law Firm in Orlando, told the station. "This concept of agreeing to a different set of rules outside of state law is not unusual."

When I grew up, we were fighting wars against communism in Korea and Vietnam. Our government, our military, our citizens were devoted to root out this cancer. i was just thinking, on a related subject. one of the reasons for the push for railroads, over actual roads might also be unions. and if they were to let our roads crumble, and we would rely on trains, then unions could gain even more power, since they would run trains. but with a viable roadway system, a union shutdown of rails, would still let us drive our car, like we can currently do. but, i am hoping the states will abandon the unions, and our next republican president might cancel that executive order on unions. i am not for just out and out trashing unions, but keep them out of my pocket. let them produce goods, and if they are competitive, they will sell.

3) DO NOT ARGUE. DO NOT SPEAK. YOU ARE THERE TO DOCUMENT AND TO ACCUMULATE A BODY OF EVIDENCE OF ANY WRONG DOING YOU SEE. DON'T GET SUCKERED INTO A DISCUSSION. IT'S LIKE TALKIN TO A WALL.

Don't overestimate them either.

The main tool used is class envy. The people must be divided. History tells us that one of the most effective ways of doing this is to convince the people that they are part of a mistreated class or group. Sometimes the government will pick a group based on race or sex and convince them that they are being mistreated by the other race or gender. Once again, the only way of salvation for this mistreated group is the government. The government will develop their support and gain power on the backs of these people. Once ample power is gained, the government will do some favors for the group who gave them power. But once the power is established to a certain level, such favors usually cease.
The government in power now seeks to control even more of the people’s money. They must create another victimized group to do so and, therefore, convince the poor that they are poor because of society’s most productive members. They are told that the “rich” did not earn their wealth but obtained it by fortunate situations or by hurting others.
Sound familiar?
Look on the bright side. The only recruits they are getting are lazy morons to stupid and/or lazy to feed themselves let alone DO anything.

A lot of the comments on this blog are saying that the left is coming out for one last great effort and that the left is out numbered. It does not work that way folks. The enemy are "True Believers" and utterly committed to their cause. They have studies Alinsky and Mao. They know that they must stay hidden until the final overthrow. What is coming will not be over in a few days or weeks but this is the final phase that will take only a year or two at the most if they win….until the reactionaries….read that to mean…loyal conservative Americans….are either subjogated or liquidated. They can not win a protracted fight in the open and they know it. Look for contrived emergencies for the Federal government to grab mroe and more power…especially controlling the flow of information. Look for conservatives to be rounded up as subversives. If you think the events of the last couple of months in the middle east and here at home are amazing in their magnitude and speed…you ain't seen nothing yet. The ride is just begining.

I, also, have said in the past that "they rushed their fences with the Annoying One, Hillary would have continued the working, behind the scenes, he has been shoved down our throats." However, I have come to wonder recently, if it will be a moot point, a la demographics. I am beginning to believe that, worthy though they are, there are simply not enough "James O'Keefe's" generation, it could all come down to the numbers.

58,000 Americans gave their lives in an effort to fight the red tide in Vietnam and When they couldn't anymore they tried to save everybody they could. Luckily, my parents were some of the people that were blessed.
After arriving in a small rural town in '75 they were adopted by a German Couple from the local Methodist Church and rebuilt their lives. Through the charity of that couple our family was saved and given a new chance at life.
The single greatest thing that my father says happened to him was that he experienced the charity of the American People. The Temporary housing was only 1% of it. To him, 99% of that charity was the gift, the value of Freedom.
The Freedom to Think and Speak. The Freedom to Succeed and Fail. The freedom to keep the fruits of your labors and pursue your dream, unimpeded. "Freedom is a gift from God, and God Bless America" he would tell me.
Soooo….. fast-forward to present day and he sees what is happening: leftists in the streets, chanting about social justice and spouting communist slogans.
