He was a loving father and very patriotic. He even started up, and served as Commandant, of The Marine Corp League in the little town I grew up in. When he died he was buried in his uniform for the Marine Corp League and his casket was etched with the USMC Emblem with his years of service. He survived The Chosin Reservoir but he was the rough and gentle hand the guided me through life, down the aisle and into life. I miss him dearly. He was proud to be a Marine til the day he died.
