Mark Lloyd: FCC Chief Diversity Officer — And a Liar, Too

On December 15 in a speech for the Media Access Project, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chief Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd claimed to refute numerous what he called “exaggerations and distortions” of a wide range of his thoughts, positions and policy prescriptions from what he called a “right-wing smear campaign.” What Lloyd did was offer numerous falsehoods and denials about things that are undeniably true.
Just some of his many misrepresentations:
- LLOYD LIE: That the “right-wing smear campaign” was “distorting my views about the First Amendment.”

It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration … “[T]he purpose of free speech is warped to protect global corporations and block rules that would promote democratic governance.

Why are Obama’s leadership picks so incapable of telling the truth? It is not necessary for conservatives to ‘distort’ or ‘smear’ Mark Lloyd. All we have to do is quote him. When we do, he has public meltdowns with hysterical and dishonest accusations.
Mr. Lloyd, we’re not going to stop talking about you or your record, using that media – the alternative media – you and your radical friends despise so much because you can’t control it.

I find it so interesting how all of these Progressives use the same language… "right wing smear campaign" is one of their favorites. Their entire careers are based on saying neat little sound bites, while rarely, if ever, admitting to their true motives.
Progressivism is the disease, liberty is the cure. Mark Lloyd, Van Jones, Ron Bloom, Anita Dunn, the list goes on and on. These are Progressive marxists who can't come out of the fricken closet and just admit what they want. They are entitled to their opinions, but attempting to deceive the people in order to obtain your quiet revolution is borderline treason.

You will find all the Fruit n' Nuts speaking their real minds at the National Conference for Media Reform. It's a real libfest, and it's scary. Jane Fonda one year was speaking to the audience of politicians, journalists and God knows who else. "It's up to us to change the world!" she said.
If you can find them, the transcripts of the conferences are a real eye opener.
I wouldn't say its a "do nothing" position. This guy has the ability to affect FCC policy regarding diversity… and how many radio station licenses are given, based on the diversity of those holding the licenses. In other words, this guy can institute a reincarnated version of the Fairness Doctrine, or perhaps something even more broad and sweeping in its ability to regulate the air waves. Mark Lloyd is, in my opinion, a dangerous man in a pretty powerful position. The fact that so many people will assume he is in a "do nothing" position only makes him more dangerous.

But the Obama administration has cancelled Fox News entirely and put MSNBC in it's place with Chris Mathews! My son said that Chris Mathews is a stupid hateful anti-american sob and the soldiers are enraged that the Obama administration is limiting what they can see to only channels that are speading Obama's propaganda on tv, and that Fox News is no longer available! We worked together and often spoke and I cannot believe the distortions I have read here. By the way, I am a white woman and about 15 years older than Mark and have no political affiliations. I believe in whoever is best for the job.
